Glanced over at her, studying her face silently again without saying a word. To him the offer seemed almost as if she were joking, after all trust had not been a thing that came to him easily nor did it come to him without some kind of catch. But she seemed sincere, both his abilities in the force and life as an Echani providing him with the feeling that her expression and actions showed the sincerity. But he remained silent none the less as he studied her for the truth. Only after a solid, probably uncomfortable for Scarlet, minute of silence he spoke. "Why?" @[member="Scarlet Faith"]

 

[Scarlet Faith]

Scarlet looked a little confused. "I... well-I- I just like helping people out, is all. Is that so bad?" She frowned a little, pouting almost. "I have about as much reason to trust as you do. But hey, we've all gotta try someday, right? Give it a go, I promise it'll be worth your while!" She gave him a wide smile, laughing softly.

He stared for a few more moments before bowing his head slightly and giving a light smile. "Very well then, i accept your offer miss Faith. Ill travel with you for a time and see how things turn out." He looked back at the memorial, then the saber that had lain in front of it for the last few minutes while they talked. He reached out and took it in his hand before putting clipping it behind him at the small of his back. Though he remained sitting incase she wanted to talk more. @[member="Scarlet Faith"]

 

[Scarlet Faith]

"YAY!" The young girl hugged him tightly for a second, then pulled back and blushed. "We're gonna have so much fun, I guarantee it."

He looked at her, completely and utterly stunned by the sudden action of her hugging him. "Uh... what was that for?" He stared at her, still trying to figure out what happened, even touching his back to make sure she hadn't tried to stab him or something. @[member="Scarlet Faith"]

Scarlet shrugged and giggled a little. "Sorry, i'm just kinda overactive sometimes. It happens a lot. " She looked at him quizzically. "Too much?"

Yusan shook his head before responding, his tone still light and somewhat cheerful. "Not at all, it was just strange and different for something like that to happen. Never had someone do that." @[member="Scarlet Faith"]

"Well then I guess you'll have to get used to it." Scarlet smiled at him softly. "We'll be best friends in no time! Just you watch!" She was glad to finally have a person to share her ship with. It was a nice, cozy vessel, and was one of the fastest on the market. She was proud of her baby, and treasured it almost as much as her scythe.

"Thank you then miss faith, this will definitely be an interesting change of pace for once. Though I do warn you, im somewhat of a recluse and not that big of a social type. So uh, don't expect to see me a lot even on your ship." He rubbed his neck, a visual sign of nervousness and having no idea how else to continue the conversation. Something like what was happening is strange and completely foreign to Yusan, that and the prospect of a friend was near death frightening for someone who's never had anything remotely close to such a thing. @[member='Scarlet Faith'],

The 'you won't see me much' speech seed to have no effect on Scarlet, and she just giggled and took the man's hand, pulling him up. "Well whatcha waiting for? Come on!" She led him through the forest to her ship, a crimson red-orange in contrast to the deep red of her cloak. The interior was al hued in various shades of red. "Come on in! You'll love it!" She walked inside and flopped on a small plush couch in the back.

"Uh. Hey uh, slow down." He stuttered and rambled as she pulled him through the forest, unsure what to say if there was anything to say. When she finally did bring him to the ship and then subsequently within it, he looked absolutely petrified as he stood there. As if he'd never seen something like this, or rather been in something like this. He took a few moments to stare and take in everything around him before looking at Scarlet. "Uh, i do need to go back to get my stuff, you kinda pulled me along without warning and this is all new to me and uh." He was rambling again, trying to find what he wanted to say or how to express it. @[member="Scarlet Faith"]

Scarlet bopped her forehead. Of course, he had to pack! "Tell you what big guy, go ahead and ack whatever you need, and meet me back here, okay?" She flashed another one of her cute smiles at him.

He rubbed his neck again and nodded, but still seemed struck by what had just happened as he remained where he was. "Uh right, thank you and uh... ill be back." He made for the ramp of the ship and looked at the forest, breathing in and staring at the treeline. He sighed and looked up at the sky. "Ill be back Eshan." He headed off into the forest, heading for his hidden camp.

While her passenger ran off to go pack, Scarlet headed to her quarters and relaxed with a video game for a while. The little device was built and programmed by her, and ran on a very low amount of power. Just one of her many contraptions built to satisfy her growing need to create things. She had just reached level seven when she heard something outside. "Yusan? Is that you?" She got up and smiled wide, ready to take her new friend on an adventure. Upon reaching the door, however, she was surprised at what she found. "You're not Yusan..."

Returned to the ramp of the ship nearly an hour later with his possessions lain out on a repulsor sled he pushed infront of him. Most of the stuff on it was normal, the only odd thing being what looked like a holoprojector that was connected to a scrambler device. He looked inside the ramp and yelled in, "Uh Hello, Miss Faith. I need to know where i can set all this inside the ship?" He looked up the ramp, waiting for her to appear or show up. @[member="Scarlet Faith"]

Scarlet had been staring at the other man for a good two minutes when Yusan had returned. She wasn't sure exactly who he was or what he was doing here, but perhaps her new friend could help her out there. "Um... Yusan? Friend of yours?"

Looked at the man, confused. "Uh no... can i know your name sir?" He waited for the man to respond, his hand drifting behind him as he stood there. @[member="Scarlet Faith"]

 

[Scarlet Faith]

The man responded by pulling a weapon and making a hand motion, after which three others emerged from the forest. "Yusan... Run! Get inside, I think it's time to go now!" Sje stood by the entrance and waited for her friend to step inside.

Yusan didn't even hear her before reacting, his hand shooting in his robe and out within a second and igniting the blade as it was drawn. The single bladed saber humming as he bolted forward and went not for the closest man but for the three by the tree line. Though he did send a wave of force energy at the one by the ship which sent him hard into the metal hull. His focus now off the obvious leader he dispatched a series of blaster bolts shot at him, though one clipped him in the left shoulder and another in the right thigh. His speed was barely impeded, feeding off the force to keep it up as he reached the first one and without mercy sawed off the blaster's barrel then cut the man's chest open. Once done there he turned towards the other two and prepared to block another volley of bolts shot at him as he stood there, waiting for an opening. During such time he was hit once more in the side, but it didn't seem to phase him as that much as the rest of the bolts did not reach him.@[member="Scarlet Faith"]

Scarlet watched in shock as Yusan dispatched the group of men. She couldn't have done a better job herself with her scythe. They were badly hurt, but still breathing, and most likely very pissed. The safest thing to do now would be to haul tail into the ship so they could leave. Time for her to take charge. "Yusan! Get inside! Move it!" She watched the combatants carefully. "They won't be out for long, lets go!"
