Quick question. Not trying to step on any toes or anything but I just would like to know cause this has been eating at me all day.
So Ayden has access to Omega Protectorate ships. But the rules clearly state someone who isn't part of a major faction can't own ships over 1000 meters. Now if you never oocly left OP I can see how one might have the ships. But after Ayden was black listed and became OPs most wanted wouldn't that mean he wouldn't have access to those ships anymore? I mean if the character is no longer in the faction but oocly is still technically "in the faction" doesn't that create kind of a paradox where a character is still somewhat breaking the rules but not really? I mean oocly if the owner said it's cool to take the ships is one thing but if that character isn't technically part of that faction it creates a sort of grey area where some kind of is but isn't breaking rules. Again I'm not trying to step on toes I'm just really curious to how this situation has resolved itself

From what I understand, OP leadership okayed it for a story arc. It is a bit of a grey area, particularly when said ships are being used against people as a personal fleet and not just for story but..
I do believe the RPJs etc have gone over this as much as they're going to.

Then that just raises bigger questions then, if the fleet was ok'd for a story arc then why is it here at an invasion where ICly a man who literally spent multiple invasions fighting this galactic entity come to help them? I mean I don't see a motive here, unless I missed something. I probably missed something. This all just seems really ooc driven which makes me a sad panda ;-;

I believe the fleet is part of a minor faction, and minor factions are allowed a fleet with ships up to 1,000 meter in length. Unless things changed or I'm misreading the situation. I've been away for awhile and am just getting back into things so that is a possibility.

I know it's a bit confusing, and I know some folks aren't too happy with not knowing the full details.
Once this invasion is concluded, I have a few threads that I'll be making that will be of interest to a great many people.
But I promise, I'm not just looking to stick my finger in pies and kick sand castles for the spite of it. This is being done for a story, to generate stories, and to have fun. In the future, I hope to get all questions and concerns cleared up.

Which entrance are you at? One of your posts (the first one after all the entrances were named) the Location said east, but then you said in the post that Chiasa was at the east, one was trapped, and you (and Nagate) were at the other.
Entrances were NW 1.4 from the ship, the main 2 to the south, and (the one we're heading to) 2.1 to the east.
