Loske, having only truly been alive for four years and most of that time spent in intensive training and simulator pods, had no idea what Choli was talking about. It was a good thing there was so much stress in the young pilot’s voice.

Her head jerked in the direction Choli seemed to be looking and eyes widened beneath her visor when visual contact was made. Fear became visible in the teenager’s eyes at the horrible display that advanced on the foreign squadron.

With weight to her wrist, she increased her velocity; her swoop bike giving a roar and she leaned forward, coaxing the makeshift vehicle to move forward more and more and more and faster and faster and faster.

The burning fields ahead would provide…what? Temporary shields? Protection? Even if they got there, they’d still have something to contend with.

Recognizing that this wasn’t just a game they could outrace, in regrets to her last announcement, the girl rolled the heel of her hand over the mouse-like adjustment from her former cockpit yoke. The movement triggered her weapons system; reversing their forward point to backward.

“Engaging!” Loske transmitted, not sacrificing speak for aim accuracy and fired off random streaks of concentrated proton beams behind her against the oncoming threats.

Silver-green eyes held the Kiffar with something that casually crossed between curiosity and amusement. Whatever her internal musings, she somehow arrived at the conclusion that she was in the position to make declarative statements in regard to him. This was a fallacy. A fallacy that generally provoked the Sith Lord's serene yet unforgiving disapproval.

For their shared past of torture and abuse, he would forgive the oversight. A thin smile slowly etched its way into Cameron's facial features. "Coincidence is merely a word utilized by the untrained to explain that which they cannot actually explain." The Sith Lord had abandoned most of the general trappings of societal perception long ago.

As the thin smile on his face disappeared, Cameron motioned for [member="Vehanv Kiva"] to follow. "Come."

Kahne had often felt this sort of darkness before, a long time ago when he was just a kid. Nothing more than than a shimmering light falling endlessly into a sea of darkness. At some point there didn't seem like there was any hope of escape. Until chance reached for his hand and plucked him away from such a thing. However the Jedi Master wasn't that kid anymore as he had transformed into his own beacon of strength and hope. And during his time he would soon lead and fight alongside those he called friends. He remembered their names well, as their physical forms seemingly faded away to the netherworld of the force. Kahne knew that he would never forget them, and here he was again.

Things were different this time though.

His eyes fixated on that darkness that was slowly approaching until that concentration broke gently as he turned his head towards the woman and Kahne took a deep breath. The Jedi gave the smallest of nods and exhaled slowly.

"I'm a friend." He answered easily enough, catching her gaze for a moment before looking back. He could sense hesitation, or even perhaps caution as he caught her gaze for those few precious second. If it was even towards him, or towards shadows in field. She didn't know him, and Kahne didn't blame her for being such, if that was the case at all.

"We should have picked a different location for the ritual." One of the Wilders spoke out. They were surrounded by mountains and plains and wild, but the cultists were anxious regardless.

"The leyline is strongest here, Katchev."
"That is what worries me."

They were not homogeneous, not by a long stretch. Corrupted Jungle Priests from the outskirts of Ithor, a remnant of a remnant of would-be Blackguards from the molten fields of Mustafar, resurgent Bando Gora from rocky Kohlma and there was even an Ember from their invisible fleet.

The call had been made and they had answered with no doubt on their mind.

"The Kursk has spoken." Vekis Cha spoke over his shoulder. He patiently waited while looking out over the valley beneath. It was a long fall, but the Minion hid his anxiety.

"The Kursk has no authority over me."

That same Wilder eyed the woman. "The Kursk has made this ritual possible, you will respect his name, Bando Gora."

"Enough." The Jungle Priest’s voice lashed through the arguing. "We begin now."

Eerie singing started to fill the once-silent air, but that was just the beginning.

"Jacen, we can't keep fighting them," Lilin said as she jumped off the akk dogs whom she'd killed with a hit into its eye. She would not want to do that anymore -- killing these innocent creatures was not her thing, especially when she had to use such brutal methods. Why the kark had she not learned Animal Friendship, she thought to herself once again.

She could hear one of the dogs coming up from behind her. With a quick movement, she turned around to look into the eyes of the beast. And it was one of the most terrifying things she'd ever experienced.

Her lightsaber moved in front of her fast, ready to attack. She didn't know what to do. Should she kill it or try to find another way to get out of the situation? Ugh, she was horrible when it came to killing animals like these.

Without much thinking, she jumped as high as she could while desperately hoping the dog wouldn't try to jump as well. She tried to do a somersault in the air to gain more power to land on the animal's back. She would not try to hit its eyes this time, but more to be in a safe place while she was thinking what to do with this one.

She held the beast as strong as she could, but that proved fruitless. Within a moment, she was down on the ground, her back facing the ground and hurting like hell. The akk dog had really used all the strength it'd had to knock her down.

“You have got to be kidding me…” Micah said with a small pant, blue and orange eye swiveling from left to right. Dust rose high, and it was only through his HUD that he was able to make much of anything. Here was the issue about being far too used with having the Force by your side. Perhaps an extended trip to Myrkr was in the cards.

The Dugs came at him at breakneck speed.

“Can’t we just talk about this?” he cried out, but it only fell on deaf ears and the drone of engines.

“Didn’t think so…” he sighed, tensing his jaw as he brought the saber up. A quick glance and flex of his gauntlet was done to test it. Tiny little crackles of blue went flowing over it. Okay, it was still operational.

Good.

When the first Dug came at him, the dance began. The more limber Talith managed to keep up and dodge the sharp kicks and snarls aimed at his direction, his saber butterflying and sweeping to making non lethal slashes at legs and arms.

The sizzle of flesh filled the air, along with the scent of charred flesh.

“Look… I really don’t want to --” side step, back and a parry. “Do this.”

“Can’t we just… “ a strafe and and sudden smack of his hand against a chest; the powerful charge of electricity from the stun gauntlet made the Dug jerk in place like a mannequin.

“ -- Parlay?!”

Adele’s throat would bob as she swallowed. There was a fine trembling to her hands that she kept hidden by tucking them along the length of fabric of her robe. There was something else out there. Her senses could trace it. It was familiar. It was dark. It was --
A brief jolt seemed to run through her. Another thread within that fabric. Confusion arose within the depths of those ice blue eyes. She felt him. [member="Jacen Voidstalker"].
He was here.
There was a faint blanching of her countenance, followed by a furrowing of her delicate brow. There was no time to discuss things further. That miasma of energy was slinking in closer. She knew it well.
It was the Vanguard.
Those dark shadows rippled as they slithered closer. Dark Jedi sent to find her. Their leader knew well what he had touched upon A’dele’s mind not long past. To bring her to the brink again was to tempt her into the darkness.
Murmurs began to whisper within the shell of her ear. Within her mind, she could feel the shift of that large body under that treacherous pool, swimming within the depths, rising to the surface.
“You are not welcomed here.” she said quietly, firmly. The stranger might have thought it was said to him, but it was not. Her attention wasn’t drawn to the man, but to the shadows that went beyond and within herself.

Haruun Kal.

Aaron's eyes flickered around the planet's surface as she stood in the ship in the atmosphere of the world. He'd not been there for long. Not because he hadn't wanted to. More because he hadn't had a chance to do that. All these missions and the work he had to do in the Alliance were just a little bit too much to let him wander around the galaxy.

Not like he really would have wanted to be an adventurer anymore. He loved just chillin' around at home or at work, doing his stuff. But he seriously loved Haruun Kal. It was the place where he'd met one of her first lovers. And that's where she had found his third lover. And well, the fourth one as well, but that is a difficult subject.

He sighed, thinking about what he could do on the planet. He wouldn't visit his exes, that was for sure. But he had some business on the world, and that is why he was headed there.

He would head to Pelek Baw, which was the capital of Haruun Kal, and meet with people to prepare for the job he had there. This time, however, it was no Alliance job. Well, not directly at least. It was all to better the quality of the planet and its life and so on -- a criminal had gone to the planet and he really really wanted to get him out of there.

Yes, the criminal was his fourth lover.

Ugh how he hated that sithspit.

[member="Micah Talith"]

But there was no parlay. Just whooping and hollering from the men hanging out if their windows and the revving of engines as they circled. They all knew the truth, if the wild dugs didn't get him, someone would. Had some shiny gear on him too.

Two dugs darted and weaved two draw him forwards, whilst the humanoids circled. A rock was thrown that bounced off his helm. That's when one of them crashed into him from behind. Sharp, swift and silent. As he was pressed down there was a snarl and growl from behind his head. Not a dug. Claws and teeth scratched against his armour, probing for a gap in his armour.

Then it stopped. The weight remained in place, but the snarls and scratches were replaced by a soft sniffing. A dug rushed forwards with a wrench, looking to end the fight by crushing the head of the prone human.

The weight on Micah's back shifted. The dug fell away, the flesh beneath it's head eviscerated. Blood stained the sand.

"What you doin'?" Harb called, levelling his revolver. "Move away" But the thing on Micah's back merely stood over him.

"Micah?" the voice was familiar. Almost gravelly, but familiar all the same.

Aaron would definitely not land in a spaceport. He was sure Liz would be able to get all the information about his sudden appearance if he arrived using official methods. Instead, he would land somewhere outside the capital, cleverly hide his ship, and then make her way to the city to meet the fourth lover.

He wanted to end her criminal life. He wanted to bring her to justice. Just like many people had tried to do that during their lives, not managing to succeed. He knew the woman was capable of a lot -- he had a slight advantage over the others in this case. After having dater her for nearly a year, he pretty much knew a lot of the woman.

And that information would be the most useful that day.

His ship made its way to a very random place on the fields somewhere far away from Pelek Baw. He had a speeder with him, so traveling there would be nothing. He wasn't in a hurry, either. Liz was on Haruun Kal not because of a one-time misison. She had seriously returned to her home planet.

Aaron stepped out of the ship, stretched a little bit, and then patted on his lightsaber. He would have to use it that day. There was no way he could get Liz without putting up a little fight.

Micah tasted the metallic tang of copper. He’d bit his lip when whatever had tackled him from behind had pinned him to the ground. This wasn’t good. Now he was going to --

“Micah?”

The familiar voice struck him. He hadn’t felt her. But he knew that voice. His neck gave a slight crane to the right, the HUD turning to try and get a glance. A spray of blood followed; not his, thankfully.

“Vex?” the modulated echo of Micah’s voice would question in surprise and curiosity. However, the gang was not about to simply hold fast while this little reunion came into play.

A blaster rifle came up, one of the few to try and send a volley of bolts down range to them both.

“Uhh… right now would be a good time to let me up.” He said, hand reaching for his deactivated saber hilt. Things were about to get interesting.

Objective 1
Reaver Territory - The Burning Fields

The reaver's speeders were quickly catching up.

At the very least, Rogue Squadron's make shift speeder bikes had speed in their favor. A few of them were able to send a couple of pot shots for cover, but it wouldn't be enough.

They had to use their surroundings. The cover of the burning fields would allow them to escape and hide within the dark plumes; however, it would not be without risks. That same cover could prove dangerous to them, as dark, turbulent twisters took hold across the landscape.
“Keep going!” she shouted, as she sped ever faster.

NPC: Liz the Fourth Lover

Liz was seated in her little garden in Pelek Baw, the capital, reading a book and just unwinding a little bit. She had done a lot of work as a crime lord and now she was thinking about taking a break. Not really retiring, because she was too young for that. But she really didn't want to continue being who she was for a few months at least. All this crime took all her energy and she barely had time to do anything else.

It was good to be at home.

The book she was reading was not really a popular one. It was by an indie author, probably from Haruun Kal. She loved reading such books every now and then, even though she was not much of a reader. Never had been one.

"Miss, we have received reports," a man - one of her servants - stepped into the garden. He was wearing a completely white suit, just like every other servant the woman had. It was her own personal wish to have all of her servants wearing such elegant suits. She had the money, so it wasn't much of a trouble to get these for all of them.

"Reports of what exactly?" Liz asked.

"One of your former lovers, I hear."

"Huh, I thought he'd never come back to me," the woman spoke, putting her book next to her on the bench. "We shall greet him, shouldn't we?" She stood up and tried to look as careless as she possibly could. However, she was nothing like that inside. All that she could really feel was fear. Mostly because she was pretty sure she knew which of her former lovers it was.

Burning Fields
Alley - Rogues
Post 3
---

Gods it had to be Reavers. When would this nightmare ever end? Oh right… Rogue Squadron needed the fuel to get themselves off the planet. Tis why they were going into the flame so to speak.

"I'm going, I'm going. Geez keep your panties on, Seven," Alex shouted back at [member="Choli Vyn"], already putting the pedal to the medal of the modified speeder bike trying to give covering fire at the same time. For such a young pup, the girl was sure bossy. Of course Russo was gonna get the hell out of there as fast as she could. Okay so maybe the Taanabian had a bit of PMS today. This was not her forte, and all be damned Alleycat didn't have to pretend to enjoy this ground action at all. Give her a ship and a rock to land it on, then she was happy. (and crash landing didn't count.)

Even though Russo had a bandana around her nose and mouth, the toxic fumes of the burning fields made her cough, and chest burn with each breath. Good thing the seal around her goggles was holding well so the pilot could see, well kinda.

Finding cover amongst the black plumes of smoke was easy, but the damn heat cyclones were making it hard to keep control of her speeder bike and stay vigilant against the enemy. Russo had a bad feeling about this.

The Jedi Master closed his eyes and took a deep breath and thus exhaled slowly taking in as much air as he cold, the coldness filling his nostrils then being released with a small brace of warmth. He heard the words that the woman spoke, he heard them plainly, yet he didn't heed them very well. As he turned fully towards her and cocked his head to the side for a moment, as if he was trying to understand the hidden meaning between those of there was any. The Jedi sensed there was more to her that what he could see right now, something else that was driving this ordeal that she seemed to be going through. The Jedi knew there wasn't any time for explanations at least right then and there from what he could tell, the darkness was there and it was in that moment that he heard the faintest of whispers in his ear as the Jedi turned back towards the distance that he looked previously before.

Kahne's gaze pierced that distance in itself almost as if his eyes had been granted the ability to see further than the average person could. The Jedi narrowed his eyes for a moment just as a face seemingly appeared within a cloud and blanket of darkness. Kahne took a deep breath and exhaled slowly again.

"Impossible..." The Jedi muttered just under his breath as he glanced back towards the woman. The Jedi took a few steps closer towards her, not wanting to be to brash or anything that such. The Jedi closed the distance between them but at a slightly slow pace as he raised his hand towards her, his right hand reaching out and slowly placed on her shoulder, his lightside aura emitting from him at that moment, as to let her know that he wasn't an enemy, and wasn't going to hurt her. He just wondered what he could do to help, if he even could.

Aaron had made it to the city with his speeder and was now looking around. It was to be expected that the woman didn't live in the same house which she had lived in before, so locating her must have been slightly more difficult. But the man told himself not to fear -- he would have to have his revenge on the woman and bring her to her knees so that she could answer to the crimes she'd committed.

He was not wearing much that day. No fancy armour, no capes, no Jedi robes. All he wore were some trousers, a jacket and black boots. Oh, and of course he had his lightsaber on his belt.

In the distance, Aaron could hear some rumble, as if there were people running and screaming. He couldn't really tell what it was, but he had some assumptions. And all of these assumptions told him to run. Yet... what if they were Liz's people? They could bring the man to her. Or if not, he would fight with them. There was no way he would lose to a criminal, right?

The shouts started coming towards him, just like the footsteps did. There were many men, he could tell. And even though he could see no people yet, he sensed there would be too many for him to handle. Not two or three, more like ten.

And then he could see them. About a dozen men, all dressed in pathetic outfits and using only blasters to make their way through the crowd. Were these really the men of Liz? Had she spent all of her time as a crime lord to find people who couldn't even be bothered to use better equipment? What kind of people were they to kill innocent people?

Ugh.

That brief contact made A’dele finch. She wasn’t one to ever have another within her personal space; it made her feel uncomfortable. Vulnerable. As if they would be able to tell what lay below the surface if they came too close. That had been her fear when it came to the Jedi Master she had been tasked to oversee. What had culminated in the wake of those events, well… even all her preparations had been for naught.

While the Iridonian did not show any semblance of aggression to the man, she kept her ice blue gaze set straight at the shadows that were drawing nearer. Their bodies became tangible; T’was a trick of the Force. No lightsaber in hand, A’dele merely took a trembling breath. She had to keep her mind calm. However, it was proving to be difficult as the whisper of another would fill the air.

“We have been searching for you… sister. “

A small flex of muscle would twitch at her jaw. A slow blink, and A’dele gave a slight rise of her chin.

“You are not welcomed here.” she said plainly. At that six Dark Jedi congregated in a semi-circle around her and Kahne.

Six bright orange blades ignited with a snap-hiss of life.

“Oh but we are.” a slow grin crept over the leader. “By you.”
“You should go.” A’dele said plainly. This time, it was directed to Kahne. For his safety.

As his hand graced her shoulder he felt her flinch slightly, at which that made Kahne aware of something. However his hand didn't move after that, he heard the voice of one from afar and that was when the impending darkness became clear or perhaps it was another trick by the darkside.

“We have been searching for you… sister. “

The Jedi Master looked over to the one whom had spoke as he took a deep breath, and exhaled slowly. Panicking right now wouldn't do anyone any good, and Kahne had been faced with odds seemingly terrifying before, and he had gotten through as well as could be expected perhaps with several bumps, scratches and bruises. The Jedi knew however that their ally was the force, and powerful ally it was. And not to mention besides that, the woman had Kahne and vice versa, if only for that brief moment in time.

"I'm not going anywhere." The Jedi said calmly and plainly as can be as he glanced over towards the woman. The Jedi drew upon another breath of air as he glanced around at those that had circled them both. The Jedi closed his eyes for a brief moment as he centered himself, the force surrounding them as a nexus of lightside energy seemingly shined between them.

“By you.”

"I believe, that invitation if it was one has been withdrawn."

And then the men were close enough to Aaron so that they could easily have a conversation.

"You do know that your presence has been noticed by Liz, right?" one of the men asked from the Master. The people were clearly criminals, lacking in armour and weapons. However, they had numbers. And Aaron couldn't just fight against all of them. He had to come up with a better plan. Whether it was to quickly contact his exes, run, or just go with the flow, he had to come up with something. Because obviously he couldn't fight there.

"That was my plan, karkarses," the man said in response to the leader of the criminals. He was definitely still a servant of Liz's, but he just looked like he was above the most of her servants. Y'know, everything about him spoke of leadership.

"I doubt so," came a reply. However, the man did not seem to want to fight Aaron, which was a nice thing. They had either been given the order not to kill him or he just didn't feel like destroying the crime lord's former lover just yet. Well, at least Aaron was alive. And that is all that mattered to him. "Come with us."

"To Liz's abode?" the Master asked. "You've got to be kidding me. You want me to come with you?" He almost burst into a fake laugh. Of course the woman had sent them to take Aaron with them to the crime lord's home. Whatever Liz wanted from him, she definitely had a clever plan. And most of the woman's plans ended up with the victim (definitely not the woman herself) getting brutally wrecked and turned into an onion or something. Wicked stuff.

"Well, yes, Elizabeth has requested you to give her a visit."

Bang

Even with the flash-bang going off some distance, Jacen found his ears faintly ringing. The dogs had great wide eyes, sensitive ears. They scurried or crawled away as fast as they could, leaving the dead behind. Mostly. One of them managed to bound off with a body still grasped in its jaws. Jacen shook his head, lightsaber blade extinguished as he returned it to his belt.

The grenade seemed to have shaken his concentration and focus. He walked in a slow circle, trying to clear his head.

No, not the grenade. No...she can't be...he can't...

Two familiar presences. Both he had wanted to track down before, but after last time he had never wanted to find the two in proximity. Jacen had no time to consider what this meant, the ponder on what he was about to rush into. This was one of those times where there could only be trust in his skills and instincts to see him through.

"Lilin, we need to go....now...fast..." Jacen's saber was in his hand again as he turned and dove into the undergrowth.
