A trip down history lane

"These seem to be acceptable terms"

2% was more or less par for the course in terms of tourism luxury taxes. That was the amount charged by the Assemblage of Three on Jiroch-Reslia and, by extension, the First Order, when the Lesrekta Galactic Cemetery, touting a Year-Round Halloween, opened as a theme park. Even though these seem to be methods more worthy of the Hutt Cartel than the Techno Union, from which the Techno Empire descends, charging an amount of tax for graft would not be unheard of. She had to do so on Nar Shaddaa. By now Star Tours operates two Ultimas, as well as a dozen Exoduses, thirty Rasta Subs and 75 Maersks, which is more or less Maersk Star Freight used to be before some of their routes were sold to other corporations. Like Mandalorian-controlled Air Alderaan.

"Well then it's settled then! I'm sure that 1% in my personal account will be top priority!"

Vanderhing chuckled as he stood up and limped towards the woman with his cane in his right hand. The cane's noise echoed through the room. He limped up to her pulled his his right hand glove off one finger at a time then put his arm out to shake her hand and said with his ever so shakey voice

"It's been a pleasure doing business with you madam, I do hope that we can do business again!"

"We hope that it will work for both parties then"

Now that the business she came to Geonosis for is done, she will probably watch a baseball game at Stalgasin Memorial Stadium, to experience what she just sold for herself. Herr Vanderhing was a little... crooked, but Dunames knew that not everyone could be perfectly honest in this universe. She was, for the most part, acting much like a Light Side Sith would. Pursuing a malevolent (if one could consider megalomania as malevolence) agenda but with benevolent acts to carry it out. She knew there was a business cost to pay to do it, however. And it's only now that she notices the corpse.

"Now that the business in this winding maze called the gubernatorial palace is done, I would like some escort to get out of the palace"

"Roger"

That was a rather long-winded trek inside the gubernatorial palace, but equally long-winded was the way in. Dunames was happy that the business could be finalized to her satisfaction, but never she would have suspected the complex to be, well, mind-boggling. Often in the piloting world people talk about taxiing being the worst part of piloting, with landing a close second (a takeoff and a landing was atomic, in the sense that you had one automatically with the other) because they can get their bearings a lot more easily with the third dimension than without.

Vanderhing was slow at walking due to his limp. The two ended up moving slow because of it which made their time in the hallways that much longer he quickly stopped for a moment to clench his right leg and he said

"You must excuse my speed madam, but the leg pains can be unbearable..." He took a moment to breath then said "Let us continue if you would"

throughout the palace were many, many, many, many paintings of him or his mother or both of them as well as many other decorations including Neimoidian busts and gold ornate vase. Though the hallways were a mix of stone and a sort of gothic style with many very elaborate decorations.
