Act III: Lockdown

Ultimatum was pulled towards the mighty figure. Taller than him it still did not strike fear into the droid. He simply allowed himself to be taken along. He wondered what would happen if he were to die here. He wondered if his connection in the HoloNet in the other galaxy had already believed him dead and had reactivated one of his bodies. They were simple thoughts, trivial compared to what this emperor was speaking of. However, Ultimatum was not interested in his attempts to make himself appear the good. Surely the World Razer in the sky was proof of the destruction he caused. That was the only way an organic would know how to project power, terror and control. They simply seemed to lose the ability to understand the concept of working to a greater good, making only those that forced their will to have control.

He listened as some of his allies, if they were enemies of this emperor then they were his allies, spoke up. Yes, they made good points. He would have preferred to leave this one alive, let him live without the power he had no doubt grown comfortable in. Most organics did not like that.

The mission was simple. Take the weapons, and make it to the Emperor. Set the city ablaze if you had to. The Revolution needed to happen, and nothing was going to slow it down. The weapons were in unmarked crates that were known to the few Marek trusted, and they would be dolled out. His Revolutionaries had a code and a phrase to link up to others, you might only recognize one or two each, but the rest? They’d fall into line, and they’d meet their fellow conspirators.

The job was simple. Get into Pipeworld and run to the Emperor’s base, destroy it, and him, save the galaxy.

He himself was already in the Pipes, just trying to orient himself. It was going to be a simple run, he hoped.

But who knew what they had in place.

I do not…

His fist slowly pulled back towards his chest. His other arm was raised, palm upwards. Orange sparks popped and crackled across the surface of his palm. They continued to dance as the rebels were inexorably pulled towards him.

...have to explain myself…

Several sparks bounced up off his palm. They formed small bright orbs that hung above his hand. Then they started to soon. A ring of bright spheres, each a manifestation of dark side energy. One for of his enemies.

...to the likes of you!

His fist pumped upwards and each of them would feel a sudden jolt that tried to fling them straight upwards. His open palm turned forwards and an orb shot out towards of them. If they hit armour they were burn though most materials. If they struck a shield they would likely short them. If they struck flesh the person struck would receive burns at the point of contact before the jolt of energy wracked them with pain.

"Look! We can talk about this!" Mark exclaimed as the electric looking orbs formed in front of them. "Its not too late to fix this! Let us help you! You could rule over this world in peace, and everyone could support you of their own will! It's never too-"
But, he was too late. He was flung into the air like a rag doll, then hit with a single glowing orb that threw him backwards into a wall. Something like force lightning coursed through his body, visible tendrils of electricity wrapped around him to anyone watching. He crashed to the floor, barely conscious. And the last thing he saw was the [member="Mirror Emperor"] sending the same orbs that hit him to attack the others. It seemed to be over. He tried to stand, but it didn't work. His energy drained, and blackness absorbed all light in his vision. Then, he went limp.

These Peacekeepers were jokes. At least to him and his Sith training, they were. He had no problem going through the pipeworld entrance as he tossed the last piece of peacekeeper armor off his body.

There were hundreds of people here, all in suspended animation.. Was this a prison? Or a graveyard? He pinged his recent robot friends location, [member="Ultimatum"] , and started to make his way towards him. On his way, he saw several faces he recognized. But, in his galaxy they were all good people. Did they fight against the empire here? Or were they just criminals?

He heard echoes of voices from up ahead, into the darkness. He slowly made his way, brandishing his twin blasters infront of him while checking his six every so often. He got close enough he could here a voice, a voice he didn't quite recognize. He saw crackles of electricity, and a hand holding them. Beyond he saw several faces, including Ultimatum. Some huge man in golden armor raised his hand up as one younger man kept attempting to talk with him.

He could rule? Dominion thought. Was this the emporer? suddenly everyone was lifted up and shocked, and the young boy fell down, passed out. It seemed like negotiations were a little passed due. He aimed his right blaster at the emporer's outstretched hand, and shot.

If there was one thing that kept true to the ways of the Force, it was the need for line of sight when you were trying to grasp at someone through the Force. True, some Masters had been able to ignore that requirement entirely and do whatever the hell they wanted to do anyway - but those Masters had never tried to interact with a woman wearing terentatek leather. It was a subtle effect around her, a certain... blur that made it harder to notice her through the Force, because her entire presence was washed around the room itself.

Makes it difficult to lock down on a target, yaknow? Point was, while the Emperor was monologuing and bloviating... Cerita was doing what Cerita does best. Mostly overreaching and making herself a nuisance; very unworthy of her, and all that.

Point was: the alchemist had been around. Technically she was still an apprentice, but her mentors had been the great ones. Rave, Valik, Dissero - those names weren't a joke at all. The other point was, her entire focus was spent on a singular, miniscule thing; the thin space between the soles of the Emperor's boots and the floor on which he stood. With little manipulations here and there, while the Emperor was throwing around huge amounts of energy and throwing pebbles in the pond (instead of listening to the ripples made), she attempted to fix his boots to the ground.

Making it impossible for him to move around. Hopefully.

Reliving a nightmare. That's what this was. Being frozen in place but still pulled about every which way was disturbing. It was almost as though her own body was working against her. The attempts to stall the inevitable by both Mark and herself were unsuccessful. She wanted to bring up her still ignited lightsaber in her hand in defence to block the ball of energy, but was unable to do so. It struck her in the torso, burning away her clothes and leaving burned flesh in it's wake. And as if that wasn't enough, dark electric force energy jolted her body, causing her to cry out and drop to the floor once she was released.

It was a nightmare relived, like the one that had caused the death of her husband. She was stronger now than she was back then, but so was this new opponent. Despair, sadness and fear of what was to come began to take hold, yet she still hoped that rescue was possible. Anything was possible.

"It's not going to work, Mark!" The Jedi Master would bark at the Padawan as the orbs would spawn in front of them. "This thing is too far gone! There's no going back now, he's not going to listen to any of us! We have to fight for what we believe in, or we'll die! I WISH diplomacy had a place here, but it doesn't!" He remarked as he watched the orbs. He wasn't going to go down without a fight, not after all that they had fought for!

And then he felt it, that jerk that sent them flying skyward. The orbs were sent flying at each one of them, and as he saw them advancing on [member="Lady Kay"] and [member="Mark Sage"] he clenched his teeth, deactivating his lightsaber and putting it away as his gaze focused on the orb heading straight for him.

It was powerful... No... The Emperor was powerful.... More powerful then anyone.... Or anything... That he could have even dreamed of. He honestly wasn't sure if he'd be able to win... If they would be able to win.. But as he felt the life force of the others fading away, it only motivated him to fight even more. No... He couldn't let the Emperor win. No matter the cost.

The Jedi Master would unleash a torrent of Electric Judgement from both hands. He wasn't holding back anymore.... He was fighting with every inch of his being as the light blue currents of electricity struck the orb in an attempt to push it back, and if even possible, destroy it or send it back at the Emperor. A part of him knew that his struggle was most likely useless. His attack would slow the orb down, of course, but for how long?

But... He wouldn't give up fighting. They had worked so hard, suffered through so much... How could he let Kay, and the others down now? But his strength was fading.. He was giving it everything he had, but he didn't know if it would at least be enough to survive...

Finally, the Jedi Master would put everything he had into one last burst of Electric Judgement.. "We will not let you enslave this WORLD!" Joshua would scream toward the Emperor as he would attack. Passion filled every ounce of his being, and carried in his voice. Passion for the cause they had been fighting for. Passion to the duty he felt he carried to protect both this galaxy and his own. Passion to his mission to defeat this Emperor, bring peace to this galaxy, and get the gang home. But he was fading out... And still, he would fight until his very last breath.

But he knew deep down that he couldn't hold out much longer... His strength was fading...

He'd expected something like this, as he was flung up into the air, weightless for a moment before the ball of energy came hurling towards him. It was pure dark side energy, sorrow, misery, pain, fear, but also anger, and anger fueled Craxus. Like [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] he would resist. But in a different way. With one hand he unleashed a torrent of force lightning at the ball of energy coming towards him, but Craxus knew good and well he could not stop it, not alone he couldn't, none of them could alone. So with his other hand, he unleashed a significantly more powerful torrent at the energy approaching Joshua, giving the Jedi Master at least some help against the oncoming darkness.

Why was he doing this?

He questioned himself endlessly within his mind as the amount of effort he put into saving himself dwindled and the effort put into aiding the Jedi who he barely knew outside of his name. Perhaps it was because he knew the man more than he thought, after all his mind was frayed and confused, broken in many aspects, memories came and went but his rage always remained. Unlike the Jedi who screamed in defiance Craxus's battle cry was a silent one, rage too intense to speak as his eyes locked onto the [member="Mirror Emperor"]. One of the eyes was red, the dark side having long since corrupted it with rage, but the other oddly enough, was brown, as normal as any other. Whoever laid behind the mask was a man of many contradictions and an uncertain identity, even to himself, but he didn't need to know who he was, all that mattered was destroying the dark side.

He knew [member="Lady Kay"], and [member="Mark Sage"] had fallen, but perhaps they would rise up again to continue the fight. Perhaps [member="Ultimatum"] would, or [member="A. Dominion"] or [member="Cerita Sarova"], perhaps even [member="Marek Starchaser"] wherever he was. The towering being before them had landed the first blow, yes, but the fight had just begun. As Craxus put the last of his strength he could muster into the orb moving towards Josh, the one towards him sped forward, slamming into him and bringing him to the ground violently.

The energy burned through his robes and into the armor underneath, holes boring through as he energy began to burn his skin. For at least the moment, Craxus went limp, his eyes closing as blackness seemed to flood his vision. But he was not dead yet.

Sparks flew from the back of his gauntlet as it was struck by a blaster bolt. He had let his focus on the barrier around him slip, feeling that he had control over all those who stood before him. It had been a mistake. He started to turn towards the new threat, but found the base of his boots had been melded to to the metal floor beneath. His arms windmilled as he lost balance and for just a moment the Emperor seemed mortal.

Then he froze like a statue. One arm snapped out towards Joshua as green lightning crackled and sparked across the space between them. The tips of the green bolts dragged across the shimmering barrier that surrounded the Emperor. Searching, probing. The barrier faded. All the arcs of lightning suddenly terminated in the palm of the Emperor’s outstretched hand. There was a bright white glow from his palm as he tried to absorb it all. The Emperor called out in rage as sparks flew from the armour plates all across his left arm.

When the barrage abated he stood stock still for a moment. The back of his right hand was blackened from the blaster bolt, and the entire of his left arm smouldered. There was the sound of leather being ripped and the Emperor stepped out of his boots. His feet grey skinned feet were not human.

His left arm dropped to his side, shaking as it went. His right arm came up, wrapping [member="Mark Sage"] 's limp form in a telekinetic grip. Swinging about on the spot, the Emperor tossed the human at [member="A. Dominion"]

Then that helmed head turned ever so slowly back towards DragonsFlame. The Emperor stalked towards him. The others were all free of his grip for the time being. His ire was now directed solely on the individual who had dared to throw lightning at him.

On the surface districts bright beams of white light descended from the World Razer. They swept slowly across the ground. Wherever they touched a sentient creature the light beam would pulse. Whatever it had touched would collapse, quite dead.

Total blackness. There was nothing else except blackness and a ringing noise that hung persistently in the void.

"Am I dead?"

Nothing for a moment. Then, greyness appeared that began swirling around, like movement just out of sight in a heavy fog.

"Maybe not yet."

Still nothing.

"Not dead yet. Then, what am I seeing?"

Then, the fog swirled more and more, forming the image around him: a familiar place, yet not quite. A forest, leaves floating to the ground around him every once in a while. He ran back and forth through the woodland happily, though not controlling his own movements. He felt smaller and more clumsy than usual, almost like a child. A gentle voice called his name from somewhere behind him. He turned around to meet it, and saw a woman standing up the hill, again familiar, but not. He couldn't make out anything of the face but long, dark brown hair. She stood in a steel grey tunic, partially covered by the grey-brown cloak she wore over it. Her belt held a metallic silver object, which hung from her hip. He felt himself run clumsily toward her outstretched arms, but before he got there to see her face, he was flashing through images and feelings (memories?), flashing at him nearly too fast to comprehend. A family with the woman, a man in a grey and green tunic, and a small boy with messy brown hair, being hurried into a ship of some sort and taking off, then storm clouds and lightning and thunder, fear and cold, and all the while, flashes of an entire planet breaking apart. A lightning strike and a powerful rumble of thunder ended it all. Eerily, the flash of light partially uncovered a face shrouded in darkness: one with accusing amber eyes.

Then, all fell back to blackness, except for one last image: the World Razer descending upon the planet his body laid limp on, ready to tear it apart like the one in his vision. Mark knew what he had to do.

Mark's eyes snapped open. He laid on his side, at the feet of [member="A. Dominion"].

Out of sight and out of mind of the [member="Mirror Emperor"], he at least had the element of surprise on his side. Everyone who couldn't sense his life energy probably thought he'd been killed with the initial attack. He wasn't fully sure what'd happened to create that vision, but it at least gave him a tactical advantage. He thought he could see Master Dragonsflame saying something to the Emperor. He looked determined to finish this, but Mark could only barely make out his words as he quickly began to recover. He slowly reached toward his head and felt that it was bleeding, luckily not too heavily, but enough to hurt. The pain continually interrupted his thoughts as he tried to plan how to beat or at least distract the dark lord. It was clear now that talking would do no good against someone so far gone. Soon, he came to a conclusion that he didn't necessarily like, but realized there was no other choice besides running like a coward. And though he got nervous sometimes (Maybe a little too much in the eyes of those who knew him), he was no coward.

There was only one option now. Make a head on attack and hope to catch the Emperor off guard. And, don't die.

He focused in all the Force energy he could muster. Then, wincing, he pushed himself to stand up. He unclipped his lightsaber from his belt, and shed his cloak. It was time.

"Emperor!", he called, hoping to gain the thing's attention, maybe even give Master Dragonsflame an opening. Mark saw that the Emperor was clearly not human with the grey toned feet that had emerged when it apparently had to leave its boots behind during his bout of unconsciousness.

"I want you to know something, I tried. I tried to reach out to you. I tried to show mercy, but, you obviously don't know or care for mercy. I don't know what you hope to achieve by killing us if this planet is going down anyways, but that doesn't really matter now because you are a monster! That is the role you seem so determined to play. So now, I must play mine. You are a monster, and I am a Jedi. But, I'm more than that. I am not a Master. I am not even a Knight. I am not strong. I'm not the bravest man here. But, I'm no coward. No. I am Mark, and the Force is my ally. So, come on then. If you're so powerful, taking me shouldn't be very difficult."

The dark emerald blade of his lightsaber emerged with a snap, hiss! He stood for a moment, listening to the humming blade, then, harnessing the energy of all he held dear, Mark strode forward to meet the Emperor for the final time.

Ultimatum was free, his immediate concern was the electrical damage that had melted almost clean through his armor of his chassis. he had taken significant damage to his internal component frame. Really the good news was that the electricity had traveled along the framework towards the ground, instead of through his parts. It had been within centimeters of his central control cluster, if damaged or destroyed would be a real problem to any continued functioning. Now though he was no longer immobilized and his first action was to bring his blaster up to aim at the somewhat hurt Emperor. He saw [member="Mark Sage"] say something, but Ultimatum had sustained enough damage that his systems were shutting down the considered unnecessary and his audio receptors were one of those.

His finger came off the trigger though, he looked around to find all the others. Some were more hurt than others. That other droid was down, it appeared dead. Whatever it would have had seemed to be flimsy enough that the electrical blast had burned clean through him. Ultimatum had a short window in which to do anything about that. His immediate response was to go to the HoloNet. His mind half entered the place while the rest of him focused back to the Emperor. His position was not very great, he was now in a half kneeling position and he could not raise the blaster higher than his knee. That meant if he had to fire it would be inaccurate and possibly hit someone else. He did not want that. For the time being he began calculating the angle and best position to fire at.

Meanwhile the other part of his mind was roaming the HoloNet, looking for that presence he had felt before. It was not difficult to find it. The entity seemed to be without any particular control and appeared to be writhing. Ultimatum had decided that the droid had been this presence, perhaps this galaxy's version of himself. He could tell that the programming between the two of them were quite different, this entity's consciousness seemed to be shared with others somewhere else. Right now he could not follow these tendrils to their limit. This droid did not have the ability that he did to survive within the HoloNet, that was obvious. The mind seemed to be dying, if a droid could do that. At the very least it was degrading and Ultimatum did not have time to really find a suitable body for the mind. Within a moment he had set up a connection with his backup computers inside his body, the ones that would allow him to continue to function should something happen to his main processors. With a few thoughts he was able to transfer information to the entity about the connection and where to go. He led the thing to that point and sent the presence into his own body. They were sharing now. Ultimatum could not access those computers, but neither could the other intelligence access his body's control. Ultimatum would work on getting this AI a new body as soon as the time was available.

No matter what came at him, he would fight back twice as hard. His name was Joshua Philip DragonsFlame... He was the son of two Jedi Masters - Philip and Serena DragonsFlame, who dedicated their lives to one thing, and that was bringing peace to the galaxy. And that was a pledge that he too had taken. He had fought Sith Lords, he had fought against powerful entities, powerful organizations. He had fought in wars, he had won and lost battles. He had been at the top of the world, and then he had been knocked right back down to the bottom.

But this... This seemed to eclipse it all. His dedication to his duty, even in a galaxy not his own, had led him to this moment. He fought, but for a moment... He started to think he couldn't win. He couldn't hold on.... But he was snapped out of his stupor the moment that [member="Craxus"] had acted. He noted the man, with a dark presence to him, fighting to protect him more then he was protecting himself.

But why?

He could feel a familiar presence from the man... But he didn't know from where. What about this man's presence was so familiar? Why would he fight to save him, instead of himself? And then he was hit... And he was down. But that move alone gave him strength. It motivated him. It spurred him on. He had to fight. He had to continue to fight against this, or all they had sacrificed would be lost. All the pain... All the suffering, all the blood, sweat and tears... The betrayal... All of this would be for nothing if he could not keep fighting.

It was almost as though a second wind had kicked in, the Jedi Master would let out a scream from exerting the effort, fighting with all his will, all his being, for one purpose and that was to keep going. To keep fighting. And all of a sudden... Everything changed.

Something struck the Emperor. Whatever it was, it freed the group from his gravitational power. The Jedi Master would drop to the ground, landing on his feet. He watched as this Emperor would step out of his boots... And it was made clear to him, he was no human. He was not one of their kind, turned to corruption.. He was a monster. A monster that knew no diplomacy.... Only darkness. Only greed. Only rage. Only a wish for power, for control.

And once again, he knew... This was not a galaxy of peace, but of chaos under another name.

The [member="Mirror Emperor"] would begin to advance on him after he had thrown [member="Mark Sage"] to the side. The Jedi Master would look the Emperor dead in what would be his helmeted eyes, walking toward him, drawing and igniting the borrowed blue-bladed lightsaber. He wished he had both of the ones he owned right now. He knew he was going to need both.

The Emperor was solely focused on him.... And while many others may quiver in their boots at the thought of that... Josh had no fear. He didn't know if he was going to die.... Honestly, he didn't care. What concerned him was bringing peace to this galaxy... And stopping The Mirror Emperor before he could take over theirs as well. His gaze moved for a moment toward the light in the distance that was piercing the planet.... Destroying all in it's wake. It would find them soon, he was sure. Perhaps it would kill them all.

The Jedi let out a resigned sigh.... And for a moment, a smile crossed his lips. If he was going to die, he would do so while saving a galaxy that, while it might not be his... He knew many lived in and cared about. He may not be there anymore to protect his own galaxy... But to make a difference somewhere.... That made him happy.

As he stepped toward The Emperor, the Jedi would chuckle lightly as he brandished the brimming blue blade. "You know... I know a thing or two about being a leader. I know what it's like to have power. I know what it's like to face the temptations that come with it. But while it was short lived, I never strayed from handling business the way it should be handled. I did what was best for the people... Even if it wasn't what was best for me. You and I.... We are two sides of the same coin. Two opposing sides. You live to control, to rule as you wish it.... I fight for freedom. For peace. I envision a world where nobody has to fear a dictatorship! A world where people can have free will, and not be forced to bend to the will of someone who's only looking out for himself! I have suffered, I have been hurt, I have watched as everyone I loved died right in front of me!"

His expression grew fierce. "But I NEVER strayed from my goal, NEVER betrayed my morals because I knew that I couldn't do this job right if I didn't do it the way I always intended to from the beginning. But now..." He began, smirking just a little.

".... It's all come to this."

"You're strong, Emperor. I'll give you that. I've fought a great many men, I've fought Sith Lords that would make the hairs on a man's neck jerk up just by uttering their names. But you.... You just might be the strongest opponent I've ever faced in my entire life. If things were different, I would have loved to see a man of your ability in the Jedi Order.... But those circumstances aren't possible, are they? I've accepted by now that diplomacy is no longer an option. Either you die here, I die here, or The World Razer takes us both. I've accepted the fact that I very well could die here... Either by the World Razer, or your hand. But the thing is... If I die, I'm taking you with me. My name is Josh. I'm a Jedi Master. And this world may not be my own, but I will protect it as though it were!" The Jedi barked as he would continue to step toward his opponent, getting into a dueling stance.

"Whether I live, or I die... I will fight until my last breath, I refuse to go down until this galaxy FINALLY has peace!" The Jedi would yell at the Emperor as he would prepare for the fight of his life. And then another man, Mark Sage, would get to his feet and step forward. Josh honestly figured he should have attacked by surprise, but instead decided to speak and prepare to meet his opponent. But Josh couldn't help but smile...

"You know, there's one thing about Jedi that you keep forgetting, Emperor! We're never alone!" Josh would bark as he would prepare to attack. "You can try to kill us, but we are one thing, and that is a FAMILY! And you will NEVER tear that family apart!" The Jedi Master would cry out as he would finally begin the duel by attacking first, quickly aiming a strike toward the shoulder of the Emperor.

The final battle had begun.

Dominion could have been ready for a lot of things. But getting somebody thrown at him? It seemed obvious in hindsight, but the Sith agent was thrown back as [member="Mark Sage"] 's body slammed into him. He caught the young man to stop him from hitting his head on the hard ground, but slammed into the ground in his place. There was so much force that his handguns lay on the ground, shoved from his grasp. The back of his helmet slammed against the metal floor, and something broke. His whole vision went away, just blackness.

He pried one arm from under the unconscious Jedi to remove his helmet. Something he normally would never do in the presence of people he didn't trust completely. But he didn't have a choice. After he could finally see again, he got himself off of the ground, laying Mark at his feet. Dominion's armor had protected him against just about everything. He had no time to get his guns. Swinging his rifle around, he took a few steps back before kneeling down on one knee, aiming down the scope at the emperor.

He was honestly surprised at the two Jedi as they got back up after such a devastating attack, advancing on both sides with blades drawn. They talked... of peace. That the Emperor was a monster and evil. Honestly, the giant monster of a man in the shining armor reminded him of all the Sith he knew. Except Vaulkhar. That was the one Sith that wasn't like the others. And he had left, seeking the lightside. Was...

Was Dominion fighting for the wrong side? Peace to him was a fools notion. There would always be people who go outside the laws. Some for foolish reasons, some because they had no choice because the laws were flawed. But the Jedi, were they really a family like this Jedi said?...The Emperor was a monster. Just like the Sith....

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend. So I ask to join in on this family gathering, if you'll have me!" He called from the darkness to the Jedi, the laser red sight shining on the head of the Emperor.

“Well, now that we've been formally introduced…” The Emperor said decisively. He gave a mocking half-bow to both Joshua and Mark.

The Jedi Master launched himself at the Emperor, swinging his bright blue blade. It slammed into the iridescent barrier surrounding him, sending ripples across its surface. Yet under that onslaught the barrier started to distort. The area around the blade caved back in on itself and the blade cut deep into the armour around his left shoulder. A myriad of colour sparks were sent rolling across the floor in all directions.

The Emperor raised his right hand, palm forwards. The air before it shimmered for a moment and then a might telekinetic wave expanded outwards at great speed. It had enough force behind it to send the arrogant Jedi Master who dared stand before him flying, potentially even breaking some bones.

Then the Emperor turned on sage. “I came here because I hoped she would be with you, or perhaps in the hope you would know where she is. I was wrong. It seems history will repeat itself. I will build and she will destroy. I will take her daughter back, I suppose,” he said as he waved to prisoner 626. “Bait the trap and see if she has any willing lackeys left.”

His left arm hung limp at his side now. His right hand waved towards Mark dismissively and a sheet of metal detached from the pipe wall to fly towards him. The Emperor didn't even wait to see what would happen. Instead he turned back towards Joshua again. Another series of orbs appeared in his hand. Like many despots before him, the Emperor was focused on what he perceived to be the greatest threat.

Rage. Rage was a hell of an anesthetic. His eyes snapped open underneath the mask, the dark side corrupted one practically growing as he struggled to his feet. Instantly he snapped his hand out, slamming the sheet metal heading for [member="Mark Sage"] with a blast of telekinetic energy and knocking it off course and away from the padawan. Suddenly his gaze turned back to the [member="Mirror Emperor"] and Craxus called the saber to his hands, and now he didn't fight the urge, the blade flipped into a reverse grip and ignited with a snap-hiss, the blade emitting was crimson like those carried by his foes, after all he had taken it from one, as a trophy.

Now it was his turn to attack. As [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] launched his own attack and the massive dark sider retaliated with a telekinetic wave, Craxus saw an opening. Coming in from the left at immense speed he leapt up and blasted the Emperor with a wave of telekinetic energy then shot forward and slashed at the massive figure's already injured arm. Unlike DragonsFlame who was fighting for freedom and liberation of this universe, Craxus was fueled by an unyielding desire for revenge and to see the death of the monster before him.

"Do you bleed?" Craxus questioned, the modulated voice barely hinting at the level of rage practically radiating from the man. He may have said we, but Craxus meant himself, the drive to kill the Sith and Dark Siders had consumed him some time ago, and it made him see no alternative other than him killing this thing. It would die, like all the rest. Would it be difficult? Undoubtedly. But he felt no doubt that the towering ruler of this new dimension would come tumbling down.

He wondered that if in all of this, if the figure had even slightly afraid, felt fear in his veins, perhaps even slightly. If he hadn't yet, he would.

"You will."

During the fighting Kay had spent her time laying there, looking almost dead. She was trying to control the pain, focusing her energy on it and healing a bit if the damage, though her concentration wasn't strong enough to heal herself even half way. All that she could do was enable herself to move some without having to gasp for breath.

She watched the trio of men as they attacked valiantly, even though the odds were against them. Such bravery. Kay's borrowed lightsaber was still ignited and in her hand. From her position on the floor she threw it as one would a boomarang, causing it to spin parallel to the ground towards the Emperor's exposed, yet perhaps shielded, grey ankles. Hopefully he wasn't expecting such an attack.

Final Showdown Music: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=k5XPxWx8dlM( I went through like 5 of these to find the right one)

The fight was on. Now three versus one, the trio of Jedi and Sith alike still seemed outgunned. The Emperor was throwing Master Dragonsflame backwards now. Mark wished so badly to run and help, but to do so could cost them both Josh's life and everyone else's on the planet. Mark made ready to charge in with his own surprise attack while the [member="Mirror Emperor"] wasn't looking, but the Emperor had noticed him now. He mentioned again this "She" and the "Daughter", as well as a trap.

Mark was unsure how to respond, except with, "Well, you'll find that we're full of surprises!"

The Emperor kept his attention on him for a moment longer to throw a piece of sheet metal at him from the wall. The emperor then ignored him once again, going for what he assumed to be the biggest threat, and rightly so. Mark in the meantime had a huge piece of metal flying toward him to deal with, and he jumped high into the air to avoid it. But, instead of seeing it simply pass under him, he saw it fly off in another direction. Another had joined the fight: a dark Jedi.

"Well," he thought, "we need all the help we can get."

He landed softly on the ground near the [member="Mirror Emperor"] and Master Dragonsflame. Reactivating the blade of his lightsaber with a hiss, which he'd turned off while avoiding the flying projectile, Mark noticed that everything was getting continually darker. The World Razer was getting closer.

With the Emperor once again distracted, Mark made a charge from behind, lightsaber at the ready, it's glow lighting half his face in green hues. Realizing attacking at a distance hadn't been working for anyone, Nark made leap to land directly on top of the emperor's massive golden suit of armor for a more close range approach. As he made his jump, he noticed the glow of another lightsaber spin under him and toward the emperor's feet. Yet another combatant had joined the fray. Looking behind him as he jumped, he saw it was [member="Lady Kay"]. Pairing his own attack with hers would help make both more successful, and so watched as the lightsaber ran its course towards the thing's grey feet. Once it was farther distracted by the attack, his jump would be timed to land on him for a more direct form of attack.

OOC: Don't finish this fight without me! I'll be busy until around 5:00 PST, then I'll be back home and I can reply. Sorry.
