"Cliques" & You

Perhaps I am late to the party on this one. But, the Sith RPers on this board have a special place in my RP heart so I somehow feel compelled to post. Perhaps it's the darkside calling me to.

I am not privy to the OOC drama that goes around admin elections and decisions but, I have been on this site from the early days when Moridin was jostling for power over the Sith Empire. Whether successful or not, I have been present for every iteration of the Sith to follow. Through this experience I have noticed a certain resentment from other factions with the Sith's propensity to steam rush and to appear monolithic and obtuse. And perhaps it is this appearance that facilitates the suspicions of some other outward force that helps their progression. Whether this is true or not, I cannot say myself. However, I would like to explain were this almost monolithic "clique" like barrier to entry illusion comes from.

From Moridin to Ashin to Voracitos to now. The Sith always had one thing that was always their greatest weapon- dedicated and hyper-enthusiastic RPers. It never ceases to amaze me how when threatened the entire faction will mobilize in a unified almost servant like manner to the call of war, dominions or defence. The Sith faction is run by very skilled and vivid writers, from [member="Darth Vornskr"] and [member="Darth Isolda"] to [member="Reverance"] and [member="Silara"] the Sith have always banded around talented RPers. And it this influence that sometimes puts people off about the Sith. Their constant presence as villains, RPers and general members of site seems almost too good to be true, something must be propping them up. The fact of the matter is this was also the case when [member="Ashin Varanin"]'s Sith Empire was the dominant counter-force on the site.

But, let me assure you it is pure RP Willpower. The Sith are very united and homogeneous in their support and love for their faction, sometimes too much and that is what causes it to disintegrate. IN general before I lose the plot here -

to be brutally frank I have not seen, within the Sith, a more uniformly active, mutually supported and high calibre of RPing since the days of the Old Sith Empire back when I was a Sith Knight.

I couldn't care less what supposed cliques do what to who. I'm here to roleplay in a Star Wars community. I'm having fun. I'll keep doing it as long as I'm having fun. If I feel like my digital neck is being stepped on I'll go somewhere else.
