Commenor Survives: Rebel Rising

Aboard the "CSA Resolute" in unknown Space....

The Sith Empire had taken Commenor, blockaded the territories of the former Systems Alliance and starved their people before invading the Capital and devastating the Cities of free and innocent peoples all because the Systems Alliance had taken in refugees from the Galactic Alliance and refused to give them over to the Dark Lord of the Sith and his legion horde of Darksiders.

Ensuring the safekeeping of his children and the heirs to Commenor, [member="Loreena Arenais"] and her brother were now aboard the Command Ship under the administration of Veiere Arenais, the former King who had rebelled against [member="Darth Carnifex"] and refused to accept their defeat, escaping captivity narrowly avoiding his execution and being targeted then by Bounty Hunter [member="Koda Fett"].

One week had passed since the attack. The Queen of Commenor, [member="Lady Kay"] remained within the hands of the Sith Empire, her position over Commenor remained intact though surely not without her former master [member="Darth Prazutis"] keeping her on a tight leash. Between Prazutis and Veiere, they had a settle to score still, this would come only once they had managed to reach his wife and get her clear of danger.

To combat the Sith however, they needed to know who their friends were. The Systems Alliance had made a good deal of business partnerships though true friendships were hard to come by and during the siege, many of those whom they had thought to be loyal had in turn betrayed the royal family and the people of Commenor to the Sith Emperor.

Fear was a funny thing though. Sometimes it could be the difference between loss and victory while other times with the right motivation and a just cause, it could incite rebellion and the fight for peace and prosperity. The Sith were no strangers to rebellion of course, the battle for Gree had been the reason Veiere had been taken captive to begin with. He had supported the Rebels during a time of personal exile in a bid to atone for his mistakes and do bring some good from his actions...-He never expected however that he would be joining them with quite so much in common.

To be a Jedi in the spotlight of the Galaxy was to be a role-model. To be a Rebel, a freedom-fighter was something else entirely. That was the place that he had been forced into, the position that Darth Carnifex had influenced. Submission wasn't an option, death awaited him were he to accept the Sith's rulership over Commenor. Instead...-Veiere had some very different idea's about their peoples future and the future of his family. House Arenais would one day reside over Commenor again...-And the Sith would come to know the consequences for what they did to a peace-loving World of trade, whose only purpose back then was to offer sanctuary to those in need.

Veiere stood upon the observation deck to the Custom built Star-Destroyer, the resolute to be the symbol of rebellion and of the House Arenais unending resolve to see the Sith be brought to justice for the atrocities of Commenor. Their guilt went far beyond only Commenor, the Emperor's speech of evolution and power remained in mind, the words of a mad man emboldened with strength in the Force yet so far lost to it's corruption that hope was all but gone for him. Carnifex was truly insane, merciless and beyond the means of justice that society would deem lawful. Staring out into the darkness of space while he awaited those whom would call themselves a friend of his still, Veiere pictured the Emperor's face staring back at him. It was a face the Galaxy would one day rejoice being without.

  • Unknown Space - CSA Resolute

It took little time for Darlyn to reach the agreed upon meeting grounds, his little fighter signaling its allegiance from the moment it arrived. Such friendly IFF transmissions meant it took little time for his clearance, unlike [member="Kaine Australis"], and the dark sider was permitted passage onto the ship. There were security guards there, as it could easily have been a stolen ship, but once it was revealed to indeed be him, Darlyn was allowed to walk free, with directions to [member="Veiere Arenais"] on the observation deck. However, he took his time, fixing the way his robes hung on him to be absolutely presentable. No point in rebelling and looking like filth, they had an image to maintain.

When at last his footsteps reached the Observation Deck, he looked every part the sith lord he actually wasn't. Which was to say, presentable. "So I suppose this is the part where we wait for the others and agree to beat those Sith scum into submission? Shoden's got violin lessons to get to later after all." Of course she didn't. She had one hand. But the joke was all that kept the man restrained now, this dark humour. Ever since the seige, since Munto, Darlyn couldn't stop thinking of every bit of pain he'd give the Sith for what they did, even now it was hard not to lash out.

Thank the Force that there was enough light here to keep him in check.

The call for aide came through back channels from a woman I’ve never met. All I knew of Mand’alor the Infernal was what [member="Baiko no Kaho"], [member="Yasha Mantis"]’ step-mother told me, before the breath shuddered out of her lungs on my now-homeworld. These people had no reason to trust me, beyond the aura of comfort I avidly extend and the security sequences I collected from a brief, but telling conversation with the young and listless Mand’alor.

“I come on behalf of the Hell Wolf, and the bastion of Sabarene.” Odd in the command deck of the Brynjar, my baritone voice is one the denizens of my ships do not often hear. We are, after all, traditionalist Echani. Verbal communication still cloys awkwardly in my mouth. I go alone into the shuttle, requiring no pilot, nor aide.

Kaine Zambrano.

I cannot wash the hand, which shook his enough and I only met the man once, years ago. How could I have strained my eyes outward without seeing his shadow loom?

Baiko. One of my descendants. A lost one coming home, bringing her daughter [member="Achani Raxis"], her granddaughters [member="Beth Australis-Mantis"] & [member="Adara Raxis"] to a place of safety… in an instant that safety dissipated in the screams of a confused child, who could not handle so much Light….

… and a Dark Lord’s answer.

Why did Baiko’s blood run as cold as the dead from Commenor? What villainy had Zambrano use Yasha's daughters against her? Yasha’s face lingers in my mind’s eye. Dejected. A ruler with too many people to protect. I give her plausible deniability, a loose family connection, which barely exists. I have been away from the Galactic current far too long, and it’s time to rectify my years of inaction.

It was amazing the difference a nice hot shower and a full night's sleep could do for you when you weren't running from your lives from the gradual, unrelenting approach of a massive Sith armada. That feeling of safety and security wasn't something that could easily be replaced, it was easy to be brave enough to stand in front of an enemy, weapons drawn ready to face them even if they outnumbered you, if you stood no chance. But the opposite, that's harder to do, to hide away and hope that someone doesn't stumble onto you, to run and hide, you may be able to come back to fight another day but it had been amongst the most nerve-wracking experiences of the girl's life until that point. The time on the run had however given her a new appreciation of those who did this on a constant basis, those rebels out there who instead of standing in a battle line snuck in behind enemy lines to fight them there. That's why she found it so amusing that she'd ended up here, the flagship of House Arenais was far from a bunker, or any other kind of hidden facility, but there was little doubt that the Royal family intended to fight for their planet by whatever means necessary.

The girl reached out to run a hand through her still damp hair, idly toying with it, pulling it out before letting her hair settled back down her back as she glanced at the imposing figure facing the windows, quiet footsteps carrying her to one side so she could lean against a wall, smoothing out her top as she bit on the soft flesh of her lip. She knew that on the one hand the man was just her friend's father, but on the other hand he was a Jedi Master and one of the more storied characters from recent history. Well, they did say in for a penny, in for a pound right? Asaraa took a deep breath as she pushed away from the wall, gingerly making her way over to the window, nodding at the two men present before turning to stare out of the window. "I somehow think you'll find a lot of taker for a plan in that direction."

"Resolute this is Australis, clear me for docking if you would. I'm inbound".

[member="Kaine Australis"]' request came through over one of the Comm-Stations to which Veiere turned and acknowledged the officer with a wave of his hand and a curt nod in confirmation.

"You are approved for docking, Australis. Your designated landing is being sent through to you now. Please be advised, the carrying of fire-arms is explicitly denied to all guests until otherwise cleared by Commander, Veiere Arenais. You will be met with a Guard Escort upon your arrival. Thank you" Veiere stood and listened as the officer gave the Mandalorian instructions and the precautionary warning. As it stood at present, Veiere held no love for the Mandalorians who were suspected in the treason of his wife and his home-world down on Commenor. Thanks to his Son's relationship with the young [member="Beth Australis-Mantis"], coupled with the lack of presence and aid from the Mandalorian Empire whom supposedly held the Queen of Commenor in Familial regard, Veiere was...-To be frank, extremely pissed off that they had not offered even the slightest of heart towards Commenor's current occupation by the Sith Empire.

I come on behalf of the Hell Wolf, and the bastion of Sabarene”.

Veiere shared a somewhat bewildered glance with the communications officer before hearing the words of Asaraa speaking to he and [member="Darlyn Excron"]. Darlyn, the former Minister of Justice was too being sought after by the Sith Empire for his previous position in government. All former Ministers and members of Kay's staff before the Sith arrived were being hunted down like dogs and killed if they did not submit themselves to Imperial captivity. With the Sith Empire, that typically meant a fate close to that of Death regardless.

"Please repeat your identification. Your IFF Transponder Codes do not match those known to our records" the Comm's officer would question [member="Manu Xextos"]. The language and culture of the Mandalorians was entirely lost on Veiere, and given the rather vague introduction coupled with his recent frustrations, he wasn't adverse to having them blown out of the Resolute's orbit for the smallest suspicion of doubt. Still, fortunately his officers were far more formal and carried a certain dignity in their approach that he simply lacked given the week he was having.

Er6tw3E.png
Turning back to look to his peers, [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] and Darlyn whom at the head of the Command Deck stood within the observation platform overlooking the Bow of the Resolute, quite the impressive view and not unlike the Chimaera's was long ago when [member="Cedric Grayson"]'s father had passed it on to Veiere. It seemed his recent experience's would be starling similar to those old days as @Lay Kay's first capture held a likely meeting aboard the vessel of similar design.

As for the Silver Jedi Girl, [member="Caedyn Arenais"] had spoken of her in short during their brief discussion. His Son preferred to keep his distance having expressed a great deal of resentment for Veiere during the initial hours of their leave...or rather, escape of Commenor. "That remains to be seen, my girl" Veiere replied somewhat pessimistically; "Caedyn's somewhere down below I believe. The private Hangar for House Arenais, no doubt...-That is, if all of this nonsense doesn't bore you young one's" he gave something of an eye-roll Darlyn's way assuming his friend and the children's uncle would try to take credit for his supposed youth. "While in the company of my Son, you have full run of the Resolute" he added, ensuring Asaraa understood she wasn't being scrutinized despite Veiere's somewhat stoic demeanor. Too much of late had gone awry and his days of exile had not done well for his hospitality.

Caedyn sat upon the floor of the UT-60D U-Wing's passenger deck, wedged in between two wall mounted seats, staring at the wall opposite him. Time seemed to pass him by, not knowing how long he'd been down there but rather just amiss with the days that he had spent living before the present. The Galaxy seemed to have changed so damn fast. [member="Asha Hex"] had disappeared and so he had sought the Silver Jedi for comfort and help in his training following his failure to find and rescue her from whatever horror he had imagined her in; Only later to be summoned to Aurum out of the blue by she herself whom had expressed a need to leave her affairs in her hands and try to forget the past. Of course, it hadn't been easy but out of love for his Master, he had managed to move forward; this love wasn't at all romantic of course, Asha was like family to him where his romance in life was another story entirely...

[member="Beth Australis-Mantis"] and [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] were at present the only two girls he was close to outside of his Sister, [member="Loreena Arenais"]. Beth was a Mandalorian and the daughter of the Mandalore herself. Now, where the Mandalorian's currently stood with Commenor was anyone's guess, but Caedyn had shared word with his father, as much as he disliked the man right now, that [member="Yasha Mantis"] was on speaking terms with the Emperor of the Sith and had met with him several times, or so it sounded. He didn't have the fully story, he was young and brash, yet it sounded bad enough...-And given that his Dad was at present seemingly mounting a war effort for their Home-World, it paid to know who was friend and who was foe, right?

As for Asaraa, well she was his friend and ally within the Silver Jedi. They'd first met in Chasin City and so too had they escaped it together. Miraculous as that was, they had both come to rendezvous with Veiere who seemed to have found a friend in [member="Baron Morcus"] and his Fallen Empire or Empire in Exile or whatever they called themselves. Who-ever they were didn't really bother Caedyn s'long as they were happy to take the fight to the Sith and kick some serious ass for the horror and death that had been wrought down upon his families world.

[member="Veiere Arenais"] [member="Kaine Australis"] [member="Darben Skirae"]

How much shame, had she felt in the week that had felt just like yesterday, the ever eating guilt that she had abandon the order she was to lead? The men she swore to stand by only to be left back on commenor when she ran...she knew it was a good idea to run she had saved her family from certain death at the hands of the Sith, yet even then her sworn duty she failed....she failed to defend the queen someone she considered a sister and failed commenor.

Yet with that shame was a burning anger, like a wild fire that consumed her being and threaten to blind her with rage, she was a understanding belief when it came to the force...that everyone had their beliefs but what she saw on commenor? Those 8 million lives taken...that wasn't because of beliefs it was slaughter and greed.

So once her friend, [member="Veiere Arenais"] , sent a message out to her to meet she was quick to respond bringing her husband along with her. She flicked a few controls as their little transport flashed into space and started for that massive ship, she looked to darben then started transmitting her landing codes and got on the comms

this is master stardust skirae.....preparing to land

Short and simple...she wondered if she could even look her friend in the eyes?

It was a miracle that Lori got off of Commenor. And that miracle came by the way of a cloaked ship that whisked her away out of the Twin Canyons. It was almost comical how she had stumbled upon it, quite literally. If she hadn't of had her head turned, she'd of probably broken her nose when she walked into it. But there it was. Her ticket out. And with the Sith monitoring her communications, as far as they were aware, she was hiding out in the old mine shafts.

Oh it was perfect.

Okay, maybe not so perfect.

[member="Veiere Arenais"] and [member="Caedyn Arenais"] were now together with her on board this new ship that her Dad had constructed for them. Yet, her Mom was still with the Sith. Of course her Dad assured her that her Mom was strong and would be okay given her position, but with the destruction of Munto and the strict order that Commenor was being subjected to, Lori wasn't so sure.

She sat there in the private hanger, tinkering with some of the tool boxes and trying to put them in order. If her jet pack was there, then she would've worked on it. But it wasn't. Maybe she could create her own armour or something. They were going to war, right?

Lori also thought about her Force training. Her Dad was her Master now, yet these events changed things slightly. He had to focus on helping to free their home and her Mom.

She overheard that [member="Kaine Australis"] was coming through some chatter amongst the crew. Some had good words to say about the Mandalorians, while some didn't. Regardless, Lori liked the old man. So after some questions, she figured out where Kaine would be docking his ship and she hurried off to meet with him. He was like an uncle to her, one if her Mandalorian guardians, and she wanted to see where he stood amongst all this mess.

They don’t want us to dock. It isn’t remiss for them to be careful, they had yet to hear of Sabarene’s link to Sith-killing or of me. I nod at my comms officer, who re-sends the IFF codes, heralding from the Independent Alliance of Crowns Capital of Sabarene… and one IFF signal code bundle hailing permissions from Mand’alor the Infernal.

“Mantis sent me. If you want to defeat the Sith and free your people, you’re going to want my and my fleet’s help. I've done it before, with the Army of Light, and before that. And before that. One of my officers was already helping you, [member="Livia Maddox"]. Sadly, she didn't have time to do much.” A shift of my shoulder is all my comm officer needed to send logs and visuals of my fleet in the Army of Light. This was not the first Sith Empire I’ve walked in to taking down.

“Zambrano came to my planet, killed my descendants, including your sister-in-law Baiko Raxis, and took the Mand’alor’s daughter to Commenor as ransom for your battle. You want to end his rule on your planet. Let an old Jedi Master aboard and I’ll explain.”

A single flight of X-wings and one U-Wing reverted to realspace near the Resolute, transponder codes identifying the starfighters as friendly. They were from Phoenix Command of the Rebel Alliance.

"Azure 01 to Resolute, requesting permission to dock."

Well, one arm of the RA. There were just so many resistance organizations out there with the same name that one would be forgiven for confusing the various associations.

As one great resistance front against the Sith had just been smashed in the Outer Rim, a new one was brewing closer to home. The CSA was shattered, and Commenor itself was besieged by the Sith Empire. The Rebel Alliance and its friends had come to offer their assistance in finally breaking their grip over the now wartorn world.

That was the official story, anyway, the Shadow coming with her own agenda. This was a good opportunity to network and gain allies for other campaigns across the galaxy. For her, this fight was much more than about Commenor.

He was a businessman. A salesman. It wasn't often that those whose livelihoods were staked on business took sides in conflict, and if anything, it was expected of them to supply both sides to maximize profits. But Errreembuhr had taken a side. After Alderaan, Kuat, Coruscant, and now Commenor. If there was a side to take, it was against the Sith, and so he came to the rally point at the behest of acquaintances of various rebel groups.

Uninvited by those hosting, he made sure to send a message ahead to [member="Veiere Arenais"] just as they exited hyperspace, spotting the gathering ships nearby. In a simple EFR-4100 he wondered if he should have brought a larger ship. The Wookiee wasn't a Jedi like his nephew, or an expert pilot, or even a good soldier. But he could offer support if it was needed.

"This is Errreembuhr, commander of the Shadowclaw, we're entering your space," he said over the communications unit. "If you'll accept me I'd like to come aboard. Transmitting our codes now."

[SIZE=10pt]Coming in by fighter felt like home, Adele was being good this time around and didn’t fiddle too much with the fighter’s internal systems. Her fighter followed in formation behind [member="Simona Campos"] – Azure 01. A hand reached up and traced the lining of her flight suit, the patch of the Rebel Alliance worn into the suit and she sighed softly. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]The happenings on Commenor seemed to be something that was plaguing the galaxy. The Sith burning through their enemies. The blockade should have been the first warning, but with the planet and the CSA being neutral and away from everything – it was possible they thought negotiations could fix it. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Over the comms, Adele heard that they were requesting to land. She began to prepare to land along with the rest of the small group. They had work to do.[/SIZE]

Walking through the halls of the Resolute, Aten found himself stunned by the sheer size of the vessel, not only that but the sleek design. The halls that smelled of disinfectant and the large crew that ran about their tasks. Aten’s feet were bare, still wearing the thin pants offered by the infirmary upon the Star Destroyer. Wrapped across the entirety of Aten’s torso were bandages binding his recent wounds incurred during the Siege of Commenor. Still, there were small flecks of blood that appeared on the Jedi’s right-side bleeding through the bandages. The cybernetic arm that once adorned it missing as the medical crew had been forced to remove its remnants and the supports built into Aten’s side and part of his back.

Despite the medical crews’ suggestions and insistence of bedrest or even taking a soak in bacta Aten continued on, pushing through the hall, what should’ve been debilitating pain phased into the background of his mind by the saber on his hip which honed his focus to where not even pain could stop the Jedi Knight once he set his mind to a task. The steel floor was cold beneath the Jedi’s feet as he came to a stop outside the door to the command deck. Aten had failed Veiere on Commenor, he’d been tasked by the CSA to accompany Mythos and protect the shields, instead, Mythos had betrayed the CSA. The traitor had managed to lower the shields assuring the Sith victory. All Aten had been able to do was battle the Sith giving his best in the engagement. Suffice to say he’d left the Sith Lord in a far worse condition, having shattered the Sith’s jaw and even fracturing his skull.

Raising and waving his hand, Aten willed the doors open. With a hiss the twin doors slid apart welcoming the Jedi knight onto the Command Deck where his eyes were solely focused on Veiere. In a way, part of his capture had been Aten’s fault. If he hadn’t intruded upon Veiere’s exile perhaps the one-time Grandmaster wouldn’t have joined in the defense of Gree, maybe he would’ve never been captured by the Sith. Giving a respectful nod to both Darlyn Excron and Asaraa, Aten continued past to stand before Veiere offering a slight bow to the Master. The one he’d once sought out in hopes of being trained.

“I apologize for your loss, and my failure to stop Mythos. I should’ve ended him where he stood. If I had perhaps…” Letting the words trail off Aten thought it best not to continue. There was nothing else he could offer but his continued aid in whatever was to come.

Lori held in her grin as [member="Kaine Australis"] spotted her upon his arrival. She stood there with her hands on her hips, almost as though she was expecting something. And then there it was. A traditional Mandalorian greeting given among friends. That was enough for her to know that he was on their side.

"Su'cuy gar." She stood there for a moment longer and then her smile appeared before she ran up to him and wrapped her arms tightly around his waist. "It's so good to see you! I missed you and--" It was then that she noticed something was different about him. She couldn't feel the Force flowing through him at all. Was he wearing something to block it? "Are you okay?
I have lots to tell you. And I'm sure my Dad will want to see you."

No doubt [member="Veiere Arenais"] , the rest of her family and what had happened to Commenor were the reason for his visit. It all left her quite conflicted with who was trustworthy and who wasn't. But then again, they probably all felt that way.

"Seeing politics in action and the start of a whole new rebellion against the Sith? Who wouldn't want to be here right now to see this?" The padawan tilted her head to the side, tossing Veiere a bright smile before turning her attention to the window, watching the bright flash of ships exiting hyperspace, the burning trails of their engines as they closed with the Resolute. it wasn't just one ship but a fleet of them from all corners of the galaxy, from all planets and alliances answering the call of the deposed king. And it wasn't just in the physical, there was a tremor in the force, a potential surrounding the moment, not quite marking it as a momentous occasion but one that could easily trend that way.

With a small shake of her head, the girl dragged her thoughts away from the sensation of the force, away from that feeling that pervaded the shim as she bobbed her head towards the window. "It looks like the party's starting, that's...a lot more ships than I thought would show up so fast. Looks like a lot more people than you want to see the Sith go down for what they've done." The girl's voice trailed off as the memory of the wave of misery washing over her in the city, the feeling of the pain and terror overwhelming her in a moment. Her hands clenched at her side as she dug her nails into the palm of her hand, using the feeling to pull her focus back to the moment, listening to the speeches of the various approaching ships before she offered the man a small smile. "I think I'll go an check on Caedyn, let him know that everyone's arriving, he...we'll want everyone here for this."

Multiple flashes of light and hyperspace residue took to the sector around the CSA Resolute as those whom had heard the call for assistance had come to answer. The Crew upon the deck of the Command Vessel quickly responding to every hail in their formal haste, those whom requested admission to the many Hangars of the Resolute were granted so while word of [member="Manu Xextos"] claims would be relayed fourth to Veiere Arenais.

Overseeing operations upon the bridge, Vikras Ansion stood with his left hand holding a cane walking stick supporting a portion of his weight upon it. Vikras had been with Veiere for a great deal of time now and formerly had been titled the Grand Admiral of the Commenori Naval Forces. During the battle of Gree, his vessel had been detained by the Sith Empire without having posing any hostile risk. They'd been removed of their ship and subsequently tortured then imprisoned for crimes they had yet to commit. The Sith were indeed good at making enemies of those whom wanted only peace. Following the Siege of Commenor, [member="Lady Kay"] had managed to ascertain his whereabouts and release through negotiation with Commenor's new overlords; in her position her hands were tied though through the Admiral, Veiere would maintain contact with her across secure channels known only to him for the sake of her well-being overall.

"Permission granted. Relaying your designated LZ to you now" each of their new guests would receive the same transmission, "An escort will guide you to the Command Center where Veiere Arenais awaits. Please be aware that the carrying of fire-arms is prohibited until authorization has been granted by the Commander. Thank you".

"It is unfortunate but such is the way of things" Veiere replied to the young Asaraa Vaashe, though he did not elaborate upon his expression of irony for the response that came from the call to war as opposed to the complacency that had been returned to Commenor during times of peace. War crimes and mass cruelty that were known to the Empire were capable motivators for the actions of good men and women that sought to fight for peace, yet in times of peace for Commenor, they had been elsewhere taking that very same fight to other worlds. The Conflict never ceased in the Galaxy. Veiere had seen much of it to know that the Sith had forced about a change for his family, one that would no doubt see conquences brought down upon both sides of this war for generations to come; just as the Jedi and the Sith had fought for generations before him.

[member="Aten Ramses"] made his way to him, Veiere turning and incline his head in a half bow of greeting and gratitude for the Jedi's being there. "If you had, perhaps you would not be the same Man my old Padawan trained you to be Aten. I do not want you to see your hands bloodied, as mine are. Honor your Jedi Path and your Master's teachings...-Once you lose sight of that..." his words faded for a moment, his head dipping briefly to give acknowledgement to the past for there were many things he had done, a great deal of weight and remorse upon his shoulders that he would forever carry on; "Well...-Learn by example, my young friend. You are here now" he concluded with a slim smile.

"Let us move to meet our guests within the Command Center a floor above" He soon suggested to the small group, Asaraa Vaashe there to hear him before moving off in search of his Son, they had some time yet. [member="Darlyn Excron"] was eager to fight, the darkness within the Minister of Justice of Commenor had often been a wary contradiction of his professional role, one that back when Veiere was King, he always kept an eye on. Darlyn was a good man, the uncle and perhaps even considered God-Father to the Children of House Arenais for all the loyalty and friendship he had given Veiere and his wife, Kay Arenais. That wasn't to say there weren't some question around the man's inherent Darksided influence, though they weren't a government power nor a political role model any longer. They were freedom-fighters and Rebels...-And a Rebellion required all types, so long as they were willing.

Darben Skirae stood behind [member="Stardust Australis Skirae"] in the small transport, looking over her shoulder. Many ships were coming here and there. "It seems there's many allies after all..." He had wondered how many would come to the aid of Commenor in this time of need. And apparently, it was many allies coming to give help. He was glad that Stardust had trained him some more in combat, he had been training in his spare time as well. Darben stepped back and got himself ready to disembark. And perhaps meet many new faces in the meeting of minds and allies to Commenor.

WD-334 had heard of the attack upon the planet of Commenor. They were seen as allies, but WD remained tactical over this. The Sith, a powerful enemy. If the Metal Lords aided, they would be against them with a much smaller force. So when the call for aid and a meeting went out, WD decided to ask [member="Ultimatum"] and [member="AD-8"] to come along, and see if they could give such aid. The droid arrived aboard it's Tartan-class Obsidian. "This unit requests permission to come aboard and discuss. The Metal Lords are willing to give terms of aid to our allies of Commenor." The droid kept it's shield and weapons on board the Tartan, and awaited a response.

The broadcast went out, and parties shook hands...

"Azure 01 to Resolute, requesting permission to dock."

Knight Marakos reached out, adjusting a dial on the starboard section of the X-Wing's cockpit. There was no turning back now. The powerful starfighter's engines flared and sunk low as the pilot took up the rearmost ship in Azure Wing's formation. The approach to the Resolute seemed leisurely compared to Hyperspace, and the female Jedi took a moment to center herself - reaching deep within, and in-doing so, finding her spirit open to the Universe.

Around her, empty space stretched on for distances she wouldn't bother calculating; they were far, far from Civilization. Drystan reached out, expanding a sphere of awareness to encompass first, her own ship (flying perfectly in formation with three other X-Wings), then her Squadmates, then, empty space...

She directed her attention to the powerful Star-Destroyer ahead of her, remarking in her mind, "Rarely have I flown toward one of those in peace..." Master Arenais's powerful star-cruiser was a force to be reckoned with, and she felt safer in range of its' Turbolaser Batteries than one might think. She knew the Jedi Master by reputation, though it was highly unlikely he'd ever seen, or heard of her. She had made her way in the Galaxy, and became a Jedi Knight, based on her ability to remain unseen, and unremembered. She drew herself back to center, consciousness returning to the tiny cockpit she inhabited as she listened to a few snatches of conversation from her squad-mates.

The woman gave a small smile beneath her flight helmet, feeling her heartbeat increase as the adrenaline of the moment touched her... So much death had befallen Commenor and its' people, and as many had before her, she was taking a stand against seemingly-unsurmountable odds... No Obstacle so overwhelming compared to the Presence of the Force.

She had chosen to join her comrades on the journey to meet the Patriarch of House Arenais & assist in any way she could - the Sentinel & Silver Shadow was as capable a communicator & strategist as she was a combatant, and many other things besides.

Her mission was simple: Make Contact. She would then move on from there.

<<We'll be dropping out of hyperspace in ten minutes, sir>>

A lone Siel Manta warship emerged from the blue maelstrom of hyperspace, sharing the geosynchronous orbit with them was a victory II class star destroyer which dwarfed the Siel Manta ship by a large margin, the crest of Commenor freshly painted on its sides. Their destination was situated aboard the ship to meet with Simona and the surviving Commenori, and hopefully see eye to eye on the common goal that was fighting the empire. Many in the command structure argued fervently against aiding the Commenori remnants, with most of the Siel Manta leadership condemning the Commenori as being nothing more than weak gullible fools who had let the wolf that was the Sith empire into their enclosure. Narses had however stoically shut down any voices of dissent and sent a lone warship along with one of his trusted captains to act as a representative for the Mirialan rebels.

<<Captain Shahori i trust you will handle matters correctly, given your prior experiences when dealing with outsiders.>> The holo transmitter in the bridge was large enough to make the image appear natural in size. It was the hologram of Colonel Narses dressed all in attire typical of a Mirialan commander, with various medals adorning his breast.

<<I will do sir, given prior talks i do believe this meeting will go down smoothly.>>

Narses cold expression in response suggested that failure was never an option, and Shahori stiffened with indignant pride.

<<What about the agents?>>

Narses eyebrow went up again, coldly appraising, but he did not answer Shahori in favor of turning to look at the Commenori star destroyer. The hologram image crackled a little.

<<Campos is no real threat to the integrity of the organisation, she is however an asset which must be used and as such she is valuable to us in many ways.>>
