A Raid of Iron

Solan Charr, had been up to here with shit the last few weeks. Saverok's attack, the arrival of that Rekali, the Rebellion on Mimban, followed by the attempted and failed attack on Echoyla...

He was this close to snapping and blowing up something just for the hell of it... and thanks to [member="Silas Miu"] and [member="Jaster Starfallen"] he had a target that was given to him thanks to the effort of [member="Deneve Verd"] and her one little command.

"Fire...."

In less than ten seconds, the two would find four Pulseflare class cannon cruisers firing all Ion Pulse Cannons at the colony and specifically aiming to take out the colony's defenses. In conjunction with this, the Bastion Class Star Destroyer would immediately throw up its interdiction field while six Omini Class cruisers launched their Dovin Basals, providing an ever larger field as the basals expanded out. Severance and the Lucrehulks in orbit would move to launch Bombers and fighters, outfitted with ion bombs to ground and stall all ships that attempt to leave the planet while the location that [member="Silas Miu"] and [member="Jaster Starfallen"] were in would soon find Dropships approaching, all filled with 2 squads of Solan's personal Shadow Legionnaires, a force designed to kill force users that caused problems for the Shadow Prince... two hackers trying to steal the Mandalorian's prized metal would be but flies to be crushed under a boot.

It took a lot to really anger Keira, but within the past few weeks it had become easier and easier as things piled up. Her temper at this point was a hair trigger looking for an excuse to go off, and this lot had given her more than one. There were a number of individuals to lash out against, and mercy was the farthest thing from her mind. A slight smile flashed across her face as she heard [member="Deneve Verd"]'s voice radiate through the Force, and she spoke to her niece through the same medium, "Somebody else is here. Looks like the Republic have sent their Jedi, and I'm not of a mind to be merciful. Shoot to kill." And damn the consequences. They were trespassing on Mandalorian Empire territory, and now they would learn the hard way.

The first target was the one she deemed the largest threat at the moment, and that was one [member="Jaster Starfallen"]. By now she was able to sense his presence and pick it out from the fray, and without ceremony released a gunshot loud burst of the Force intended for him and the canister he hid behind, the strength that single strike carried more than enough to send them careening backwards into the wall if it connected. If luck was with her the kinetic damage would be enough to take him out of things for at least a few minutes, and a few minutes was all she needed. At the end of this, if she had her way, everyone not on their side would be dead. She would explain things to Mand'alor later.

Her next targets were the Jedi, an enemy she had faced more times than she could count, having killed more than a handful in past campaigns. It was time to edge that count up some more. "Come on, Jedi! Stand and fight!" Oh, she wanted them dead more than anything.

As soon as Silas saw [member="Keira Ticon"] send a shockwave at [member="Jaster Starfallen"] he decided he wasn't going to wait for a command. He pulled out one of his smoke grenades, lobbing it from his position atop the Traffic Control tower to as close to Jaster's position as he could get it, which was maybe three yards from where he'd been before lady buzzkill decided to move him. Smoke filled the night air, providing cover for Jaster. He might not be able to see past it either, but he'd at least stand a better chance of not getting hit. Either way, Silas knew they needed to find a way out of here.

He made his way to the roof access of the Control tower, briefly opening the hatch before throwing in his last smoke grenade, smoking out the employees within. After a good minute or so, he re-opened the hatch and held his breath as he entered the smoke filled room. He had to work quickly, as the employees would most likely bring a contingent of guards here to secure the room. He quickly, but efficiently, took the data storage disks, holotape players, server backup nodes and whatever else he could fit into his leather bag, taking a minute to upload copies of the files to Jaster and their mutual contact. Just as he heard shouting and the pounding of boots on the stairs below him, he fled back to the roof before realizing he'd gotten himself cornered. Turning around, he saw the roof hatch open as a mandalorian guard began to climb, pulling his gun up to level it at Silas' chest. Before the guard could get a shot off, though, Silas drew his Heavy blaster pistol and fired three shots, two hitting him in the left shoulder and the third ricocheting off the side of the roof hatch, bouncing down into the room below, with a cry of pain announcing it hit somebody. The guard in the hatch dropped from the ladder, but was soon replaced by an even angrier guard.

Luckily, Silas' droid, having noticed that guards had made their way up here, turned and opened fire with his rifle, taking care of the two remaining guards that had been in the squad. "Thanks, now lets examine the hangar." Silas said, turning back to where the main battle had started.

I am huddled behind the canister when an unexpected force shoved me up against the wall a couple feet back. My armor takes a beating, but I notice there's too much pain for just a bruise. "Blast'" I shove the canister away after a couple tries and notice a gray smoke in front of the freighter. With a groan I pick up my blaster and stand up. I look for my detonator and see it in the corner of the compartment. I walk over and pick it up. I must have broken a rib, though it hurts less standing up. I grab the deonator and stand taller, getting a feel for my injury. As I roll my shoulders I see a shadow in the smoke. I swivel and spin over to the wall and press the detonator. Any troops in the smoke are long gone now. I put the detonator in my armor's wrist pocket and close it.

"Those farkling karkin void brained Mandalorians!" I mutter to myself. I'm serious now. No more jokes and no more nice guy. I pull a repulsor powered cart over to where I am. As I do I realize that this is the shipment. An idea springs to mind. "Republic forces, report your status and position. Do we have any air support or vehicles?"

I kick the shipment through the smoke just at the right hand edge, for no reason other than I'll have to move it sooner or later. I drop to the floor in a crawling position and place myself between a wall and the canister from earlier, orienting myself towards the entrance.

It anything being a seasoned hunter gave Deneve a wonderful knack at knowing when something was up. She leapt down to the ground and rolled off her ledge almost immediately after she had sent the message through the force. It amused her how these people thought they could come into the capital of her people and steal from them?Kark No. If they continued this she would maim them all. She played civil with Sanya. She was done letting the pub scum come into her home and try and walk all over them.

Another message was sent through the force, this one directly to Solan. "Shoot at anything suspicious looking. I will take responsibility for the outcome.. I am tired of these idiots feeling it's okay to come into our home and smear it with dirt.."

With that sent, she would drop her sniper rifle and draw forth her sword she kept attached to her back, relishing in the feel of the darkside. Striding forward, the woman would humm softly, the sword scraping about the ground behind her. It didn't take long for Deneve to locate the hanger and slip inside, these fools wanted to play. She would play with them. Only she would not play fair.

"Solan. I'm on the transport ship in the hanger.. Do not let anyone leave this ship. If I say blow the ship to pieces blow it to pieces."A short yet clipped message was once more sent before the woman would lean against one of the walls in the hanger, her sword resting against her side whilst a blaster spun around another finger.."

"I will break you. Perhaps into a few pieces if need be. We have a system and idiots like you love going around it. Coming into our home and stealing from us." She addressed the person she felt approaching her, her hand twitching slightly.

I hear a scraping sound, like a terrible sound from a holomovie. I feel a wave of fear wash over me as I imagine the terrible things a holomovie serial killer would do to me. I scramble through the smoke to where I pushed the shipment. I take a couple steps and literally run into it.

"Oof!" I say as I accidentally run it the cart and a spike of pain runs up my side. I slowly push the beskar through the thick smoke being careful to avoid hitting anything else. Or anyone. I hear a singing voice talking about how they will kill me and the situation seems to become even more cliche. A villain that sings while killing, how typical. Next they'll lock me up and I'll find some genius way to escape. Back to the task at hand. Shopping cart, shopping cart, stroll... stroll...

[member="Deneve Verd"]

Her head cocked to the side before she heard the scraping sound of the cart. Slipping into the shadows, Deneve would make her way towards the sounds, her footsteps quick and silent. It was very long before she would come up on the side of the male with the cart, her head cocking to the side as she studied him for a few moments.

"You know... I've ordered this ship to be blown up before you're allowed to leave it right ?"

Deneve would start, her blaster soon being aimed at the chest of her person before her, a brow arching.

"Why didn't you just apply for a visa?Would save us the trouble and you what looks like an injury.." She questioned softly, not really wanting to harm the person in front of her but being willing to should it come to it.

[member="Jaster Starfallen"]

"The hell's a visa?" I ask. Partially stalling and mostly curious. Never heard of any visa before. I'm a soldier not a merchant. I lean against the cart and put my blaster down on it.

"And I'll be fine. It's nothing too bad." I lie. It actually hurts a lot and I'm hoping the rib hasn't punctured anything. I clench my teeth under my helmet and wait for a reply.

"Everyone stand down." I whisper into my comm. "I may have a diplomatic solution to this."

@[member="Deneve Verd"]

Silas prepared to stand down, but wasn't going to risk getting in a compromising situation on this rooftop. The guards hadn't tried coming up the ladder in a while, but that didn't mean they wouldn't try anything.

He kept his heavy Blaster pistol trained on the roof hatch while he tried to get his eyes on the situation below. The lady that he'd lovingly referred to as lady buzzkill had her weapon at the ready, though it seemed it was only half-heartedly trained on his friend there. They appeared to be debating something. 'This isn't good,' Silas thought to himself, 'One wrong move and he'll be so full of holes, he could be a pasta strainer.'

He hoped his friends plan worked.

"A visa is the means of procuring what you are here trying to steal without the stealing and getting beaten up part of the deal.. "

Stepping forward, she would place her blaster down and move to stand in front of him. Her hand extending out in a show of good faith. "I am Deneve. Let's step back for minute and find a semi peaceful solution to this without me having to have you and your comrades blown up. I really hate cleaning up messes.."

[member="Jaster Starfallen"]

After hearing what [member="Deneve Verd"] meant by a visa, I took my helmet off and put it down next to my blaster on the cart. I took the extended hand and shook it. "Blowing up is my least favorite part of a mission."

After I shook Deneve's hand I grin and say, "I'm gonna have to pay a fine aren't I?" Good thing I have Republic Military insurance coverage for messes.

Silas watched them shake hands and released a breath he hadn't known he'd been holding. Lowering his blaster, he spoke up over the comms, "Glad to see you didn't get yourself killed. It was starting to look like we'd never get off this rock."

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
Miss Blonde was past the point of caring anymore, between all the ridiculous things going on and the kid who thought he could just sneak into a capital and attack it and get away with a fine. To put it broadly the kid had a lot more coming to him than a stupid slap on the wrist, and what made it even better was the fact that he was republic. So that meant they had an actual enemy of the Empire here to try and steal their beskar, honestly the kid should of just shut up when he had the chance.

"Verd." Blonde shouted out as she approached the people having their little pow wow.

"Well well well, look what we have here. A Republic soldier, you know I used to grow soldiers for your nation and let me tell you, you aren't half the man they were. But with all the years I gave to the Republic I can spot a grunt a mile away." Blonde said as she looked at the little Republic soldier.

"So let's tally up the score. Assault with a deadly weapon, attempted murder, destruction of ME property, terrorism, and attempted theft. So by fine you mean twenty five to life in a jail cell, because let's be honest with ourselves here. The gravity wells are online, the system is locked down, and the space port is on lock. There's no way off this little rock, so this leaves us with a few ways to handle things." Blonde said with a very lethal tone to her words.

In one hand she had a very brutal looking pistol and in the other she placed it down on the shipment of Beskar that he was attempting to steal. Blonde always had a plan C for any situation after all.

"Here's how I see this going down. You can try and take the beskar, and I'll gun you down and kill your whole &@$#ing family, your parents, any kids, hell I'll even have your neighbor's dog killed for the fun of it. That's option one. Option two is you surrender, have a trial which you are clearly guilty of, I don't need to tell you that's what they call an unwinable case in legal business. But then again you could have a trial by combat, which again not going to recommend because Keira over there is gonna crush your heart with her mind as soon as you step into the ring." Blonde cleared her throat and then moved her hand over to the cart of Beskar slightly nudging towards the man.

"However option three is my favorite. As a member of the galactic republic or alliance whatever you are a part of, especially as a special forces member since this isn't the work of a regular old rifleman, you are privy to certain... information. Information that my friends and I could use down the line, things like access codes, IFF tags, and outpost locations. You know, useful things. So assuming that you are actually Republic someone like myself would pay quite the pretty penny for your armor's IFF circuitry, and maybe an access code or two, I don't know maybe enough to let a Beskar shipment go missing along with a few thousand credits. No one would know and you could go home with enough Beskar for a pretty suit of armor." Blonde tapped her fingers a bit and would let the man decide just how he wanted this to play out.

[member="Keira Ticon"] [member="Silas Miu"] [member="Jaster Starfallen"] [member="Deneve Verd"]

I pick up my blaster and swing and twirl it. An idea comes to me and a wide grin comes to my face.

"Well, those all sound nice and all, but honestly, I prefer option four." I set my blaster to "Stun" and watch the blonde's confused expression as I aim the gun towards her face and pull the trigger.

After the shot I turn to [member="Deneve Verd"]i and grin wider.

"I couldn't help it!" I say, "It was the perfect opportunity! The quip was pretty good too."

[member="Miss Blonde"]

Aedan left the bridge calmly making his way towards where the drop pod launch tubes rested climbing into one he strapped in and waited. His forces had entered the system and taken up position now he was going to visit ground side to see what all the mess was about. Securing his helmet on his head he pressed a button on the arm of his chair the pod was launched flashing through space with the rocket's flames lighting it up before it entered atmosphere and started to glow red his target was dangerously close to everyone in the starport punching through the partially open door. With a ground shaking thud the pod hit the ground the door of it blasting off and almost hitting the trio as it hit the wall and fell to the ground. Aedan's 6 ft 8in armor clad form stepping out of the pod as he cracked his neck looking around and drawing on the force calling out absently to [member="Deneve Verd"] "Am I to late to the party? And what happened to Blonde can I break whoever shot her? I am bored and had to leave my patrol route to come here."

[member="Jaster Starfallen"]

Deneve wasn't one for violence but the blatant disrespect to her comrade brought it out in her. She had not expected this turn of events. In fact they ticked her off. Anger It coursed through her veins. Instinct. A swift reach in response to his actions towards Blonde, a reflex poised to clasp her fingers around his throat and should her flesh touch his, crimson would flare about her skin. By the force would her grip be strengthened not to crush but to never let go.

"Unacceptable.."

It was then that her leg shot out in a sweeping motion, poised and ready to knock him onto his arse.

"No harm serious harm comes to him. The rest y'all can do with how you please.."This was sent back through the force, her anger still lurking just beneath the surface.

[member="Jaster Starfallen"]

[member="Aedan Miles"]

Aedan let a feral grin cross his face under the mask as he turned towards the being on top of the control tower gathering the force about himself he leapt upward swiftly sending his body upward aided by the force before he rolled on the ground near the control tower now using the force to make the hilts of his lightsabers leap into his hands. Igniting the two blades Aedan leapt once more towards the lower part of the control tower aiming to make it a two stage jump hopefully catching whoever was insane enough to trap themselves above it unawares.

[member="Silas Miu"]

"Aww Bantha Fodder!" I say as I hit the ground. Pain spikes up my back and side. I hit my head pretty hard too. I think it might be bleeding. Or that might be sweat.

"She was threatening me!" I protest as I flop on the ground. My arms flail around. "Alright go ahead and arrest me. I'll just be here. On the ground. If you need me. But you know, don't kill anybody. I stunned her, not Silas or anyone else. Let 'em go." I flail around some more. I can't muster the strength to get up right now.

"You guys got any food places around here? I'm kinda hungry. Like Swarmur?" (Star Wars equivalent of Shwarma.) I rest my head on the ground. "You guys are one tough culture. Wake me up in the morning if I haven't bled to death."

Silas couldn't quite tell what this feeling was. It was like a gnawing at the back of his mind. He shook his head, but decided he'd better get eyes on the situation again. As soon as he did so, a new figure appeared. Leaping with inhuman force, making great strides to reach the Control Tower. 'Poodo!' He thought, glancing back at the roof hatch, 'Possible death by guards versus certain death by strange force user.... options, options.'

Silas commanded his hijacked combat droid to attempt to take out the man heading to the tower. It would probably fail in its task, but it might serve to slow them down, giving Silas enough time to get the hell out of dodge. He ran to the roof hatch, his long fingers gripping the handle tightly as he flung it open, taking a quick peek inside. Upon seeing no guards in the immediate vicinity, he jumped down, landing lightly, turning on his heel to head for the doorway out of the office. He ran. If he saw any guards, he dropped into a slide, swiping their legs out from under them before continuing to run like their was no tomorrow, because that's exactly what it seemed like. He was shot at on more than one occasion, one bolt only missing because he hadn't reached that spot along the wall yet, but he was able to at least get out of range of the guards, twisting and turning down hallways before somehow ending up in the hangar that housed a ship that hadn't been their when the plan had begun. He noticed mandalorian guards unconscious around the small clearing, though was unsure of what caused it.

Silas took a deep breath, looking around the clearing, and back the way he came. He didn't see anybody in hot pursuit, but that didn't mean they weren't closing in. Glancing back at the Mandalorian guards, he decided he'd better do something about them. He found a few lengths of rope in a storage container nearby, using them to bind the unconscious guards hands and feet behind their backs, or as humans would call it, he 'hog-tied' them. He holstered his DL-44 and picked up one of the Mandalorians rifles, making sure the weapon was loaded, and found cover behind some crates that must've been unloaded from a ship that was here before this one, as this didn't look much like a freighter, though he could be wrong. He didn't know a whole lot about ships. He was more a droids and computers kind of guy.

He hoped to high hell that the force user wouldn't be able to follow him here. He took several deep breaths, calming himself down. A calm mind is a logical mind, a logical mind can plan, and any plan -could- work, as long as you stay calm.

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
There was no confused look on her face, call it a lost sense of being surprised but if someone was stupid enough to try and sneak onto the Mandalorian capital to steal beskar they were most certainly stupid enough to not take a good deal when they saw one. So what happened next was going to be fun. No Miss Blonde wasn't going to aim down the sights of her pistol and blow the idiot away, she had a better idea.

Quickly using her small size and nimbleness the woman ducked down and watched as the stun rings splashed off the wall behind her, and once that little maneuver was done she took the Kalso's Revenge in her hand and activated it's thermite function. The sticky liquid shot out of the weapons secondary barrel and coated the shipment of beskar completely dowsing it flammable jelly. Once it was thoroughly coated the woman shot a bolt at the shipment to send it up in two thousand degrees worth of flames.

Flames that would begin to melt the metal and make sure no one could have it, because if this idiot didn't want to play ball for the sake of his own pride then Blonde would gladly burn down what he came here for then send out her people to kill his family.

With the flames roaring on the table Miss Blonde had her weapon that was set to kill and pointed it at the man's head.

"You know how we're different?" Blonde asked the man.

"I don't deal in half measures. Verd I'll pay you for the Beskar later, but you kid. You fucked up big." Blonde said with a deadly tone to her voice.
