[ Ba'gedet'ye, ad'ika. ] Bree replied to Mishka with a nod of her helmeted head, then the medic turned to give Vilaz and gave her beloved a gloved thumbs up as he called them to rally to him as they moved out.

It was good to see the Munin cadet was right on the Akaan's booted heels because the mission could go sideways at anytime. Briika thoroughly enjoyed mothering Three when the young Fett clone allowed though the boy was pretty independent.

As they made their way through the Bay of Tears towards the cave entrance, it certainly gave one the feeling the Sith cultists were not to be taken with a grain of salt. The Tor was not Force-sensitive, but it felt like they were being watched yet nothing came up on her HUD sensors.

[ What's that Corellian saying… oh yes. I have a bad feeling about this. ] the seasoned baar'ur mentioned over the private comms that she and the Munin had. [ This has been way too easy except for the acid rain… not trying to jinx us mind you, just saying, cyar'ika. ]

Mesh'la tried to as they say 'fly casual' as she followed the strange little man with an aloof look of mischief written all over him. The medic wasn't an undercover agent by any means so the young blonde most likely had tipped him off long before he lead her down a long corridor off the ballroom that she might be onto him. It didn't help either that Mesh'la kept tripping on her long gown and making noise. What… the Mando'ad wasn't used to wearing girly outfits; besker'gam and sturdy outdoor clothes were the mainstay of her closet. This outfit was a limited deal and wouldn't be worn again any time soon.

The little man was there one minute, then gone the next when Mesh's blue gaze looked down the corridor after letting a couple exit through the archway before she entered. The Mando's hgh heels clicked on the marble floor as each footfall took her farther down the hallway, then suddenly a small hand grabbed her arm and tugged Mesh'la inside a room. He gave her a hush sign with his gloved finger in front of his mouth as a blaster was held in his other hand. There was another man sitting at a data station head down busy typing away, one that looked familiar. Was it [member="Marcus Lok"]? It was hard to tell from Mesh's particular spot up against the wall with her hands up.

"This one okay, boss, or shall I do her for you?" he asked with a thick accent she didn't catch where from.

And so Elpsis quantum tunnelled into the thread through the power of instant teleportation. Presumably she'd missed a lot of stuff judging by the post count, but the dominion still needed several posts before the Mandalorians could claim the hex! So it was probably fair to assume that she'd get a chance to roast Sith cultists.

Elsewhere, folks were attending a gala. Elpsis liked partying, but mingling with arrogant, foppish nobles wasn't her thing. She was forced to do enough of that on Tygara when Auntie Siobhan felt like dragging her to Eldorai social functions. So she'd chosen the assignment that involved blowing stuff up.

So she followed the other Mandalorian warriors through the moderately creepy, melodramatically named Bay of Tears towards the cave entrance. The place was infested by the Dark Side. Its corruption permeated the foul air. It would have to be cleansed with Divine Light. To kill a Sith was not a sin, it was the pathway to paradise. The Great White Wolf willed that they be smote.

The firemane had been blinded when a reactor blew up on Omega, but she'd gotten better at using the Force to see. So far, she had not knocked her head against a wall, so things were fine, though colour-coded aura vision was kind of weird. Magnetic revolver was in hand, ready to be fired.

Camera One... Good. Camera Two... Even better. Camera Three...

The monotonous cycle of checking the camera feeds had been his task for the last few hours and he was all too bored with the assignment. It had sounded fun at first; keep the Queen safe from any form of assailant that might be trying to do harm to her and the cause of the clans. He knew the price of failure would likely be the collapse of diplomatic relations in the area, though he doubted that would matter much in the way of the Mandalorian's advances. For months now they had been tearing up space in small skirmishes and military actions that had shown their vicious power, but with events like these, they still managed to keep their reputation relatively clean...

It was mind numbingly dull, and the fact that he had to wear a suit made the occasion even worse. The majority of his closet was taken up by jumpsuits and comfortably loose clothes, not to mention the Beskar that he had been told to leave on board his ship. In some ways, he did like the suit, thinking it made him look a bit more serious than he might have otherwise, though it would be too apparent to any of the courtiers and ladies at the party that he didn't often have the chance to wear it... Well, it hardly mattered.

No one will even see it at this rate... Maybe I should have just come in work clothes... That's all I'm doing.

He took a few moments to withdraw his eyes from the screen. As he began to rub the bridge of his nose, the shrill voice of the small assistant he had been provided startled him back to looking busy. Though he might have appeared hard at work, the case was actually that he had typed in a few random bits of code and then immediately erased it to turn and acknowledge whatever problem had been sent his way. As he swiveled around, however, it was quite clear that his night was due to improve!

"No!.. No... She's with the clans."

He stood quickly, stepping away from the chair and moving across the small security room to greet the young Baar'ur that he had met on Kashyyyk. She was certainly dressed as though she belonged here! The last time he had seen her, she had appeared as many had on Kashyyyk, tired and overworked after the battle, but some rest had clearly done her just as much good as it had done him.

"Well, I didn't expect to see you here. Are you on call in case the Queen goes down?"

The small clone went off to conduct reconnaissance.

...also, to look for a place to pee.

He'd had an entire juice pack before they'd landed. And they'd been walking around for what felt like, hello Alor, forever!

There definitely needed to be bathroom breaks built into the CONOPS. In any event, as the young Mandalorian boy came back to join the main group, he paused a moment to get a count of the enemy forces in their midst.

One... two... Three girls. There were three girls with them.

Hadn't there only been two girls with them earlier?

The boy was starting to get a little concerned at the pace at which Mister Vilaz and he were becoming outnumbered in this thread.

With the baar'ur having taken the assassin informant away, while under the effect of Force-stasis, the ball could resume as scheduled so long as the Mandalorian guards on the outer perimeter could actually deal with the assassins. She senses that the Force-stasis cast on the informant has worn off, and, with it, escaped. That was bad news. Very bad news. Cathul was angry but she couldn't let that show, lest she'd use the dark side of the Force; her entire mission resided in the illusion that she was a Jedi and who knew whether some courtiers actually were Force-users. If she was acting like a dar'jetii, she would probably wreck the entire reason as to why she was on Gala to begin with: she sensed the Queen wanted nothing to do with dar'jetiise even when said dar'jetiise were doing things that were otherwise beneficial and necessary for Gala's well-being. Now the next song would be performed, and the dance would continue.

"Where in dar'yaim is the informant?" another of her fellow vode asked. "You're the Radar of Mandalore for a reason"

"The informant is closing in on the outer perimeter, joining his fellow assassins. The Force didn't want me to kill the informant"

"And neither did that baar'ur"

"But that baar'ur couldn't use the Force; I'm the Radar of Mandalore because I have unparalleled skill in Force-sense"

Where was Lok Munin during this whole catastrophe of a suspicious man that could be the assassin here to terminate the Queen and all that stuff? His commlink was buzzing and beeping, but he didn't respond to it. So what was he up to?

Well, he was busy snogging with some fancy, pretty, and rich girl that he found on the balcony. How did he ended up in this situation? The Munin didn't know, but he would give his thanks to the combination of spice and alcohol for getting him into this lovely scenario. Either the teenage girl found it rad and attractive to meet a guy like Lok or he somehow managed to woo her with his words which were most likely undisciplined words that were odd and strange. Was this damsel to be his one true love?

Nope. This was just a one-in-a-lifetime scenario since Lok wasn't truly himself due to the drugs and alcohol intoxicating him.

"Follow me," the unknown girl said to the Mandalorian and took his hand whether the teenager would or wouldn't follow her. No response came from the boy as he was dragged to a lonely corridor with only one room.

But things weren't going as they seemed. Oh, no, all of a sudden Lok was stunned by a handheld taser that was in the girl's hand. The youngster then fell to the floor like a lifeless doll and almost unconscious. "You're cute and I hope you don't take this too personally, but I got a job to do," the girl said to him, and began to tie him in a rope. With that all said and done, Lok was then stuffed into the room which appeared to be the janitor's closet. "Have fun," and the girl's lips swiftly kissed Lok's own pair before putting heavy duty tape on his mouth.

This was very embarrassing to the young Mando. Felt like his pride got stomped on by a walker. Hopefull Mesh or someone found him and liberated from these ropes and duct tape.

Sapphire blues met chocolate browns as the dark-haired Mando'ad she'd met on Kashyyyk rose quickly from the data station and came to her rescue from the strangle little man desires, whom either wanted to kill the young blonde or get under her skirt - hard to tell from the way he was eyeing the her shapely form.

Ignoring the little man for now, a sweet smile came to Mesh's face as the slicer seemed pleasantly surprised to see the her again. She had hoped to meet up with him someday sooner than later having enjoyed their night on the forest floor of the Wookiee planet post-victory party together; his company had been well received.

"Su'cuy, Marcus… And yes, I'm here with Clan Munin," the golden-haired baar'ur answered as her eyes couldn't help take in how handsome he looked wearing the nice suit.

"Are you here keeping an eye on things as well? It's really nice to see you again," she smiled again, then motioned her hand towards the data station behind him.

"Erm… You haven't by chance happened to see where Alor Munin's son has gone, have you? Lok was supposed to be my escort actually, but I seemed to have lost the teenager to the party atmosphere I think. I didn't see him on the balcony anymore when I followed your guy"

The city of Bitter End lay across the Bay of Tears from Chateau Malreaux. The city was a Clan Rekali outpost, and had been for years. Granted, not everyone knew what, which was probably why Alec was running out of rope.

"I don't believe it. He's using breath control."

"Should have gone with the longer drop," said Cousin Sten phlegmatically. He and Alec stood in the shadow of a long gallows, from which four Sith cultists dangled. Number four was still alive.

"Sure, but how was I to know the fether could do Forcey things to reuse the oxygen in his body? Or however the feth it works."

Sten eyed her. "You annoyed?"

"Little bit. Impressed, though."

"Want me to bring up a Mechamiri or some trakar? There's a gaid around somewhere. I saw Brelka eating off it earlier."

"Nah, let's wait it out."

Her cousin shrugged. "Your call, aliit'buir."

"I'm not being unnecessarily cruel here -- I'm not playing. It's worth knowing, this." She gestured at the dangling Sith. "How long he can keep himself conscious. Like, this is impressive. How's he managing the blood flow to his brain? You'd think a noose would work like a blood choke."

"To be honest," said Sten, "I never looked into it."

"Should check on that." Alec slipped on her helmet and glanced at the chrono, one tiny part of the augmented reality HUD. "Huh. Seven minutes and going strong. Fether."

"I know, cyar'ika. This has been way too easy, but I'm sure we can handle just about anything," Vilaz said to his beloved in the secured, private comms that they shared as the golden blonde had little concerns of the scenario they were in.

There was a new IFF tag that appeared on the HUD of Vilaz's helmet, but it was one that he was familiar with. It was the same girl that was with him and the Vanguard during the Invasion of Kashyyyk, and helped slaughter the little and insignificant forces of the Republic as they advanced towards the outer city of Kachiro. Today they would kill and eliminate any and every Sith Cultists that they could find in this grand, yet spooky mansion that felt abandoned and dead. And if he recalled correctly from that said invasion, the Sith were in such a treat because of the power that this fiery redhead possessed and displayed on Kashyyyk. While the Akaan was thankful he wasn't cursed by being able to wield the Force, he was impressive at the level of power one could obtain from it.

"I don't believe I caught your name on Kashyyyk," the Munin said Elpsis, obviously trying to prompt her to say her name. Why did he want her name? Just for communication purposes as they were about to enter a dark cave that was also a labyrinth considering the many tunnels and caverns which channeled throughout the cave. Only one would tunnel would lead them towards the cellar of the Chateau and he hoped they'd find it at a fast time with barely any casualties.

"Night vision on," the Alor said to his troops which was an order than anything else. But then he realized that a female Mandalorian didm't had a helmet and neither did the non-Mando redhead. Now what was he going to do about this minor inconvenience? "So how do you two young ladies expect to not bump into a rocky wall or some Sith Cultist, hmm?"

Unless they somehow had infrared or night vision, the Cuir Rekr was considering on having Mishka and Elpsis stay outside the cave while he and the Vanguard had all the fun of eliminating all of the Sith Cultists inside the Chateau. Maybe the two could talk about girly things or something to keep them occupied. That would definitely limit down Three's enemy forces.

Even this far from the den of evil, the Force was corrupted. The Chateau Malreaux bore a strong taint. Darkness permeated the air they breathed. Somewhere deep inside the castle, cultists performed dark alchemy and worshipped monstrosities. They were all, this Elpsis knew, minions of the Black Wolf, and thus they needed to be vanquished after being purged with fire and steel.

She heard the Munin male address her. Elpsis was somewhat sexist, but Auntie Siobhan had told her to cooperate with the Mandalorians. As for girl talk, unlike her aunt, Elpsis was not girly at all, which was why she tended to avoid fancy Eldorai soirees because she hated playing dress-up. She was not the type to swap stories about nail polish, or miss out the slaughter! Battle called to her like a siren.

"Name's Elpsis Elaris," she spoke when she looked at him. Elpsis wore Siobhan's old beskar armour, but had foregone a helmet. Her skin was tanned, deeply scarred and, as Vilaz would probably see when they locked eyes, she was blind.

"And I'll see by using my eyes. That's how you usually do it, hmm?" she grunted. The Great White Wolf would allow her to see. There was movement in the darkness of the cave, and, without missing a beat, she raised her shatterpistol and squeezed the trigger, firing deep into the darkness.

Ssssssst-CRACK A high-speed pellet exited the silenced gun, there was a cry of pain and the cracking of armour, followed by a thud when a cultist suddenly hit the ground. He'd probably just been on patrol, but now he could not tell his buddies about the Mandalorians who'd come to crash the demon summoning or whatever nefarious plot the infidels had cooked up. "So many Sithies to kill. So little time," she quipped and headed into the cave, stepping over the corpse.

For now Cathul was ambivalent. She was confident her fellow vode at the outer perimeter would be dealing with the would-be assassins since the venting circuits would require Jawas or other similar-sized species in the best of cases to infiltrate, rendering the venting circuits of the an option to be ruled out because she also sensed that the assassins were not that small. But at the same time she had to step in if said outer perimeter was breached. Her magic was rather short-ranged but weaponizable. Yet, in the context of a ballroom, short-ranged was acceptable: by space wizard standards, short-ranged usually meant pistol-ranged and long-ranged meant shoulder-fired-ranged and longer. She was dressed like those Dathomiri witches but without the pointy hat non-Dathomirians usually associate to Witches of Cathul's kind. She kept her Force-radar active, making sure that there were no other suspicious people in the ballroom.

"Status report" the Queen asked.

"The assassins are on the outer perimeter, Your Majesty. Our own security are holding them off"

"Good. The last thing I'd want would be that, because of misuse of your magic I'll end up getting killed"

"I was able to freeze and disable the informant before he could do so much as an attempt on your life"

Vilaz Munin said:
"So how do you two young ladies expect to not bump into a rocky wall or some Sith Cultist, hmm?"
By way of reply, Mishka simply took one slow step backwards after another. Eventually, she stopped when she reached the edge of the nullification field created by the Ysalamiri worn by Brikka and others. It was a shock to her senses, like moving from night to day or leaping into freezing water. The alien world flooded her with the weight of its history. She saw flashes of a man in black armor. She felt the weight of billions of lives upon his soul. The weight of a galaxy upon his shoulders. The man's emotional suffering permeated every inch of the world, filling it with a sensation of cold, crushing weight. Loss, rage, regret, determination... these emotions filled the world and flooded Mishka's senses.

Returning her pistol to its holster, Mishka gripped the handle of her sword and closed her eyes. With a deep breath, she pushed away the sensations of the alien world and focused her mind upon the yellow adegan crystal that had been fixed upon the pommel of the weapon and centered her emotions upon it. <My calm in the storm.> Mishka thought to herself before opening her eyes and drawing the blade.

The Chaab'kad glowed faintly, but it seemed as bright as day to Mishka's force-sensitive eyes. In the dark, it cast a pale yellow light upon the muddy ground and earthen walls of the cave. "Ni kelir atiniir." Mishka said calmly as she continued to tie her emotions to the calming effect of the crystal.

A few moments later, that calm was tested as the red-headed woman opened fire upon the distant darkness. With a shotgun. <Eager woman...> Mishka thought as she guarded the rear of the Mandalorian unit that entered the cave after the red-head had given their position away.

TLRD: Mishka drew a soul-steel sword and is following the group from far enough away to not be effected by Ysalamiri.

Briika is wearing a Ysalamiri backpack. A handful of the NPC's would also be wearing them. So no Force Sight if you're within 15 feet or so of her or any /most of the NPC's. So I'll assume you're off ahead of the group since you would otherwise have to be several feet behind the group to see, and you just opened fire with a shotgun...

Well, Vilaz got the female's name at last and he learned another thing or two about the redhead. She was blind, had no helmet, and had armor. He was glad she came prepared with armor, but was a bit concerned of her vision. Then again, he knew there were some things that the Force could do besides Telekinesis and and Force Lightning. He knew, from the little knowledge of the Force, it could give the ability for the blind to see like any sentient with eyes. The Mandalorian did wondered if she could see through the utter darkness from the cave they were just about to enter. Probably so, since that mystical power could do so many weird and unnatural things that technology and science couldn't provide.

"With blind eyes? No, but I get what you're saying," the Akaan replied to the non-Mandalorian, and then saw her raised her shatterpistol and aimed it at the darkness of the cave. He thought, at first, she was shooting at nothing but then realized that there was something or someone at the entrance of the cave as heard the cracking and piercing of armor and the cries of a living being. Then there was a thud of a corpse that was once a Sith Cultist a few seconds ago after Elpsis fired a single round from her pistol. One less Cultist to deal with. "Nice shot, and nasty weapon," the Cuir Rekr said in regards of Elpsis' weapon and her deadly aim.

Then Mishka spoke and said in the native tongue the Mandalorians that she was capable of handling herself. Did Vilaz doubted? Maybe a bit, but it was the blood of every Mando of wanting to prove themselves as a deadly and competent warrior to eyes of his or her fellow comrades. "Very well, if you say so," the Concordian simply replied back to the girl and began to follow the redhead who was ahead of the others.

"Stay sharp and alert, vode. And stay close to me, Three," the Warrior said and with that they began their trek into the dark and scary tunnels of the Chateau. "Be near me, cyar'ika," the Munin said to Briika in their private commlink channel.

His Bloodstripe cannon was out and ready to shoot out a slug at whatever dared to come in their way.

It was truly a pleasure to have the little man around to aid in his appearance rather than his actual usefulness. The Queen had assigned him rather quickly, and he served more as a curious oddity than anything else. Nevertheless, a polite nod to the efforts of the small suited assistant were enough to send him on his way, back into the party to maintain a careful eye on the cameras... Though he could hardly do anything to fix them if any were tampered with.

"Yeah, well I was told here to sit and watch the cameras. Nothing exciting, but someone's gotta do it."

He tried to give off a confident air about his duties, but he doubted that anything effective could be achieved by watching strolling parties of guests and servants waltzing and socializing around the ballroom. Any assassin worth their salt would have mapped out the camera positions a week before, and the presence of the younger Munin and his Alor'ad, [member="Cathul Thuku"] who was managing a conversation with the Queen, as he understood it.

With a boring task and no real reason to keep his head down into the monitors, it was only natural that the young Alor found himself drawn further away from the console and towards the more formally dressed girl he'd met on Kashyyyk. He had actually half expected to get a dooming message from her mother after they had spent the night together in a sleeping bag meant for one, though it would seem as though she hadn't found out, and he was quite alright with that. Things were different now, of course. The ballroom had never been one of his people's strong points and the news that one had already gone missing in the crowd was nothing out of the ordinary. He'd probably wandered off with some baroness that didn't belong outside of her father's gaze... Though at the thought, a spot of concern grew for the young man and Marcus gestured towards the console.

"Haven't seen him for a while... I'll check."

A quick step towards the console and he began switching between the cameras. Different flickering images of the ballroom and dancing courtiers and nobleman in all sectors of the palace would flash on screen, none revealing any trace of the young Munin...

Someone more pragmatic like Siobhan or Seraph Taldir would've probably just acquired cybernetic or cloned replacements. However, Elpsis was a stubborn type, and a good deal more spiritual, whereas the former were both atheists. She'd been deprived of the use of her eyes, but her goddess allowed her to see via her gift. There was a certain poetic irony about someone who was endowed with farsight being blinded. Trying to see through the Force took some getting used to. Many things that lacked a presence in the Force simply blurred, becoming background noise. But if she focused enough, she could hear the ripples.

Thus she made her way into the darkness of the caves. Despite her eagerness for combat, her steps were careful. She was still adjusting to Force Sight and danger could lurk at every corner. Epsis was a bit ahead of the group, staying out of the Force-null bubble generated by ysalamiri some Mandalorians seemed to be carrying in their backpacks.

It was ironic, for there had been a time when she feared her powers and wanted nothing more than to be free of this 'curse'. The Jedi and her evil father were to blame for this, among other things. But she'd come a long way from the scared girl who'd eked out a miserable existence on the streets of Coruscant's under levels. Doubtless, there'd be Sith to kill soon. After all, they had a post count quota to fulfil.

"These assassins are so unorganized. They are on the outer perimeter: they seem to have no clue as to where the security cameras are"

"Why do you claim that they are unorganized?"

"Any assassin worth their salt would have been able to figure out where said cameras are long before the assassination attempt begins"

"Really?"

Cathul could pick up in the Force where the assassins are and where are the security cameras closest to the assassins as well. She was a little bit relieved upon sensing that information. In a sense she was lucky to make it through the next song, which was rather classic. And then Cathul got around to dance with one of the aristocrats, who was obviously impressed with her ability to use space magic. But she didn't seem to have much energy left for using Force-agility. She didn't need to worry about that though: she was somewhat agile on her own right, despite the big size of her lekku. Sure the size of her lekku made her more endearing to other humanoids, but others preferred Zeltrons. Between the Zeltron courtier, all too reminiscent of one Joza Perl, and Cathul, several courtiers wanted one dancing turn apiece with each woman. They were, simply put, the talk of the ball by that point. A rather advanced spellweaver vs. another one whose merits were not based on the Force.

The young Mandalorian had a very important job.

Mister Vilaz was telling him to stay close, because Three was here to protect the Clan Alor!

...that was his story and he was sticking to it.

Pistol drawn, the boy stayed by the man's hip as the troop advanced forward. Within the confines of his helmet, colorful cartoon characters brought to life by the onboard computer helped illuminate and highlight different controls within the HUD for the boy to adjust, bringing the elementary combat sensor and low light vision enhancements on-line so that he could see as they entered the tunnel.

As Mister Vilaz spoke to the new lady person, the boy realized that she wasn't wearing a helmet. But she seemed to be able to see fine. He overheard the exchange but, unlike Mister Vilaz, didn't really follow what was being said.

"Are... are you a Jedi?" the child asked, curiously, turning his head toward the lady.

Not that there was anything wrong with that. Some of his best friends were Jedi.

Oddly enough, those same people were also some of his best enemies too. Especially when it came to cheating at HoloStation.

Briika switched her HUD over to night vision as they entered the darkness of a cave. She maintained a comfortable distance from the Akaan, always watching the Cuir Rekr's six. With wearing a nutrient frame on her back instead of a jet pack, the baar'ur had about a fifteen feet Force null area surrounding her though. She was careful to give the known Force users amongst their team a wide berth yet staying close to her beloved.

There was movement ahead and several shots were fired by various members of the group into the dark with surprising results from the supposedly blind redhead. The Force was such a mystery to Briika. She had watched Rianna heal patients before by touching them and concentrating real hard, but still didn't quite get how it was accomplished. The Tor was glad she and Munin were not. Attrion was late to the party, he always was. He'd scaled the walls last to make sure no one was inept enough to fall off of the cliff-face and by the time he reached the top, his allies were already spreading themselves thin, silently taking out the guards one by one. To top it all off, someone was already in position sniping, its like there was no need for him at all. Attrion had been gone for awhile, pursuing bounties and exploring all around the galaxy, but now he was back, back and helping the Mandalorians. He ducked behind some crates and activated his comms, "I don't believe I've had the pleasure of meeting you guys." He said, a small smirk creeping across his face, "The names Attrion, what do you need done?"
