GOLBAH HILL, NABOO
The terror echoed through Hyperspace.
The tears came from nothing. Across the Southern Systems, business was occurring as usual. The children, across the region, were all released from their schooling for the summer. Businesses were readying for a bright and sunny time of year. Despite the challenges of the previous year, things were looking up. Ah yes, and that's when they could see them. By merely tilting one's gaze skyward, they would see the cracks in reality. The blue skies creaked and gave way, falling apart to reveal swirling abyss. Howls of undeath filled the air. Beasts of the Nether had come.
Druckenwell and Bothawui were the first to fall. So many followed behind them.
There was no defense that could be prepared for such a calamity, for who could forsee the literal sky giving way? By the time the chaos reached the ears of the Armed Forces, the streets were bathed in blood. The people tried to flee, hide, or fight. Yet they were overpowered. Most were torn to shreds. The unfortunate ones were twisted by the demons and turned into their own midst. Brother was risen, corrupted, and turned against Brother. And one by one, the Southern Systems began to fall.
But the Calamity did not move in a vacuum. This Benediction was planned. Coordinated. For as the monstrosities rampaged from the North, the West rose. The lawless region that had been the target of the nation's "Red War" rose as one. A mighty armada - assembled of every brigand and slaver that had been put of business - bore down upon the Confederate border. They cut past the defenses and pushed deep. They were as a blade, piercing through armor and biting through flesh. But they were not satisfied with drawing blood. No. Both the demons and the armada were aiming at the heart.
It had been a mere twenty-four hours since the assaults began. Naboo was in the crosshairs.
This is where the Southern Systems would make their stand. All forces that had not been ripped apart were recalled to the capital at once. The Knights Obsidian had been summoned from their quest - and provided valuable insight on who their adversary was. They were not fighting the remnants of Omni, or Akala - no, this was something primordial. Evil. Wrathful. It was called the Unmaker - and they were all the stood between it and unleashing hell across the Galaxy.
The clock was ticking. The Armada began to drop into the Naboo System at an alarming rate. And portals from the Nether began to open on Naboo's surface. Monstrosities flooded the streets. Theed was in chaos.
This stand would not just for their own people, but for all creation.
Wresting control of Naboo's airspace is essential to surviving the day. Face down the Armada bearing down on the Capital with all your might!
Monstrosities are prowling the streets of the Capital and have plunged Theed into chaos. Save as many lives as you can. Hold the Line.
