Anyway You Want It

Sol has to stop himself from pulling up shot and staring at Nyx in utter shock. He actually closes his eyes while running to take a few deep calming breaths. He had absolutely no idea how to answer that statement. "Okay, well when the other three take their shuttle, which is our only way off this station right now, and take off leaving his here. Because you couldn't be stealthy for five minutes we can take solace that you aren't a coward. I mean, we won't get paid and we could be stranded on this station for weeks. But at least you aren't a coward." His voice was as dry as the deserts of Tatooine during summer.

They round the corner and he can see the command centre. Two of the convicts are there, one has acquired some kind of mining exosuit meant for carrying heavy loads out in the void. It was big bulky and slow, but also damn near indestructible and capable of smashing a hole clean through durasteel plating. The other just has a mining laser that looked like it was rigged to be easily used as a weapon. The plasma beam it shot out could slice clean through rock, and flesh, with ease. It was insanely dangerous to use one inside the station one wrong sweep and they might open up the hull depressurizing the whole station as air was sucked out into the void.

They hadn't been spotted just yet and Sol ducks for cover. Then he remembers who he is with and what she just said. "Kark." He mutters as he turns his head wondering just what was about to happen.

Nyx

Insert Hilarious Title Here
"Half the fun is the adrenaline, anyway."
She could tell the other mercenary was not happy with her. That was unfortunate, but she didn't really give a rat's ass. She did things her way, and no one was going to tell her different. Unless her dad told her to. Then she might change it up. Maybe.

She spotted the mercenaries at the same time Sol did, but the two of them had very different reactions. Sol dived for cover, and Nyx did not. She called the Force to her, closing her eyes.
"Hold onto something."
She grabbed onto a doorway, securing herself, and acted. A section of the wall came off, metal screeching as it tore away. She let out a scream of effort as she threw the section of metal, not at the convicts, but at the window of the command center. If this place was like most stations she knew of, the blast shutters would close the windows after a breech. Hopefully after the convicts were sucked out.
Now to see how her impulsive plan worked, or didn't work.

Nyx succeeds in ripping the metal plating from one wall revealing the wiring beneath. "JEDI!" The cry goes up as the mining laser lashes out. The durasteel plate she throws at them is bisected neatly by the mining laser, only half continuing on its intended trajectory. The laser continuing on towards Nyx's head in a deadly arc she'd have to doge.

It smashes hard against the window of the command deck and the glass splinters then breaks. Air is sucked into the void as the man in the suit turns on the magstripe and makes a grab for his friend. He is a fraction too slow and laser guy is sucked into the void.

The blast shutter slams down and the man in the exosuit roars and charges. Unless Nyx neglected to dodge and therefore lost her head, she'd likely still be recovering from both the dodge and the vacuum trying to suck her into space. Meanwhile, Sol takes it on himself to... Leave Nyx to deal with the guy in the exosuit instead charging past him and into the main room. They needed to find the last man before he took their only way off the station.
