Description:
Created by and used by the great master Bastila Shan, this light saber has seen many days. For some this Jedi Master relied upon a single bladed lightsaber, until she chose to diversify her armory and rely primarily upon the double bladed lightsaber. What exactly happened to this weapon after her death is rather unclear. However, the weapon did fall into the hands of private collectors. For several ages, this blade passed from owner to owner as they died from causes--natural or otherwise. During the Gulag Plague, this weapon was lost amid the chaos of it all.
Looting, a lack of digital data, and general control, made this weapon assume the role it had before of a common weapon in the hands of the rabble. A crime lord who's name is lost to time along the wild space was documented through sporadic data to have owned this weapon and even used it to dispatch his political enemies. Yikes.
As all evil regimes, this drug lord died, and once more Bastila Shan's lightsaber was lost to the mists of time. When it surfaced again was an act of the Force, or dumb luck. A studious bookworm found the object for sale at a common flee market and recognized it as Bastila Shan's weapon. After buying it, he had it positively identified and sold for a few million credits. The purchaser was Thaliss, another drug lord who had stationed himself on Naboo, following the fall of the Techno Union. Amid this portly lord's personal ownership this article would have remained if Ardgal and his Alpha Company had not been called in to remove Thaliss' presence on Naboo. Amid the cleaning up, the general found the weapon and took it, along with the jewelry it was stored alongside.
