Been a Long Time

Nico was watching Quinn head off into the cave and she could use this time. The caves themselves were filled with crystals and she knew a great deal of things that were being worked on that required crystals the jedi themselves were gathering. She was getting some for herself and for these projects looking over it until she was moving around to see the padawan head off. Nico was getting a number of the larger crystals with a nod of her head.

Quinn would return to her master "It is done." She said hoisting her take

Nico was looking at her padawan as she had returned quickly, raising an eyebrow when she held a chunk of crystal to see what they would be able to do as she moved around with some of the crystals. "That was fast." Really fast but she wasn't going to admonish her as she motioned over to the area. "Alright go and start making your saber. Remember you don't have to rush.

"Yes master." She said and would walk a short ways away gathering materials that were on hand. She would find some durasteel and a little silver laying about. She would begin to form her saber. She would melt down the durasteel and pour it into a mold that would form it into a cylinder, she would then melt down the silver. Then she would take a small engraving tool and carve out some designs that she thought were very beautiful, she had seen people do this a lot. The next part she had never seen done before. She would take the molten Silver and gently pour it using the force to keep it from spilling out and all over the hilt. She would pour it into each of the recesses in the hilt and let it cool. She would then focus on the power core and in a few moments she would have it in place and ready. She would pick it up and hit the switch the blade coming to life. She would then go over to her master and speak "It is done master." She would have taken hours to complete it and was drenched in sweat but was ready to make her gauntlet.

Nico was looking at her padawan work while she was gathering crystals and pieces for projects to send them away and she looked at what Quinn was making as she raised an eyebrow. She was making a lightsaber yes but she wanted a saber gauntlet.. it wasn't just a lightsaber you attached. you made the casing to functions with the gauntlet. Her eyes were there but it was her padawans task to do when the girl finished. "Alright what is it?"

Quinn would attach the casing for the gauntlet to function and then return.

Nico was looking at her while she tried to work with it and prepare for more of the things and it was strange but.... "Well done." She stayed there looking at it. "Did you test out to make sure it works and that you can activate it with your hand."

"Not yet master." She would then perform the test. She would think of what was to come as she did. It would activate first time off "It works master"

Nico was looking at it and gave a nod of her head. "That is good then, remember to take your time everything doesn't have to be done right away. just breathe and relax." She was all for speed but also liked to take time to enjoy things like the flavored milks and there were the cans of soup. Perfect for this now.

Quinn would nod and smile breathing deeply. She was feeling alright.

Nico was looking at her padawan while she waited. Looking over the different things here when she pulled up a list of the projects that the jedi were involved in that used crystals. Sos he could work on augmenting things.

"How can I help you master?" She asked wanting to help

"Just need to collect crystals for the different projects. Nothing much else, the jedi and sasori in general have been working to improve upon the designs and everything that is going into their different works." Nico continued to collect pieces and mark larger ones in the ice and rock for the droids to come to and mine.

"Let me help." She said walking about gathering crystals. She would do anything she needed to help her master out

Nico looked at her padawan and she was looking sat it with a nod of her head. "Thank you quinn." She had a small look on her face though while getting the crystals and Nico had a couple of ideas for what they could do to continue the lessons. THere were a lot of places here after all and they had been working to develop a lot of the equipment for themselves. "You have done well and are continuing to learn. Just remember to use the skills padawan."

"I will master don't worry." She said and looking over at her master she would bring a few more crystals over to her. She was rather intrigued by Sasori and how they had got so much stuff in very little time. "I would very much like to see some of the new developments from Sasori, business seems to be booming for them"

Nico looked at her. "Not really, Sasori controls businesses but it freely gives things away and sets up operations for itself and all of its things. The larger budget of mining and working with worlds means it can produce more by sharing technologies and information between worlds then just saying they are selling things to them. Worlds prefer Sasori's involvement and teams because they will benefit just as much as the other places in the galaxy."

"Many don't." She was looking at it and setting up some more of the things. To give them a great place to work. The jedi here with the crystals that were working showed off some of the ideas they had. The terraforming technologies, the organo crystal circuits and the immobilization cannon that has been being tested to get what they are able to work on here and in other places.

"That is a good way to think of it master." SHe said moving alongside her master ready to get onto whatever was planned next
