Calling all Jedi - Part 2

Dear Jedi writers,

I have an idea for promoting Jedi unity on this board and I'd like your feedback and eventually, some volunteers. The Idea: let's restaff The Jedi Academy Network minor faction with new volunteers and keep using it as a noticeboard for Jedi group activities.

Now. Yes. I know. Here's some reasons why it was retired in the first place:
  • It served it's purpose
  • We already have a dozen faction-specific sub-forums for IC Jedi roleplay that only half of us every actually look at
  • The LFG forum is just as good at linking up Jedi roleplayers as any minor faction could
  • Minor Factions don't PvP
  • Minor Faction membership counts against most reinforcement limits according the Requesting Aid Top Rules
  • Requesting a Jedi Master is already very easy thanks to new rules allowing Knight and Master Ranks to be created as desired
  • Jedi characters, (and their writers,) still prefer to identify themselves along Major and Minor Faction lines. (And this has actually proven to be healthy thing OOC for many of them.)

Thoughts? Feels?

Thx :D

Sup V. And yeah. There was a Jedimoot recently hosted IC by all the major Orders. The concluding takeaway was that everybody would build more embassies and rally to foster better relationships IC.

And thankfully. There was no unification of Orders. No merging of territory. No new PC Jedi Councils. No relaxation of the 5 person maximum Requesting Aid rules during Invasions. etc. The status quo seemed healthy enough for everybody to just stick to their respective factions and territories. Which is fine.

And now you're mostly caught up on where I'm going with this. Cheers! :D
