Beheading Teddy Bears

Endor, the planet of trees and small, really annoying things that seemed to be really fluffy teddy bears. Yeah, that summed the Ewoks up quite well. Jardo shook his head, The Rogue Skipper dropping from hyperspace just above the planet. He was here for one, maybe two reasons. He had tracked a bounty of his, [member="Solan Charr"] here. That was one reason, the second reason was again a bounty. He had heard that this Solan guy and another bounty, [member="Lady Kay"] moved together. Chances were if you found one you'd find the other, right?

Jardo slowly brought his ship towards the planet, setting course for a small swamp about three clicks east of where he'd tracked Solan. He wasn't fully against landing in a swamp, but it seemed like the best idea at the time. Talking about ideas it would probably be a good idea to change from his robes and don his assassin armor. A good idea, yeah, but Jardo was naturally lazy so he probably wouldn't do it. The most he'd do would be grabbing his cloak and hidden blade.

Shaking his head he started flicking switches, slowly bringing the ship down just to the side of the water. He couldn't hide it much better, but the fact it was covered in leaves and twigs from the trees would do. Shaking his head he started through the forest, cloak on and hidden blade strapped around his left wrist and forearm.

Solan yawned as he laid back on the trunk of the ship and his eyes stared at the tree tops far above him. It was such an interesting sight the tops of the trees, the natives were largely annoying though. What with their whole Zub zub thing. There were times when he could certainly go without the Ewoks being around but if there was to be them around here then it would certainly helpful if they shut up and didnt bug you. But he just sighed and looked up to the side as he sensed something new. What was that.

The modified blockade runner that Kay hired entered the atmosphere of Endor. Sure it was an odd planet for her to choose from, but it was largely quiet and safe. She had the captain take them down near an ewok village and once there, she readied the slaves to depart. Before doing so however she packed up her satchel and sent a message to one of her Mandalorian bodyguards [member="Kalyr Alor"] ,"Hello my friend. I could use your help as I just escaped an invasion by the Cartel with some slaves. I'm on Endor. Please hurry as I want to be sure nothing goes wrong."

Of course she had no idea about the bounty on her head. Her mind was on the slaves and getting them settled in. After putting her comlink away she led the slaves out into the woods. "Well....time to make a fresh start everyone."

Searching on the ideals of where the Lords of the Fringe may be, I had come to their capital planet. Yet I was met with very little resistance. Nothing screamed Major faction security. It was quite confusing. I didn't know why this was happening. After landing and looking about for a few days, I had come to find out that the Lords of the Fringe just faded away. Ever since the Netherworld event, they had been slowly declining in size. Their strength had withered away. Now all that was left were the people who were unsatisfied with how they were left behind. Some had worked for the Fringe, and now found themselves without work. Damn. Not a good way to go.

I was walking out of my ship for the third day here, when I received a transmission. The ID on the call was from my [member="Lady Kay"]. A diplomat and rather kind hearted girl who I had worked for as a bodyguard. I had left Alex with her while I would be looking for new gear and items, and secrets that I could gather for my lady. I had spent a long while away and thought about coming to see her and end my little errand runnings. I smirked as I listened to the message. Asking for me to come to Endor. Wow. Good thing she wasn't somewhere like Byss or Tython. That would have taken a week. The fastest I could get there was maybe an hour if I punched it. Max was about three.

I shrugged my shoulders and would stand up on some guy I was meeting today about a gun. The guy was shady anyways. So I walked back up the ramp and sent my ship off into space so I could go and reunite with Lady Kay, and Alex.

He shook his head, the force being his guide. He had felt something a little off about this place and he could only assume the bounty he was chasing was giving off the vibes. He looked around slowly, the jungle vast around him. Slowly the force drew him closer to his target, until finally he was near enough on top of the disturbance. Peering over a fallen tree, Jardo smiled. So the force was right, this guy was the infamous Solan Charr, and by the feel of him Force User by large.

He had one shot, he knew that. Removing the small DL-44 blaster from it's holster he gripped it tight, using the tree as a balance. Pulling the trigger lightly he watched as the shot came from the gun, aiming right for the head of Charr. If he wanted to move he'd have to do it now, otherwise he'd be very slightly dead.

Solan had his eyes closed but his eyes were not the only method of sight he used, his brain worked on its own and his mind had touched the force many times. The slightest disturbance of the current balance, the slightest change of emotions and the slightest hint of hostility slammed into him like a speeder the moment that Jardo had lined up the shot. His body moved before he even knew what happened and as he did the blast hit the hull of the ship he had been laying on. The sound of metal being scorched was enough as his body was on its knees in less than a second.

Where the shot had come from was easy, his hold on force sight allowing him to look for the highest concentration of force energy. This man was stupid to take on a force user who only used s number of powers he could count on his right hand. Once his mind had zeroed in on the man, his eyes opened and his mouth curled up into a smile. "Bad, move."

Kay wasn't sure how the Ewoks would react to the newcomers. She walked with the former slaves,looking up at the incredibly tall trees at times. None of the slaves were much for talking, which was a bit sad. But maybe they'll open up later.

She stopped once they reached a bit of a clearing. It was good enough for them to make camp. Kalyr should be able to track them easily from her ship with all of their tracks. "Let's set up camp here. I have a friend that might be able to help us with the locals. I'm hoping that you are all welcomed here and can build your own settlement. I know that it isn't much, but there is plenty to eat, shelter is easily made, and you don't have to worry about being put to slavery anymore." That speech brought some smiles, though they were still not of the right mentality to accept their freedom just yet. So there wasn't quite the enthusiasm as there could have been. But she was also a stranger to them.

Kay quietly excused herself and walked over to one of the nearby trees. She pulled out her comlink and sent out a message to Gwrtheyrn. "Hello my friend. I am on Endor having just rescued some slaves and am trying to get them settled in. But I am not quite sure if the Ewoks would mind. If you can, could you please meet me here and help?"

Gwrtheyrn had heard of Kay's patchy history with slavers. Truth be told the fact that she was entwined in this kind of business worried him somewhat. Slavers by their very nature cared little to nothing about the lives of others and possessed a vicious streak that was truly astounding in its cruelty.

The Maelibus Poet had yet to meet one of the slug like overlords that were said to reside over the universes largest crime syndicates, but when he did Gwrtheyrn would make sure to compose the Hutts requiem personally. Receiving Kay's transmission through one of the many wireless devices that the Silver Jedi had given him Gwrtheyrn got into contact with a pilot he knew and was on route for Endor. Luckily it was not far as Kay and Gwrtheyrn had seen each other recently having cleared up some business involving a coffee shop, missing courtesans and a dozen animated statues.

From what he had discerned from books in the Silver Jedi Library Endor was quite frankly an odd odd place. Some kind of ship transporting myriad bizarre species from the outer rim had crash landed there thousands of years ago leaving the place to be an utter madhouse. To add to this the barriers between the material realm and what the Nightsisters referred to as the spirit world were thin here indeed. Mountains spoke , elemental spirits and fay filled the air and there were enough native Tulgah to make even the most experienced Sith sorcerer feel self conscious about his arcane powers.

In some respects it felt a little like home.

Soon after landing on the moon the Maelibus had been swamped by a tribe of Ewoks. Apparently they thought he was one of their deities known as the 'Golden One' on account of his golden hued carapace.

Getting into a discussion with the Ewok Elder (Who spoke some basic) Gwrtheyrn attempted to explain that he was not a divinity.

In response the Ewok asked if the Poet was immortal.

Gwrtheyrn replied that while his kind couldn't die of age as was the case with all creatures of Iego that they were not exactly immortal per say.
The elder took took this as an affirmation.

His next question was could Gwrtheyrn move a mountain with his strength?

The Maelibus stated that as a member of a burrowing species he had probably overturned a hill or two in his lifetime and could move heavy boulders quite efficiently but he had never actually lifted a mountain.

The Ewok Elder told Gwrtheyrn that he was being too modest.

Finally the Elder asked the poet whether or not he possessed magic powers.

Gwrtheyrn explained that while he was actually quite opposed to the practice of darkside magic that he had been taught by his Master Coci to move objects with his mind.

By this time the Elder had a smug expression on his face as if to suggest that the silly god couldn't deceive its worshipers any longer.

Finally a compromise was reached at demigod and the trail of Ewoks followed the Silver Jedi through the forests and he searched for Kay.

Looking to the Ewok elder Gwrtheyrn handed him his comms device relaying some instructions. Willing to serve his new half divinity he keyed in the number. Interestingly enough the elder seemed to be quite at home with the device.

"Hello this is elder Ekki from Endor. I have a message from the great demi-god Gwrtheyrn he wants some help and desires your presence on Endor great Techno God Orphen."

Jardo stood up, the corners of his mouth curling into a smirk of sorts. He shook his head slightly, eyes fixed upon Solan Charr, not blinking. "I'm afraid, my friend, that move was perfect. If you think it was a bad move, you are humbly mistaken." he spoke, the words thick like card. "You see, The Hutt Cartel want's you dead, and from what I can feel, I want you dead"

He gave himself a moment to stare, tampering with the force ball in his mind. The lightning started as sparks and over about three seconds became full lightning, aimed towards Solan. It felt like a lifetime had passed, but in reality it probably hadn't. He chuckled, eyes still fixed upon Charr, hand outstretched and lightning aiming for the midsection. The intent of said lightning wasn't to kill, it was to stun and hurt long enough for Jardo to cuff or attach this guy to something.

Orphen had never been to Endor, though, from what he knew he had a feeling that this wasn't going to be a place which was nice to behold, he was given the message with some urgency, and had thought he had best hurry to the location, Borrowing for himself one of the fastest stock standard ships in the ship yards of Aurora industries, he left leaving his master Taeli Raaf, little more than an urgent message over the holonet, deeply encrypted, though hopefully not to the extent that a Jedi master and leader of a tier 4 ship, weapons, droids and vehicle manufacturing company would not be able to handle. It would be quick travel, jumping from planet to planet and even passing another ship in Hyperspace, something Orphen had never quite had the experience of performing in his lifetime... though... there was something cryptic about what @Gwrtheryn had sent him, there was no why or anything of the sort, Orphen could only imagine it was another issue of the colossal brand, and this time, he was going to be ready for it... they had already taken down a sith created steel plated flying rancor together... Endor was a planet of dark and dangerous wonders... perhaps there was something else there that needed that kind of attention.

Knowing his heavy blasters would not do him any good, he removed the second set of holsters from his upper thighs, only equipping his own personally made weapons, as well as the D-pattern gauntlet, his lightsabers, coat, helmet DCD and drones for this particular ride. Part of him wished he would be able to test his own Erebus unit, but, as they stood, they were one of a kind... Looking to the holonet, the former smuggler's son reached out through secure channels to his contacts, using the Blood Knight Datapad and pseudonym. Asking for any information on anything going down on Endor... Though, aside from a couple of bounties, there didn't seem to be anything big happening... which made Orphen worry...

Tracing the location of the call back to the device, Orphen would send a reply message upon nearing the planet, and using the data-sensors on the ship he accommodated to track the whereabouts of where his message was received. Tracking the Sigal like the GPS, they seemed to come down nearing what seemed to be an Ewok township of some kind, Orphen opened his mind to the force and was able to sense the anomaly which was his golden compatriot and brother in arms. Silver Jedi or no. Landing, he opened the hatch and leaped out from the cockpit, sprinting to the location of the humanoid juggernaut... Having landed as close as humanly possible to his location... Once the young Jedi Padawan reached Gwytheryn, he looked up and removed his helmet to show his face, a worried look in his mismatched bi-coloured eyes.

"Nice to see you again... So... why the hasty call? Basalisk Droids? Terentateks? Sith Created Fused wookie abominations formed into grotesque ghouls for war?"

Having intended the last of his statements to be a joke... Orphen would not be surprised if it wasn't... truth be told, his friend was hard to sense through the force on this planet, were he not familiar, his breed of anomaly seemed rife on this planet... though something felt odd, and he could not bear shaking it, it was like the feeling he had before he met kitty... there was a disturbance in the force, and it was not far away... ... ... Orphen had not even noticed the golden behemoths entourage of smaller more furry companions until he bumped into the chief among them. Shocked and reeling back, having almost knocked the man over, Orphen bowed in apology. Introdicing himself as the Savant, and now carrying the Savant's datapad at his side, as opposed to the blood knight.

As the man raised his hand, so did solan but instead of using lightning like this one Solan's body began to shake and consume itself into shadows. His body paled, thinned, its very tone becoming deathly so as it looked like he had long been without life. His eyes darkened and glowed the amber color they now so easily possessed and his hands curled up tighter. His shadow and that of the shadow around him left the ground, becoming solid, ebony in color. They pierced through the ground and then up and into him as Solan's body shook with each strike from the shadows. Slowly his body was cloaked in shadows themselves, his hands looked as if and thinner and the bones would be the only thing left and as the lightning cast out from Jardo's fingers the fun began.

His hands curled up tighter as he moved from where he stood, his muscles working faster than what would normally be humanly possible as the lightning impacted the ship and Solan's body launched itself off. This man would need to try harder in terms of stopping solan. He could tell Jardo was over confident, revealing himself before he would strike a blow. Amateur. This breed of Sith and bounty hunters that are being made now made him sad and his hands curled up as he smiled and the shadows enveloped him. In a moment he started to change direction and now head straight for Jardo, still weaponless.

What was this guy? That was one of the first questions in Jardo's mind. The second was, how could he learn that. He watched as the force lightning bounced in every which way and he had to throw up a force barrier to protect himself from a few of the lose sparks that were currently in the air. He then brought it upon himself to attempt something knew, a well placed lightning strike into the tree behind Solan.

Solan was gone before the lightning hit, and by time Jardo had blinked he had all of about a microsecond to come up with some sort of plan. He thought back to the hanger in the palace on Sleheryon, how he'd let the force turn him into something he wasn't, how he'd let the force make him insane. He didn't remember beheading all those slavers, he just knew he'd trusted the force and witnessed a few heads rolling around. He put two and two together quick enough.

He brought his hands to his lightsaber, using the force to power it and turn it on before it even reached him. As soon as he felt his fingers wrap around the hilt he brought the blade across his body in a diagonal from low to high. He knew that he was meant to bring this guy in alive, and he'd planned for that. While bringing the blade to his hand he'd turned it down. It would wound, it would scar and it would probably make you cry if it hit you and it would easily stun you, but it wouldn't kill.

Solan never planned to get into Melee range, the reason why would become shockingly clear in a moment. As Jardo pulled the lightsaber Solan smiled and the shadows erupted out from around him, enveloping the area around first Solan before expanding out towards Jardo. The Purpose was simple. He would remove Jardo's sight from the game for good, and unless he was trained in how to deal with situations where his senses became depraved then he would have a pretty big danger here.

He brought his hands down once the two of them were enveloped by the dome, smiling as he spoke. "You want to know who i learned this from. It was a former sith, an infamous one who is now dead... well sort of dead. He developed techniques of far worse capabilities... but this one will suffice for now." He spoke from no single direction, projecting his voice and the sounds all around Jardo, not just depraving him of Sight but also of Sound as well. One would need to take more caution than this one, Solan's hand touching the hilt of his Krath War blade while he stood out of reach o the man for now.

Physically, Solan had left Jardo all but blind, but mentally. Mental being was different, and Jardo was using his mental power to tap into the force, to mold the force how he wanted it. To mold the force in a way it could touch the environment. Using this touch, Alter Enviroment, Jardo was all around them, yet he wasn't. Bringing the force together, Jardo noted the wind picking up in the area around them, the trees shaking and poor ewoks falling over. Jardo noted the whirlwind in it's attempt to clear the shadow around him. He noted as the force grew strong, rage growing within him.

"Why don't you fight blade to blade Mr Charr. Why do you hide behind a wall of force illusions and trickery when I can shut each move down, every move you attempt. Why do you try and avoid a fight, why do you try and avoid what will come even if you don't want it to. Everything has a purpose, everything has it's destiny. Falling is your destiny Mr Charr, falling to your knees and admitting defeat, be it the lowest of the low."

[member="Solan Charr"]

[member="Jardo Snow"]

Solan's shadows would not be blown away, they were in no way like smoke and his eyes turned to close in on Jardo. He relied not on physical sight either but on the sight of his past generations. Force sight as it was better known, a gift he nurtured and stared at Jardo now with as the man's rage and annoyance was growing and it only feed Solan too as he stood there and leached off the man. One's emotions were a fuel he used and Jardo's were no different where they were potent and unhindered.

"I avoid a fight because there is not always a reason to fight. Killing you really would be a pain as i do not have the time for it but if you so desire me too i will do so quickly with no hesitation. So i suggest you lay down that saber, and stop with your wind tricks." His eyes stared daggers into the man as he drew the force in around him too. The emotions of the ewoks, his own, and Jardo's. His fingers started to curl up tighter as the air around Jardo would slowly but surely become all the more hotter, friction in the air getting faster and if Jardo did not surrender he would be faced with the thing that Solan was known for.

Jardo shook his head, the wind slowly dying down around him. "You know something, perhaps there isn't always a reason to fight after all, though sometimes there is a reason" Jardo said out loud, lightsaber retracting with the usual hiss and snap. Slowly Jardo dropped, sitting cross legged.

Slowly, he thought back to his training, how mind control worked. He pictured the ball of force, the mind of Solan. He pictured that ball slowly entering the mind of Charr, and in turn made sure he was doing the same thing to the real Solan Charr. He had one goal in mind here, break Solan's mind. Slowly, Jardo attempted to dig deeper into the mind of Charr, attempting to break the mind like he had to the slave he'd trained on.

He was loving it.

[member="Solan Charr"]

[member="Jardo Snow"]

The itching at his ind made him laugh loudly, the sound reverberating in the shadows. "Wrong move." The heating of the air around Jardo cut out but he opened his mind for one reason to Jardo. Upon touching his mind the onslaught that had drove him insane before left him and it blasted into Jardo's Mind. Millions of deaths flowed into Jardo as well as the emotions of those that died around Solan. Their fears, their sorrow, their regret, their anger. Even their last thoughts all seared their way into the mind that tried to break into Solan's.

All the while Solan stared and even used his mind to amplify the effect by increasing the severity of the emotions to the point where it started to effect him again. His veins grew dark and his eyes burned a hotter amber, the shadows grew thicker, light vanishing slowly and Solan's smile only grew. The air around himself grew hotter and his mind decided to add onto it. Crafting the feelings of Jardo's skin feeling like it was blistering, his skin withering, his eyes drying up. How this one reacted to the sudden shift would be interesting.

After sending off her message, Kay went back to the slaves she had helped to free. One told her about a creek nearby that they could use for water and bathing, while others were gathering wood for fires.

Not wanting to be the type of person that just stood there barking orders, Kay set out to gather small twigs for kindling. As she did so she felt a sudden coldness. A lot of Dark Force energy was being used. But where? And by who? In a way she wanted to find out and in a way she didn't. Best to wait until her friends arrive.

Having picked up enough kindling, she headed back to the slaves and helped them in creating a few fires. There wasn't much supplies of anything yet, but hopefully the Ewoks and her friends would help in that department.

His camouflaged Lamba Class Landing Craft descended onto the planet surface of the moon of Endor. Sareen had been delayed in his arrival of the moon because of his ship leaking fuel since the Korbin System, and had to have it repaired and refueled. It had throughly annoyed Sareen, because he knew there were multiple other hunters after this bounty. And if he waited to long, the bounty would disappear faster than a cloaked cruiser in full retreat.

From the main viewport of the ship Sareen could see a dark area, almost like smoke. There was a weak light from within, a red one. Sareen knew that was not his battle, he was here for [member="Lady Kay"]. And his objective was easily obtained, after another 30 standard minutes of searching the forests on the surface, Sareen saw a blockade runner landed on the surface in a tribal village of Ewoks.

With his target found, Sareen set down the landing craft half a klick out. Sareen left his chair on the bridge navigating through the dark ship, his infrared vision lighting the way. Until he reached the cargo hold/passenger cabin where he kept his equipment. First he grabbed a rectangular case, opening it revealed a CD-36 Sniper Rifle, set to stun for this mission. Next he grabbed a smaller container which when opened contained two Westar-35 Blaster Pistols. One stun setting, and one blaster setting. Just in case things got to serious for stun. And finally he took 2 Thermal Detonators from an open crate of explosives. With his gear in order, Sareen mounted his Kybuck Speeder Bike and opened the hatchway to the outside. The light poured on the visor of his helmet, having no effect with Sareen's vision.

Once it completely opened, Sareen sped towards his prey. This one would be his.

Nodding appreciatively to Orphen for his swift arrival Gwrtheyrn spared no time in explaining the situation.

"Nay, no Sith abominations to blight us this time. Our adversaries are of a more mortal bent. Servants of the putrid sacks of flesh some refer to as Hutts, filled with the very avarice of Mammon. They seek a friend of mine named Kay, a noble lady of your kind".

The Maelibus Jedi raised his head as would a canine sensing something from afar. There was a battle going on somewhere in the forest. However the combatants seemed to both be drawing on darkside energy. Gwrtheyrn was almost certain that after the death of her late husband Kay had severed ties with the Sith.

There was to much interference for his novice skills to pinpoint much else among the roiling energies. Instead he turned to his more mundane senses listening for the sound of non ewok habitation.

And there it was.

The voices were low, murmuring as if cowed but they certainly didn't belong to Ewoks.

Motioning for Orphen and the trailing Ewoks to follow Gwrtheyrn sprang into motion. The speed the golden giant was capable of seemed to almost defy the massive bulk of his size. Smashing foliage the warrior-poet emerged into the ex slaves campsite.

Though Kay's clothes seemed somewhat dirty from carrying kindling she appeared unharmed.

"Greetings Lady. This forest seems to be getting more dangerous by the minute so I brought an ally that we can trust. He should arrive at any moment."
