"I'm going, I'm going. Geez keep your panties on, Seven,"

If the Allycat could see Choli's grin, it would have split her face from ear to ear. The teenager had a bit of a hero's crush with the season pilot; she certainly looked up to her. If anything, Eleven was the sort of pilot Choli wanted to become one day. One step at a time though, they had to get out of this mess first!

Behind them, the Bando Gora began to shoot durasteel bolts. A few ended up striking at the ground, bringing up dust. There were a few close calls, and Choli had to swing right with a curse to avoid it.

"Chit, chit, chit!" she cried, flicking a glance back. Through her tinted goggles, she could see that they were loading up a grappling hook.

Oh frell.

"Watch out!" she cried out, warning the others.

Lilin took a very short glance at the Jedi Marshall before having to deal with enemies of her own. She would have wanted to help the man, but she knew her own health was much more important at that moment. Jacen wouldn't have such a fancy title if he weren't able to protect himself from these Sith. However, the Jedi Master did not have such a title -- she was also not as good as the man was.

An attack came from one of the enemies. He had struck at the woman's abdomen, which was a rather messy and clumsy move. Lilin could take a small jump backwards and she had already dodged the attack.

However, she now had to give her best. These people were all Acolytes from what she'd heard, so she wouldn't really want to die at their hands. Even though they were greater in numbers.

She slashed her saber at the man's right foot while raising her hand to deliver a gentle Force Push at the upper body of his. It was a risky maneouvre which she had not tried before. Whether she could actually hit the man or not was not going to be the main question here -- she had no time to think. She had to rely on her instincts.

Guns came up on all sides as Micah boldly stepped forwards. A spent cartridge bounced across the sand as one of the Beat Boys cocked an old fashioned hunting rifle.

A paw came to lightly rest on his forearm. It was the most delicate gesture Vexen had made in months. She wished very much that in that moment she could renew their bond through the Force, let him sooth her frayed soul.

"We take Harb's wheels," Vexen growled.

"Long as he fights."

"Fine," Vex lied. She had no intention of staying with the fleet, but couldn't get to escaping with a ring of firearms around her. A wave of murmurs ran around the circle.

"Right then," someone grunted. People started to back away, but few wanted to turn their backs on them. Vexen ignored them to wipe the blood from her claws across the sand.

"You can drive," she said to one of the dugs. He looked at her with suspicion, but gave a curt nod. He had been a pod racer before the fleet ran him down.

Vexen tugged Micah along behind her as she headed for the truck that still had a safer burn through the door. Jick was still howling over his severed leg.

"Don't leave me to die in the sand," he begged.

Vexen thought of the his the sensation if his boot driving into her gut. "Kay." Vexen yanked open the door and dragged him onto his side. He realised what was happening when she stopped the moment his head was against the frame.

Two slams of the door and she dragged what was left of Jick out and let the dug take the wheel. She leapt up into the back of the truck kicking the chains that had held for so long aside and setting herself down. When Micah was up beside her she smacked the window and the engine roared again. The fleet set off.

Vexen didn't say anything. She plotted their escape as she leaned over and placed her head across Micah's leg. She sighed and held him.

Alleycat juked and jived as the Bando Gora began shooting their durasteel bolts. One of those would definitely hurt and with no armor it was best to keep away from them as much as possible.

But with staying vigilant dodging those buggers through the smoke and flames of the burning fuel surrounding them, Russo didn't see the grappling hook come her way. It got a piece of the modified speeder bike's back chaise. When the cord went taunt, the brandy-eyed Rogue went flying off over the handle bars through the air. Not being able to use the Force to cushion her fall, the brunette tried to roll out of it though still hit the ground hard enough to re-injure her shoulder that was shattered against the canopy on exit in the EVA she'd had over Coruscant all those years ago when the One Sith invaded the Republic's capital planet.

A grunted scream crossed her lips, then multiple curses as Russo pushed up with her good arm and got to a crouch position to see if any Rogue was near to help the seasoned pilot.

"Seven! I need a pick up… " she yelled out as the hazy silhouette of [member="Choli Vyn"] came into view; sticking out her uninjured arm so the young Jedi pilot could swoop by and grab it, hopefully pulling Eleven onto the back of her speeder bike.

It was high time to finish this thing and go home!

A third strike would soon follow from his right, and Kahne maneuvered his blade across his front flying to greet the acolytes blade in a vertical motion that would block it solidly. A small opening for him was present as the Jedi raised his foot and planted it firmly across the stomach of the assailant knocking him backwards and would soon give Kahne the motion to move forward. The Jedi moved as quickly as he could placing his own array of attacks against his enemy, with him now being on the defensive. The others were busy just as he was, fighting for each other and their own.

The darkness was still there, just in a much greater physical form now. Which would need to be dealt with soon enough. Back and forward this was charging until the acolyte made a tactical error in judgement or in Kahnes own mind it was. He moved forward with an overhead strike that Kahne sidestepped quickly enough and with one fluid motion brought his blade down and then upwards against the assailants back as he passed by him searing that portion of his back.

Anger...He let out a loud grunt in pain as he charged Kahne again, yet his moves were slightly slower and more sloppy thus which would lead to his own demise once the next opening was available. As soon as it was present he would take that strike, allowing him to help his allies more when possible.

Truth be told, had Vexen not set her paw to Micah’s forearm as she did then, the young Talith would have sprung forward. There was a charge going through his body, a thrum that despite the sever from the Force said that he would kill every single one regardless of the risks. That was Micah’s flaw. He held his friends and his family dearly. The one and the few outweighed the needs of the many for him in that.

While there was no explaining what had happened to cut them off from the Force and their bond, Micah secured his hilt and found himself easily holding the petite Defel in his arms when Vexen curled herself against his body. His hands carefully swept over her, ignoring the dirt and the grime and the blood. They only saw his best friend. A friend who had been hurt.

She had found some measure of justice by the brutal behavior she had expressed earlier. Had Micah known the full story, he would have followed suit. For now, it had been Vex who stayed his hand. In the meantime they would wait. He knew there was to be no follow through in fighting. They would escape.

Even if he had to cut through every single one of the gang to do so.

Aaron stepped out of the house and was greeted, weirdly, by nobody.

There were no more criminals on the street, no law enforcement, nobody who would oppose the man. It was kind of weird to see that, seeing how he'd just killed all these outlaws in the house of the known crime lord.

He shrugged as he took few more steps away from the building.

Well, where had he left the speeder? He couldn't remember where he'd been before the criminals grabbed him. In the city centre? In the outskirts? Ugh, he hated that. Would he have to buy a new speeder just because he couldn't find his previous one?

Then he remembered he could use the Force.

Force Sense was a good ability -- not only was is useful when trying to locate individuals, but also when he had to locate his speeders. Yes, finding objects was much more difficult than it was to find living beings, but he'd learned a lot of the power during his life.

He would find the speeder.

All were subject to their own internal demons and those of a far more tangible nature. None more than the Jedi Master staring down at Qorbin Fal. Anger and frustration at being unable to tear through her defenses as he had before twisted his corrupted visage into a vicious snarl.

In an instant he struck. Not by way of the blade, but by using the power and energy he had sucked out of his weakest minion.

“Then we shall take a walk down memory lane, you and I.” he snarled, as his hands went lashing out to drive the Force into vicious claws that would attempt to rake at her mind. The jewel upon that circlet began to gleam, a soft glow that flashed bright as the protection it had intended came to life. While Adele shuddered under the onslaught, a soft cry falling from her lips, it did not have the impact Fal had given her before.

Jacen’s gift had indeed done as intended; protect her.

Nostrils flaring, the Iridonian brought her hands up. While the circlet may have offered protection, she could not completely depend on it. Up came her hands and in an instant she gave a shove back, intending to break Fal’s concentration to break the mental onslaught.

No mistake was made, no opening provided. Jacen's first gambit had been in the hope of getting through the pair quickly and towards Fal. It had not off. Instead Jacen was forced back at every turn, twisting and turning away with those hissing blades never far away. Fighting two opponents at once was never something to take lightly. He tried to keep them at a distance as much as possible, rolling one blade away but pressed by another quick jab from the second. Then he saw the bright flare upon the iridonian's brow. That was always intended as a last resort against a powerful mental assault.

Jacen swept his saber before him, forcing both acolytes back. A sudden telekinetic burst drove them back further, giving him space. Yet he didn't follow through. His saber came up before him vertically, held loosely in two hands. Jacen stood tall and closed his eyes. The dark jedi gathered themselves, holding their distance. They looked to each other. The woman looked confused, the man shrugged.

Voidstalker half opened one eye. "Come on then," he murmured.

The alleycat wouldn't be left alone long. Choli gave a grunt, her speeder picking up debris and sand as it spun in an arc. Breaking hard, the speederbike swung, only to pick up speed right back up in the direction of Eleven.

"Chit!" She cursed under her breath. With a downward kick, she sent the speederbike forward, every intention of sliding beside the woman to pick her up. Come on, they could do this!

Extending out her hand, Choli went reaching for Alexandra. Just a little bit closer -- Wham!

Her hand connected with the Alleycat's own, and a sharp tug brought her behind her. "Hold on!" She cried out, sending her speeder out into the burning fields. The smoke and sand a cover for them to disappear into the dark.
