The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
Due to impending LOA by [member="Ayden Cater"] announced here, I believe we should move on with discussing and putting into act our change in leadership, we were supposed to hold this discussion off till after invasion of Elrood, but since it is being cancelled I believe the best time to get this done is in upcoming days, why that is I'll explain in the last paragraph.
I was supposed to take over as Intermediate Leader and keep us afloat while we set who the next Protector should be, considering the recruiting spree I have successfully seen through, organizing more RP sub-groups for us to bring some diversity, and raising our activity I believe I have succeeded in that.
However, I do not want to grab the seat of the Protector without consulting with you, our writers, and see what your opinions are. I am still willing to take the position and I believe I am ready for this, to lead us through storylines and help us organize interesting RP we can all enjoy, like I have done with our Espionage Division, start to do so with our Medical Division, and help organize for our Pyre division recently.
The reason why I want to start moving on with us discussing it and making those decision is because of the upcoming negotiations with Moross on Friday, I want to know whether I can represent us as an Exarch or Protector, I want to know whether I can help set up a group for our Force Users as the Protector or go through the Protector's approval of it as an Exarch, and most importantly, I had plans for reforming our Protectorate Council and making it a bigger part of our inner Political scene, opening it up to Political characters and make it actually matter for us, ICly and OOCly. We will not thrive if we will have great military RP, we will thrive if we have great diversity of RP with good writers to back it, and in OP we have some of the best writers around. However, my plans for the Protectorate Council requires reforming our policies, including making Exarchs a PC-only rank and as such giving a few people promotions into rank of an Exarch, which can't really be done by another Exarch, and the first thread I want the Council to take part in is the negotiations with Moross, I believe it would be a strong thread to start with and begin defining what exactly the Council does in OP and what their privileges are, but that also means we would need to settle on the next leader by tomorrow as that is when I'm supposed to start the thread. Either way, I am done waiting and anticipating, we really need to start talking about this.
