Ayden & I are setting up an Ark server again. A few people know I've run one before for a few months and it was loads of fun.

With all the excitement surrounding the Redwood biome and other updates, and with Ark being 45% off during the Steam Summer Sale, I've decided to set up a new server that should be ready for players later today. Let me know in this thread if you're interested in joining.

If you're having trouble with the game. I set my launch options to: -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4 -d3d10 -nomansky

And I got 30 average fps gain out of the deal.

It's an enormous change and I lost almost nothing save a few clouds.

I went from 30-40 average average to 60+, btw.

Not sure if I found it or not, tried to use the address, seem to be having some form of problem though. The game keeps crashing when I use the link, after I installed the Center map. Some form of assertion failure regarding the Hasanyflags. I can get in normally but I don't seem to be able to locate the server. Tried finding it with the steam server search by nothing came up at the IP address.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Click on the IP address on the arkservers page linked in my original post. I also cannot find it through Ark's server search.

I don't know what you mean about errors. There's 4 mods to download but if anyone's had trouble downloading them automatically through Ark, I'm unaware. We've had 8? people I think join so far.

I had a similar issue initially. I resolved my issue by going into steam and manually updating the game downloads/uploads for the Center map. Yesterday, I also had a lot of trouble with the game not wanting to locate the server. I resolved this one with a computer restart.

We can add you to the tribe. We have a main base and several little outposts. Only we need to add you to the tribe so our Dino's don't eat you.

Tropical island south is good tho. Popos little base is at the tip of the shoehorn area.
