Liin Terallo
"I understand your concerns, Director Terallo. The Mandalorians have a history of forcefully asserting their sovereignty. Perhaps we will deal with that leg of the corridor once we reach there. By then, our Authority will likely have the power to annihilate them anyways. In the meantime, I suppose--" He sighs, shifting uncomfortably in his seat, as if the credits were leaving his back wallet already
. "We will have to play everyone's favorite game, Let's Make a Deal".

Makai Dashiell
Ova Ziss watches Dashiell with interest. He knew that Dantooine's mining industry could easily work together with mining domains in other parts of the galaxy, and that everybody will be better off for it. It was important not to upset them, even though Ova strongly dissented.
"Mr…Dashiell, is it? I respect what you've said, but I disagree. Dantooine is an ideal location for a neutral trading hub, and even the Diarch agrees." Ova nods to the Diarch.
"Although the planet and the space station are not well-populated, and the former Jedi Embassy is not active anymore, it is still a bustling trade hub because it's a stone's throw away from the Braxant Run."
"Besides, as a fellow industrialist, I'm sure that the idea of acquiring focus crystals interests you? The Dantooine crystal caves haven't been touched in some time. We're prepared to open them back up…with some help. There are ancient defenses there that must be disabled."

Diarch Reign
Ova Ziss listens to the Diarch. His respect for the leader is growing each time he speaks. Ova was not incredibly excited for Dantooine to lose its independence…but, perhaps it didn't have to. And if it was to lose its independence, it was good to have a leader such as this man - who spoke softly and calmly, while carrying the unbelievable power of the force as his mighty, secret stick.
"I see that the Space Station is an important position for you to keep, Diarch. Your primary concern is for the people, and so is mine. There are enemies I do not trust out there in the galaxy, enemies like the Mandalorian pirates who didn't show today. I can see, on the other hand, that the Diarchy can be a friend. Please, if the military must come to the Space Station, then they will come. You can dock for free, and we'll find rental suites for your troops as a discounted rate for as long as they're garrisoned on Dantooine."
There was a slight pause as Ova Ziss thought. He had captivated the table with his trade corridor proposal. Now, it was time to reel it in.
"Tell you what. Let's make a deal." Ova's eyes glimmered. Those were his favorite words in the whole world, and they made a whole lot of problems go away: problems like military folks driving off more than half of his customers. He knew exactly what to ask – and he asked it.
"If the Diarchy is so determined to take Dantooine, then make me Dantooine's Governor. It can be a state, a state of the Diarchy. The United Trade Authority will compete against the impotent, extortionist Trade Federation. If the Diarchist forces will help us arrest the crooked Trade Federation and send their politicians away, this would greatly help Dantooine. It would commence the beginning of a golden era, and the old Enclave would be more than a dusty museum."
"I know plenty about the Trade Federation here on Dantooine. They are incompetent, and they've got to go." Ova Ziss finished his cocktail. He politely ordered another, much stronger drink. It looked translucent. The liquor was loosening Ziss's tongue.
Saija Kwann
Despite
Saija Kwann
's proximity to Ova Ziss, the man did not make any romantic advancements towards her. He seemed to be playing it cool, treating her just like any other guest. When the time was right, however, he wanted a word with her about her true origins.
Alone.
"I know it's impolite to talk about politics at the dinner table, but the Trade Federation are a tiresome sort and I'm quite sick of being in their employ. They are merely a bunch of crooks with degrees. We can do better. Can't we, folks?"
Ova Ziss looked around the table for agreement.
