"You know what they say," Sasha said, "Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see," Sasha made direct eye contact with deadly [member="Siobhan Kerrigan"]. "You can fill volumes with the information not reported in news and tabloids." Sasha smiled a mischievous smile, shrugged and nodded. "Give me two seconds," she said ripping at the slinky dress she was wearing revealing the lithe form of her legs. She used the scraps of her gown to tie several blaster power backs to her body and the Kalesh Mark 47 she held. Then the woman walked to the Solar Ionization Cannon, checked the charge and secured her bypass that she had hastily made earlier. "My father made sure I knew how to take care of myself. I am not the helpless damsel the media would have you believe."
She tapped the droid a few times earning herself an aggravated toot in reply. "Yeah well you're better at moving things around than me," Sasha argued with the droid. "Besides we both know you want to blow something up." The droid tooted in the affirmative "Then follow me," blaster in hand she walked from the convention center down an alley toward the back. The small droid followed hauling the weapon behind it. "I hope this is legal," she thought aloud. Not that illegal things weren't fun too...
It took several minutes to navigate the streets in a way that both women were sure wouldn't attract undue attention or alert the belligerents to their presence. Setting up the cannon she laughed and tapped the droid twice on its domed head. "You got it Droid," she replied to its enthusiastic tooting.
The beam from the laser struck the door hard in a brilliant flash of golden yellow. Metal melted and evaporated under the beams might super-heating the door until it burned white hot. As quickly as the beam appeared it vanished leaving only the smoking hole in the armored door. "A good test," Sasha said as the door fell backward off its hinges. "A very good test."
She moved her way up tot he smokey building and saw the door was still red hot, the air doing a poor job to cool the metal. "Mind your footing..." she said leaping over the door and rolling up against a nearby wall, weapon in hand and prepared to engage. "They won't take long to realize we're coming in the back."
