Private A Royal Encounter

Iwata was enjoying the leisurely trip, though while it was a pleasure and honor to accompany the Princess, to enjoy the coveted casual time with her, the Jade Screamer never neglected her duty. Like the stoic Bugeisha, Iwata and Sun were protectors, and Iwata's gaze both enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, and watched for danger.

When Junko guided the skiff to the small beach on the river island, Iwata followed her out, followed by Sun. Nari secured the vessel. The two Jade Screamers glanced at each other with stifled smiles at the banter between Princess and bodyguard. How rare to see anyone speak to a royal person like Nari did. It spoke of a deep relationship forged over many years, and undoubtedly many experiences. It was also fun to hear how Junko could be mischievous and lusty, as the tale of the skinny dipping Chiss women revealed. Iwata felt like she was eavesdropping on a private conversation, but neither the Princess nor the Bugeisha seemed to care that the Jade Screamers were listening. They found it amusing the contrast between the all-business bodyguard and the playful Princess. Iwata was coming to like Junko even more, as a person and not just as a celebrity and hero.

Iwata was emboldened by the Princess's story of daring and her playful demeanor. "How much time before the other arrive? Do we have time for a quick swim?" She was sure Nari would adamantly say no, but she was not in charge. Sun looked at Iwata with shock, unable to believe the bold suggestion her sergeant and friend just made.

Junko paused and looked at Iwata as she asked for a moment with surprise... but then a grin appeared on her face as Nari's voice came out but under her breath and it was more directed towards Sun. "Oh no there is two of them isn't there?" JUnko had the large grin on her face and nodded. "Oh we should have plenty of time before they are within range and yes a quick dip is important to morale." Quickly JUnko had moved and was out of the bodysuit launching herself from the sandy beach up into the air with the force to land in the water. Going under and rising up as she swung her hair around. She stretched and enjoyed the water while Nari stood there looking at Iwata like a parent going 'look what you did now' but she wasn't angry or judging.. this would likely become another tale like the chiss or some of the others.

She wasn't even sure why she had suggested it. It sounded so fun, to swim with Junko, after seeing another side of the royal princess. Iwata mught have been reprimanded or chastised by Junko for suggesting something outside of her duty as a soldier. But to her delight, and relief, the Princess seemed to love the idea, and quickly shed her body suit and made quite an entrance into the water.

Iwata had paused a moment, stared at the undressed Junko with great admiration. Then, ignoring the Bugeisha's displeased glare, and Sun's look of shocked amazement, the Jade Screamer sergeant stripped off her armor and ran into the water to join Junko. Iwata loved the water, and was an excellent swimming, moving in graceful circles around the lovely princess as the Jade Screamer Corporal and humorless Bugeisha looked on and kept watch.

Nari was looking at them but she wasn't angry mostly indifferent but observing the area around them to protect the princess. Her hands going to the scanner as she took a position to observe and keep track of everything else that they could. She looked towards Sun and motioned with one hand to cover and observe so they could see the road but also the area where Junko and Iwata were swimming. She held the crescent blade at the ready with her blaster sword on her hip. Junko looked from the water seeing her and Sun with a grin and wave of her hand before she was swimming and looking at Iwata. She spoke looking towards the screamer and spoke softly but clear enough to be heard by her. "She isn't all bad... just careful and takes her duties seriously."

Sun heeded the command of the Bugeisha, setting her crescent blade nearby and uncasing her lightbow, holding at the ready she too took up her position to guard the bathing women. Sun was amused by Iwata's unusual interactions with the Princess, seeing one of her own becoming so close to the famed jedi princess. But she would admit a bit of jealousy as well, both of Iwata...and of Junko Ike .

Iwata, surfacing after swimming beneath the surface around Junko, drew closer to the Princess to hear her speak, out of the hearing of the two women standing guard on the island. The Jade Screamer nodded in understanding, looking to the Bugeisha and Jade Screamer standing guard on the shore. "As she should, your Highness. I know we are having a bit of fun, but it is not only Nari's, but Sun and my duty to protect you, and I would do so here in the water also, with every last drop of my blood." She assured her benefactor with a more serious look in her dark eyes, her hand resting on the Kunoichi Blades hanging from a cord around her neck.

Junko nodded her agreement with that and she knew how good those blades could be in skilled hands... it wasn't much... but the improvements to the Atrisian armory had seen vast improvements in terms of weapons. The lightbows were skilled and able to take down a fighter as well as having a massive range. The small blades were made for soldiers but also ordinary citizens to be able ot use them and well outsiders didn't know the necklaces housed a blade for protection.... best surprise ever or handy slicing method when you need to get out of a dress and can't find the zipper cause celebration. Junko swam around and floated there letting herself rest on the surface of the water destitute of clothing but she looked at Iwata.

"Always nice to see our new equipment being used... have you tried the Lotus Mines? Or..." She grinned as they had worked on them. "The Mirei Class Racers for sports and getting around." There was few things better in what she was getting the chance to see what some of their soldiers used. She didn't know about the weapons but many of the soldiers used them and they were top of the line with advanced ammo that broke down organic and inorganic materials to dust or could track biometrics so you had homing ammo. There was also the better walkers and speeders that could become walkers for defensive measures but Junko stayed on the surface of the water and floated there allowing her hair to curtain around herself.

There was little modesty displayed between the princess and the soldier as they happily swam naked in the river. Iwata stole fleeting glances at Junko's figure as the jedi floated on her back, enjoying the rare pleasure of seeing Junko's fit, feminine body. As the Jade Screamer tread water, her arms outstretched and moving slowly back and forth across the river's surface, she could see Junko's eyes fall to the concealed blade around her neck. A true defender always had a weapon, but even without the Kunoichi blade, Iwata was never defenseless, like all Atrisian soldiers, she was skilled at unarmed martial arts as well.

As the subject fell to equipment, Iwata smiled. It was impressive how much the Princess knew about the military's arsenal. Iwata was sure Junko was intrumental in getting many of them in the hands of the soldiers. "I have trained with the Lotus Mines. A great simple, versatile design that would be handy even for us mounted soldiers." She grinned again at the mention of the new swoop bikes. "The Mirei racers are too new, I haven't had a chance to get on one. But I bet they are a thrill to ride!" Iwata liked to ride, it was one reason she loved being a Jade Screamer. They not only rode organic mounts, like the longma and akorec, but vehicles like the Shima cycle and the skiffs.

There was a grin and Junko nodded, the racers were good for many things but they were newer compared to some of the others so some might not have been able to use them. That was fine and she shifted in the water for a moment but grinned drifting close to Iwata but she was more then happy to just being here for a moment... the sun coming down, the breeze and there was the scent of the trees and flowers. The mountains were peaceful where she could look it all over with a nod of her head. "Lets see what we have here though." A grin on her face though when she rolled and stood up looked at the river itself. The one side was the trail going up but the other was rocky and went up higher lined with trees. "This is a nice place, could be ideal for a scout post you get the mountain on one side, along the main road leading up and can use the river to detect stealth vessels that disrupt the surface."

Those butterflies began to flutter again as the naked Junko Ike swam drifted close, the moved to stand in the water near Iwata. As cool as the river water felt on her skin, the Jade Screamer felt a warmth inside at the nearness of the Princess. But she hid her reaction well behind a kind smile. "Yes, your Highness, it has a good vantage point to guard both the road and the river, and watch for anything that moves over both." It was truly breath taking landscape with the fragrant blossoming trees lining the river, and the stark, majestic peaks of the mountains behind them. Junko's presence only rendered the scene near complete in beauty. Sergeant Kin admired how the Princess, even while in recreation, thought about Atrisia and its security. Dark, admiring eyes turned to the petite princess, her smooth, but fit light golden shoulders bared above the water, her mane of midnight black hair hanging straight and damp down her back.

SHe gave a nod of her head.. Iwata had a good eyes and staying in the water she was raised on her toes to touch the bottom in some areas as she walked but the water was nice. Here it spread out and went to the rocks where she moved touching them and pulling herself up for a moment. "Hmm to explore a little and drive Nari crazy or head back?" She said it to herself and didn't need to look to know Nari was watching her from the corner of her eye... she was dedicated and clear in her duties but that woman had an awareness of things better then some jedi the princess had met. She motioned with her head for Iwata though and climbing up it was the mixture of trees and grass with the rocks she could see. THe overhanging tree branches with some fruit that Junko lept to and grabbed holding herself up with one hand and force enhanced grip strength over the water. "Hmm delicious."

Along with the sheer joy of enjoying a skinny dip with the Princess herself, Iwata felt the same duty that Nari did. She was the most immediate defender, a very personal escort on their little adventure. While she shared in the Princess' pleasure of the refreshing swim, Iwata lept aware of their surroundings. Peering back, she could see the Bugeisha watching intently, while Sun had her lightbow in hand, keeping watch in the other direction.

Looking back to her charge, the petite but fit half-Umanushi sergeant followed Princess Ike's summon and climbed up onto the rocks, watching as the Jedi royal retrieved a piece of fruit for herself. The physical and Force-enabled feat was impressive, and reminded Iwata that the lovely Princess was far from defenseless herself, a Master of the Jedi arts. Again, that awe Junko Ike elicited from Iwata arose, and the Jade Screamer marveled at the confident, nude national treasure before her.

She looked at the woman and hanging there put the fruit in her mouth as she brought her other hand back up and grabbed the branch. SHe was climbing up to follow suit and it was worth it as they could check around here. She moved so she could stand back on the rock and pulled one of the branches towards her so she had some fo the fruit with a nod of her head and had her other bite holding it there. "Delicious." THe grin was on her face and they would be able to get plenty while she looked at the water and was reaching out with the force to get the proper depth of it.. she wanted to look at it and well jumping would be one way to drive Nari crazy but she was there enjoying it and stood looking out across the river to the forests and then the mountains themselves... the snow there but also all of the green. "Oh this is beautiful and worth it all... if we can manage more there are going to be more then enough planned."

Reaching the Princess's side, Iwata smiled. The Jedi had pulled the branch close enough for her escort to snatch a piece of fruit as well, and Iwata pulled a plump one free. Taking a juicy bite, she nodded and hummed in agreement. "It is delicious!" she replied enthusiastically.

Iwata stood shameless next to the royal lady, joining Junko in taking in the breathtaking scenery. From the mountains to the rolling green hills beneath them, it was a lovely sight. "I it really is beautiful. Iknow Atrisia won't just be restored, but will flourish, your Highness." The sergeant offered, not out of vain flattery, but because Iwata truly believed it. Much of the rejuvenation of their home was initiated by Princess Ike, and Iwata knew the royal Jedi was not going to stop anytime soon.

Iwata had also noticed out the Princess eyed the water. While she was unable to gauge the river's depth, she guessed that Junko Ike was considering jumping off the rocks into the water. I was clear the Princess liked to test Nari's patience.

She nodded. "It is part of the plan... we have been developing better terraforming technololgies, the system itself is the goal... all of the worlds, the moons and even the asteroids that we have here are invaluable to not just progress but also defense and solving what could be scarcity problems." She said it but had the grin on her face when she put the fruit back in her mouth to hold it secured before she nodded and lept towards the water using the force to suspend herself for a moment and turn around just enough to salute to Nari who groaned but there was no problem going back down into the rushing waters when she used the force to cushion herself and sink to the bottom for a moment that she could push up from just fine.

To have such availability to the Princess, to hear from her own plush mouth her dreams for their people, made Iwata feel so blessed. The Princess treated the sergeant well, not speaking down to her. It made Iwata feel very good, and proud. She took another bite of the delicious fruit as she watched Junko Ike leap up from the rocks, suspend herself for a moment in the air, and gracefully plunge into the water. It was quite a gorgeous site. Looking up, she could see Nari didn't see it like that.

Inspired, she held he fruit between her teeth also, and dove it. It was not as stunning as the Princess' dive, but she was a fit soldier, and held her own, diving into the water and coming up immediately, the fruit still in her mouth. She swiped her wet, black hair from her face and looked to the Princess. She wanted to prove that she could keep up with her charge. Besides, she liked being close to the charismatic leader, and now companion.

Junko was there and coming up out of the water as she broke the surface and made a flare of sweeping her hair to one side for show. Iwata following down and she looked at her getting a smile on her face with the fruit held there when she swam around a little towards the shore sitting there and relaxing half submerged in the water with her hair over her shoulders to cover herself.. Benefit of long hair. SHe was looking at Iwata and finished taking another bite as she had large enough ones it was almost gone. There was more she could do but it was good to let it all be seen as Nari was coming down and the skiff was there. The other ones with them had the camp set up so it had been time well spent in the end. "Now this is enjoyable. "She could feel the cool air and looked up at the sky as the smells of food were starting to come from the food being started.

The Princess and Jade Screamer lingered in the cool water and finished their fruit as the skiff slid near, and Nari approaching with Sun in tow. "I totally agree, your Highness." Iwata answered Junko Ike , admiring how beautiful the Princess appeared in the water, her long raven black hair draped over her shoulders to cover herself, mostly.

The aroma of cooking food was carried on the light breeze, and Iwata felt her belly rumble hungrily in response. With camp being made, she knew the enjoyable respite with the Princess in the water would come to an end. However, Iwata would not move towards the skiff until the royal Jedi did, intending to remain diligently at the Princess' side.

She gave a nod.. it was beautiful... and there was food but she didn't want to move... well she did but she didn't want to have to get up... moving her hands to hold the food... no wait she could have a handmaiden do that.. they could feed her foods like grapes." That would be ideal... she could get behind that as an idea..... maybe but she needed to get up and pulled herself up out of the water while she was walking with a smile. Nari and her guards had joined her to give her a look of come hiter and join me... for food. She was walking over and didn't worry about modesty as much as she got some geta for her feet and moved stretching out to get a plate and bows. Her soldiers were used to things and how she usually operated so they treated it like any other day making sure she had some food and a place to sit and eat while she made space for Iwata and Nari.

Iwata followed the Princess out of the water, but did not follow her over to the camp. Nari and a group of guards met their lovely naked leader to escort her to dinner. Iwata dried off with a towel Sun had handed her. Then she held her hand towards the skiff sitting nearby. Her bonded Jade Screamer Armor lifted from the craft and streaked to Iwata's side. She donned the specialized armor, attaching her weapons and gear to the suit's magnoclasps. Only then did the sergeant and corporal join the others at the camp, waiting their turn to get their meal.

"I can believe you went skinny dipping with the Princess!" Sun leaned over and whispered giddily to Iwata. "I was kind of sad I had to watch the road. Watching you two would have been more fun." The Jade Screamer corporal teased. Iwata grinned elbowed Sun in the ribs. "Behave." She replied. Iwata saw Nari gesture to the Jade Screamer to join her at the Princess's side.

"Lucky." Sun murmured as Iwata shot her corporal a grin, then moved to get her food and join the Princess and the Bugeisha.

SHe looked from the food to the sergeant in her armor and nodded agreement... it was sleeker in design but for the screamers it was more then protective... most of the Atrisian clothing was getting newer works to improve their design to be more protective when compared to before. For the random attacks and strange elements that seemed to come to the world. "Welcome back." She said it and Nari had food plus the place there as others were walking around but she brought up some information on the hologram. "We have a path for tomorrow, it will take us into the mountains themselves and we'll leave the river for the moment. Half the force will continue to go up river while we move towards the interior and we should meet up a day and a half near these forks and where we should be able to see the dam." Junko gave a nod and was eating but she looked at Iwata. "THe mountains will be easier to navigate with mounts for scouting. Do you want to lead as one of the screamers. It is your fortay."
