"Suppressing fire!" Brax barked over comms. A hail of sniper bolts rained down on the Padawan, a tactful move to keep him just as far away from the troopers as he was now, maybe even farther if he decided to fall back. With the scouts' focus trained on him, Brax found the levitating saber with his crosshairs and launched another flaming shot at it, trying to knock at least one of the three plasma blades away from him. Storm commandos weren't trained to deal with Jedi directly like the formidable Sith Protectors were, but the tactics for dealing with CQBs were the same; suppress, disarm, dispatch.

Despite the rumbling of the ship, Braze Braze remained in control of his core and held his footing well. Brax himself was doing much the same, only feeling minor turbulence in his shots. Years spent training at the Imperial Academy on Bastion had hardened him, especially the long campaigns spent navigating former NIO space in a flight of TIE fighters. He was accustomed to the jarring of space combat. Unfortunately, not every storm commando trained the same way he had. "Sir, I- I can't get a clean shot!"

"Keep him busy!" Brax ordered, turning focus to Braze's midsection and lining up what would be a nonlethal -though terrible painful- grazing shot. Dead Jedi were good, but captured Jedi were better.

Braze took several shots that broke through his defenses, his shields and armor absorbing the brunt of most of them. Thanks to Corazona von Ascania Corazona von Ascania , he knew what it felt like to be shot at. The blades whirled in blazes of blurring color, his armor taking the impact of the barrage. Despite this, a few shots managed to bypass his defenses, unable to be blocked, stopped, or deflected.

His armor didn't offer full protection, and he staggered from a well-placed shot, nearly losing consciousness. His helmet helped him stay awake as he endured several more hits. Brought to one knee, he activated a larger kyber powered shield in front of him to stave off the barrage and catch his breath. The fire behind him dimmed briefly before flaring up, much brighter and more volatile. The blue flames from behind surged forwards, envelopeing his small figure, and a shrill cry erupted. Wreathed in flames, he stood up and surged forward toward Abraxas Colt and his men.

He was volatile and hard to attack as bolts seemed to be absorbed by the intense heat surrounding him. The whirling vortex of heat and plasma blades descended with terrifying fury upon the attackers in a blitzing assault.

Veda used the lip of the doorway to hide from the barrage of blaster fire. Lucky for him, most of it was aimed at the Jedi Padawan further up the hallway. But not lucky for the Padawan. He seemed to catch a few shots in his armor, and while he had some defenses left, Veda had no idea how long he would hold up.

Here we go. Veda came around the corner firing at . . . really, everything and nothing. His goal was to draw some of the fire from the Padawan to give him time to regroup. It worked a little too well. The problem was Veda wasn’t wearing armor, he didn’t have a lightsaber, and he couldn’t use the Force. So he was a sitting duck when the fire shifted his way. “Kriff!” That hurts! A shot grazed his left arm before he could take cover behind the lip on the opposite side of the doorway.

Alright, that’s it. He had one trick left in his bag. A single frag. He switched his blaster to his left hand — good luck firing with that arm the way it felt right now — and took the grenade in his dominant hand. “Fire in the hole!” he yelled to Braze Braze as he popped out just long enough to sling the frag toward the firing troopers.

For a moment, Abraxas thought they had him. The Padawan dropped to a knee under the sheer volume of blasterfire they were laying down, but the flames surged and lurched at them with the boy right in front of them. The storm commando on his right was the first to meet Braze's blades, unable to dodge in time. Brax and the trooper to his left had a brief window to swap rifles for blaster pistols, but only Darkstar remained standing when a sudden thermal detonator rolled into the fray. The blast knocked Abraxes back, putting a bit of distance between himself and the enraged Jedi at the expense of the air in his lungs.

From his prone position on the floor, sliding a bit as the Predator took another devastating blow, Brax unloaded a flurry of blaster bolts at Braze Braze and Pal Veda Pal Veda in the chaos. Between the smoke from the explosion, the haze from the fire, and the thick crack in his visor, Abraxes couldn't make out Marlon Sularen Marlon Sularen or Jasper Kai'el Jasper Kai'el at the far end of the corridor. His orders were clear, to protect the Grand Admiral, but he'd be lucky to survive given his circumstances. The brief, treasonous thought to break away and make a mad dash to the hangars and hijack a TIE fighter crossed his mind. Even if he and Sularen did survive the onslaught, the Predator was likely done for. They damn sure wouldn't survive an orbital impact into Coruscant.

He fired another round of shots when the barrel cooled, aiming for the Padawan's legs. If he could maim the kid, he'd buy more time to devise a backup plan.

The deafening explosion rocked the ship, sending violent tremors through its very core. The air was thick with the acrid smell of smoke and burning metal, and the taste of fear lingered on Braze's tongue. His jaw clenched tightly as he braced himself against the force of the blast.

Pal Veda Pal Veda 's calculated plan to sabotage their enemies with a frag grenade had gone awry, causing a deafening explosion that rocked the ship and sent Braze flying. The force of the blast extinguished his fiery aura. Braze stumbled backward, his heavy magno boots clanking against the metal floor as the ship rocked and swayed beneath him. The fiery wrath that had engulfed him moments ago was now extinguished, leaving him gasping for air and struggling to regain his footing. He panted heavily, his small chest heaving visibly, even from afar amidst the chaos with in the hull.

The bag of thermite he had been carrying had been jostled loose and ignited behind him, sending a wall of flames and molten metal pouring through the floor. The heat was intense, scorching his armor and threatening to overwhelm him.

It was too loud to properly hear Pal Veda and Braze had not been in synch with him. Braze was struggling to adapt as another barrage of blaster fire rained down on him.

Blades whirled as he deflected them along with his kyber shield. His movements were sluggish, slowing down as he panted. Tremendous amounts of energy had been spent, and yet he persisted. That is until a particularly well place shot slipped through and caught him above the knee, flying just past his knee pad.

The well-aimed shot caught him above the knee, sending him crashing to the ground with a cry of pain. He gritted his teeth and dug his sabers into the floor, using the Force to pull himself back to his feet. His movements were jerky and unsteady, but he refused to let the pain defeat him.

The strangled cry was squeaky and high pitched reflecting his tender youth. As he pushed through the pain, he called upon the force to flow through him, his movements speeding up as a blur of a blue saber and the blur of a bluish purple saber flew forwards. One was thrown from his hand, the second seemingly manipulated by the force.

Each one embedded themselves in troopers yet to have fallen. One met it's mark with deadly accuracy whilst the other trooper screamed in horrific pain. Braze was uppon him with in moments, his golden shield flickering out of sight as a small hand clasped on to the front of the man's chest plate.

Three golden blades shot right through his neck, protruding from the gauntlet on Braze's right arm, severing the man's head from his shoulders, still heat welded with in his helmet as it rolled to the floor. The two blades retrurned to his hands.

But there was no time to celebrate his victory. Braze was already on the move, his sabers whirling through the air as he advanced towards Abraxas Colt Abraxas Colt . His tenacity was unstopable, his will to survive unshakable. He was a blur of motion, as he fought on. Braze was advancing towards Abraxas Colt Abraxas Colt , slowly but surely making his way closer.

Sularen watched as the Jedi once more dodged his shots, before he changed tactics shifting from trying to scare the Grand Admiral to trying to disorient him, warping the illusion in a disorienting manner with the colors draining away shifting in a revolving manner of black and white, soon accelerating in a manner that caused both colors to blend together in the form of flashing lights. Despite the disorienting lights, the Grand Admiral tried to keep focus on the Jedi Master, trying to fire another shot which caused him to stumble backwards. Before he knew it, the Jedi was on him knocking his Rail Pistol out of his hand and then throwing a secondary punch which connected with the Grand Admiral's chest, sending him flying to a wall and falling on the ground.

As the Grand Admiral tried to recollect himself, he looked upwards at the Jedi in the center of the swirling flashing lights, still trying to keep focus on the Jedi. Throwing a few coughs he offered a response to the Jedi's statements as he stood back up, still unable to lock on to the Jedi due to the swirling lights. "You call me a coward. Yet use your powers to gain an unfair advantage over me. But then i'm not surprised, your Order and the Alliance are filled with hypocrites." Sularen rebutted before closing his eyes, breathing in and out as he sought to sharpen his sense before reopening his eyes and looking straight at the Jedi with his illusions now having little effect on him. "Alright then, show me what you got Jedi." the Grand Admiral said as he shifted into a defensive stance, ready for a real fight.

BEEP BOOP!

”Yeah, no poodoo, that didn’t work!” Veda exchanged vulgarities with BB as he tried to clear the ringing in his ears and come up with his next move.

WHIRRRRRRRR! The astromech went spinning as a blaster bolt clipped its side, leaving behind a hole with exposed circuitry. Veda physically grabbed BB and slid him into cover before the troopers could finish him off.

”You dumb droid!” Beep boop! “Yeah it looks bad, but you’ll live.“ He took stock of his own injured arm. “Alright BB, there’s nothing more you can do here. Get back to the X-wing. See if you can get those shields back up and make sure the engine still works. No matter what happens here, this big warship’s seein’ its final moments right now.”

Beep boop! “Wait, what?” Beep boop! “No! If you leave without me, I’ll blow that X-wing up myself! Keep your comm open and wait!” Beep boop! BB took off toward the hangar, barely escaping more shots during his exit.

Now, Pal, what do you have left up your sleeve? Not a thing. He barely had sleeves at this point. Veda took a deep breath and darted around the corner, progressing a couple of meters before sliding behind some debris. Most of the fire was again focused on the Jedi, but they hadn’t completely forgotten about him since throwing that frag. A few shots flew so close over his head that he smelled the ozone burning around his face. These weren’t your normal, every day stormtroopers. These guys were trained. They had tenacity and precision that you don’t see in the regular line. Veda popped up to return fire, but he had to retreat back down after three wild shots that missed their mark.

The ship was rocking back and forth, unstable from the carnage. Veda did his best to time his next move with the listing of the Predator, using the momentum to spring up and make it another couple of meters before once again sliding into cover. If they stayed here much longer, they were all going to die. “Hey, kid!” he yelled at the Jedi Padawan. Braze Braze was still fighting his way through the troopers, but he was clearly injured from the onslaught of blaster fire earlier. Veda tried to lay down some cover fire, but he was again immediately met with a barrage of blaster bolts that sent him ducking. “Kid, we gotta go! This ship’s sinkin‘ fast, and we’re runnin’ out of lifeboats!”

At this point, Veda could not see the senior Jedi or the Grand Admiral. The air had become thick with smoke from everything being on fire. He wasn’t even sure where all the blaster shots were coming from anymore, much less how many troopers were still out there. He peaked around the chunk of durasteel he was using for cover and fired a few shots in the direction from where the last shots had come at him, with no way to confirm whether he hit anyone or anything.

"Sorry, I don't negotiate with terrorists."

Sularen wanted to see what Jasper was made of, so he was going to oblidge. There was no cowardice, nor hypocracy, only a job to be done and a terrible man that needed to be taken down a peg. Jasper displayed honor to only the honorable. The admiral had, by all accounts, waved away that right a thousand times over. That meant that this was going to be finished the old fashioned way: No punches withheld. He ran in and closed the distance as quickly as he could, making sure that he and his opponent were as close quarters as physically possible.

And then he began again.

Jasper gathered up force energy in his body, as the Matukai had taught him, moving it to where it was needed. He moved in immediately, attempting to knee Sularen in the gut. It was, of course, the beginning of a chain. As he did this, energy flowed into his forehead, Jasper using Soft to Solid to make his skin more rigid. It would protect himself, sure, but really this was just to make the blow hurt like hell. Jasper reared back his head and swung, commiting to a headbutt with all of the strength his body would allow for. There was going to be no sugarcoating...

This was gonna hurt.

The shrill scream from the Padawan brought a vile grin to the man’s face behind his helmet. He used the break in Braze’s defensive stance to pull himself back to his feet and retreat, his maneuver soundtracked by a chorus of screams and gurgles from what remained of his squad. An entire team, decimated by a boy. A child. He would be next, Abraxas knew it. The tenacious little bastard was moving with a renewed energy and swirling plasma blades. Brax glanced to the ominous canisters strapped to his utility belt, knowing what he had to do. He hated fighting dirty, but he remembered a chilling piece of wisdom he learned in the Imperial Academy: there are no war crimes for the victors.

Abraxes clutched the Ravenous grenade and snatched the pin, lofting it into the space between himself and the Jedi. It clanked against the charred floor, then exploded in a brilliant red mist. Droplets of Ravenous blood painted the corridor like a murder scene, but Brax didn’t wait long to see its effects. He fired twice for good measure before retreating further, distancing himself more from Braze Braze in case the detonation was ineffective. A massive explosion outside nearly sent the commando to the floor. It wouldn’t be long before they were fighting for escape pods. It was obvious the Predator was soon to be flaming through Coruscant’s atmosphere, and they along with it.

"Sorry, I don't negotiate with terrorists."

Sularen only growled in response, clearly angered by that statement. But then again the Grand Admiral wasn't that surprised, as all Jedi were like this holding the delusional belief that they held some sort of moral high ground over all beings in the galaxy and that their Order served as the ultimate moral authority in the galaxy, that answered to no law and no government. They were a representation of everything Sularen hated, people who were so blinded by their convictions and beliefs that they lacked the ability to be reasonable and understanding, unable to tolerate anything that didn't align their their views or agendas.

Just as the Grand Admiral collected his thoughts, the Jedi Master soon made his move, rushing to close the distance with Sularen before attempting to knee him in the gut. Reacting quickly, the Grand Admiral managed to block the Jedi Master's first strike with his left hand blocking the Jedi's knee and preventing it from striking his stomach. Then the Jedi would grab the Grand Admiral and try to give him a headbutt, however once again the Grand Admiral answered the second strike with a quick response, blocking the Jedi's strike with his cybernetic right arm by grabbing the Jedi Master's head and immediately halting it's momentum.

"Jedi scum" was all Sularen said before he retaliated, as he proceeded to stick two of his fingers down the Jedi's eye sockets and slowly push against them in order to make the Jedi slowly feel the pain. Then the Grand Admiral would proceed to throw a swing with his left hand towards the Jedi Master's gut in an attempt to deliver a rapid and powerful punch. Given at how the Jedi fought so far, Sularen knew that the Jedi had come to this fight with the belief and confidence that he'd be bringing in the Admiral into custody to stand trial for whatever bullshit crimes the Alliance would make up, but Sularen wasn't the type of person to go down easily. If this Jedi wanted a fight, he would give him one and make him understand that you do not fuck with the Warlord of the Empire.

Jasper winced as his head made contact with the mechanical arm, finding his head locked in place. Sularen went for his eyes, and immediately the knight moved to keep him from pressing into his eye sockets, grinding his teeth as he held back the man's arm. Another blow came to his stomach. Jasper lunched, but he held firm, using the Force to clear the pain from his body. Whatever damage he was taking now he could certainly handle it later.

It was enough to damage his eyes a little at least. He'd have to use the Force to see for a moment.

"IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!"

The man bellowed out, energy rippling around them. His voice boomed, amplified by the illusion. With a howl of determination, Jasper mustered his strength, clasping tightly onto the mechanical arm of the Admiral and yanking at it with all of his might. Steam billowed out from the piston in his prosthetic as he began to tear at it. Jasper wasn't aiming to warp metal. No, this was phrik. He pressed his foot down, using soft to solid to harden his stance and crush Sularen's foot down into place.

This arm was coming off, skin and bone with it. Jasper was going to tear his flesh.

Braze coughed violently as the MK1 Ravenous Grenade's deadly mist enveloped him, using the Force to conjure a powerful gust of wind that swept most of the heated spray away. Yet, the biological weapon's sinister microbes penetrated his defenses.

Pushing through the pain, Braze advanced relentlessly towards Abraxas Colt, deflecting two shots with ease. He launched four of the fiveG-20 Glop Grenades at Colt, and a head of where he was going, determined to capture the dishonorable coward who had shamelessly abandoned his comrades. The frantic retreat solidified Colt's status as an honor-less cur in Braze's eyes.

"IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!"

Sularen frowned at the Jedi Master's taunting somewhat annoyed at it, but he did not show any visible reaction. The Jedi had initiated a fight, and the Grand Admiral was going to give him one. As the Jedi moved his face around to keep Sularen from digging further into his eyesockets, the Grand Admiral shifted tactics instead tightening his grip over the Jedi Master's face and trying to apply more pressure in an attempt to do some damage onto his skull. However before the Grand Admiral could do any significant damage, the Jedi's own Mechanical Arm clasped tightly on Sularen's own arm with steam apparently flowing out of it as he tightened his grip and started to pull trying to rip the Grand Admiral's cybernetic arm right off.

Before Sularen could react, the Jedi stomped on his right foot, causing him to wince. "Why you..." Sularen muttered before further tightening his grip over the Jedi Master's face and leaning in closer to the Jedi as to counter his attempt to pull his arm, using all his strength to keep his arm in place and counter-act the Jedi's attempt to rip it off. Then the Grand Admiral mustered that same strength to attempt to slowly lift up the Jedi's body with the intent of slamming it against the wall.

However before the Grand Admiral could even make another move, the hallway shook as the Predator began to burn up in the atmosphere as it began it's final approach towards the surface of Coruscant. As the hallway shook and rocked back and forth, the Grand Admiral and the Jedi Master were both launched at one of the hallway walls, which caused Sularen to release Jasper upon impact.

When they were launched, Sularen released his grip. Jasper, however, did not. He took the impact of the sudden movement of the ship towards the ground, using the Force to ignore the feeling and pressing on. The damage was only damage. He would feel that pain at a later time. His resolve was not going to falter.

When they hit the ground, the Jedi Knight grappled Sularen with his legs, reinforcing them with soft to solid to hold the admiral in place. With his hands still clasped onto the mechanical arm of the former Mawite, Jasper simply kept pulling. He was using the Force to enhance his strength now, determined to pry the prosthetic from Sularen's flesh. It was as though he moved on instinct, guided by something that was greater than the sight he had temporarily lost. A determination was burning inside him, a drive to push on and do what must be done.

He activated one of the runes on his hand: Electricity, enscribed on the middle finger of his mechanical hand. He let the electrical energy surge into Sularen's arm, either to fry whatever was inside or damage whatever tissue was around it.

And kept pulling.

qXu9Rp6.png

As both Sularen and Jasper fell to the ground, the Jedi Master was quick to ignore the pain and grapple his legs around Sularen's own, using some kind of technique to strengthen his legs and prevent the Grand Admiral from breaking free. Then the Jedi pulled harder trying to yank Sularen's cybernetic arm off, but the Grand Admiral continued to resist using all his strength within his arm to pull back against the Jedi's attempt to pull his arm off. As the Grand Admiral resisted the Jedi, he watched as one of his tattoos activated before he soon felt an electrical surge in his arm, most likely in an attempt to fry his cybernetic arm in order to facilitate his efforts to rip it off.

However as the electrical surge poured through Sularen's arm he only smirked and taunted the Jedi Master. "That's all you got?" he said, repeating the Jedi's own words and mocking him, as his Cybernetic Arm was fortunately designed to be resistant to any sort of electric interference. Immediately, the Grand Admiral looked around looking for an avenue to launch a swift counter-attack, his eyes soon locking on one of his Pistols, specifically the one the Jedi had knocked out of his hand. Without hesitation, the Grand Admiral swiftly used his free left arm to grab onto his pistol before expending all of his remaining strength to pull his arm back against the Jedi's own mechanical arm, before quickly bringing his arm around and placing the barrel of his pistol on the Jedi's mechanical arm right where the pistons were located.

Then, the Grand Admiral pulled the trigger three times firing three rounds of high-velocity armor piercing rail projectiles at point-blank range on the mechanical pistons in the hopes of dealing significant damage to the Jedi Master's Mechanical Arm. If his gamble worked then perhaps he may be able to turn the tides of this fight as he had already exhausted all options. Nevertheless the Grand Admiral was still determined to fight on as he wasn't going to let this Jedi brute hand him over to his enemies in the Core in chains. He was the Warlord of the Empire and he would triumph against all obstacles, regardless of the odds.

A sinister laugh resonated through the storm commando's helmet, mocking Braze's coughing fit, knowing the Ravenous had entered the boy's bloodstream. The open wound above his knee saw to that, if simply breathing it in had not. It would take several minutes for the virus to replicate inside his body, slowly consuming the midichlorians and giving Abraxas a level playing field. Until then, he needed to survive a melee with the Padawan. He pulled an XR-70 vibroknife from his boot sheath, his best bet to parry the swirling lightsabers.

With the blade held backhand in a stabbing position and his blaster arm perpendicular over the knife, Abraxes stomped through the pool of hardening foam until his boots were stuck in place. He took a brief moment to chip at it with the knife before deciding to focus on Braze Braze instead. Another round of blaster bolts flung his way while the sharp edge of the vibroknife waited to taste the lightsaber or the boy's flesh, whichever bite it could take first.

"That's all you got?"

Sularen had grabbed hold of his pistol. The electricity seemed to be ineffective, draining more of Jasper's energy more than anything. He braced for the point blank impact, the three rounds fired denting the durasteel plating of his mechanical arm. The blowback tore the muscles in Jasper's shoulder, throwing him back ever so slightly, but his grip remained firm, holding onto the mechanical arm of the admiral for what one would assume was dear life. Without warning, Jasper threw his head forwards, biting the organic hand wielding the pistol with full force.

This was happening. No crashing ship or violently powerful pistol was going to hold Jasper back.

He was no doubt torn to shreads by now. The pain was supressed, but the damage was real, his torn muscles and sore eyes no doubt screaming in pain silently as Jasper pressed on. His mind was clear. The Force was guiding him forward, and the Jedi Knight had given into its will. He continued to pull at the prosthetic arm, intent on ripping it out of the admiral's flesh. Enduring through the heavy damage to his body.

Ready to see this battle to it's conclusion.

As Braze struggled to contain his coughing fit, the sinister laughter of manic Abraxas Colt echoed through his thoughts. The Ravenous virus was now spreading through Braze's bloodstream; He didn't knwo what was wrong with him but he could feel something was happening within. Despite the pain from his knee wound and the virus coursing through him, Braze focused on the swirling lightsabers before him, his breaths ragged and uneven.

Seeing Abraxas caught in the hardening foam, Braze paused his pursuit, shifting his stance into Soresu. He deftly deflected incoming blaster shots, each parry executed with precision amidst the violent coughs that racked his small form. The urgency to stop Abraxas from fleeing drove Braze forward, even as he struggled to maintain his focus.

With one last desperate effort, Braze extended a weak hand towards Abraxas, drawing on the Force to manipulate the air around his adversary. His intent was clear—to induce a non-violent suffocation, aiming for a strategic knockout to neutralize Abraxas's threat without further escalation.

The air around Abraxas tightened, pressure building as Braze pushed himself to achieve submission through incapacitation. It was a risky move, driven by the realization that Abraxas was too dangerous to approach directly in his current state. Braze's eyes narrowed, his resolve unwavering even as the Ravenous virus continued to weaken his body.

In this tense standoff, Braze silently prayed that his gambit would succeed, knowing that the outcome of this encounter could shape the course of the future.

At first, Abraxas attributed the thinning air supply to a potentially fatal breach in the Predator's hull, one that would surely suck the four of them out into space within moments if they didn't get behind a bulkhead. But neither Braze Braze nor Jasper Kai'el Jasper Kai'el and Admiral Marlon Sularen Marlon Sularen appeared phased. He realized, then, that the Padawan's hand was extended toward him. Somehow, the boy was manipulating the air around him, suffocating him. Brax felt a jolt of panic as his lungs began to burn from the unexpected lack of oxygen. He kept his knife at the ready while dropping aim and trying to blast the foam away from his boots. He wasn't sure if distance would break the awful Force ability's grip on his lungs or not, but freeing himself was the only way he could think to fill his chest with air.

The more he struggled to move his feet, the shorter his breaths got. Brax's vision started to tunnel around the edges, everything in his periphery fading into a shadowy vignette. He gripped the pistol tighter to make up for the weakness in his muscles and shot at the foam, and by the grace of the Emperor, it cracked. Abraxes fell backwards, landing supinely. He scrambled away from the thickest mounds of foam that hadn't quite hardened yet, clutching at his throat in a desperate bid to claw the oxygen into his windpipe. A devastating blow to the ship sent it rumbling again, sparks and wiring showering from the ceiling, further hindering the commando's vision. His options were clear now. He sent an unrelenting clip of blasterfire down the corridor, firing the pistol until steam burst from its heatsinks. The gleaming edge of his vibroknife seemed to dance under the reflective glow of the sparks and electrical fire above him. And if those weren't enough, there was always the second -and final- Ravenous grenade strapped to his hip.

"C'mon then, Jedi filth," Brax choked through gritted teeth with breathless lungs. His world was dimming fast, but he was determined not to be the only casualty among them.

Braze struggled to stay conscious, his helmet's systems assisting him through the pain as he staggered forward, each step shaky but resolute. His helm's internal systems kicked in, administering a surge of pain dampeners and oxygen to help him stay alert. Staggering forward, his boots magnetically locked to the floor, he was jolted repeatedly by the ship's violent rocking, yet he held his ground. His boots held firm to the floor, gripping with the tenacity of a predator refusing to let go of its prey. The blades he had been telekinetically manipulating flickered and fell, his vision blurring and focus waning, unable to sustain the intense use of the Force.

His eyes honed in on Abraxas, the commando's desperate struggle evident. With each strained breath, Braze drew on the suffocation, intensifying the grip on his adversary. Abraxas fired several more shots from his blaster, the bolts whizzing past Braze, several hitting him but not deterring his concentration.

Braze dropped his main hands blade, freeing his hand to make a pulling gesture as if yanking on an invisible rope in a fierce tug-of-war. The air around Abraxas was siphoned away more violently, the Padawan's resolve was terrifying. Each pull drained more of Abraxas' oxygen.

Through the chaos surrounding them, Braze's mind remained a razor's edge of focus, his willpower and the assistance of his helm the only things keeping him upright. His vision tunneled further, the periphery darkening, but he pushed through, driven by the necessity to overcome his opponent. The air around Brax was being siphoned away more violently, the invisible grip tightening. Braze's vision dimmed further, but his determination burned bright. He gritted his teeth, the edges of his consciousness fraying, but he would not relent.

As the ship jolted again, Braze staggered but did not fall, his boots' grip and sheer determination anchoring him. He could feel his strength waning, but he channeled every last ounce of his energy into the suffocating force grip, determined to see Abraxas fall before him.

Then, through the chaos and the smoke, a towering, humanoid droid-like figure tore its way into the hallway through a wall. Its form was nightmarish, with blue glowing photoreceptors that pierced the dim light, and long, metallic tendrils that writhed and coiled with an unsettling, almost organic fluidity. The droid had six arms and six tendrils, each moving with a spider-like grace.

As the droid emerged, its blue photoreceptors transfixed on Abraxas Colt Abraxas Colt , holding him in a gaze so intense it felt as though it could peer into his very soul. The droid's eyes seemed to bore into him for what must have felt like an eternity in momments. Then, with a fluid motion, the droid turned its attention to Braze.

"Young Master Braze, it appears you've found yourself in quite the predicament," the droid said in a posh, almost fatherly tone. "Let us remove you from this unpleasant situation."

With that, the droid's six tendrils wrapped around Braze, lifting him effortlessly. The six arms reached out, retrieving several weapons that had been dropped on the floor. The weapons began to tremble and then floated up, telekinetically summoned into the droid's many hands, creating a quite concerning display of power and precision.

Braze's strength was spent, his vision dimming further, but he managed a grim smile as the droid secured him. The mission was far from over, and he would live to fight another day.
