Act I: Sands of Time

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
Alexandra nodded at @[member="Vulpesen"] conclusion, it made bit of sense but she suspected that for some reason there was more to it than just simply the girl, and it wasnt as if they were silent observers, their actions already brought with them one person from the past prompting her to speaking. "Its probably wise we not interfere heavily with anyone again, or the same thing might happen as just happened with... Whats your name miss?" She turned her head to look at @[member="Tamara"], waiting for an answer while she let her kind Silver eyes rest on the small girl.

"OW, YEOUCH!! OI!" bleated Habaek in his defense, backing up away from the seven headed pink demon attacking him. "QUit... OI! OW!" she smacked his arm, his forearm, one stray smack to the chest. She finally managed to get him good on the top of his head, before muscle memory took over and he began to simply back away and avoid her attacks. She came to his left, so he swung his head to his right, quick darting movements reminiscent of a Jeco.

"Pink demon! Quit it!" he demanded, hands waving in front of him to parry her attacks.

"Get her off!" he said in plea to the pink man, but the woman would not budge. Finally with a frustrated grunt, both hands snapped out towards her to make a grab for her wrists.

"Daddadadadaddatchhhssshh.... calm! Yes!" he heard distant laughter, his ears perking at the sound of a little girl laughing. "Do what she does, " his head went towards the sound of the little girl. "Laugh" he said pointedly, pausing only to add, "Less energy. Hurts less too!."

"How about we go meet and greet, no? Maybe go to that oasis? Standing around in the desert never helped anyone. " he added with a sudden forced grin.

Grand Admiral, First Order Central Command
As best as Cyrus could tell, the two gentlemen speaking on something approaching friendly (or at least not overtly hostile) terms were both Sith Lords of some power. The very sort of people whom Cyrus himself had left the now-vanished Sith Empire years ago to avoid serving. Their kind were usually callous and vain, so assured in their inevitable victory that they wasted lives and resources in pointless battles and frivolous slaughter. The sort of men who made a career Admiral like Cyrus ponder just how difficult it really was to lead an empire. But here he was out of his depth. All the knowledge of military strategy in the world wasn't much good when you were skipping through time on a desert planet in gods-knew-where. In fact, this was exactly the sort of occasion where having a few Force Users around was probably a good thing. Even Jedi had their uses on a battlefield, after all.

The one who spoke now Cyrus recognized from some intel brief or threat report. Well, that had been before the merger, so now he was ostensibly an ally. King of some minor planet or somesuch. At the very least, a sort of familiar face.

"There seems to be some purpose to this, an accident wouldn't have gathered so many people from across the galaxy. Perhaps patience is our best recourse here."

Jorus blinked, feeling slightly sandbagged, but the human replica droid's logic tracked clean. "True, I do feel sorta steamrolled by a child of some kind. Just thought I was having Circe Savan flashbacks is all. Wonder how fast that palm-frond sled can go with a grownup steering..."

“I am Tamara. And yes…that is Illyria, you know of the Dark Goddess?” she asked the blonde.
The words sunk in at last. “Time traveller…yes…I suppose I am.” She looked down to the distant river. “I suppose I am free now…I suppose I should thank whatever has moved us.”

"Well good that you are free now, do you not think so? Either way, speaking of who moved us, why are we watching this young girl, Akula if you guys are right, riding on a sled, dont you all think we should head that way and see where shes heading?" Alexandra laid a hand softly on Tamara's shoulder, not for any reason but the girl was in the same situation as them now and a simple hand on the shoulder might help calm any thoughts going on in her mind, though she made sure the touch was slow and light, as kind as she could muster.

Vulpesen shrugged and moved ahead of the group, dashing after the princess, keeping on her blind side as he advanced. The sand would muffle the sound of his movement as he dashed across the landscape, doing his best to observe the girl. There was no real time for words. The girl was on a sled and they were on foot. If they wanted to keep up, they would need to be fast and not waste any time in their pursuit.

And apparently her companion agreed, taking Tamara's hand in hers she attempted to help the girl along and keep a stead pace, she wouldnt be able to run like Vulpesen but wouldnt leave the girl alone in a situation like this, leaving her with only the one option. Well that is unless Alex carried her but she didnt know how the young one would take that so she ran with the girl in tow if she would let her. "Come on, lets see if this is really your old master's child grown up, why dont we."

The former senator blinked, and he was suddenly standing in the desert. Again. Whoever was casting them back in time, and now...wherever they were, he was sure there was a point to it. He turned quickly on hearing the sounds of a girl, watching her sled down the sand dunes, then run away..

He could see people beginning to chase her, and the slave girl who had been with @[member="King Oa"]. He was sure there was a purpose to this. Omni would not place him on this path if there was not.

A smile on his face, he dashed off to follow the small group following the girl, sprinting until he was next to a woman and the slave girl, then slowing down to a brisk walk. Looking down at the girl, and then at the woman, he smiled.

"Greetings, friends. My name is K'Dan, former Senator of Mechis III. It seems we are on this journey together. May I travel with you?"

"As long as you dont cause anymore trouble than is unavoidable that is fine with me, im Alexandra, Rogue Force User of Everywhere." She looked at the man for a few moments before continuing on, she didnt want to lose the direction incase Vulpesen or @[member="Young Akala"] out distanced them, yet she didnt want to leave behind Tamara, thus leaving her to move briskly but being unable to run which would heed their progress but that was necessary in this situation. Her free hand pulled her robes tight around her sabers and the holocron she carried with her, unknown to here there was nothing more than a message for her on the Holocron, but she had been taught to never learn from the holocron, it was a test of loyalty from her long dead master, a useless holocron that she was never to study from, but she nor no one else would know it was useless unless they opened its knowledge.

She continued to laugh, to giggle, frolicking in the sand dunes until she turned behind her to look into the distance. A huge group of people were walking at a very quick pace towards her... what were they doing out in the sand? Akala's stomach dropped.

"MOTHER!" She screamed back towards the river, picking up her palm leaf and grabbing a running start. "MOTHHHHHHER!"

Akala, scared for her life, jumped back on her palm leaf and raced down the next sand dune, gunning for the river in the distance.

As soon as the girl's attention moved away from him, Vulpesen used the force to stunt the advancement of the others, using them as a distraction to get closer. Still trying to keep from being noticed, Vulpesen reached out his hand, letting Ace leap onto the sled before diving into the dune, dissapearing into the sand with some help from the force. His bond with Ace was still growing, and he believed that it was nwo time to use another trick. *Poking his lips and nose out of the sand to breathe, Vulpesen focused himself in his bond and the force, taking in Ace's senses as the half a foot tall wolf hid on the sled and watched the princess.

"My sentiments entirely." Tyrin responded to Kaine. "Someone will pay very dearly for this."

Not that it would save said King from Tyrin's ire if they ever crossed paths again. Wasting his time in this situation? That was worth at least one appendage and an eye

continuing to observe the group around him while sticking to his own little subdivision populated with Kaine and the Admiral. A duo of rational beings, he had no doubt. Partly because Kaine had never showed Tyrin his dungeon on Thule.

The admiral spoke up after a few moments of quietly observing one of the two pinklings assault a small, native boy. Another group of Jedi (he discerned they were as much from their revolting smell and annoying upbeat nature) scampered about nearby. Then there was a group comprised of Jorus Merrill and his infamous shotgun, plus a robot and a woman who seemed mostly irrelevant. He had no desire to intermingle with any of those, though he did consider draining the knowledge of the boy being assaulted by the reporter. It would be an easy task, but that would probably upset the other pink man, who carried himself like a warrior. Infighting would not get them anywhere at this point. If they wanted to be good and inefficient, Tyrin supposed it was best to let them be so... Against his better judgement. Then again, the presence of Jorus' shotgun was more than enough to sour his appetite for dastardly deeds.

"There's truth to the admiral's words. Perhaps we are better off simply waiting for-"

And then a little girl came out of nowhere, spotted the group, and began screaming for mother before bolting over the dunes. Also, the small boy was still getting beaten up by the reporter and yelping out in agony.

"-...The rest of them to screw it up. Someone had better take charge over these rabble before they hurt themselves and get us stranded here permanently."

@[member="Jorus Merrill"], @[member="Tamara"]

The merry band of Jedi and the now liberated slave girl - at least she knew of Illyria the Great Old One - went off to greet the Princess, who then started screaming for her mother and dashed over the dunes. Strangers appearing out of nowhere did not exactly induce trust instead of looking like say assassins. Hopefully all these first contacts would not cause a rift in the space-time continuum.

"That went well. In the event that some time in the far future this comes to backfire on the Galaxy, we can blame it on meddling time travellers with no common sense," she said, you might have guessed it, impassively to Jorus as she beheld the scene from afar. "Perhaps the wrathful gods of destiny will oblige us by sending their legions of doom out." At least they had a great many time travellers who could serve as human shields for them. For her part she had no intention of getting stranded here. Equally there was the natural inclination to cause violence and destruction, which suffused her entire being. It was a shame MSE-007 was not here as well, for his wheels might have soon been slick with the blood of the innocent.

Queen Naala

Guest
Q
The River Lushuai ran in a fertile ribbon through the desert wastes. In an oasis grove of palm trees and cool pools, a woman was sitting with her feet in the water. Her maids shaded her with a parasol and wary guards stood around.
“Where is Akala?” she asked.
As if in answer the cry of the child came on cue, and the young girl thundered down the hill towards her.
Standing, Queen Naala pulled a sturdier robe about her shoulders and came forward.
“What is it, my darling? Come to mother,” she said, kneeling down to scoop up her daughter.
The strangers were not yet in view.

Doc looked at his Umbaran friend, and just watched the chaos unfold with a sort of passive look that implied that he was both confused, angry, and apathetic. He just wanted to go home at this point. Doc turned to the woman, @[member="Simone"], who was beating on some poor schmuck. He stood around, and then just looked to the Umbaran, the Sith emperor, the Umbaran, and then his reflection in a mirror he had produced from one of his gear pouches.

"Frankly, this is just getting silly."

Orn'komad

Fast Talking Face Reader
Orn'komad was aware of three things. The first was that he was no longer in the city - just in a desert now. The second was that he was completely cotton-mouthed, despite the drink he had taken mere minutes ago.
The third was that there was a river not far away.

Without thinking, Orn headed towards the river. As a direct consequence, he was close to the edge of the crowd when the little girl ran away screaming. His maimed lek shifted indignantly. "C'mon, I'm not THAT ugly." His eyes shifted back to the river, she his feet returned to the task of bringing out to him.

In Umbris Potestas Est
Out of the sand, Circe chose to wander off, looking around the campsite. Sighing to herself, she wished that one of her companions had come along. Or at the least, that someone could tell her where she was and what the hell the date was. Looking over her person, there really wasn't any technology left on her. And it wasn't like she knew the stars well enough to tell which ones could be seen from what planets.

She was alone, and she had no idea what to do.

Assadar had been annoyed after being transported the first time. Now, having once again disappeared from one location and then appeared at another with no idea of how he'd gotten there, he was positively miffed.

"Look, all of you." he said angrily. "I don't know who you are, why the hell you think that we are somehow in the past, or what the hell you are arguing about, but from what you've said I'm going to assume that this is some sort of illusion that has been forced on each of us. At any rate, I don't subscribe to the theory that time travel can be achieved through any method, and even if it could the people here would certainly not be able to talk to you in our language and refer to this point in time by our dating system. Somebody is toying with us here, but we're not here for no reason. So could you all please shut the hell up and see if we can figure out how this has happened?
