- One Sun - Historically, the star in the system was not named by the original Sith Empire or its subsequent successors. Even during the Tenth Sith Empire, when Darth Arcanix first took control of the planet, a name was not selected for the star. However, upon reclaiming the world from the Ashlan Crusade and the re-establishment of control over the planet, the star has been given an official designation to honor the Exiles that formed the first Empire.

- Two Moons - Historically, the moons of Ziost held little interest to the inhabitants of the planet or the various Sith Empires that have claimed the world. While the indifference to the moons continues into the modern era, the Sith on the planet under the direction of Darth Arcanix have begun preparing plans to survey the moons in the coming year for potential uses and development.
- Orbital Position - Ziost is the only planet within the system, maintaining a distant orbit around Ajunta near the edge of its habitable zone.
