Matsu moved jumping up and she crouched, kneeling on the stomach of the statue as she looked upon him and put her hands together. Slowly she smiled and started to focus. "Oh there are ways but one must be prepared... I have a few ideas of how it could be done." She was thinking of what could happen and focused on the grating looking at it. Her hands were moving quickly as she tested with the force first before looking on. "There isn't a holocron from the looks of it, it looks more like a sword was implanted within the stomach. What do you see up there?"

He started to move around the statue, occasionally using his daggers to create a makeshift handhold. "Hard to tell. Though, I see signs that something can be done with the head." He stabbed a dagger into the chest and used it as a foot hold to spring off of, landing evenly on the cranium. "All I need to do is find the release."

Matsu gave a nod of her head while she was looking around producing her saber and activating it as it illuminated the stone before she tried cutting the grating. A small look around. "There is maybe a lever but it could also be a trap, if my skills with phasing was better that might work but it is a dangerous skill and you have to be very careful using it." The grating came away as she looked at the blade and around it. "There is some marking here and..." Her words trailed off as she grabbed the blade and listened to what was happening. The shifting of stones before she was focusing and pulling a beskad out... She knew that familiar weight of iron as it beat her chest coming away. The whirring sound for a moment as the blade sparked and she felt a small tingle as the cloaking device in it activated. Matsu looked up as she spoke. "Well it is heavier then it looked."

Vulpesen looked over at Matsu and his eyes widened in surprise. "Well, seems you've gotten a bit lucky." He continued around, going over the legends in his head. "Anakin saw his first visions of Vader... Daughter, the father, the son. All stabbed int he place of the beskad." He looked around a bit more. "The Daughter died to defend. The father died of sacrifice. The son was killed by the revenge of a jedi. All matters concerning..." He jumped down to hang fro m the statue's nose while his foot kicked at its heart, causing the head to start opening as a large shift occurred under his foot. "Got it!" He lifted himself up to find the dagger. "Gotta be here, gotta be here, gotta... DAMN IT!" He looked onto a pedestal, hidden earlier bu revealed now. "Well, its something. We've got a clue now. "He reached forward and picked up a small holocron it didn't seem as important as the one they wanted, but it was something."

Matsu looked up at the man and spoke as he held the small holocron. "You didn't think it was going to be that easy did you? If it was that easy to find Mortis.. if it was that easy to get the dagger then it would have been found by now." She fully expected the dagger to be somewhere few could or would think to look and she was taking all of it in while she moved holding the beskad and putting in into her robes on her back as she let go. "The holocron might be a way to find or be brought to the place to seek out the dagger." Matsu was looking upon Vulpesen and the holocron while she offered a smile and was thinking about the beskad.

Vulpesen sighed and wrapped his leg around a part of the statue to hand upside down, the holocron held in front of his face. "Easy for you to saw miss sword-lady. You've got something for your efforts. I on the other hand just started a scavenger hunt." He looked over at her, spinning his prize in his hands as he waited for her to suggest the next action.

Matsu looked at him and then at the holocron. "And that would be such a bad thing? If it was easy to do then it wouldn't be worth it... The easy path is often just for those who don't want to try." She had a few ideas and with her knowledge and could help decipher clues should they appear. Her talents would prove useful while Matsu was moving adjusting herself to fit the new weight on her back. "Besides the real fun is what could be there, you do have the goal to find something others have searched for. We'll just have to get there first and lucky."

Vulpesen let out a sigh as she spoke but allowed himself to drop until he caught onto the dagger from earlier. Leaping to the statue's hand again, h brought the blade with him. "Fair point. So, should we read the holocron now, or wait till we're back on the ship?" He sat down as he waited for her answer, his eyes studying the ancient object that lie in his hands.

She shrugged, there might be more things around here. Passages and hidden alcoves with a number of things like treasures and riches... Temples were good at times about having other things then just what was advertized. "Well we still might find something else so let look at it now and see what there is, then we'll go about the real fun of all this. Exploring an ancient temple." Her eyes were flicking back and forth while she started searching for anything like levers or alcoves in the wall where hidden switches, chains, pictograms could be seen.
