Act I: Sands of Time

He shook his head at @[member="Circe Savan"]'s words. "Swallow your pride. It will do you no good here." He turned his head to the reporter at his side, @[member="Simone"], he gave her a reassuring nod before his gaze found that of the @[member="Young Akala"] and @[member="Queen Naala"] skipping away and speaking, respectively. He still didn't understand what species they were apart of. It was quite...disturbing.

Despite his feelings he maneuvered around the reporter and looked to the Queen. "What are you?"

Pausing, Circe looked over to @[member="Queen Naala"]. "Madame Queen... I've experienced the same sort of situation that @[member="Young Akala"] has experienced here. When I was her age, I had people, adults and kids my own age, mocking me and scoffing at me because of my social caste and my heritage. Who I actually was personality-wise didn't matter to them - only that I was a princess, thus I supposedly had an electrum spoon in my mouth, as the rumors went. I merely don't want to see your daughter experience the same thing." She gave a somber frown. "As well, I feel that as we're here, it's only fair that you know what will come of your great kingdom. And of the slave races."

Pausing, she turned, looking the Celestial queen over. "It's been quite a sight so far, I must say."

She nodded her head in understanding. These people were utterly confused.

"I am a Kwa, wife to King Oa and Queen of the Kwa Holdings Empire."

He raised his hand when she turned away. "Queen." He said and he took one step closer and stopped when he noted the guards. "Where and who is King Oa?" He questioned. He couldn't let her leave without giving him more information, and if she did would Antares have the nerve to follow after her? He was unsure, at least for now. "I apologize for my ignorance in such matters." He said after. If he insulted himself, perhaps the Queen would spend more time in the public area.

"I will decide what is and isn't for my daughter... I'm sure you will understand." The Queen quirked an eyebrow. "Are you so sure you know my people's future?"

Alexandra's head turned slowly and she bowed her head in respect. "On your wish Queen of the Kwa, if you need anymore answered i can try and do so as i hope that if anything that comes to mind might be answered if allowable." Alexandra stood slowly and dusted off her robes and pulled her hood up over her head before tugging her silvered blue hair behind her into the hood. She pulled the robes tight and waited to see in which direction the queen led her. As an after though Alexandra looked at Tamara and waved her over, speaking softly. "Come on, i think the queen wishes to speak with us." She made sure to say us and not me as she was unsure over leaving the girl that in her mind she had made her charge alone.

Tyrin had been ignored, as should have been expected. Strike one. If this sort of behavior continued, someone would end up maimed. Tyrin detached his lightsaber from his belt, holding it in his hand and keeping it deactivated for now. By this point, he was beyond scowling. His former fiery temper replaced with a much colder, frigid fury. He looked at Kaine to see if he had noticed Tyrin withdraw his weapon. Tyrin had little doubt he could dispatch the majority of this royal guard on his own, but a fellow Sith's help was always something to be appreciated. Besides, making a spectacle of the slaughter was half the fun.

"Your husband is an unhelpful charlatan who wasted our time with inane rhetorical questions. Do not prolong this dreadful affair by dragging him back into the picture. He did, however, mentioned an individual by the name of Mako and implied they were responsible for this. Where is Mako?"

He was speaking directly to Queen Naala now, spiteful eyes boring into the alien queen.

The Queen sensed much danger from this one. She held up her hand. "I beg of you, patience. Mako is a systems engineer and an operator of the Gates. He works very closely with my husband, and the two of them will undoubtedly provide you the answers that I cannot..."

"Madame Queen... The Kwa Holdings will end up, after the removal of the Celestials from the picture, giving technology to the Rakatan slaves. The Infinity Gates will be turned against you, and you'll have to destroy all of them. Over time, your formerly proud species will degenerate into a bipedal reptile of semi-sentient consciousness known as the Kwi, who will live on Dathomir in symbiosis with the Witches of the planet. The last known Infinity Gate will be destroyed when an evil Empire chooses to use its Infinity Waves for nefarious purposes."

Pausing, she turned back to the queen. "Of course, this is some time away. The Kwa will last for tens of thousands of years before the Infinite Empire rises from the ashes with their Dark Side technology."

He heard what the woman said to the other man. Gates? What gates? Were there gates around? His eyes glanced around the area and then he said, "I heard King Oa is the Keeper of the Gates." He said simply. "Where and what are the gates? Where do they lead?" It seemed his bid to have her stay was working out because she hadn't left yet, that was fine with him. He needed answers, the other Jedi could learn something from him when he returned.

Good, she heard him that time. The lightsaber returned to his belt, desire for bloodshed now sated.

"The longer we remain here, the further jeopardized the natural flow of time is. It is imperative that we set out now for these gates now."

Tyrin looked over at Circe, who was now attempting to directly change the future by providing the Queen forewarning of the fate of her country. This was at the tip-top list of things Tyrin did not want to happen. Tyrin was an evil man, there was no question of that. But sometimes even evil men recognized when they were out of their league and it was in their best interests to work for the common good. The common good now was keeping people from tampering with the past and irreversibly changing the present.

There was no way to interrupt nor silence Circe, so the logical thing to do would be to discredit her. He glanced briefly at Circe before filling the Queen in.

"That woman is a traitor, a rapist, a chronic liar, and a coward. Pay her no mind."

"We spoke with the King. He was...most unhelpful. You are either stalling for time or you do not know. While speaking with strangers not from your era, conversing in a language that does not exist yet," Moira said coldly, no humanity to be found in her words as she approached. The Royal Guards were in her sights, but they were insignificant to her. She was designed for murder after all, a product of organics' inherent murderousness and so she was ready for violence.

"'You will play out your destinies,'" she spoke, a perfect imitation of the voice that she and Jorus had heard when they had been briefly ported into the white room. "I gather it is only a matter of time before we get warped again. Following another stage of her life, "so she has the answers and time is running thin." The counter until she began inflicting what her model was designed for was running.

THOOOOOOM
The sky turns dark, almost as if night has descended. Thunder resounds throughout the desert, and a flaming meteorite strikes the dunes behind the Main Group and the Queen's caravan.
Sand erupts like a terrifying tsunami and rolls over the group, threatening to consume them all.
Meanwhile, a trail of white fire leads towards the object that has just crashed into the desert.

"You've got to be joking. You call me a traitor, despite my consistent support of the Sith Empire even after your body breaking the Imperial throne. You call me a rapist, when I've never done such a thing to anyone. You call me a chronic liar when I have a degree in xenoarchaeology. And you call me a coward for being the only force there to fight against the Mandalorians. Please, go back to enjoying retirement. That getting smashed into the throne might've caused you a severe concussion with major aftereffects."

Alexandra didnt even think twice before grabbing Tamara and picking her up if she could if not she would grab her hand and dart for the river. "I hope you can swim miss, else we are going to be in for a fun time." Alexandra looked at Queen Naala and then the queens daughter before turning to run and stand between her and the sand dunes, pushing Tamara to the queen. "Queen, run with your daughter and this girl into the river please, no need for a death today, VULPESEN, Help me keep the sand from enveloping them before it reaches us." This entire series of actions took ten seconds, and they had about ten more before the tsunami of sand reached them, she would need help to stop it enough that it would not engulf the Queen, Tamara, or Akala. Either way she closed her eyes and focused on the area infront of her hands as she began to gather force energy, she would try and redirect atleast a portion of the sand before it consumed them, and she was close enough to the river to try and run for it should her plan begin to fail or should no one help her.

Kaine was about to throw his own opinion into all of these shenanigans between Tyrin, the Queen, and Circe, when a thunderous boom opened the sky. A meteorite suddenly crashed down behind them, summoning up a massive shock wave of dirt and sand that threatened to consume all of them. Kaine chuckles and raised up one hand as a shimmering force enveloped the area around him in a small bubble of energy. The barrier was only large enough to fit Kaine, and perhaps another person or two, and was created only to preserve himself from danger rather than the group as a whole. He didn't really care what happened to them, and if they were strong enough they'd find their own way to brave the furious storm. "Never liked sand, always got in places it didn't need to be..." What worried him more was what crashed down to create such fury, and what it heralded in the grand scheme of things.

Circe herself focused, an energy construct of an iron dome forming over her, @[member="Young Akala"], @[member="Gerion Ardik"], and @[member="Queen Naala"]. The construct disappeared with a repulse as Circe removed her power from maintaining it. "Everyone okay?" She paused, wanting to certainly make sure that everything was going the way it was supposed to.

With a smile, she looked over at the Kwa queen, as well as Akala. "I hope you two are alright."

"You are far too repulsive to joke about, as are your crimes." Tyrin replied, a roll of his eyes. "Your membership to the Empire was always on account of your own interest. Just as your allegiance with any other government that allowed you to prostitute yourself to it."

This was not a verbal battle that Circe could win. Still, if she needed two people to rip her apart over such a short span of time, Tyrin was more than willing to oblige. He needed an outlet for his pent up frustrations anyway. This time-traveling situation provided no shortage of resentment on his part. All the better to let it loose on someone with no allies and no hope of besting him in any arena.

"My defeat by Shorn was not the crowning moment of my life, but at least I fought him. You fled Dromund Kaas in the wake of a fleet four times smaller than your own without firing a single shot. The citizenry of that planet perished for your lack of valor. If only you had been as persistent then as you were in attempting to molest then-Admiral Viera Kisep."

Tyrin did not point out that people who have degrees can lie. This was partly because it was so inherently obvious and partly because Tyrin was suddenly distracted by the appearance of a giant meteorite hurtling for the ground. It hit the sand with an awful sound, sending out a shockwave that knocked Tyrin off his feet and kicked up a sand tsunami. Was that even possible? Didn't matter by this point, it was happening. Zambrano conjured up a barrier with just enough room for a derisive Umbaran to slip in. Tyrin rose to his feet and stuck himself within Kaine's impromptu zone of protection, lending his own power to reinforce the barrier.

Granted, Tyrin could not conjure one of his own, but at the very least he could empower Kaine's to offer the duo of Sith a bit more protection.
