Private Apprentice to Flesh

The Congregation, black-eyed and muscle-swollen from the infusion of Dark Side into her body withstood being brutally kicked into the edge of the rooftop barrier, firing bursts of purple lightning as she was flung back. She rebounded instantly, skin rippling disgustingly. This was what it was like to fight an Arianna who had no morals no restraint. The things she would do if she got the actual Arianna's face were obvious.

Vivian's body wasn't healing anywhere near its normal speed, and she had lost a lot of her glowing green blood by the time Draco tackled the Congregation from the side pounding the Force Spawn's ribs even as she tried to close her jaws around The Congregation's throat. But with brute psychotic strength, The Congregation clamped both hands down on Draco's throat even as her own ribs shattered from Draco's, and she had more than enough strength in her Force-Enraged state to choke the life from her attacker.

"I think I'll wear your face when I kill her..." The Congregation cackled as she began to brutally strangle Draco, her own face starting to peel away from her skull, sprouting tiny little tentacles that tried to reach Draco's.

It was the beginnings of a conversion attempt. The Congregation was going to try and biologically reprogram Draco into being a copy of The Congregation...

A fist infused with green lightning slammed into the Congregation's jaw, flinging The Congregation back from Draco before the process could begin, as the Congregation's face needed to be able to latch onto Draco's face to start it.

A Heavily wounded Vivian charged again, punching The Congregation as she rose brutally and repeatedly, desperate to prevent the fight from devolving into X-24's attack on that farm in Logan, the Congregation's partly detached face starting to necrotize from repeated impacts from fists infused with Electric Judgement.

She caught the next bunch and spun kicked Vivian backwards violently, dislocating Vivian's jaw. But Vivian was no ordinary old woman, and even as she was knocked for a loop, her jaw now sagging and stretching her face down as it hung loosely in her head, summoned a dagger of pure Force Light and flung them at her opponent, only for the Congregation to detonate the flung spikes of light mid air with bursts of lightning from her fingertips. Vivian charged, summoning more light daggers as her green blood spilled into the snow on the rooftop, flinging them as The Congregation summoned blades of pure Force Lightning and sprinted at Vivian herself, the two slamming their energy blades into each other repeatedly and brutally as they fought at superhuman speeds.

Vivian gave a scream of agony as lost an arm and a leg, severed at the joints. The Congregation smirked and raised her blades...

Vivian opened her mouth and a massive ray of white light flooded out of it, making the Congregation scream as she caught fire. The expenditure of energy caused Vivian to rapidly age, even as she continued flinging daggers of light into the now-screaming Congregation's burning body.

Vivian was a completely wrinkled old woman by the time the Congregation fell to her knees.

"Draco...you...you have to...kill it with this..." Vivian croaked out, tossing Draco her last conjured dagger of light, almost mummifying herself as she created it. Vivian had zero energy left. This was a Force Spawn when they were completely and utterly drained and had no more energy save to keep breathing and moving. Even if the data was still intact, there was no guarantee Vivian herself had the strength to re-merge.

She was dying.

Vivian watched as her own fingers, slowly but surely started to crumble into dust at the tips. As the Congregation thrashed and burned, discharging heavy bursts of red lightning everywhere in desperation, Vivian began to crawl to the pile of writhing flesh that was Arianna's data in desperation, hoping Draco could finish the job, because Vivian had literally nothing left to fight with.

Even as she crawled, more of her turned to dust. She fought to keep it intact, at least long enough to reach the data, to keep her soul churning in rapidly burning up cells as more of her crumbled away in the snow. If she turned completely to dust, her soul would be pulled into the Netherworld of The Force, where she risked being dissolved back into it. Even if she wasn't, there was no guarantee she would ever be able to escape again once she was there. Once a Force Spawn was genuinely dead, it was extremely rare for them to be able to come back completely on their own. The Paranoia came from them leaving parts of themselves behind that could be used to make a new body.

Vivian's lower half broke off and crumbled into dust as she dragged herself with her remaining, now rapidly crumbling arm, barely managing to reach it and slamming her crumbling arm into the flesh pile, too weak to know how things were playing out with Draco Miles Draco Miles as the blob of data began to spread over her mummified body...

Rage. All she could feel as she lost control and savagely pounded at The Congregation, the recent events through its time on Khemost boiling over as a more primal instinct took over. Her form collapsing as her fists opened to palms, and her nails dug into the flesh of The Congregation. Even with the life being choked out of Draco, she kept her snarl going as her neck muscles flexing barely kept her wind pipe from being crushed while Draco held back one arm of her opponent's and the other clawed at her chest, looking to spill green blood and tear open this force spawn through more violent means, not even registering the conversion attempt and just wanting The Congregation DEAD.

What really came as a shock was when Vivian had came back from what she had assumed was the dead, watching as her master repeatedly slammed her fist into the enemy's face over and over again and scrambling to join in before Vivian got spin kicked away, sprinting on all fours and launching herself at them as that knife fight broke out, tackling The Congregation to the ground after Vivian got her leg and arm severed, almost like a certain Chosen One on Mustafar. She wanted to prevent their fight from continuing and had a decent plan to do as such while their enemy would be dazed with the wind knocked out of them. Stepping away, she'd rejoin by the side of Vivian, her dress tattered and torn, practically in rags as she reached her hand out to her master, wanting a weapon of her own to fight with due to the lack of weaponry making this so much more difficult than usual, unable to even take her eyes off the congregation for even a second as she embedded herself further and further into the dark side, needing more power to destroy her enemies and protect all she held dear

Even as the Data refused with her Vivian felt horror as she felt Draco Miles Draco Miles slipping further into the darkness. All to protect her.

In spite of her weakening state, Vivian sent out a message.

Draco, no, calm yourself... Vivian said. You're giving the Congregation what she wants. Enemies like this...you need the light to finish them off...

Vivian sent another thought.

Here is your first lesson in the light...you must think of others to protect. I know it will be difficult. I know you want to protect me with everything you have...

...but you must take yourself out of the equation. You must take even me out of it and focus on stopping the evil she represents. Because if she lives past today, she will use my power and yours to create a thousand more versions of you, repeating the tragedies that dominated your early existence ad infinitum.

Please Draco...fight for the light I know exists within you. Don't go down the path of the 'real' Arianna! Vivian pleaded, getting enough of her strength back, half of her face Arianna's as she fired a weak green bolt of electric judgement -light side lightning-to show the way to Draco. To light up her soul.

To give her hope and light and resolve in the face of the abomination that charged at them both, snarling, flesh warped beyond measure as she bore down to try and kill and absorb them both ...

Focus purely on stopping her... on severing her from the force, maybe? For the first time in Arianna's teachings, did Draco feel lost, not understanding the lesson being taught by Arianna Belasko Arianna Belasko nor how to separate herself from her mind or the force... but that demonstration with the force lightning was enough for her to feel it, to feel the flow of electric judgement and understood that this power was not what came within, but from around. She felt the flow of The Force and instead of channeling it through herself, she felt its flow, felt it condensing around The Congregation, and understood the way to defeat this gluttonous monster was to satisfy its urges. Reaching out, Draco felt the entirety of The Congregation's force emitting with rage, and grasped it, tightly holding onto it and restraining her before forcing the area to surge. With the pieces set, Draco would lift her hand, her index finger lazily pointing before igniting the catalyst for the force, Electric Judgement raining down from the sky as Draco roared out with a voice far deeper than her usual one, which echoed across the rooftop with a glorious ring akin to how one would imagine a command from the gods

"Heir kommt die Sonneee!!!"

Here comes the sun. A blinding, holy light which burned away the darkness of The Congregation and rid its evil from the world, rid the entire galaxy of the prospect for a biblically accurate Countess Belasko

The Congregation, not expecting the burst of power from Draco, screamed as she fought back against the judgement. But the Light's will would not be thwarted. Not today.

The Congregation violently exploded from the hit, cracks of green light appeared all over her screaming face and body at first. But then she was a cloud of white and yellow gore that burned to purple ash upon hitting the ground.

Vivian rose, flesh overcoming her features as Arianna reformed, quite emaciated looking. She staggered over to a lamp fixture and drained it, reforging her healthy appearance.

But this was a different Arianna now.

A softer Arianna.

An Arianna who was willing to change.

"Draco." Arianna said softly, going over to her apprentice, now something like a daughter to her.

"I'm so deeply, incredibly proud of you..." Arianna said. "Draco...thank you for not succumbing to the darkness...

Without hesitation, Arianna hugged the young woman who had saved her life just now...

"We must depart from here. There is much to discuss..." Arianna said quietly...

It was all she had left, like a honeybee with its stinger, Draco had given all of herself to the will of The Force, the exertion she had put devoting herself to the light worth it as she shakily turned around, facing and hearing Arianna Belasko Arianna Belasko as she was praised, exactly what she was wanting in this moment, to know her Master was alright and immensely proud of her. As her Master's arms wrapped around her, she couldn't even bring herself to raise her arms as she sunk into it, deeper and deeper as a heavy exhaustion overcame her, adrenaline wearing off and the toll of using so much lightning took its toll

"I... lo--"

Speaking over Arianna's last sentence, as if she didn't even comprehend that anything was said at all, and with only those two syllables she collapsed her full weight on top of Arianna, the 6'11" beast of a woman giving in to her exhaustion now that the fight was over and needing to be escorted back. The charred dress she wore certainly in tatters and the full extent of the damage she took from absorbing all that lightning definitely easily noticeable now, as those sapphire scales would bend and pulse, the soft flesh underneath her natural armor charred black as it pulsed along her entire body, a network of burst blood vessels across her entire body leading to a significant amount of internal bleeding, thankfully at least it was recoverable with medical prevention

"I know, Draco..." Arianna said quietly as Draco Miles Draco Miles fell completely unconscious in her arms. The Drake had been given the fight of her life, and she had not been found wanting...

But she has been pushed past her current limits. She needed time to recover.

"And someday, Draco..." The new Arianna vowed to her future adopted daughter...

"Someday...I'm going to be worthy of that love..."

The Sorceress, forever altered by her realizations, used magic to hide their departure from that mall rooftop, all while she battles the disgust at what her House, her daughter, had slowly become over the years. With her being a bystander.

She had been th worst mother imaginable to Laertia, and had utterly failed her.

She couldn't fail with Draco.

Not again.

This time, she would do something different then being a rich opportunist.

She would be a rich opportunist striking a blow against the evil she had fostered...

And she had the perfect candidate to go to for help in executing her new vision...of saving the ones who could be and wanted to be saved...

Regardless, Draco would play a vital role in coming events...
