Ain't Afraid of No Ghost

[Orihime Ike]

Rhen Var was a fun place to work, they had been finding things and from the ancient groups that had been throughout the galaxy. Her mothers work on some of the things had led to them discovering secrets from the order of the terrible gaze. There were rumors and legends of the terrible things they had done throughout the galaxy and within the order itself to the padawans learning with them. She had herself been finding things to do with the force now discovering a few tricks as well as her own things. She was looking at some of the pictures from the padawan expedition they had been doing and getting what researchers she could to analyze the ore they had found on the planet.

"So what do we have new today to discover?" She asked it to the droid with her and all of the things that were there. The researcher with her standing at the ready and presenting some of the bigger things while he was holding up some prismatic crystals that were large. The size of a volleyball for them to use and spoke. "We have been working to discover what they are for, some of the orders caches had them but we haven't been able to find much else besides they share similarities to the ancient crystals on Korriban. We're detecting the same properties might be possible."

She scratched her head a little thinking about it. "The crystals on Korriban are the ones the dark lords used to capture souls correct?" She was looking at it and it was an interesting idea.. something she wasn't totally sure about but they had when she was little dealt with taung ghosts inhabiting hammers so... she was kind of used to it. "Yes they are and given the information we have from disrupting spirits this could prove a more valuable alternative with some of our equipment." Oh that was sounding like something she could wrap her head around and rubbing her hands together.

"Alright then, lets experiment with them, maybe we can find a way to use these to trap darkside spirits and slowly neutralize them by combining with the solari crystals. Same way we made the force light blasters." The researcher was looking at her for a moment but... it wasn't something he was saying no to while bringing up a screen and running some of the numbers. "It might be possible with a large enough chunk of crystal and some solari weaved throughout it. We could pull darkside spirits into it and safely keep them contained behind the wall of lightside energy it creates."

THere we go, ow they were thinking with science... or force hoodoo.... or maybe some voodoo.... Very different all three of them while she was looking over the crystal now. Withdrawing one of the Tora'Yor gloves to get the measurements for the size they would need to test it out. getting some of the golden crystals for them to work with and the press they could work with to make sure this would be something smooth and flawless in their hands. The padawan had her mothers notes and all of their researchers before they were leaning back and letting the machine to its work.

The hours were ticking by for the different things to be done. She was looking at the glove and how they were working on the metal itself. All of the new enhancements they had going into some of the things like making the production of the glove more open. If they could make more and get more for the jedi to use then well they could provide them with a few bigger and stronger pieces of equipment. THey had already been doing it with the likes of the sigil finally completing that lengthy process of making it the ultimate symbol of the lightside.

THe machine continued to work on many of the things with the full attention of a couple of things until it beeped indicating that the process and work on it was done. Orihime was waiting with anticipation for it as she spied a few of the things whisps of steam with the small pod opening. The prismatic crystal had a golden gold and tinge to it while she was working not to just touch it yet. THey didn't have a soul to test it on but she was looking at some of the things with her attention on the remnant blaster she had to work with. The spirit disruption abilities were there.

She looked at the researcher as he touched the gemstone and lifted it up to the light letting the golden aura of it alongside the prismatic outer coating. A small look while setting it into the palm of the glove with a small modification here or there to tighten it up so the gem was secured while he presented it to the padawan. "Here it should work but without testing it on spirits we will be guessing. My advice would be maybe mess around in the tombs and you mgiht find one such things as a minor spirit you could encounter.

She was looking at him and sliding the bands of the glove on her hand she felt the tips go on and they were still cold metal. She looked down at the crystal and there were the other ones that could be used as well. THe ones they were working on was a shielding and directional focusing crystal. She knew the value that could come from those and the gemstone or medical crystals could come in handy for all the different things. With this for handling souls she could think of a few other things they might be needed but creating power gems was something for other beings.

The padawan rose up and was walking now into the caves, with all of the work they had been doing getting secured sections for ruins and doors was an important task. She could build up a few of the parts with most of her attention as she explored going to the sensations in the force. Several more hours of exploring and she was feeling like this was a lost cause until there was something. A clammy feeling along her skin as she was moving to work with all of it turning her attention to the bigger sections. She could see whisps of distorted energy while holding the glove out.

Exposing her palm and the feeling in the pit of her stomach came from the dark sensation of it. A lot of bad things had happened here and she was looking at the more deadly and dangerous. A scream going through the cave and echoing while she moved reaching out to try and find it with the force until it was there. Pale torso as she was moving with a lot of her attention on it before she rolled under it while focusing the force energies into the bands and crystal letting it light up and glow before she felt something in her palm with the spirit in the tomb coming into her hand.

The sensation of it being there was strange and she could feel it while moving with most of her attention on some of the things. Nearly twelve hours had passed since she entered the tombs and she was for the most part tired while walking over some of the things. Letting her attention go to the sounds of the machines when she returned working on some of the things while taking off the glove and seeing they were pressing and shaping the bands to make more of the gloves for all of the jedi they could to use. The crystal weave being loomed into it for better access to the force.

Orihime was working with some of the other things there while her attention was with the researcher and she spoke. "Well it worked for the most part... but we might need to test it a few more times in the field. I got lucky and have a mother who taught me how to do things. Other jedi might not have the same luck." She was looking over some of the things there. All of the ones were looking over some of the things as manufacturing was coming out nicely before she leaned back taking the gemstone out of the center of the glove.
