Her starfighter pumped back and forth in the turbulent winds. The Geisha, a Fanblade series starfighter from Geonosis, was very much subject to the winds. Of course, under the young woman's control it flew fine. Xenia had long since mastered the art of piloting, and felt just as safe in the cockpit as she did on her own two feet. There was something about the thrill, different without being better or worse, than fighting with your own body. Even so, she quickly found her landing zone. A series of scanning beeps sound from within the pilot's space, and a line of code came through to her systems. Landing codes, and permissions, standard for landing on any foreign planet. Inputing her information, perfectly legal paperwork, she was cleared, and finished the process.

It wasn't just raining. It was pouring. Rain spat from the skies like Xenia had never seen, and hammered against the glass of her spherical holdings. The entire starfighter folded into place before her own hatch was opened, silent and smooth. Except, there was nothing all too graceful thereafter. As the glass coverings opened, the rain began to shoot at her instead, all of a sudden a prime target to the weather's weapon. She scrambled, as best she could, out of the seat and slid down onto the durasteel maze around her. Slick floors the likes of which she had not expected caught her off guard, and down she went. The splash was more of a thud, really, when she hit hard on her side. Instantly, it was a mad dash, trying to get back into place, and conduct herself. Though, there was no shortage of under-the-breath-swearing, you can be sure of that.

When she was ready, the hatch to her starfighter closed, and she began a quick-but-careful walk towards the closest entrance. She was told that the employers were a part of high society on this distant world, but she wasn't given much more than that. Even so, the rewards listed there were more than enough to entertain. Unlike most bounty hunters, Xenia had full access to most anyone she pleased, her political connections at work there. As the daughter of a now deceased senator, and queen, hailing in Naboo, she had been brought up in a world of overflowing wealth and access. It would be a shame not to put it all to use.

The graceful doors opened as she entered the spaceport's entrance. Unlike the craftsmanship on most planets, everything here was intricate. Smooth, and rounded. Moved with silent, entrancing lines of architecture. And the people were no different. Tall and elegant, a slow walking speed which easily kept up with a human's shorter paces. Their garb, silks and flowing materials, washed out behind them as they moved, massive eyes studying the incoming bounty hunter. Looking through her, it seemed, especially as she was the only human among them; in fact, there was no variety here. As if she had been previously alerted, a strangely beautiful looking female Kaminoan rounded the corner, and gestured a greeting to Xenia. The now wet human shrugged a greeting of similar nature, and began walking over, ignoring the looks she received. Upon reaching proximity, the alien introduced herself with a kind bow at the neck.

"Greetings, Lady Xenia, my name is Fee'cho. I'll be taking you to Sozo'ka."
"Very much obliged," Xenia offered in response, with an artificial, forced smile.
"Right this way then, please," and they were off.

She had been here before. She knew the drill. Originally, she had actually come here on some kind of minor political business. At least, of a certain kind. She was after all a noble of Naboo, a peaceful and respected planet by most. Though, after proving herself more than useful in what little interaction she did have with the higher officials, she had begun to reveal herself as a bounty hunter. Of course, it was of little risk, seeing as the planet was forced to work with bounty hunters and mercenary type individuals; she was never worried that they'd spread rumors, or harm her reputation back in the home worlds. Before long, her tour of the spaceport ended, and she was delivered to another office space, completely encapsulated in paper white durasteel. Fee'cho left without awaiting dismissal, and the room was left to her and the male before her. Also of the Kaminoan species.

"Greetings, Xenia of Naboo, how were your travels here?"
"Yeah, to you too Sozo'ka, how's your wife, and kids," Xenia shot with a touch of sarcasm.
"Right," he cleared his throat, "straight to business then, as always... such manners..."
"I wanna know about the target, you were being very vague with your... messages, which--" she began.
"I knew you'd get on me about leaving those--" The Kaminoan said, as if with humor.
"You can't just," Xenia paused to stare, "leave bounties on my public line..."

There was a refreshing break of silence for a moment, and then they began anew, this time speaking of their target. At least, Sozo'ka was speaking. "As you know from, well, previous experiences," he said as if the subject was not to be taken lightly, "we can be made to work with some real pieces of work. Well, this time, it's been no different." The Kaminoan offered Xenia a small chip, something she could insert within her own comlink and upload whatever information was stored therein. In this case, it was probably information about the target. "So, what, this' another bounty hunter," Xenia questioned, wanting to just get to the point. "Not likely, he was supplying us with a newly developed chemical, something we were testing on prototype cloning methods. It was a rather small organization, honestly, and the chemical had not really accomplished that which we hoped. So we refused a prolonged business engagement, and our mistake was giving our client the benefit of the doubt when it came to trust." The human gave the alien a look which begged for something she could use.

"Well, acting on our principles of professional business, we gave notice to our client. Notice of a termination of our contract, that is. Once every few days we would send collectors to bring the product back to Kamino, you see our client is at a rather extreme distance, all of the way on Coruscant." He stopped, looked back to Xenia to check that she was still paying attention, and she was. "In our last visit, however, Victus Ord, this... client... took our men hostage. Apparently, he has a small operation of his own, and enough man power to pull something like this off. It's nothing too serious, but something worth the use of a bounty hunter. You see, as it stands, Victus has our money, all of his product, and three of my men, and he's demanding that we continue to honor the provisional contract." Xenia cut in, "so you want me to deal with this guy, yeah? What's the big deal?" Her employer answered. "Well, yes, he certainly needs to be dealt with, though I warn you, he'll likely not be alone often. He's expecting another shipment of pay in three days. I've put the coordinates to his base of operations, on Coruscant, on your comlink. The file should also be compatible with your starfighter's navi-systems."

Xenia pushed away from the man, and circled around the room. "Alright then, three days, anything else I should know?" The Kaminoan took a second to think, and then jumped back at her with an obvious 'yes.' "Oh, yes, there is something. It seems that Victus has not only been a pain for us, however. There are numerous other bounties out for his death, and make no mistake, your mission, too, is a kill mission." Xenia nodded, she understood that already. "Point is, it's likely that you'll be in strict competition with others attempting to claim the money first. Along with our own bounty offer, there are numerous others of similar reward, look out for competitors."

Alright, that was all she needed for the moment...

OOC: Had fun setting this up. The underlined text in the above section is the information Xenia was given going into this; as a reference for about how much we know about our target, Victus. I also have information summaries of how the bounty would show up to anyone searching it on the halo-net. Pm me if you have any questions, we're essentially just both starting the same mission from different points, whatever point you want. From whatever employer you wish, and we'll meet that way. Go!

Bounty Name: Victus Ord; no aliases.
Contractor: Various men and women of note, including a political higher up in the Kaminoan cloning industry. Numerous politicians from backwater worlds put considerable money up for the man, more than likely out of catching his illegal business on their territories.
Bounty Price: Low, 20,000 credits; high, 40,000 credits.
Condition: All but Kamino asked for the man to be detained and taken alive. This means that Xenia's mission is to terminate the man, while anyone else's will be to detain him, alive.
Additional Info: Victus is a known drug worker, dealing in high profit drugs. A large smuggling operation, built on the man's various 'special' products. Chemicals said to be produced at great quality, by great chemists. The claims had been grand enough to catch Kamino's attention at a minor degree, though most of it was nothing more than talk, come to find.
Location: Coruscant; lower levels.

Nar Shaddaa

Lot of people didn't like Nar Shaddaa. They had their reasons. Chaff, however, loved it. It was a world where the only rule of law was kill or be killed. That was basically his life philosophy. The only problem he ever had with it was the slugs, AKA the Hutt Cartel, and their turf had been eaten by the Black Suns, so ya, he had no problem with the place. Sure, a few of the slugs still operated independently, but what could ya do? Well, you could kill em, of course, and Chaff had killed a few. But he had better things to do then commit pointless kills. He was a bounty hunter, his time was valuable, he couldn't be wasting too much of it doing unpaid jobs. He wasn't a charity, after all. Now he sat on his ship on a Nar Shaddaa lading pad, hearing his next job.

"His name is Victus. Big time drug dealer. He's gone back on a deal we had set up. Lots of creds down the drain. He's become a liability. We want him whacked."

Personally, Chaff didn't care who the guy was. He could be a saint, or scum of the galaxy. It was all the same to him. He didn't get wrapped up in politics or gang affiliation of any of that. he was a freelance bounty hunter. Anyone's money was as good as the next. Even with that contract he just signed with that Nova PMC, that hadn't changed.

"How much?" Chaff asked.

"How's 40k sound?"

"Sounds like you got a deal. Where is he?"

"He's on Corurscant. We'll sent you the last known location. From there, that's your problem."

"Ya, ya, have the money ready for me." he hung up and started up the ship, and left for Coruscant.

Intergalactic Space:
Aboard Gabriel's Ship:

Gabriel was seated in the pilot seat of his craft, a Besuliik starfighter as he made his way towards Coruscant with hyperdrives burning at full force. The moment he entered Coruscant's space he was greeted to a familiar voice on the other end of the radio, the voice spoke Galactic Basic, but with a heavy Rodian accent. "G, nice to see your ship here again." The voice crackled through the radio. "Haha, long time since I ain't heard from ya Siero." He chuckled. "Way, way too long. Meet me at the spaceport, I got somethin' for ya." The Rodian voice continued before signing off. He shrugged and set course towards Coruscant's massive spaceport, wondering what an old bounty contact had in store for him. Siero was an old friend, from way back when he started playing around with the whole Bounty Hunter / Mercenary schtick.

Coruscant:

The Besuliik starfighter entered Coruscant's hustling and bustling atmosphere the night illuminated by the lights inside the many skyscrapers and high-rising buildings which gave it such an emblematic look.

The landing gear deployed with a hiss as the starfighter touched down on the landing pad, with Gabriel exiting after a couple of minutes, and as promised. There Siero was, wearing an expensive suit and what looked like a very luxurious watch, this was merely a disguise however. "Gabrieeeeel! You're back on Coruscant!" He cheered excitedly as Gabriel pulled him into a quick hug. "Nothin's changed. How's business?" He enquired with a grin as he picked out a cigarette from a carton in the pocket of his leather jacket. Siero pulled out a lighter from his and lit his cigarette. "Business is good. As you can tell." He smirked and pointed out his suit and watch. "Alright alright. How's the wife?" He questioned as they both walked down the spaceport aisles and out into the streets. "She's fine. Anyway, about business. I got something for you. Big BIG hit." He grinned, expanding his hands in a gesture to signify not only the importance, but all the cash that could be reaped by doing this.

"Big hit huh? What's up?" He enquired, obviously very interested at the promise of some cash. "Haha, well. Guy on this planet made some kinda chemical for the Kaminoans, rumor has it that chemical didn't really work out too good at the cloning facility, but. But but but but It worked out really well on idiots looking to get really high." Gabriel chuckled at the thought that a chemical used for cloning was now being used as some kinda intense psychadelic. "What so people have been taking the stuff?" He spoke, he couldn't help but laugh. "I know, its' nuts. Anyway, some nasty guy round here wants him kidnapped so he can get the 'recipe' off him."

"Pfft, sounds easy." He boasted. "Nonononono no, it ain't. Guy's got security crawling everywhere. That's why the pay is so high." The Rodian spoke, alerting Gabriel to not be so hotheaded in his pursuit of cash, as he was dealing with someone pretty dangerous. "How much?" And with that, Siero pulled out a datapad with a pretty fat cash sum written on it. 50,000 credits plus a permanent 10% stake in sales of the substance. "Pretty good, sounds like something I can do." He accepted. "Good, cause I'm gonna need you to since I put in a good word, I'm trying to get some cash here."

"Alright Moneybags. Any idea of where he'd be?" The jet black haired man asked, with his accomplice merely shrugging in cluelessness. "No fethin' clue. Rumor has it guy's in a warehouse somewhere, no clue where exactly but I'm sure if you pushed around some of the dealer's they'd have to tell ya." Siero grinned. "Anyway, I really gotta scoot, got a shipment comin' in and I gotta get back to my duties. Good luck man." He spoke quickly, and made off equally quickly, leaving Gabriel alone in the city center. It was night time, about time he hit the clubs, drugs and illicit substances galore lurked in there. He'd have to learn the name of the stuff first though, as it definitely wasn't spice.

And with that, Gabriel's datapad beeped.

--Siero: Left a modified speeder for you at spot N91 at the speeder lot. Enough space for you to toss the dude in and head off. REMEMBER: DON'T KILL HIM OR WE'RE KARKED. And if anyone else tries to, kill 'em.

Keys are under the exhaust.

A second bleep.

-- Siero: ALSO! I put your armor in there too. You can thank me later ;^)

Ha. Looked like it was time to get ravey, and Siero was on point as ever.

Manidark Zail

Bounty Hunter / Freelance
In Hyper drive searching for encrypted codes to find The Empire Of Hand, aid and assist is Zail's plan, but meanwhile...

Aboard his old, rusty and quite scary looking The Dark Vesicular, Zail deactivated the hyper drive and stopped in mid-flight.
"Ah, what do we have here? Another man who is already six feet under soon enough, or... alive?" Zail, looks into his flight computer and reads:

Interesting Manidark thinks, so name Ord, 40,000 credits... Coruscant. "I loath that city" After this he sets his com and radar device attempting to find where and whom the bounty was sent to, to come into contact with said person.

Zail looks to his right, flips a switch that activates the son of a gun that cost him quite a bit of credits, but was worth it. An assassin droid,[NPC] IG-77 or Bucket of death. It streams, screams to life beginning to inch to the flamethrower on his arm.

"Ah, ah come on IG quit it, not the time, but soon enough I'll tell you the details soon enough." Zail informs.

BOD responds with "No intruders? Damn it, been waiting to use this again, flesh burning is quite funny".

"Right... well it may be funny, but it smells". Dark states.

So it begins, a hunt for a man named Ord, and learning more about this case and the case of finding this new empire, it would help to have them on his side or theirs to his, no matter. Revenge will come soon enough, credits sounds nice.

Kyber was sleeping in his makeshift hammock that was attached to two pipes in the back of the cockpit of his ship when an annoying beep started to hammer into his mind. He awoke to see a flickering light that pulsed to the beat of the annoyingly loud beeps. He attempted to quickly get up out of the hammock only to find himself struggling to get up, which would eventually end in him face down on the ground. As he got up and brushed the dust of himself he walked over to the main console of his ship and picked up the datapad on the pilot's seat. He plopped himself down as he turned on the device to see the notification...

Kyber had forgot he set an alert for bounties over 25,000 credits on his datapad. Kyber didn't usually take hit-jobs, but after doing a little research found that this "mystery man" wasn't the only one putting out a hit on this guy. He figured he'd team up with another Bounty Hunter and make this job a whole lot easier. He plugged in the coordinates for Coruscant on his Nav and let the Ship do the rest of the work. He headed further into the back of his Sloop to take his armor out of Cargo, always found it more comforting to wear it when traveling to heavily populated planets. Got him ready for the job. After he finished putting on his old Junker Mando armor he sat back down in the Pilot's seat and kicked his feet up and slowly drifted back to sleep, awaiting for the computer to wake him up again after he'd reached his destination.

Two Days Earlier...

"Alright... then we go over it until we have a plan. Like, a solid plan."
<<Yes, Xenia. Where shall we start, this time.>>

She took a second to think about the question. She needed to display all of the information in her mind. Sort through it until something came up. "Alright, let's start with our target." The droid nodded, <<what about him, exactly.>> Xenia shrugged, and then tapped her holonets back to life. She had exhausted so much time prying for information over the holonet already. "Well, what do we know about him," a rhetorical question, and she left no room for the droid to answer. "Victus Ord, a chemical worker of enough note to deal with Kamino, like directly. Kamino isn't into it, so they drop him, he gets mad and takes their guys." She paused. From what she could tell, there was no information of much value in there. They guy was reckless, and that was about it. "Now, now he's just, what, hiding out on Coruscant. And in three days he expects Kamino's money shipment," the metallic voice of her 3PO unit cut in, <<Insanity, if you ask me.>> Xenia just paused, looked the droid up and down in a hesitating disbelief. "Yeah, suuure, anywayyyyy. Come to find out, this Victus has quite the operation here on world. We've got coordinates to all of his meeting points, drop off locations, and even his main base of operations." Her voice trailed off as if she were hitting a road block.

<<So then, what's the issue we're facing, my lady.>>
"Ummm, oh, alright, opposing numbers!," she announced, sounding excited.
<<Hmmm, you're referring to the possibly dangerous organization Victus has set up, yes?>>
"Yeah, exactly, I'm just-- we're just two, you and I."
<<I don't see much way around that, Xenia.>>

And that's when the lightbulb in her head flashed. "No, no, no, there is a way. Kinky," the droid, "get out of the way, I need to get to the holonets." The droid promptly moved, and Xenia took her rightful seat in the captains seat. Quickly moving fingers engaged the ships numerous systems, pulling up information on the multiple screens around her. Hologram machines activated, as well, pumping three dimensional images into place, personal profiles and other political related matter. <<Ma'am-->> "Don't ma'am me, fer' kark'sake Kinky." But she got the point, the droid was curious. "Yeah, sooo, numbers. That's our biggest issue at this point, or at least what we've come up with so farrrr. Soooo," it looked like she was doing a wild man's work, information flashing here and there. Various interface coding charts popped up, and strange text was prompted at her command. "Check it out, I'm using Naboo's holo systems to boot up tons of these bounties. Bounties for Coruscant hunters, with high yield." <<L-Lady Xenia, why're you doing that? Can these be traced back to you?>> "Please, like I'd be that sloppy. Everything is done anonymously, where's the credit, Kink?"

<<Forgive me, my lady. So you intent to draw attention towards Coruscant with other bounty hunters?>>
"Yeah, but not just randomly either," she began, trying to find the correct words to continue. "Im pumping out tons of these, without a doubt there's going to be many prying eyes. For credits like this, we're talkin' real numbers coming to Victus."
<<Sounds like a guessing game.>>
"And it would be, though, bounty hunters around the area, those that're any good at least, will be scanning for small frequencies. Frequencies on rarely used channels, exactly what most criminals rely on for holo-communication. Any ship scanner can pick up something like that..."
<<I don't see where this is going...>>
"Well, when we're ready, and enough attention has been attracted, I'll release the coordinates. The exact coordinates of Victus' location. His main station, I guess I can just dump the information into the holonets, attached to the various bounties I've listed all over. Anyone who's watching the case will be attached to its going ons, at least let's hope, checking its status and so on, to see if someone else had already gotten to the man. I mean, I do that." She shrugged.
<<Then you plan to lure the bounty hunters into place by emitting a frequency on lowly regulated channels with Victus' location? Doesn't that bring all of your competition to one spot, correct me if I'm wrong, but you're squandering your own odds of success my lady.>>
"Nope, none of the other bounties are listed as kills. I can't find one, other than Kamino's, and that was a personal offer."
<<Meaning...?>>
"Meeeaanninnggg, they're not planning on running in a blazing everyone down. I mean, maybe they are, but they're not going to try and kill Victus. That means I'll be the only one with the easyyy requirement. Getting someone out alive and fighting would, like, suuuck. I just have to shoot him. They're just there to... deal with Victus' men."
<<Sounds too risky.>>
"Too late, already doing itttttt," she sang with musical excitement.

Day three of three...
Kamino's expected day of credit delivery...

The shadow of her vessel cast a deep shadow over the buildings. It was early morning, and she was already on route to Victus' exchange point. Things had been going well, bounty collectors all around the galaxy snagging the offers she had made. Even when most of her applications were ignored, she had generated a massive hype, and other employers had begun to climb on board, seeing the potential of the man. A drug, produced for the lower levels of Coruscant, which procured potent effects. Of course, it couldn't be healthy, as it was apparently made to combat the side effects of a clone's accelerated growing process. A blast of sensual stimulation, the likes of which made the girl's teeth curl around her lip in a curious snarl. But curiosity was as far as it'd go, and she shook the idea from her mind. Her droid sat in the seat next to her. <<We've just received our go ahead from Sozo'ka on Kamino, we're in the clear.>> That meant Sozo'ka had informed Victus' crew that the money was coming, and it would be coming in a Nubian class luxury cruiser.

It seemed like no time at all that she pulled up at the landing pad, leg gear extending form the ship's belly in order to stand while the engines were off. With a steamy ssssshhhh, the hatch slid opened and transformed into a diagonal walk way. The female 3PO unit stood with her at the top, and her eyes scanned her surroundings. It was morning, like, early morning. The light was still dim, and most of the visible world was being bathed in an orange light. Five men up front, three at their rear. Every one of them had rifles other than one in the back, and one in the front. Those would be the fastest to draw their weapons, she made note to herself. Her own clothing looked official enough, a tight fitting suit with sensual lines and curves in the stitch work. Hair, like fountains of multi tonal chocolate spilled over her shoulders and down her back, and green eyes stared at them each respectively. A quick smile, directed at, sort of, all of them. Obviously fake.

"You Xenia?" The front-most pistol wielder asked. Xenia bent towards him.
"Obviously," she said with open arms as she casually approached the men.
"Yeah, obviously. You got our money, woman?"
"Wow," she said, as if surprised, "you don't do business with much manners, huh?"
"Listen lady," started another of the men, a nautolan, "Give up the credits and get outta--"
"Whoa, whoa, this isn't a shake down, we both want something," Xenia reminded...

Sozo'ka's men were brought forward by anootthherrrrr set of men. Xenia's eyes rolled slightly as she re counted her opponents here. They seemed willing enough to play their side of the deal, throwing the skinny looking Kaminoans forward towards Xenia. She smiled at them, as if to reassure them that they were safe. Her hand itched to pull out her blaster and just start with things, but that would never happen. She was brave, not stupid. In return for the Kaminoans, she handed the man a smaller looking box. He snatched it greedily, and instantly went to open it, needing to check that the credits were there. Xenia's face, if only for a second, tightened as he opened her 'present.' It happened too quickly to really be conscious of it. A blast of noise, ripping from a sonic grenade of sorts. She was the first to fall to the ground, head spinning from the dazed paralysis of the sonic attack's effects. There were no words for the pain, and it felt like her ears were bleeding, though they weren't.

The rest sort of just, happened. And, while it had been her idea, the rest was not up to her. The men, also, fell over in a crippling pain, their senses on fire by the ongoing noise which tore at one's sanity. A high pitched screech of a sound, and it seemed beat like a heart after hearing it for too long. Over her, the droid walked with ease, blaster in hand, tearing the men apart as if it were no problem at all. What seemed like hours passed, realistically only a few minutes, and the noise stopped. To be clear, the pain didn't, and the ringing screamed at her with everything she couldn't stand. Around her, in piles, were the dead bodies. They had been defenseless, just as she had been. It took the droid four times until Xenia heard her, each time moving closer and upping the volume on its vocal monitors. <<Xenia,>> she heard in patches, <<get up, we need to move quickly, remember?>> Yes, and Xenia had promised that she'd be able to handle the restraint of her own plan. Nodding, mouth hanging open and red eyed, Xenia pulled herself to a standing position, sloppily frisking the man until she found what she was looking for. Their personal schematics and information. Com-units security passwords on cards.

Hovering back to her ship, it was merely a matter of uploading the information, and with a simple click, hit send. Near instantly, all over Coruscant, an odd frequency would begin pumping. Not on one channel, either, mind you. On numerous channels, streams of code and information. Coordinate points for the main base of operations, all originating from Victus' men's personal com-units. An obvious leak out into the public. She had made her call. Now, she had but to wait until they swarmed like bees into location. The rest, from here, became dangerous. "Get us to... Victus..." She slumped against a wall when she finally clamored into her spacecraft.

<<Right away.>>

Two hours later...
At Victus' HQ...

Victus was no doubt a hard man to play. He had quickly caught wind of the information leak and was already heavily saturating his territory with all of the heavy fire power he could manage. Men, stacked in groups around the large, ground level building cluster. Ally ways filled with trash, broken down bits and pieces, and ill clad men and women of various species, none of which looked healthy or happy. Some crowded around sabotaged R2 units, the heads of which had been removed so that the mechanical entity was now a hollowed out fire pit. Some shook, and scratched at their skin in the darker corners. It was clear that the drug was used frequently in these areas. An obvious supply and demand, so it seemed.

Xenia made her way through the depressing scenery, weaving from one street to another as she'd been taught, avoiding detection from the watchful eyes of the enemy. Around these parts, the terrain was so vast and endless. Towering sky scrapers, about four, rose around them, giving level to the playing field. She was sure that various snipers and men from each side would take refuge in those buildings. She preferred things right in front of her, on the ground, feet against the floor, blaster in hand. The ringing in her ears had almost subsided, but she still felt the lingering effects of her earlier attack. As if discreetly, various star ships pulled through the vacant air space, no doubt carrying the bounty hunters who had come to Xenia's organized call.

Summary: Xenia devised a plan to gather the bounty hunters together, all at once in an effort to combat Victus' numbers. Using her noble status, and whatever political power she's managed to scramble together, and forcing it into fusion with her immense computer knowledge, she was able to generate tons of 'false' bounties, and dump them onto the holo-nets. Each of the bounties listed information that would be hard to find anywhere else, and contained high reward prices, generating a massive amount of hype. Quickly, other employers, those which you have all spoken to for example, have caught onto the operation and have their own interests.

Meeting with the crew sent to pick up Kamino's money, Victus' men, she launched a sonic attack which hit her just as hard. Crippling herself, and Victus' men with her, her 3PO unit was able to deal with the thugs. Gathering the fallen men's com-units, security passwords, and other restricted information, she pumped out a massive call to bounty hunters in the area through the holo-webs. Coordinates and explicit information, running on lowly monitored, under the radar channels which could easily be picked up by most passing starships on world monitoring those untapped channels.

After the massive call was sent out, she headed to the location, and took up a ground position, waiting for her chance to move. Victus, having received word of his information leak had garrisoned any man he could get his hands on. The result, groups of heavily armed, thuggish but dangerous protectors of the drug business lay like sharks in a tank, scattered about Coruscant's lower levels, concentrated around Victus. It's certainly dangerous to approach, that goes without saying...

Chaff landed in the Coruscant hanger he had gotten clearance to land in. Wouldn't have been this easy not too long ago. he wasn't exactly in the good books with the pubs at the moment. Before, he would have probably had to take on a disguise, or bribe some official to look the other way. But, with the Sith takeover of the planet, it was easy to get in. Sith didn't have any beef with him. He checked the holonet real quick before he left. Last thing he wanted to do was show up at the location to find out someone had beat him to the punch. That would be annoying. Then he found something interesting.

"Hello, what have we here?"

Someone had gone and posted a set of coordinates on the holonet, a set that claimed to be the location of this Victus's main base. Now that was interesting. Could be a trap, of course. Hell, that was more then likely what it was. He doubted that some kind bounty hunter had gone and posted em to help the competition. That made no sense. Logical thing to assume was that this Victus guy had sent em out to draw in any bounty hunters and take em out. Well, it ain't a trap if ya see it coming. Chaff figured he'd go for it. Take down whatever morons were waiting, and integrate whoever survives to find out the real location. Sound plan.

Later...

Chaff was lying on the roof of a tall building bordering the general area the location had marked. Behind and below him was a trail of corpses, probably Victus's men, that were unfortunate enough to be in his way. he wasn't trying to be subtle, no point in hiding the body's. he wasn't planning on hanging around long. Sure, someone could spot em and call it in. But clearly they were already on alert, so they knew someone was coming. No point in hiding.

it was odd. They seemed to be actively patrolling the area, from what he could see from the roof. if they were planing to jump him, then walking around painting a target on ya was the last thing to do. Maybe the message was for real? That would explain the high alert he was seeing. Chaff made up his mind to hang around a few minutes more, see the patrol routes they were talking before he moved. He took a moment to discreetly put a motion sensor in the connecting stairwell that would be hard to see, then returned to the scouting.

...Kyber awoke to the same annoying beeping that had woken him up earlier on in his venture. Now approaching the Orbit of Coruscant he checked his datapad for any new info about the bounty. What he found was....surprising, to say the least. He dug deeper on the holonet to see if he could dig up any info about this 'Victus' and thought there had to be a bug in his system. "Way too many..." Kyber knew something had to be up. As soon as he hit Coruscant space his system blew up with bounties. No one man who dealt in chemicals could be this "popular", and most of the bounties being anonymous? He didn't trust it. He tried to trace back some of the bounties to their original source, but it was all just a wild goose chase. It was obvious someone with a lot more skill than him had done this. He decided to stay dark in orbit of the planet, programming all his devices to scan the holonet for any changes or any new bounties over 20,000 credits with certain key words such as "Victus" and "Coruscant". With any luck he'd get more than a few hits.

...A few days passed and Kyber was getting impatient. He started doubting his abilities, thinking he may have been too paranoid. Kyber had just about given up when his systems exploded with alerts. Information about Victus had been shotgunned all over the holonet. He wouldn't get a better chance than this. He landed at the nearest space port and headed to Victus HQ on foot. He studied the surrounding buildings and layout of the general area for about an hour, always believing experiencing it himself is better than any map on a holoprojector. He studied the general environment, focusing a little more on the high-rises until he found the best possible vantage point on a tall building about 350 meters away and 4 stories up. A small chain of residential balconies on a building that was undergoing renovations. That's not where he set up. He chose the second best vantage point, about 450 meters from Victus' HQ and 100 meters from the best vantage point. It was a Hotel, so Kyber booked 3 adjacent rooms, setting up in the middle one. He went onto the balcony and laid out his Sniper Rifle, a QuietSnipe with a custom long range adjustable scope. He unsheathed his blade and laid it next to him, just in case anyone wanted to set off his motion sensors parked under the door of each of the three rooms. There he stayed. Watching. Waiting.

...After almost an hour had passed of him laying with his eye down the scope in a low-zoom for wide scanning, he noticed something strange. A woman seemed to have parked herself ground level, just waiting. From the looks of her she was no civilian. "Another Bounty Hunter that got caught by the splattered info...?" Kyber thought to himself. Most likely. He continued to scour the area making sure to regularly aim back to her spot to see if she had made any movements. A short while passed until he saw what he presumed to be another Bounty Hunter get in close on one of the High-rises near Victus' HQ. He didn't seem to care all that much about being discovered. Kyber figured another Bounty Hunter caught by this "Illusive Man's" trap. As he watched and waited patiently Kyber made a mental note of trying to figure out the man that did this. He figured they'd be close by, going after the bounty as well. Whether they were going to participate until the very end was unknown, but what he did know was this; At the end of the bloodshed he'd come out to claim his prize, and Kyber was going to be there to see who that man was.

Gabriel was about to enter the club when his datapad literally almost exploded with new messages, including one from Siero.
-- Siero: Holonet's lookin' busy. I retraced Victus' location, I've set it into the speeder's GPS now GET TO IT!

And that was it, no need to push around some random drug peddler, it was time to go for the real deal. Gabriel spun around and ran towards the carpark, entering via the back door and going up a couple levels towards the northern block of the park. And there it was, a speeder resembling a station wagon, blacked out windows and modified repulsors, Gabriel slid his hand under the speeder's exhaust and sure enough, there was a set of keys. He jammed the key into the hole, twisted and with a mechanical sound it was unlocked. He stepped inside and as promised on the passenger seat his Beskar armor rested in a neat pile.

Grabbing all that composed his armor he got changed in the back of the speeder. Very, very uncomfortable, but after a solid 5 minutes he was off, placing his helmet on his head he got back into the driver's seat of the speeder and fired it up. Leaving the parking spot and going straight to the traced location on the GPS. Stopping a short distance away in a small alleyway to conceal him from any snipers or unwanted attention, however he knew that this place would be crawling with other bounty hunters as this bounty blew up really quickly. No doubt a couple people looking for a quick hit would've turned up.

He pulled out something from a pouch on his armor, a Hunter Killer Drone about 25cm long, he wouldn't turn on the kill function but merely the seek function, so the drone looped around the area and gave aerial reconnaissance to a small datapad on Gabriel's forearm, and yep. Two snipers, that made getting out a bit more difficult especially if they were also looking to eliminate rival bounty hunters.

He opened the sunroof of the van and clutched the drone in the crushgaunt on his right hand, and with a firm toss, the drone was sent skyward, a tiny propeller sending it above the highrisers to scout for people, and he found not only snipers. But also what looked like a woman on the ground. There we go, a more direct approach. Something in common. He zoomed in on the powerful camera that the drone possessed. "Cute too." He couldn't help but think, but his attention was brought to a warehouse with a lot of activity. As if they were preparing for something. And upon closer inspection, they were. Weapons. And in the background through the drone's X-ray camera he could see people also moving barrels into a truck, they were probably going to flee with a large batch of the stuff. So Gabriel was safe to play the waiting game, but not for long.

He sat there, paying close attention to whatever came up on the drone's radar. If even one of those snipers tried to have a crack at shooting his speeder he'd bring 'em down with swift, explosive justice.

The drone had also painted the two snipers and the woman's location on Gabriel's HUD within his helmet, orange diamond shaped emblems with arrows and distances were marked, a pink diamond used to distinguish the woman from everyone else as she seemed to be in more immediate danger.

He waited to see what would happen, he'd initiate the attack himself but something had to happen for there to be such a stalemate on both sides, once someone started to attack, that would be his cue. But in the meantime he heard a knock on his window which surprised him.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" The armed man asked through the speeder's pitch black windows. Gabriel did not respond. "Hey! Open the fethin' window." He demanded, a bit more vocally, pointing a blaster to the side windscreen as Gabriel slowly put down the windows. But what the man on the other end didn't expect was a right hook to the face with a crushgaunt. Needless to say the impact was devastating as it pretty much broke most of the bones in his face and killed him instantly. He didn't make much noise either so there shouldn't have been much of a need to relocate.

In any case, the wait continued.

"How're things looking, Kinky?" She asked her droid over a small audio mic.
<<Bioscans are showing numerous approachers, be on your guard m'lady.>>
"Obviouslyyy..."

So then, things were beginning to heat up. Bounty Hunters were spilling in from the surrounding areas. Of course, Xenia had no way to know where they were, only that they were there. With a passing glance at her surroundings, guessing really wasn't a chore. In fact, she had already mapped out all of the best, and most tactical points, as well as some of the more common place ideas. Buildings, the skyscrapers, that was obvious. She slinked further into the shadows, always moving in jerked left, right, left, so as to maker herself a painful target for anyone with less than masterful aiming abilities. Of course, taking the hidden route was always safer, sticking to the distance, but they misunderstood the point of this bounty. There were going to be swarms of bounty hunters here, most all of which were experienced killers. Literally professionals of the art, and they would be on the look out for one another. What she had summoned was a blood bath, it just had yet to reveal itself as such.

"Ey, Kink," she plugged back into the microphone in her ear.
<<Yes, Xenia?>>
"Remind me to get recon droids, or something for better eyes..."
<<E-Eyes... m'lady?>>
"Yeah, y'know, like sensory information, like cameras-- just remind me."
<<Noted.>>
"... Thanks."

Though, when she rounded the next corner, her breath left her and she spun backwards in retraction. A group of three, heavily armed mobsters huddled around each other. Her stomach rose and fell with heavy breaths, but she had already prepared for this. Gripping the blaster at her thigh, she pulled it free, raised it, and walked out with a confident strut. Her motions really were just perfect for the scene, a bowed walking gate so that hair bounced up and down. Her eyes positively lit up with an overly applied smile, the kind one offers to an obvious enemy when forced into being polite. It was still insulting, but before they could react to her weapon, she began pulling the trigger. Bright flashes of green, one, two, three, they dropped to the ground, smoking. Their guns made some noise, but what really caused her to real inwards was the smack of their skulls against the cemented ground. Whack. She wasted no time in hovering over their bodies, stripping them of the useful things. These thugs didn't have much, although one had a flash grenade, and another had a pair of ion grenades. She acquired both, strapping them onto belt she wore around her waist. "poodoo, poodoo, poodoo," she began, none of them had any kind of security clearance cards, or anything the least bit useful in the long run.

"... Really? Of course... thanks..."

Her head was raised to the sky when she spoke, glaring at nothing in particular, just in case there was a god up there. She didn't holster her weapon, there would be no taking things lightly at this point. Before long, others would show up here. Her blasts had not been silent, and it was very possible that other watchers were clued in on her location because of the visual, and auditory announcements shooting a gun made. She had to move. To get out of here. So, again, she vanished into the maze of street work, moving quickly and effectively closer and closer in on Victus base. Before long, she realized she was not alone, that was to say, she was following someone. She hadn't meant to, and by no means did she plan on continuing. Another bounty hunter, someone who looked to be rather young, male, and of the Twi'lek species. But, just as she had noticed the male, a strung out series of unfortunate events played themselves out.

As if alerted, and spooked, the Twi'lek jerked from the shadow and Xenia only saw the flash of the blaster bolt which struck him to the ground. Her yelped in terror, the pain sizzling at him, though he wasn't dead. In what seemed like a last ditch effort, he brought a com-unit to his mouth and shouted something muffled. Something along the lines of a desperate command. Two more apparent bounty hunters, or those who had followed the trail of hype here, leapt from behind hunks of durasteel mechanics, brandishing blaster weapons of their own. It was a short event, but, for some reason it started the engines. Slurred voices, in shouts, the voices of Victus' men called out to alert the others of their situation. That they were being attacked by bounty hunter. And before she could even notice the change, Xenia was surrounded in a cathedral of blaster fire, ripping the world apart around her. Nothing aimed at her in particular. But the miniature war she had called upon was now tearing a hole in this particular area of Coruscant. The innocents who watched by the streets edges began screaming and fleeing, even those with weak and hungry bodies. That little bit of ruckus had called forth the scream of danger, and she heard weapons discharging from all around her. Behind buildings, and just around corners.

Even she had not expected this much sudden activity.
Had Victus given his men the order to attack, suddenly, and mercilessly?

Summary: More of the called bounty hunters draw in closer. Some of them made a reckless charge, unable to withstand the stress of building anticipation. Shots were fired, shouts were made, and a series of com-link reports to and from Victus and his men caused the scene to finally erupt. Blasters, from all over, are screaming as they fire within the streets. Victus men are rushing through the streets, now aggressively on the search for threats and hunters...

Kail Ragnar wasn’t angry – just amused at how easy the breadcrumbs that bounty hunter Xenia had left were so obvious.

Still piloting the Rodian ship, fuelled from Equator City that he was abandoned in, the mercenary came to a standstill above the atmosphere of Coruscant, jewel of the galaxy – apparently. Looking down over the crest of the sprawling city-wide nexus below, he could see the magnificent skylines criss-crossing below and over the blanket of durasteeel and electrical power that was just, effectively, one big city.

And how to find one girl on a whole planet – easy. Follow the trail she left.

Kail wasn’t a slicer or an expert on computing, that was clear, but using the holo-vid she had recorded and uploaded to the ship he was piloting, he was able to use her image and her name to trace her and the ship she piloted – a Naboo cruiser.

With Xenia and the starship clocked in with the Coruscant authorities the moment she broke the atmosphere, it was now just a case of using the frequency she he had recorded on to hone in on her.

Bringing up his comlink attached to his left wrist, he had the frequency ready to go and just had to push the green dial and speak. Sure, others may pick up the signal, but he didn’t care – he was only after one. And she was down there, somewhere.

It was nice of her to leave his equipment with him, she warranted a bonus point. Both KX-60 rifle and SSX blaster, fully loaded, and his armoured vest, all laying on the co-pilot’s seat beside him with the bag of credits he intended to return to her in due course.

But not after questions were asked and she learnt a lesson on who not to mess with.

Kail brought up the com-link, pushed the dial and spoke calmly.

”This is Kail Ragnar. Xenia, part-time princess and awful bounty hunter, please respond.”

He clicked off and kept his eyes on the sprawling planet below. He hadn’t been in charge of his own destiny like this for a long time.

At first, she had elected not to move. Instead, she pressed herself firmly against the closest wall as two groups of the thuggish men ran by. Not one had she seen without a weapon of some kind, and these were no play toys either. They were carrying near military grade equipment, deadly by every means possible. In the mere five minutes since the chaotic noise had started, she had already watched four fall to the ground, never to rise again. Their smoking bodies were now out of sight, as she had gotten out of the direct conflict quicker than someone could have told her to do so.

<<M'lady, are you getting that?>>
"Getting what, am I getting what?"
<<The signal, a com-unit signal.>>
"Im not getting anything, patch it through if you--"

She didn't finish, she had been found, and one of the largest males had drawn a blaster on her already. Xenia tossed herself to the side, and her arm shot forth, pulling the trigger at her own pace. The thug's attack barely missed her, and she could have sworn she'd felt the heat of the blaster against her ribcage. A small hole, burnt into the clothing there, which smelt faintly of burnt hair. Her shot hit, however, and the man fell to the ground. It hadn't kill him, even so. The others had rifles, and when they joined the fight, things became even more serious. One rapid fire gun, the other a heavy damage type, they pinned her against her cover. A broken down speeder, sagging low to the ground on under powered repulser-lifts. Having thrown herself behind it, she lay close to the ground, prying eyes noticing their legs. Pulling her pistol to aim, she took another few shots, dropping them by smashing their ankles with energetic assaults. All but one fell, and he was caught in the moment's confusion, not noticing when Xenia flew from behind her cover for a full frontal assault. They tried, and for a moment things looked bad, but they failed, and with the shots from her smoking gun barrel, they all died. Again, there was nothing on their bodies.

<<Are you alright,>> the droid asked in a mechanical monotone.
"Yes-- Kink, what were you saying?"
<<There's a com-unit signal using our ship's frequency, I'm patching it through to your head piece now.>>
"Yea--"

But before she had even agreed, the signal fell through, and she heard the voice of a man she had not been expecting. A cold, shutter of a breath fell from her lips in realization that, had that voice played just seconds ago, it could have caused the very hesitation which got someone killed in these kinds of events. As if he would just be standing there, close to her, like in a nightmare, she spun around. Frantic eyes looking up and down, but there would be no way to tell where the frequency was coming from. At least, no way to do so from here.

"Kink, trace that signal. I want you following that ping, got it?"
<<Yes m'lady.>>

She couldn't hear anything well, but she did see the Nubian starship lift through the sky, following her commands. Her fingers fell back to the ear piece, and after scanning the streets, she pushed forward at her mild, diagonal approach. When she spoke though, none of the repressed fear she had just experienced came through in her voice. Instead, she just sounded worn out and as if she had just been active. Breathy, yet hyped enough.

"Wow, you came all the way to Coruscant just to say hi to little ol' me?"

He couldn’t help smile at her response, but again he assumed it was a front. Xenia sounded a little breathless and rather full of energy at the same time. He raised his wrist, eyes peeled on the planet.

”I hope I’m not interrupting anything.”

Kail brought the com away from his lips, but held it in mid-air instead of returning it to his lap as he noticed the Naboo ship, a Nubian model, passing by underneath and moving slowly upwards around the atmosphere.

”I know you have a droid, remember. Where are you. Don’t feed me any Sith-spit about your ship, I’m two seconds from blasting it out the sky.”

He killed the com in frustration – he didn’t have time for games and he wasn’t about to let her play any again.

She cocked her head to the side when he spoke again, a psuedo concern in his voice, obviously meant to convey just the opposite. She as running when he followed himself up, making note of the droid. She cursed under her breath, had the 3PO unit been obvious enough to tail at such-- no, if he was already onto her ship, that meant he was close. Her eyes pried into the sky once more, but this was Coruscant, it wasn't easy to pick out a specific ship from the sky among all of them that flew like insects. She had to give up on the chase, then, though it was no longer needed. She had just wanted to know where he was, and he had just given her that information in an easier way than what she had planned.

"Disturbing anyth--" but her voice couldn't be heard over what sounded like an abrupt laser fire.
"No I'm just at this," more blaster fire, this time from her own gun, "charity... event..."

She knew it was an obvious lie, though it was meant more in her own version of humor than anything else. Of course, she expected the man to hate her words, and come back with something all too venomous. And of course, had Kail done his research as she trusted him to, he would have known that the rest of the galaxy thought Xenia was at a peace organization's fund raiser of sorts, something of minor political appeal, though mostly to get her off Naboo, and into the action. Her pickings had been slim this time around.

"Don't touch the droid, you just told me where you are anyway," again, she looked up.
"So what, you came all the way here toooooo...?"

He span left and right gently in his seat, waiting for a response, watching the Nubian but as she spoke, what sounded like blaster fire burst out over the come, causing Kail to look down at the planet for some reason, as if he would see something millions of yards above ground.

He went to speak, but hesitated for a second –

”H...what ARE you up to?”

He clicked off, looking at the planet and waiting for response.

”Stupid idiot.”

Who? The girl or himself? He didn’t know. Xenia came back over the airwaves, calm and collected as usual regardless of what trouble she was doing.

”Call your ship back and stop wasting my time. I’ve got something here that belongs to you.”

Kail let out an exaggerated breath through puffed out cheeks. Holding his jaw in his hand, he really didn’t need this.

And just when Gabriel thought the situation couldn't get more tense, it did. As blasters echoed through the alleyways it was as if the entire block just lit up. Several shots striking the speeder as Gabriel floored it, a loud roar of the upgraded repulsorlifts blasted through the district as he drove forwards, ploughing into a couple of stray bounty hunters and crooks. His comlink crackling as it intercepted the communications. He was trying to reach the woman he had seen on his surveillance as she was literally in the crossfire. The speeder ducked left, a couple crackles and sparks from being hit with blaster fire.

He could remember where she went. The drone was still feeding him with video recon. "Looks like you're in a bit of a pickle, missy." He spoke with a grin through the comlink on his helmet. Dipping the speeder into a small alleyway before clambering out of the door, the alleyway was close to the warehouse so all he'd have to do was rush Victus towards it if he captured him.

He sprinted out of the alleyway, but hid behind the corner as blaster fire smashed into the bricks he was hiding behind. He unholstered an ArmTech HBP-1 and leaned out of the window, firing a powerful salvo of bolts with the 2-round burst function, both blasts hitting the crook right in the chest, pretty much pulverizing his body armor and leaving him in a slump with burned out holes in his abdomen.

He sprinted towards her, only to be tackled by another of Ord's men. Unfortunately his armor paired with his balance meant the tackle didn't really do too much. Gabriel reacted with a quick punch to the abdomen, before chokeslamming him with the crushgaunt, his body basically smacking against the floor with a crunch, the awkward landing breaking an arm. Gabriel followed up with a shot to the head before continuing his trek towards his rather pinned down target.

He holstered his pistol. Instead reaching over his back to pull out an AJAX ARC assault rifle, quickly unfolding the stock before rushing into the last alleyway he'd seen her in, the road forking off as he ran into more criminals who were swiftly dealt with by the 995 rounds per minute of his blaster rifle, the bolts shredding into them and leaving the three in a heap on the floor.

He ducked into where she was hiding, sneaking up on her.

"...Hi." He spoke with a grin, aiming to surprise her.

"Oh give me a break," she cut off, needing silence to avoid lingering foes.
"You don't have anything that I want, Kail," she said with a bit of attitude.
"You're free to leave this place whenever."

Men and their prides. Though, she didn't have much a choice but to call off her droid. With an annoyed roll of the eyes, she clicked the mic back to her ship's frequency and spoke with a matching monotone to 3PO unit's own. "He saw you lift off, Kink, fall back, he's whining." And with that she charged forward. She had spent enough time checking for safety, and peeping around corners. The goal now was to get into the cluster of buildings ahead of her, find the man she was after, and kill him where he stood. Almost sliding into place behind new cover, a walled section of the stairs which led to Victus' dwellings. Kneeling, and feeling much too exposed out in the open, she slung her body around, weapon aimed, and continued on. The stairs were always dangerous. Snipers along the towers would be able to see her with ease, though taking aim would be more difficult.

"I kicked your ass, Kail, you can't be worrying about me..."

Kail didn’t bother replying to the attitude Xenia was oozing. Back up against the wall and she loses all dignity she may have tucked away in that top of hers. He chuckled to himself, but moved quickly into action when the Nubian began to peel away and back down to the surface.

”Got you.”

Banking left, he took the Rodian ship into a steep dive to stay on the Nubian as it broke the upper atmosphere and down into the depths of the planet.

Lower Atmosphere
Coruscant, Coruscant System

Navigating behind the Nubian and through the skylanes, Kail kept his eyes fixed on her ship and followed up and down, left and right and through what looked like the old industrial estates through to a large district. Pretty much looking the same as most others on the surface, Kail didn’t care and followed the ship down.

He overshot the Nubian, keeping low and bringing the ship down onto a rooftop a block over on one of 4 landing pads. Kail killed the engines and stood up. He slung over the armoured vest, zipping it up and taking his KX-60. Slipping it over his back, he then affixed the SSX to his right thigh and grabbed the bag of credits.

Walking through to the rear landing ramp, he punched the loading button and the back split open, letting cool air flow through and wrap around Kail, squinting gently at the breeze. He exited the ship, and with no welcome party, he looked around for a moment to take in the planet.

This was only his second time on the surface, and he felt like he was lost in a concrete jungle compared to the familiarity of Tatooine. He craned his neck back to follow the might ships overhead and took in the life that was evident in every district, every cruiser and every angle he looked at.

Bringing up the com-link, Kail clicked on.

”You better hope you’re not there when I get over this block. If you are, I’m going to kill you.”

He smiled as he cut off the signal.
