Will there be an organization or portion of the military designated for non-Jedi/Sith force users? I, for example, was trained informally about.. ten thousand years ago... at the edge of the galactic disc, far from the Sith, Jedi, Republic, etc - basically I was on a planet with almost zero outside contact. Trying to get along with Jedi and follow their code might prove a little difficult.

Part of it will be like that. Breaking the fourth wall to get that answer. If you look at Coren, he doesn't exactly get along with Jedi, or Sith, but he uses his Force powers to amp up his skills. While we'll probably have a very loose Jedi Order (on par with the way the Levantines were very loose), I'll be bringing in a team/training aspect that is very similar to the way biotics are used in the Mass Effect universe, or using the OP as a model

Back during its glory days it attracted Forcers from various fringe groups. Obviously not comparable to the Jedi or Sith in numbers, but it was an interesting mix. If we're using ME analogies, I guess that's the N7 equivalent.

Thats a big idea on what I want to do here. While we are going to be replicating the GA of lore, and bringing in a taste of the Jedi, I want to mimic that big of the OP as 'officially, yes there is a Jedi Order but unofficially, we love the people that are not-evil-dark, who are willing to fight evil-dark.'
The way biotics are played in Mass Effect has always been a favorite aspect of mine and I'll be looking to bring in that open-ness to the fringe Force groups, etc, that can work with the Jedi and against the evil-dark.

Until then, just play, write your stories how you want, the GA is Lawful-to-Neutral Good, so as long as your not committing genocide for us, its all kosher.

I'm gonna make this open to all to see. I'm curious why the ga admins are contempt on bullying smaller fractions. Is there a reason or do you just wana stoop down to such small level for easy wins?
You have the Techno union and others to target yet you are contempt on attacking those who can't defend against you. I don't see how this is fair all in the name of "good story" I'm sorry but that's very one sided.
This question is for the members of the GA that is about the upcoming plans that your admins are trying to set in place. Would you rather have a fair fight or one where it's so unfair for people in the site it makes them just want to leave the site all together? Do you want to see a fraction go to low levels so it can fill the admins big heads?
Several hours before I got msged about the GA admins plans. The CotBR offered an alliance of sorts to help go after the os, Techno union and prime. That message got completely ignored without so much a talk about it.

CotBR member count: 62 (a few of these are inactive and we only have enough to keep major above our heads while we are trying to recruit.)

Please tell me why a fraction of 234 isn't going after the more clear fraction choice of 229
