A New Path

Tenzen had laughed at what Noriko had said. It had been awhile since Tenzen had someone that he could joke around and laugh with. He was enjoying himself, and found that he was looking forward to meeting other's while he was here. His thoughts then turned to how he would be trained to become a jedi, giving him the chance to work with people who wanted to help others in need. Everything was so different from what he was used to. Tenzen felt like he had made a good choice coming to Kashyyyk.


"Up the stairs I go."

Pushing those thoughts aside, he began walking up the stairs to reach the top. What was important now was getting to the temple and doing what he came here for.

Noriko had a grin on her face while she was ascending the stairs. To better understand everything that was going on around the island she would need to realy work at it, to really see the parts of what her padawan could do she would have to push him to the limits and see what he could do. She was still uncertain about all of it but getting to the top she could see some fo the new statues, a watcher statue and the observatory where it led out to a smal platform. A grave marker and the sun cresting over it as you could see the twin suns with a smile on her face as she stood there. "There we go, we have been working harder now, the ancient jedi statues are nearly restored and some of the areas of the temple.

Seeing the statues and some of the area that she spoke of, Tenzen knew that they put a lot of time and effort into restoring the temple. Doing something like this was no easy task, this was something he knew, Knowing this, everyone here has been working hard to restore the temple.

"I have to say, it's impressive that everyone is working so hard to finish this task. It's not something a lot of people would agree to doing, or would stick with."

The statues intrigued Tenzen, who was examining them to figure out what they represented.

"Well they have a goal here. A purpose, the majorioty fo them are in the xplorer corps it is where jedi go if they fail their trials and can't complete them or never find a master. So they restore temples, work gardens and food stores. Do other things like function as temple guards." She said it with a small look on her face though while she was going over parts of it in her head. For where they were and then stoped at the one room looking down into the ocean with a smile on her face. She wanted to see over at it when there were some fo the new droids they would be abel to get out, be able to train with or search around. "We have built up a good training area here you can use."

Hearing that Jedi could fail their trails came as a surprise to Tenzen at first. He didn't know much about the Jedi really, but most stories he heard would always paint them as people who could never fail. Then he thought of what they do if that happens. They still have a purpose that serve to be important to the Jedi.

When they stopped, quickly examined the training area. As Noriko said, it was a well built.

"A nice training area indeed. I suppose its where most of the temple guards you spoke of train?"

:"They can or masters and padawans." She said it though looking at him and offering a smal smile on her face. Clasping her hands behind her back when she moved forward. "Now lets get you all ready, we are going to sweat so be comfortable... and I hope you enjoy the ocean cause we are going to go down into those waters. THere are caves within the mountain itself and the caretakers here on the island maintain all parts of it." She looked at him but had her saber staff ready to use, her robes were off to the side and she stood in the skylar training outfit. Perfect for swimming and for training so easily handled and dried quickly. "I don't want you to hold back but I don't want you to just lose control is that understood."

Taking in everything that was said, Tenzen faced Noriko and nodded his head. He assumed that this is where things would start to pick up and push him in terms of training. He was told that training wouldn't be fun or easy, and that is what he was expecting to see soon.

"Understood."

Keeping in control of himself was something he was usually able to do, and he knew that holding back was a sure way to get him killed out in the world, so keeping that in check was a priority of his as well. He may get enraged and overconfident at times, but making sure its not an common occurrence is what he's learned in his experience.

Alright now how best to begin this, she had a few ideas but just using a saber staff and dancing around swinging their blades. She wanted to really test him and here in this chamber of the temple she had the stones to work with. "Good then we will start with form I, it is the first form the jedi developed and is about random strikes to throw your opponent off guard." She said it and had her saber staff while she moved around. "It works best to use with a few of the techniques. She went to a jedi ready stance. "Now this will be different with a single or duel sabers but a jedi ready stance has the blade in front of you. Ready to be used in any zone of your body for protection."
