She breathed hard. Blood still trickled from her nose and an odd layer of smoke had begun to fill the room. She looked about, not seeing the Sith anywhere, the woman seemingly having disappeared.

Aela's eyes shot around the room, gaze fluttering from place to place. To her siblings, to the others, then to the communicator on the floor. She saw the broken piece of electronic, letting out a loud curse as she noticed its state of disrepair. Her eyes shot upward towards the grate that Mara had used, frowning slightly as she looked over towards the others.

It was time to go.

There was still fighting, and off in the distance she could sense it, death, evil, destructio-

Aela stopped suddenly, her gaze shifting over towards another direction. The force poked at her, prickling across her mind as if it was trying to tell her something. She shifted slightly, feeling a familiarity in the distance. She gave an odd look, then shook her head, remembering where they were.

“Micah, Kaili, Laura, Everyone!” She shouted, trying to catch their attention. “It's time to go.”

Aela gesture furiously towards the grate. “My mother will be waiting for us, hurry!”

She clutched her lightsaber. They had a long way to go to the landing pad, and if they stayed here they would likely only encounter more trouble. It was time to get out.

His hand blocked her blow, paint came right of his beskar gauntlet as it did some tingled in the back of her head. Then she saw a flash of light, she swept her lightsabers round, to block water ever it was coming at her. Bit's came through, they were red hot burnt. She screamed in pain, and her eyes turned dark and yellowley as a result. She then landed in a heap near the man, and in the pain a force rage began to swell inside her. She then rose up and leapt at him trying to pierce his durasteel armour with her lightsabers. The pain was intense, but that only fueled the rage, and the darkside was grown inside her with it. The rules life was always simple, never anger a sith, never hurt a woman, and may force help you if she was both. He had done both, her wounds were cauterized with heat, but the pain was there and it angered.

As the Sith darted off wherever, Mara finished cutting through the obstacle that Ayra had deployed. Aela's summons was just in time: Mara had just finished clearing the way. The last few chunks of glow-edged metal fell away, and Mara deactivated her sabre. "Way's clear!" she called to the pack, gesturing to the passage that would, in due course, lead them to the evac ship in B6. Nearby, some troopers and a Sith were fighting, but not too terribly close. "Come on! Nice hit, Na'Varro!"

She was still the better part of euphoric, plus pheromones. When Laura passed her on the way out, Mara would offer a high-five commensurate with having struck a Sith Master with a lightsabre in open combat.

She took the Dragon's breath round, hmm, the Force does not protect as it seems. She was mad now, and smoke and sparks were still rising from her body when she was able to rise up despite the pain and injuries and leaped at me with her lightsabers. I had barely had enough time to holster my right hand weapon when she did so. I called upon my speed and quickness, brought on by powerful cybernetics, but even then she had taken me off guard. I had been sure after taking magnesium shards she would be out like a light. Her lightsaber caught me in the side, scorching the Phrik plates, deflecting the blade at and tearing into the armor-glove, searing flesh and muscle. It hurt like hell, and I stumbled back a little from her, but I wasn't quite out.

The wound weakened my left side, and it would be difficult to through full strength punches from that side, but that wasn't the plan just yet. I re-assumed my peek-a-boo stance, and with a quick command the SRSN came on, sending out ear-piercing beeps in several short durations hoping to disorient her while a big armored right hand lashed out at her head.

OOC Note
The SRSN has a pretty fluctuating range of effect. It can be as little as an annoying ringing in the ear for some folks, as much as debilitating vertigo for others. Its also really easily countered by ear protection, but its fancy so I wanted to use it, even if it don't do nothing.

Cat and mouse was Sage's favorite game, and right now he was merely sharpening his claws, warming up for the main event. He had so much more in store for the Jedi. The man had countless demons begging to be let loose, and Sage would thoroughly enjoy setting them free. The boy's eyes widened in terror at the mass suicide of his technicians. Inhaling deeply, Sage drank in the Padawan's fear like a sweet sangria. His panic was euphorically palatable. Shortly thereafter, the Jedi's fear turned to anger, and it pleased Sage to see the boy so quickly turn to the very emotion that Jedi Masters warned their pupils about.

When the Padawan swung his lightsaber for a valiant assault on Sage's arm, the young Jedi would find the sentient tentacles to be resistant to the weapon. Their thick hides withstood blow after blow, and ultimately the attack only enraged the writhing amphistaves. By the time that the Jedi wizened up, the trio struck out again like whips, their strength preternatural, attempting to knock the Padawan clear across the room.

"Give me a challenge next time, Jedi." he spat.

Sage gazed at the Jedi with a disinterested expression and flicked on his commlink. He set it to the channel that corresponded to [member="Vrag"]'s oggzil. The Sith Knight had recently begun to train with the Hand of the Dark Lord, and he found it endlessly enjoyable to pester his new Master. He smiled as he cooed into the commlink.

"Hey. Vrag. Hey. Hey Vrag. You there? I have a really important question."

"What are you wearing right now?"

The remaining technicians stood by, frozen, with mouths agape.

Objective: Defend!
Allies: Soresu
Enemies: Makashi

Phylis kept her body language calm, her demeanour relaxed. She never broke eye contact with the Sith. This was the way of a Jedi, to face danger bravely, yet not recklessly.
As she had often taught, Makashi and Soresu were very much opposed forms. Makashi favoured the point over the edge, movement and attack, using delicate feints and ripostes. Soresu on the other hand was defensive to a point, using deflections and the edge, waiting for an opening. It was a good defensive form, but it was not impossible to attack with though.

She saw the movement before it happened, a flicker in his eye, a warning of the Force. When his blade stabbed at her chest then flicked at her hand, she was prepared.
Trading space for time she stepped back and deflected the blade’s slash aside with her own. Then she brought her weapon up to the ready position again.

She made no counter attack. It was the measure of an opponent to see how they would handle being thwarted a few times. Many would become enraged and attack furiously, leaving themselves open, but the Jedi suspected this fish was not prone to flights of wild emotion.

Her blades hit into his left hand side, and smell of burning flesh other than her own entered her nose. She felt nothing though, but the rage the force had drawn her into. It was consuming her and sustaining her, without it she be dead on the floor. As she drew her blade out of him, he stumbled back. She crossed her arms, so she could swipe at him from both directions at once. he pulled another weapon, she did not see it neither did she care. As swung both arms towards him, he fired at her. The blast was was pure noise, it caused her to cringe and drop a blade. She lost her focus but only temporarily, she then instinctively cut out at his armoured hand coming towards her head. Her blade was aiming towards his elbow......

Kian watched as the Lords approached, clouds of darkness could be felt emanating from them. Kian believed in redemption, but if anyone could be said to be so far gone, he had to think it were Sith such as these. They felt....wrong. Then the first attack came, sure and swift from [member="Reverance"], his blade diving at Kian in a precise attack at his left. Kian's blade rose to meet it but found swiftly that the attack was merely a feint.....a feint that very well might have touched flesh had it not been for the timely attack of [member="Ryan Korr"]. Korr's attack forced the attacking Sith back on the defensive, but the momentum of Korr's attack was quickly broken by [member="Matsu Xiangu"]'s deft block and force shove. Kian, seeing an opening brought his blade up to strike at the female Sith while he could, but was quickly pushed back on the defensive himself, as the expert footwork of the Makashi wielding Sith brought him around in an attack.

Kian had heard of the swordsmanship of Reverance from his friend Kana Truden many years back. She was one of the few Jedi who wielded the second form of lightsaber combat, and Kian valued her skills with a blade greatly. When she'd spoken of his skill with a lightsaber on Kashyyyk it was with a respect that transferred to Kian. He wouldn't be underestimating the Sith Lord. Reverance's attack, meant to bisect Kian at the waist, was met by Kian's silver blade. Kian dropped his blade down and brought it across in a simple block. That was Kian's style. There was no flourishing, or embellishment. His variant of Shien was heavily laden with the philosophy that simple was best. As his blade met the blade of the Sith Lord's wicked weapon, Kian felt his arms take the impact with a thud. He struck with greater strength than he would expect from a Makashi wielder.

However, Kian didn't have long to think on this, as he suddenly felt the stirring in the force of a telekinetic attack. Kian braced himself, both physically and in the force, and found himself sliding a few meters back on the smooth floor, the resistance of his boots not enough to keep him in place, but his exertion in the force keeping him from flying back uncontrollably.

Kian, not liking the defensive nature of the fight so far, rushed back towards the Sith Lord. The Kel Dor brought his blade up and slashed at the Sith's side, stepping to his left as he did, driving the tip of his blade toward ribs of the man. As he did this, Kian stretched out with the force, grappling at [member="Matsu Xiangu"]'s legs with a tug. He couldn't put his full focus on the telekinetic attack, not with his combatant so close, but he could, hopefully, aid in Jedi Korr's recovery.

She had to be here somewhere, even if wasn't. After Oberaan, Sitara simply couldn't resist hoping for the older woman's return. She may have been unsuccessful at fully provoking the older woman there; but hopefully she'd run into her here again. She was going through luck here; not really sure if the older woman was here. There was chaos all around her and she was unsure about her pursuits. Perhaps she should stay in one place and wait for someone to pick a fight with her, but she knew she was running out of time. There was a mission to be done here.

People were getting their hands busy. She darted past a few people and made her way through the rundown halls. This place was going to be a total mess when everyone was done with it. It was already chaotic as it was and she could hear the different symphonies of blasters shooting through the air. She could feel her blood pumping through her bones. So many forces were marching through the different areas.

She had to remain calm. The lightsaber snapped to life in her hand, a combination of a bright magenta coloured glow with what seemed like electricity running in between. She was on a mission, one that she decided on at the very last minute. Hey, if she were to commit a hefty crime against the republic, now was a good time right?

She dropped a lightsaber from the disorientation of the SRSN module. If I had time I would have smiled to myself. I had her on the ropes, and even though she got in some good hits, it was going south for her fast. The next few tricks were going to be worse. Just then she flicked her lightsaber up to meet my arm, catching my armor glove in the elbow. This time it wasn't as strong a slash and didn't tear through the glove, but it still burnt the arm on the inside. I had to jerk my arm backwards away from her to keep from loosing control of the appendage all together, and that wouldn't be good in the middle of a fight. She was gonna be able to keep me from boxing with her with that flashy plasma sword, but I still had phase two of that plan locked and loaded and ready to go.

Up close and personal she had the use of a lightsaber, but I had a dozen toys to play with that would all hurt her, but wouldn't do much to me. The SRSN was just the first of many. The next she was going to be playing with was the ZX miniature flame projector currently aimed in her general direction, mounted on my right gauntlet. She was already hurt, and fire was one of my favorites to turn on people. With a simple single uttered word "Burn" the projector ejected a stream of burning liquid. How is she gonna handle this toy, I thought.

The Sith Nef had just crossed blades with mysteriously disappeared.
"WHOA!" She yelled as the chunk of permacrete flew at her. Her second lightsaber quickly ignited and quickly reduced the chunk to rubble.

Extinguishing both blades, Nefertari didn't even notice [member="Cameron Centurion"]'s presence.
She returned both hilts to her belt and began to make her way with the kids.

The smell of the smoke from the bushes blended with the aroma of cheap food.
Ugh, what a horrid scent
Nefertari now resolved to get out of there as quick as possible, her resistance to the obvious Marcan herb was weakening. Why the Hutts liked it was anybody's guess.

If either Sith in the room were to challenge Nef, now would be their chance.

Athena Heron said:
"Come, jedi. Tell me your fears," the Omwatti's quiet voice whispered like a bird's wings along the wind but did not get lost among the clashing sounds of battling droids, vong, and extraneous forces. With tendrils of the darkside, she mentally reached forward and sought to brush along the edges of Dair's mind, searching for memories, fears, and perhaps even plucking his name.
'Come, Jedi. Tell me your fears.' Dair repeated in his own mind. The clarity offered to him from having sunk his mind into the icy essence that was his connection to the Force allowed him to tumble the Siths words in his mind over and over in the span of a single axon firing. She would sense this as she brushed her dark tendrils along the edges of his mind. She would learn the name Dair Cotarin as his own name and might even learn the names [member="sayl bane"] and [member="sage bane"] if such thoughts could be said to remain in the air around a persons mind for minutes after he had the thoughts. All else would be ice, his mind was within the icy essence at the center of himself. Not quite a blizzard yet, but it would seem that Dair kept his mind in a near constant state of defense, though it would likely be deduced that being in a battle against Sith would have caused this precaution. She would be able to sense that his mind was not on full defense, but a partially defense, like readying an action to go full defense mentally.

"I am Dair, Padawan of the Jedi Order." He would reply to her words. Akin to her own, which could be heard over the din of battle on avian wings, his own would veritably thrum beneath the din of battle, travelling through the deck plates and be felt in the chest of those nearby. He stepped a little closer, holding the ice blue blade of Winter in a defensive stance horizontally across his body. He knew that he should just attack her, it is what the Galactic Republic war machine would expect of him, but he felt that he had to give this acolyte the option of surrender. "You can turn from the darkness, you do not have to let it control you. Surrender, you will be safe. You do not need to be a jedi but renounce the Sith, renounce their evil." He took another step closer, the Vong throng melted away from both of them, as a rock parts the rushing waters of a river. He had given her a chance to surrender, the ball was in her court. She would likely only get the one chance from the young Valkyr Jedi.

Des was not entirely surprised by the weapon's resistance to his strikes. After all, who would fight a Jedi with a breakable sword? But he was still caught off guard by the triple threat's sudden lash out, like a trio of attacking snakes. Somehow, Des managed to bring his lightsaber around in a wide, battering arc to beat aside their primary strike, but the force of impact was not lessened by even a bit, and Des found himself sailing back.

He landed on his back, lightsaber still firmly clutched in his hand even as the blade vanished with a hiss, sliding the rest of the way across the tiled floor until he came to a stop against the far wall, among the incredulous technicians. The would-be Jedi grunted and picked himself up. Apparently this Sith was toying with him, allowing him the time to recover as he mocked another over his commlink. That suited Des fine, and if it was some kind of code speak for calling back up or coordinating strikes, there was little he could do to stop it anyway. Even if the Sith had back up, Des' situation could hardly get worse than it already was.

"You want a challenge?" he breathed heavily, panting as he stood up. "There's Jedi all over Telti. Even if you kill me, there will be a dozen more. What, do you feel proud for stomping on a Padawan like some sort of school yard bully, huh?" Slowly stepping forward, he had to smile to himself between a broken lip. "Back home, there was this bully once. Thought he could get away with it cause his dad was the Ghôsh leader. Guess what happened to him." Des had fought this other boy, and in the fight an accident had happened. The boy had died, and Des was alive, for however long. Other than buying time, Des didn't know why he confided in this Sith. Perhaps impending death made him more talkative. Perhaps he thought foolishly he could intimidate this man.

Des' anger was no longer so acute, but in its place had come a resolve. He would not stand down. He would not waver. For the first time since he'd been taken away from Haruun Kal, Des Kovak felt like a Jedi. The white blade of his lightsaber reignited with a snap, casting Des' dark skin in a bright light. "Come on then, bully. Do your worst."

Before the crimson tip of his blade could meet the Jedi Master’s lightsaber hilt, the step back moved the woman out of Avreet’s range, leaving the two unable to attack the other’s body. An optimal move on her part, certainly, a defensive way that either showed Avreet the woman wanted to wear him out or planned to see his moves and tactic before striking. The blades that could not reach the other’s hands either cut through empty air or clashed together in an impressive spectacle of red and green lights kissing each other, sparkling white and illuminating much of the poor-lit area around them in the same colour. The light disappeared almost as soon as it appeared though, immediately as their blades parted after the Jedi Master pushed his lightsaber to the side, to which he responded by retracting his hand again, pulling the weapon away before the woman could lock their plasma blades together. His first strike might have not been successful, yet he still emerged victorious in a way.

The Sith Lord’s eyes finally moved, swivelling to observe the delicate work of his opponent’s hands and arms. Soresu! Now he was certain of it. As his mind raced in search of any of his past opponents using the same form of lightsaber combat, Avreet started to pace around again, this time in the opposite direction. One might notice his steps grew shorter, closing much less distance than before. The way he held his weapon has also changed; instead of pointing it at the woman, the weapon remained lowered and held beside his body, its tip aimed at the floor similarly to the opening stance. It is worth noting the second lightsaber on his belt remained silent – his respect for the Jedi forbade him from storming her with two weapons against her single blade.

It was time to take a greater risk. One step forward, he approached. This time with no delay, no waiting. His body remained safely out of her range still thanks to the superior reach his Makashi offered, his feet ready to retreat, yet they made a second step in her direction. The weapon in his hand already moved in an upwards motion, whizzing through the air in a warning as Avreet brought the blade up diagonally, from left to right, moving it to deliver a light cut across his opponent’s right knee and left thigh. Aside from foregoing the jabs and cuts Makashi was famous for, the Sith Lord also pretended no feint, no trick this time. Despite that, it remained an easy attack to dodge, almost too easy. That was why another strike followed immediately after, connecting to the first almost seamlessly. The cut, although a real attack, was finished with the Sith pulling his hand back, a movement that became a jab as he thrust it back towards the woman, this attack destined to sink into the woman's left hand should he be swift enough.

Travot regarded the two newcomers standing in front of him carefully; there was something oddly similar about the two of them, aside from being Sith. His green eyes darted among their bodies, his eye especially taking notice of the vong technology the lady in front of him wore; he had heard many things of it, but it was the first time he had ever actually seen any in person. While he had seen many strange and frightening things living life out on the fringes of civilization, the sight of these two twins probably almost unnerved him. There was something unnatural about their whole appearance. Something unnatural about their whole presence, something that almost seemed tangible to the padawan.

Travot clutched his lightsaber high to its hilt and tapped its activation button. From the silver hilt a blue blade sprang forth; one who's color reminded him of the placid seas of Alkesh IV. He pulled the saber back close to the centerline of his body, strategically placing it to better defend himself in the natural arcs of a Soresu pracitioner. Ravenna took care to align his right foot to point towards the dastardly duo, while letting his left foot fall back behind it and at a noticeable angle. Travot really only knew Soresu, he knew it well. He began to breathe in deeply, letting the Force flow through his body to guide his actions to come, even as the other padawans around him readied for battle.

Kaia heard the lightsabres hiss to life, and drew a deep breath to quell her initial shock. The exhale brought her back to focus.

“It seems bad things are happening all around. We can never catch a break, can we?”

She whirled around, positioning herself in the Jedi Ready. One leg thrown back, her lightsabre springing to life in her hands. She it held vertical and parallel to her body, the blade casting off a bright sky-blue hue. She needed only one glance to see what stood before them. She could see the darkness seethe from their very essence, and she knew that she and her newfound friends were in deep, disgusting poodoo.

Kaia was not an experienced duelist, having only ever really had a thorough introduction in the most basic matters of Shii-Cho and how to maintain a good defence. However, she was filled with a stalwart resolve to face the terror before them, to protect and hopefully to survive. A small smile appeared on her lips, once again making dimples in her soft cheeks as the force flowed through her.

Phylis too paced, moving back ever so slightly so that they remained just a little further apart than was immediately apparent. Space was everything with a duel such as this.
The Jedi Master’s gaze flicked over the area. It was tempting to call on the Force to smite the Sith with telekinetic or other power, but she conserved her strength.

In any case, Veles moved fast, his blade cutting in low, and she blocked it with an angled diagonal swipe. His riposte though was very swift indeed, and she barely pulled her hand out of the way in time, her brown cloth sleeve smoking slightly from where it had been cut rather than her hand.

Still, his attack finished, she retaliated this time. Pushing his blade aside she sliced across and down at his forearm, and when he moved to parry she would sweep the blade up at his abdomen and chest.

==The Sith Acolyte stood as the four droids circled her. Her breathing was slightly ragged, her heartbeat though, was even and slow. She was aware of her body's reactions to the danger – and in control.

Two of the droids – Huey and Dewey, she had silently named them – were within her reach. The other two – Louie and Phooey – were not, and had moved behind her. It did not matter; through her awareness of the Force she could sense their movements as plainly as if she had eyes in the back of her head.

Ali watched blood burst from the Sith woman's thigh through her visor; it misted just slightly in the air before fading away. The woman moved as a blur, like a hand woven in darkness. Ali's eyes struggled to follow her foe, but targeting system had no trouble keeping up. Her long-developed reflexes kept her tracing fire just slightly ahead of her target's vector of travel. Rounds fled through the air toward her foe, peppering the ferocrete floor and surrounding objects and surfaces, though Ali's shot groups were plenty tight. Suddenly, the Sith woman ceased her maneuvers and Ali took the opportunity to yank a flashbang grenade from her utility belt and activate its pressure charge. She flung the object into the air, lobbing it over her cover and ducking downward. The grenade tumbled end over end, ready to dispense it's charge at any physical barrier it struck, to include the sudden pressures of telekinetic Force Abilities. The grenade's base charge, however, would blow in 3-5 seconds.

The injured YVH-2 droid, "Baker" dropped to one knee as the lightsaber deactivated, leaving behind a round hole that bore through the machine's left side. The laminanium began filling the damage from its metallic reserves, though the damage to the leg control unit could not be undone without maintenance. The droid brought up its weapon arm as it dropped to its knee, blasting away at the moving blur with a sustained stream of fire that would surely keep the woman moving. YVH-2 "Able" poured its own fire at the woman as well. Droids "Charlie" and "Dog" maneuvered themselves away from one another, keeping out of "Able" and "Baker's" lines of fire, and brought up weapons of their own: Coma gas canister launchers.
At this time, Ali's flashbang was tumbling through the air, and it was now that the two droid's fired gas canisters at the woman with dull thwumps. The canisters struck the ferrocrete floor with a clatter and fire burst out from their posterior portions. Coma gas began spewing out of both canisters in the form of a thick, almost viscous smoke that began to fill the air. Ali's helmet filters would protect her from its affects, and the droids were immune, though were was a risk to the chamber's other combatants, particularly the children, if they strayed into the air. Minor affects would be decreased lung capacity, dizziness, blurred vision, and sluggish cognitive function.

NPC PC Allies -- Jedi Master Kira Talith nee Liadain
Location: @ B6 Spacesport
Objective: MY BABIES!!!!! Moving closer to C6.

Things were chaotic. A volley of blaster fire sweeping down the corridor as refugees and frightened sentients would surge forward towards the small spaceport. Cloaked and invisible in the Force, the five foot tall Jedi Master would weave and make her way through the sea of bodies.

A squad of bucketheads came to view, and their blaster rifles came up to send another volley of blaster fire down range.

Oh no, not on her watch.

A sudden lash of the Force would sweep the area in a massive static display of the might of a specialist support user. The tiny blonde would appear between them, and her hands would rise only to sharply fall as the scent of ozone and electricity would crackle in an immense stasis field.

This would immediately root them into place; frozen completely still in the binds of the Force. Stunned in a nonharmful catatonic state, they would remain so for a short period of time.

It would be enough for her to continue her quest and move to find the younglings and her children.

He didn't need to be told twice.

A flick of his wrist would send the canister to the direction the Sith had fled. He didn't bother to see if it hit, he was already moving sure footed across the tree branch. Sinew would flex and muscles would coil as he would leap, landing in a roll with a small grunt and popping back up to his feet beside Laura.

"Go go go!" he'd call the rest of the younglings, waving them through to push forward through the entrance Mara had made for them. It was then Micah caught the sway of Laura's ponytail again, the scent of her shampoo, the way her eyes would --

He barely caught himself leaning forward towards her before he shook his head. Nothing but Zeltron and pheromone hoodoo, focus Draith!

He would secure the rear, sweeping his eyes back and forth as he'd back towards the opening. That presence would ever linger, and for a fleeting moment, through the smoke and the haze of mess McYoda's was left in, he thought he saw the glowering visage of a dark looming face in the distance.

Or that could very well just be the smoke in his eyes.
