Between a hoth and a hard place

[La'kuus Quelin]

She shrugged and nodded her head, looking straight down onto the snow. "Want to just try to keep warm?"

 

[Jace Padder]

"Im doing my best sweetheart" he replied with another chuckle

"Doesnt really seem possible" he spoke again, staring at the fire

 

[La'kuus Quelin]

She looked at the fire for a while, then moved right next to him, bundling all the blankets against them both, and keeping closer to the fire. "Don't touch the flames or I'm eating you."

 

[Jace Padder]

Wrapping the blankets around the both of them, jace chucklednat her remark

"I usually wouldnt, but im telling you, those flames look pretty warm to me"

 

[La'kuus Quelin]

She looked down at him, then sighed and rested her head against his shoulder. "You're so weird, smuggler."

 

[Jace Padder]

Jace smiled, resting his head on hers

"The names jace, and yeah, youll come to realise that" he chuckled again.

 

[La'kuus Quelin]

"I know your name, stupid." She pushed against him, then closed her eyes and drifted into a small warm comforting slumber. If they kept like that, the ship would be there in only a few hours.

 

[Jace Padder]

Jace watched the fire for a bit, putting an arm around her. It didnt feel so cold anymore.

 

[La'kuus Quelin]

Soon enough the ship arrived, with a special R unit as the pilot. It landed near the broken down ship, and La'kuus stood up straight, sliding off the blankets. "Help more the spices onto my ship. Now."

 

[Jace Padder]

Jace let out a cough and a chuckle, usual routine,0. Stamding up, he trudged over to the remaining boxes of spice, carrying the few crates that had been left into her ship.

"So uh, we go our seperate ways then, huh?" He spoke as sly as he used to.

 

[La'kuus Quelin]

She shook her head, pointing to the small cargo bay for him to load it on. "I'm flying you to Coruscant. That's your dropoff point until I salvage what used to be the rest of your ship." She got into the pilot's seat and started up to go home.

 

[Jace Padder]

Shrugging, jace strided into the warm ship, and nearly instsntly passed out in the cargo hold.

A job well done as he always said

 

[La'kuus Quelin]

La La flew the boy to Coruscant, dumping him out with a small kick and throw. Before even a word could get out, the doors shut, and the ship was off again.

That was the meeting of La La and Jace.
