Always Reuniting with Family

Concentrating on his Cloak, Zander stared at the mirror: it wavered and shimmered like someone with no control over the Force. The fact he could summon a full blown Cloak with his weak form was simply a testsament to his living a full life with that as his specialty: he knew a few tricks by now.

Sighing, he released his hold on the Force, then turned to head for his closet. Dressing in a nice Tuxedo, with a deep blue silken tie, Zander smiled at his self in the mirror. Dapper, finesse, and luxury all wrapped in a single gift wrap.

Touching on the Force for one single extra second, Zander called on the Force Bond between himself and his family. Whoever was closest would likely show soonest, but he specifically sought [member="Felicity Mason"], [member="Feena Mason"], and then as an additive he sent through with the call the urge to his aquaintance [member="Keter"] as well.

Laying on his bed, Zander began to sleep...

The Eternal Queen
"Brother dearest" the Naboo Queen began in her message to him, "how have you been? Is been so long. After the invasion..."

The hologram of Feena shook her black curls.

"Well. Let's just say it's been... busy. I wish you would come to naboo soon. Keter misses you too, I'm sure. But you know him. He won't admit it."

Feena fell into uncomfortable silence for a moment. Keter was a master of masks. Feena had long since lost that talent. She looked as if someone had stabbed her right in her heart. There was a good reason for that.

"Everything is fine. Well... except Felicity... she ran away. With some boy. I... please contact me soon. If felicity comes to you first, please keep her safe."

The transmission ended.

[member="Zander"]

Zander listened intently, the tips of his right pointer and middle fingers tapping his lower lip thoughtfully. He had rested, awoken to a recieved message, and now sought a directive on his next moves. He could return contact with his lovely sister, or contact Felicity now...

Feena would want to know her brother was seeking his niece...

------------------------------

Moving silently, hidden by his Recon Armor's lessening how difficult a Cloak would be. He had sent out nearly a dozen hunters to find his family member, and a rumor came from one that he may have found her. Than again, who knows, she might take after her uncle, and be a natural stealther. If so, he was likely to find it difficult to locate her unless through his own means.

Time would tell.

Spotting a small lithe body ahead, he stepped forward and called, "[member="Felicity Mason"]!" Hoping it would be her.

[member="Feena Mason"]

Corusant. The city-planet was about as Felicity expected. Completely wonderful. Naboo was so very quiet, so neat, so clean. Coruscant was a mess of activity, dirt, crime. So unlike home. So incredibly perfect.

She'd slipped away early this morning before Owain could wake up and stop her. She hadn't been able to look around. Not really. Not on her own. It was too 'dangerous', but danger was exactly what she was looking for. That adrenaline rush, the way her heart raced when she thought she might die. She wanted to feel it again.

She was walking through a market street, browsing the stalls, taking in the exotic silks and imported fruits and spices from all over the Galaxy. The Sith might own this little clump of black, but that didn't stop it from being a hive of culture. She stopped to examine some pretty scented candles, ranging in color from the softest violet, to the most vivid red. Mom would like these, she knew. Maybe she could bring one back for her? A little gift to say 'sorry I ran away without a word and probably gave you a heart attack.' It wouldn't stop her from grounding her forever and probably blaming Owain for it all, but a little peace offering couldn't hurt things when she did go back. She picked up a deep green candle, one that smelled like sparklemint, moms favorite. Thankfully, mom hadn't turned off her credit card. Good thing, or else renting the room they were staying in might become a challenge. She hoped to be off this world soon anyway, of course, off to the next adventure, but until they could find a decent transport, this was it for them.

After paying and wrapping the gift for her mother safely in her bag, she kept moving, pulling her hood up over her head. She was still not sure how far her message got. Not sure who would recognize her as The daughter of Naboos Queen. Who knew on a Sith world? Anything could happen.

And it frequently did.

"Felicity Mason!"

The girl's bright blue eyes went wide. That wasn't Owains voice. She knew that voice. She knew who that was.
Uncle Z. She cringed, and started running, tearing through the crowd as fast as she could.
No. No. No! If he caught her, he would send her back with mom. He would make her end her adventure! He might even hurt Owain. No. No. She would run. She would go back, get Owain, and they would run. Together. She wasn't ready to let him drift away yet. She wanted to travel with him, anywhere the Galaxy took them. And if Uncle Z caught her, this dream would come to an end.

[member="Zander"]

Zander watched the tiny form bolt like lightning, pushing past bodies like they didnt matter. It was her, or else why run? Rocketing through the very same crowds, he threw bodies to the side far better than his niece could, literally letting them sail feet over others. When this grew to the point of obviously hindering his speed, Zander shifted his position, and bee-lined for the nearest ledge. Climbing onto the railway that overlooked a massive drop to the ground so far below, he practically ran,foot over foot, until he was within reach of the connected building.

Leaping into the air, he kicked nimbly off the wall, sailing higher vertically until his grip met that of an outstretched balcony. Once he was over and both feet settled, he was off like a shot again. Leaping over a bent body, he landed again on the balcony rail opposite the direction he came, staring at his niece as she fled.

Having dropped all focus on the Force Cloak, Zander called into the Force, hoping their Bond would let the words reach her, "I just want to talk, and I have never lied to you, not once. So stop and talk to me, or I can continue this run!" Zander knew in reality he could do such, but it was very draining. If he hadn't approached with the aid of stealth, his armor would not weigh him down and so could definitely could continue.

He watched to see if she slowed...

[member="Felicity Mason"]

Felicity was a good bit leas nimble than her uncle. Less stylish in the way she avoided capture. Less experience, after all. She swept through the crowds, turning this way and that to slide through the little holes between bodies, sometimes crawling under people too.
"I just want to talk" the voice in her head said. She didn't believe it for a moment. She turned another corner....
Then she stopped. Dead end. Nowhere to run now. She turned back around, ready to face her uncle.

"H-hi, uncle Z," she stuttered, fiddling nervously with her hands, "what are you doing on Coruscant?"

[member="Zander"]

Zander dropped the 15 feet to land in a low crouch in front of his niece. Clicking his helmet release, a seam appeared vertically along the middle, splitting until each plate swept atop the others, hiding along the nape of his neck. He smiled warmly at the lovely little woman; other than Feena, Felicity was the only being to bring such emotion from the once cold Stealth Master of the Undead.

"Felicity, why did you run from me? Its obvious you knew it was me.." The hurt in his voice was evident, "Also, why have you not talked to your mother or father? They miss you, you know?" He said.

Staring for a long silent moment he continued, "Where is he? Is he on Coruscant? Dont lie to me little one, you know I will find out, just as I have found you. I want to meet this friend of yours that swept you off your feet, and stole you from safety.

"Before you over react, do you remember the time i first brought you you'r dolls? I told your mother then that I wanted to take you with me, to train you and let you see the galaxy. I will never force you to return home, but I will ask you to let me accompany you.."

[member="Felicity Mason"]

Lots of questions. She felt like she was being interrogated. Well, she kinda was. She looked down at the ground, face glowing bright scarlet, eyes dry as bone. She felt angry, but not ashamed.

"Don't lecture me, Uncle Z. I'm not a little girl."

She clenched her fist when he mentioned the boy that 'swept her off her feet'. He had no idea.

"You're not going to hurt Owain. I'm not going to let you. Don't you get it? I wanted to go! I asked him to take me. He didn't 'steal' me from anything."

Yes. She remembered the dolls. She still had them. All of them in her bed room on Naboo. They lined her bookshelf. But Uncle or not, she knew how her family could be. If Uncle Z hurt Owain, she would never forgive him.

[member="Zander"]

Zander slowly rose to his full towering height, a playful grin plastered against his lips still, "Oh? And if I decide to call the full torrent of James Armor Co's capabilities? He would have no defense." Raising a hand in a goofy surrender he continued, "Calm down. Did I say I would hurt him? I said meet him. As well, all 'love birds' are stolen from safety, but swear it was of their own accord! Thats the point of love!

"If you trust me to meet him, I promise on my honor as a Greyson and James alike to bring him no harm - lest he chooses to attempt to engage me." Zander paused to let that soak in, "Felicity i look to you like Keter does, you are more than a niece in ways you wont understand until you are older."

His face softened immensely, "I'm crazy little one, you and your mother are the only ones who make me sane.. I would rather teach this young man how to treat, defend, and love a woman, then take you away from what will make you happy.

Suddenly an odd thought crossed his mind and he snapped, "Also, on a seperate note, do you know any guys in their mid twenties, black hair, above average height, with a scar across their right cheek? I keep having dreams of such a man following you and your mother!" (An IC mention of my upcoming character showing himself)

Shaking his head he chuckled, "Never mind if you havent. I'm kind of frazzled right now. Can we take this some place less..tense?"

[member="Felicity Mason"]

The young fifteen year old girl made a face, her cheeks glowing brighter red than ever before. He thought she...? Her and Owain? In love? Well, yeah, they kissed. But that didn't mean....
she shook her head, gritting her teeth.

"Gross, uncle Z," she snarled, " Owain is not in love with me. It's not like that! "

Of course, She said nothing of her own feelings. The truth was, she wasn't even sure herself if she absolutely couldn't stand Owain, or if she absolutely couldn't live without him. Uncle z was going to hate him, of course, of this she was fairly sure. He was her best friend, and the only person she was going to let near her for a long time. Keep your enemies close, as Daddy always said...

"You promise you aren't gunna hurt him? You have to make a super promise! If you don't, I'll never speak to you again!"

Coruscant

A planet of a million pin points of light on multiple levels, it was a place that never slept a place that one could get anything. Alexis was interested in something sleek, and shining to wear around her neck. The payment from the share croppers on Dagro had arrived in her account and a trinket was in store. She walked casually down the sidewalks looking into the windows of the shop keepers. She was not sure what she searched for but she knew when her gaze fell upon it she would know.

Lights adjusted at such angles made everything look as brilliant as a new credit, the facets sparkled as the prisms reflected off the mirrors. Her caramel colored orbs studied each little piece selected for the window, some were of a rare quality a brilliant fire. Then others lackluster.

She smiled as she walked, the Nightsister was content with her task.

Zander allowed a low elegant bow, "On the very relationship between us Felicity: I promise." He knew one day she would understand what true evil did, what the Sith represented, and how they twisted the minds of those within its walls. For now she would think him a man bent on hurting her friend, but he was no longer that twisted soul. He had been given a second chance. A third actually.

"He may not be, but you did not say your feelings. I have to imagine you would not leave with someone who you had only hatred for." He offered a small smile, then turned and began to walk alongside her down the same long path they ran previously.

"I might have to just show my 'bad assness' if you will allow it. Cant have him thinking im just some shmuck." He outright chuckled at this. She would hopefully see the humor in this, and possibly even allow it.

Uncle Z was going to cramp her style! She groaned and followed him out of the alley, nodding in the direction that she had originally come from. Owain was not going to be happy when she came back with her Uncle. He was already nervous enough around her, she didn't need to bring another space wizard to make him feel even more powerless.

"Just don't be such a show off," she snapped, "Owain isn't a force user. He doesn't understand it. Makes him nervous. Don't scare him away. Please."

[member="Zander"]

Zander laughed out right, "Hun I am no where near what I was. That drop? Hurt like no tomorrow. I am simply adept at doing outrageous things." He shrugged, "I...did a lot of hard to do things." He almost admitted to history of huntin and assassinations, but still couldn't bring himself to do so. He couldn't say for sure if his own sister even knew..

"I wont be to over bearing." Choosing to be silent until they neared the young man. When it was apparent they had neared, he would tap his nape, letting each portion of his helmet unfold until it covered his face again. The seam vanished, bringing his HUD online, with the ever present female voice.

"Zaiden, how are you?"

"Hey Oracle." He murmured, at the same time vanishing from his nieces side. When she looked to finally point the man out, she would see nothing but open air. Stepping silent as the wind to the right, Zander climbed over the railing of the walk way. Lowering until he hung from the metal comprising the platform itself, he used his grip strength to shimmy across until he was near the two of them.

Like this he awaited his nieces admittance that she brought company...

(Lol knowing me, I would likely drag this out waaaaay to long so I figure just skip the walk lmao. My epic entrance will come next post lol.)

"Sure Uncle, sure, and-"
She turned to actually look at the older man and was disappointed to see that he had disappeared.

"Cute, Uncle Z!" she shouted into the nearly deserted alley, "Fine, fine! I get the hint!"

She growled under her breath, stalked down the dark, empty alley, heading for the inn she'd been staying at. Owain was probably not going to be happy with her sneaking off like this. Still, he wasn't her Mother. He had no responsibility for her at all.

"Owain," she called, reaching their rented room and unlocking it, "Are you awake?"

It was still pretty early. If he had stuck around, waiting for her to come back instead of going out to find her, she doubted he would still be sleeping.

Behind the window it sparkled, her eyes would not move from it. She arched a brow and decided to head in now fixed on the gem.

"I'd like to see the necklace in the window"

The shop keeper looked at her, "yes mam a fine choice let me show you"

Alexis looked down at the blood red ruby glistening on black velvet. It was stunning. Breathless. "Can I try it on?" He was hesitant but she was a customer. "Yes"

She reached out picking it up tenderly, " so beautiful, where is it from?"

"Mined from the Hapan cluster. " mined not fabricated. Her interest grew. The description said 2.5 carat. Gold necklace and setting. "How much'" would it be out of her range. She closed her eyes and waited.

Owain

Lord High Grand Commander Esq.
Stealing a princess away had certainly not been something Owain had ever truly entertained the thought of. Still, she was...urgh...a friend, so there as no way he wasn't going to help. Maybe friend was too strong a word? Rival perhaps? That would probably be more accurate. When he awoke to find her gone, he had a moment of panic before clamping down on the sensation. Felicity was a smart girl. She knew better than to go anywhere actually dangerous alone. She had matured to that point at least.

So he set about his morning routine, getting dressed and washing himself. The inn had been able to provide a double room, with two beds so there was no risk of...what had happened en route happening again. The youth groaned at the thought and turned the temperature of his shower to freezing. Much better. Best get over this as quickly as possible. Yes Felicity was cute, and fun, and challenging, but that was it. He hoped.

Ready for the day, he hopped onto the bed and idly pulled out a pulp book he'd purchased at the space port in case of such situations, and settled in to read. It was an hour before she returned.

"Sure," he called back as she entered. "How was your first foray into Coruscant?" he idly asked, eyes flickering to the window. It wasn't an impressive view - just some floating streets and walkways.

[member="Felicity Mason"] [member="Zander Greyson"]

When she stepped in, she found Owain reading. Funny. He didn;t seem the type to take up casual reading. Still, it made her smile. They had more in common than either of them wanted to admit.

"Fine," she answered briskly, opening her bag on her bed, before stuffing her things sitting on the nightstand inside, "Did some exploring, a little shopping... then my Uncle found me."

She shoved a nightgown in her bag now, wadding it into a ball, trying to make it fit in the limited space.

"He said he wants to meet you. Better pack up. We're getting out of here," she closed to buckle on her bag, before clarifying, "He's a space wizard. He can kill you with his brain. Hurry up."
