Been a Long Time

It had been awhile since she had seen her padawan Quinn but the jedi knight was ready to begin so she could prepare with all of it. To give her a few ideas about what kind of jedi she might want to be while Nico moved around here on Shri-Tal. The upgrading and renovations of both the temple and the planet were bringing a lot. The Emperor had agreed to these upgrades on the planet to improve the quality of lives on it, the jedi themselves were using them to make better areas of the academy as they were renovating the underground systems of the planet to develop it in all new ways. SHe was in the room to work with her padawan while wearing the new dance suit. She could fit in it and while it hugged all the paces making her at times self conscious she was prepared to take that. Joza hadn't seemed to mind and Lily never wondered or questioned her about it... so good day all around. "Are you ready to begin padawan?"

"Yes master." She said entering dressed in leggings and a crop top ready to go

Nico was all ready, standing there for a moment as she tested her gauntlets and the twin blades on one activated witha double snap hiss. The rainbow blades randoming changing color before she checked her lightshields and personal shields that were developed with them. Made to be just that and screw with others it was well worth it so she would be able to protect herself in combat deploying and using a lightshield against the other saber wielders. Looking at Quinn though as she was standing there... Nico started it as the pop came and on the other arm she had her lightshield ready to defend herself against her padawans strikes as she spoke. "Alright then come at me when you are ready."

Quinn would pull her saberstaff from her belt and ignite both violet blades and come at her master

Nico watched her saber staff come out and she was prepared, the shield and sabers of her gauntlets looking to defend and give a fighting motion she could do. She breathed in and out feeling the bodysuit that she was wearing while she moved towards her padawan with a saber coming up to casually slash at her padawan. Focused and ready when she was using the movement to build up speed with a lot of the power coming from the inertia that she was able to increase her speed and her strength.

Quinn would block the blade and corkscrew over her master trying to get the upper hand

Nico stayed with it and was watching her, Quinn jumping over her was dangerous as she could easily switch and slash her exposed body when she was in the air. "Jumps are dangerous padawan, over your opponent is even worse if you are not careful about it." She was looking at it and prepared with a lot of it as she moved holding her arms to the side and jsut a little bit back prepared to work on it when she moved forward again closing the distance and using her speed to slash and carry her body through as the bodysuit pulsed with the force energies.

Quinn would have her saberstaff spinning ready to deflect the blade and she would make note of her masters words

Nico stayed with it watching her padawan while she was moving and brought her shielded arm up to bash with it. "Keep moving,the form you wished to learn is about movement, frantic and able to go around an environment and area instead of just standing in one place." Nico was trying to work with it as she was letting her movements get faster with the force speed as she slashed again staying with her.

Quinn would move quickly engaging her master before backing off and moving around her and attacking again using both blades

Nico watched her and pushed back on the first strike letting herself give a few ideas as she moved bringing her sabers and shield up to defend and counter attack. Nico worked to maintaina saber lock going down quickly to try and trip her up then move back and go in for a series of kata strikes to test her defenses and her eyes remained with her senses trained on the padawan.

Quinn would leap over the blade and then begin using both blades to block her masters while still moving

Nico moved watching Quinn and she was going alright but she needed to keep it going. The jedi moving as she changed the movements from what she could do and backed away running as she started hopping from the wall towards Quinn and kicking off of the force energies she could use to distort herself. She was bouncing around and making her bashes with the shield and slashes with the blade more careful and focused while she watched her using the force to guide her movements

Quinn would block the first few slashes but then find herself unable to block one

Nico kept at it, moving quickly as she allowed the force to send her around to go over and keep jumping around. Her padawan had been seeking to learn the skills of Ateru and she was not working on many of the things. She was moving but not using her skills with the force and it was making her look sluggish compared to Nico who could navigate around and move with her saber and shields adjusting.

Quinn would quickly figure out what was happening and adjust accordingly using her little knowledge of the force to send herself flying

Nico watched her padawan go up into the air as she moved to the ground and kept moving using the force. You could fly if you wanted to but you needed to knwo what you were doing with it. "Control Quinn, you need to have the control." Nico focused the force and pulled to disrupt and move to slam her from the air with the force while she moved in to slash and attack at her.

Quinn would be caught off guard by this but she would parry the blade and then would flip over the top of her master while spinning her saberstaff in a defensive maneuver

Nico looked at her while she was moving and adjusted her sabers to defend from the strikes staying near her but also kicking off when she was moving after her padawan. It was pushing her forward with the speed so she could get around switching the shield from her other hand to the blades so she could go on the offensive attack with the movement.
