Two weeks had passed since Caedyn had taken
Kyra Perl
under his
official tutelage as an Apprentice, and only the first of those two weeks had gone to plan. In that first week, Caedyn had seen reason to give Kyra some much needed down time while he himself could organize his transfer from the
Svivren Jedi Enclave to Kashyyyk under a full-time basis.
Elise, a senior member of the Silver Assembly had called upon Caedyn's assistance; having previously been a temporary substitute for the students of the Order when able to pull himself away from the needs of the Outer Rim, the Jedi Master had asked Caedyn to evaluate one of their students out of concern for their health and well-being, as well as their progress as a Padawan Learner.
Having established the Jedi Coalition within the Outer Planets Alliance and allocated great effort into revitalizing seven key Jedi locations for which would work to support peace and stability in the region, Caedyn had accepted and subsequently found himself intrigued by the young Padawan. He hadn't realized it until having left that first week, that Kyra Perl held a startling resemblance to Caedyn's former Master,

In any case, Caedyn had returned at the end of the first week, having ensured the Enclave of Svivren would continue to operate sufficiently in his absence while he would return to serve once again under the Assembly as a full-time Jedi Knight of Kashyyyk. What had disappointed him most however, was the discovery that Kyra Perl had left Kashyyyk without informing anyone. Caedyn had been notified on his return, and the Hangar Logs confirmed that she had left some time before-hand. There were no indication of her destination and nor did any of the present Knights or Masters know of this unscheduled voyage. Meaning that she had gone AWOL.
The week that followed was filled with much concern and discontent. Kyra was a bright and capable Jedi student, yet she had been under great strain following the traumatic incident involving herself and
Acaadi
's being captured and she forced to witness her friends torture by a Sith Cultist seeking to corrupt them both. It was only natural that they were suffering from the weight of the experience, let alone the miracle that they had been found in time. So that week was an agonizing one where Caedyn could only wonder where she could have fled to in a Galaxy so vast, with possibilities endless...
A notification arrived one day out of the blue, the Jedi Knights datapad sounding his Padawan's registration within the Silver Landing. She had returned and it was all Caedyn required to drop what he was doing and head there right away. His thoughts raced as did his pace. Frustration and anger had come and gone in the days passed, but all that he found now was a need to know that she was alright. The interrogation would come only after he would see that she was still in one piece...
