A Reunion on Alderaan

Ian nodded his understanding regarding Master Organa’s caution concerning Jedi Haldron without comment. He thought he sensed something in her demeanor - something he wasn’t socially adept enough to understand. He didn’t ask anything else regarding that situation… it wasn’t his business and, if Master Organa thought he needed to know more, she would tell him.

He listened to her explain knight trials. “I downloaded training archives from the Academy on Yavin. Some of the older reports were about trials. They sounded… intense.”

He was thoughtful for a moment, then continued, “If you see a need, Master, I will undertake trials, however, I was really relieved when you made them sound optional. I’m enjoying my training and projects and hate to change our focus.”

“I do have a request. As much as I value the lightsaber I have, it’s source and seeming attachment to me concern me. I’d like to make a new one to use… at least until I understand and feel comfortable with the dragon blade. That said, I feel I would like to equip it with a stygium crystal.”

He would see her reaction to that before he asked her if he could go to Aeten II.

"Stygium." She knew the properties of this crystal he mentioned what she was curious about was why this one. She could already sense there was more to this conversation then he was saying.

There were only a few places a stygium crystal could be found. So which did he wish to go to? Had he looked at this already, she laughed to herself of course he had. Otherwise he would not be standing there now watching her, waiting for her to ask the question.

He looked like Maeve or Dral when they knew they were getting ready to ask for something that they knew she would have questions. It was important...how important...more importantly to her was the why. Why this crystal, considering its properties.

"[member="Ian Milàn"] why that crystal?"
