Kian felt the attack coming seconds before the wall exploded, but it gave him time to bring up a rudimentary force barrier to protect him from the initial blast. It wasn't fancy, but it did the job. He watched with alarm as his padawan was thrown through the area, but was relieved to see her coming up and seemingly unharmed. Kian's lightsaber sprang to life, the yellow blade casting a golden hue over his skin.

Kian didn't attack, not immediately instead moved into position to cover the retreat of the medical personnel from the room. He and the others would have to safeguard them while they moved the injured out of harms way. Stretching out in the force, Kian touched his apprentices mind.

Ellain, we must focus on protecting the civilians. We will hold this vantage point. He projected into her mind. Then raised his hand and sent the debris and shrapnel from the explosion flying toward the opening where the Sith were swarming in.

OBJECTIVE: To Engage a Fish...wait, now a Dino?

And just as Veles disappeared, or believed he would...a nine-banger would drop right infront of his last known position and detonate. Multiple explosions on the level of solar flare would detonate in rapid succession, nine times to be exact. Hopefully, the Mon-Calamari with excessively huge eyes would have some sort of eyewear protection, and hearing protection...otherwise he'd be a bit disoriented.

And for that, she would wait, on the other end of the Long-Range Anti-Materiel rifle. Her finger pressed lightly on the trigger. "Show your face squid-boy..." The sound of [member="Mantorok"] drew her attention as she turned, rolled back, tucked the rifle away. She was lightning fast, her abilities within the Force aiding her as well as years of combat experience. She brought the M.A.W.S up and switched it over to shotgun with a flick of a switch and the first five rounds fired off in a rapid succession aimed directly at his chest. Yes, she was that fast ladies and gentlemen.

Mierin moved through the top floor of the Medical Facility with quick and lithe grace. She surged through the rooms quickly, killing doctors with a swipe of her lightsaber, cutting through fleeing men and women without a care in the world. It was no issue for her really, she moved quickly, trying to find someone within the facility until finally, she stumbled upon something.

A smirk crossed her face as she rushed down another staircase, she found someone within the force. A pool of the force moving about the hospital. A wave of her palm pushed open the doors. The massive double durasteel doors slammed open to reveal [member="Boolon Murr"] on the other side.

She grinned, Ithorian.

Mierin didn't wait to taunt the Alien. She didn't wait for him to speak or for words to be bandied about. Instead she lashed out. With one quick off handed swipe Mierin threw a wave of the force at the Ithorian, hoping to throw him against the far wall.

Location: Moving on Medical Center to see what she can do.

Her and the droids with her moved forward and struck in [member="Darth Praelior"]'s wake, the droids clambering over the ground and firing at all in their path that was an armed soldier, leaving any wounded or innocent unharmed. Alexandra herself was watching from the roof of a building as she looked at the Ithorian whom she now saw and dropped to the ground next to him with her voice sounding as she spoke. "I owe you my life, now i offer you the chance to save yours, leave or join me Ithorian, i do not want to see you harmed or worse killed." She said what she said, every word, every sound true as she activated a blade and swallowed, her aura was noticeably broken beyond repair as half of her was like a beacon of pure lightside, and then the other half of her being nothing more than a void, as if half of her was missing. "Please."

The Black Lancers had already drawn their power lances and buried it into the outer city republic forces. The anti-infantry rained down around them but in their speeder bikes on minimal damage could be brought as their movements swiftly broke into smaller groups for manoeuvrability. Just then the worlds of her dark sister [member="Darth Isolda"] and ringed out through the force and sent her an image of an icon and the words of the forces inside retreating. Hauntruss' lips curled into a violent frown. The Fools in their retreat will surely destroy what is valuable before we reach them. She hissed to herself. Concentrating on Isolda's force signature she sent her a reply. My dark sister. Find the location of the Alderaanian University, search through the ether of the force and find those hiding within it. I shall follow your guidance and crush them. Time is of the essence! Haunrtuss turned to bark at Commander [member="Sylvanan Glass"], "Split up!" she hissed at him as the burst across the now dense outer urban landscape of the capital outer reaches. "Take your companies and move into flanking position. Round up and wipe out the forces around my perimeter they must not impeded my path! Then on my call move in to my location!" She waved her hand to end her message and commanded her own company to follow her. They race past building and building. Quietly however, the dark-side was swelling around her, the dark magic that she possessed began to warp the force around her. Under her breathe Hauntruss was whispering a dark Sith Curse. She would cloud the battlefield with the darkside and obscure the jedi's ability to see clearly in the force. She would not have anything get in her way.

Back at the over-sized carrier, the dark creature the size of a tower curled in a ball began to slither about in its cage. The dark serpent worm created from a sarlaac pit with the assistance of Darth Velok long ago, Aragron was beginning to wake by her master's presence. Hauntruss could feel his appetite grow. The worm creature was her greatest weapon and it would come in handy soon. The Black Lancers where gaining on their target the University, no doubt there would a contingent ready to hit them when they arrived. Meanwhile Huantruss barked into the comm-link in her wrist to Sith Gunships flying about in aerial attacks. "This is Darth Hauntruss, I am of need of your assistance Captain Nardok!" Nardok replied in cool proffessionalism, "Ready and standing my lady." "Find the power generator for the inner capital, focus all your ships on that point blast it away, I want the grid for the inner section at coordinates B4X11Y [library/university] bathed in darkness!" Nardok replied with a hearty, "YES MADAM!" The gunships moved to make their attack run, soon the here target would have no method of fleeing or destroying her precious cargo.

Ellain was brought back to reality as she heard [member="Kian Karr"] in her mind, nodding and looking towards a downed soldier, checking him before sighing. He was dead but she head to work fast, taking his weapon and other equipment like grenades she stood up and said a silent prayer for the man's soul before turning and looking at Kian. "Sorry master, i lost myself for a moment there before i realized the more important matter." Without waiting for a reply she raised the rifle and shot at the sith that would be coming through the defenses and now droids as one nearly hit her in the shoulder. "Are more coming for the wounded master?"

Saki could feel them there and see it, a black tide and she knew this feeling. She had felt it on Togoria when she was a padawan after the people had been slaughtered. She was moving after the ones who had rushed ahead and didn't stay with the tide. Choking down what she knew was coming and clenching her fists in close and focusing on the force. She lifted the hammer and charged at a speeder as it fired and jumped bringing the hammer back. "AHHHHH" The smash as she came down on the front of it and the whrump whrump of the speeder as time seemed to slow down and the man flew forward, the seat going up over her head and the hammer impacting with the ground while it exploded in mid air.

Saki held the hammer and her armor gleamed while the tight pony tail came loose blowing in the wind, her eyes focused on the other speeders and with the force singing and pulsing through her muscles she charged and side swiped the speeder striking he mans leg as the metal beneath it bashed inward and he went to the side smashing into a wall. She knew who was coming now more then ever could feel her ancient darkness and Val'ryss was ancient, evil, twisted... It fueled Saki knowing she was for now alone and surrounded by sith as she held the hammer and the force practically jumped off her in static bursts. She was moving now and smashing another speeder and sending it flying.

"And its going.... going.... gone." She commented looking at one of the Republic troopers and shrugging while she held the hammer. "How many more are close by?" He looked at her and was checking. "None for now Master jedi, we got the stragglers and are moving to shore up defenses." She gave a nod and got on one of the speeders putting the hammer on her back and going back to the stairs. She set the hammer down and opened one of the pockets getting a geltab while sliding it under her tongue and sitting down. Her face covered in soot and grime from the explosions. She poured a little water down her throat and on her face wiping it away before standing up ready for another round.

The increase in server load pressed it up to about 15% by now and the men were double-timing, thus allowing the physical percentage to be up to about 12%.

Alyesa remained focused as she stared at the percentage bars. It wasn't moving fast enough. She grimaced as she stood defiantly there next to her closest advisers. "Evacuate the control room, all non-essential personnel to their shuttles." She motioned.

Two hundred forty pounds of Ithorian slammed into the wall and slid to one knee. Shaking his head, Boolon rose, and a sky-blue blade snapped to life in his hand. Before him stretched out a corridor of dead doctors, the Pureblood's path of rampage. Cinthra stood to his right, Mierin stood before him.

This was his element: A hospital, with lives at stake. A quick gesture of one long-fingered hand, and a cooler opened to his left -- opened with a spray of hypodermics that contained mostly anesthetics of greater or lesser degree, or at least compounds that had anesthetic effects on humanoids. The needles flicked across the room at the Pureblood in the doorway.

He knew Cinthra's mind, knew the pressure points incident to her broken nature; he'd been inside, and now he pressed that advantage, seeking to put her to sleep. I would rather die than be the sort of soul that leaves thundered in her head as he drew a heavy breath, still facing Mierin.

Top Floor, Medical Facility.

Alexandra shook her head as he intruded and her eyes shut tight as his voice sounded, her mind sliding off as he pressed on the place he needed to. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD." She pushed against his intrusion while also calling for help from her friend, the one that would hopefully be watching over her like she needed him too. If not a Single Emerald Ashlan wolf would erupt from Alexandra's robes and bite at the Ithorian, attempting to help his bond mate in the fact that [member="Darth Tsolan"] might not show quickly enough.

She had tried to be merciful now she knew she would have to fight the man that had once saved her, the man that was using the weakness he had found to leave her defenseless and crippled on the ground.

Eleena skidded to a halt as she found herself in a corridor packed with patients on the move. The cool cylinder rested in her hands and she felt the desire to slay them all without any remorse rise up.

Snap-hiss

There was a chance that everything she did today would be recorded, that someone somewhere would find security feed of a blue skinned twi'lek cutting down innocents. She couldn't let that happen. The panic in the room had already increased tenfold, with screams rising at the site of the saber. Closing her eyes she sent a telekintic blast over the tops of their heads, shattering cabinets and showering them with glass.

"LEAVE. NOW!"

She turned away from the innocent. Saber deactivating as she did. There was something she could do without directly killing people. She headed for the turbo lifts, she needed to be several floors down.

Universal Medical Facility - Top Floor

She bit her tongue. The dozens of hypodermic needles that flew through her caused a sort of anxiety that she could not explain, apparently Mierin didn't like needles.

Before they could reach her the Sith Pureblood lashed out with the force once more, another wave pressed through the tight narrow hallway and the needles began to go flying. Several dashed and flew about the hall, smashing against the walls and shattering into thousands of tiny glass pieces. A few managed to pierce through the blast of the force and struck Mierin directly in the chest, sticking into the Vonduun Skerr Kyrric but not penetrating it.

The Organic armor clicked slightly, but seemed to remain unharmed.

Mierin let out a long breath, then pulled the needles from her chest. She dashed forward, avoiding the shards of glass and mystery liquid even though she wore boots. The Hydra Staff heads on her shoulder seemed to raise themselves, hissing slightly. Three of the heads poked out above her right shoulder, and three over her left, the unique weapon still stuck onto Mierins spine.

They spat at Boolon, all five heads spewing acid towards his face but aiming carefully away from the wolf.

OBJECTIVE: Mild structural roof damage

Rung rung rung rung.

His companion in chaos grew impatient and instead chose to leap past him, that's all well and good but in ten years time when your knees start to go due to the shock absorbed don't come crying to me, no siree!

The (not so) rebellous Chistori ommited the last few rungs of the ladder, jumping off to find [member="Darth Acarus"] already cutting a new sun roof into the facility. Well, at least that would commit any more slow plodding ladder climbing. His beastly fists clenched and unclenched as he stood waiting for the Sith to cut through the duracreet.

“MAKE IT BIG ENOUGH FOR ME.”

The blast of the shotgun (originally typo'd as shotfun) blasted hard against the chest of the massive beast, actively breaching through the organic plate in a few areas and into the tough scales beneath. It smarted something fierce and caused Mantorok to immediately start barrelling towards the woman with a loud roar.

"GRAAAAAAGHHHHHH!"

Both uncouth and savage he ran at the woman, aiming to spear her onto the ground. Dinosaurs don't need to fight with class and grace, y'know.

That wolfish smile would continue to dance upon Isolda's lips. Yessssss..... Perfect.

Everything was perfect. Fitting into Her Glorious plan. She would sink deeper into her farsight meditation. Watching, observing as the images would continue to flood her mind.

It was then that a single furious image of a woman with a half shaved head would bloom within Isolda's mind. A fight would ensue. A Jedi aiming to get at her sister.

Beware, a Jedi full of anger and mighty of fist comes towards you. She would relay to [member="Darth Hauntruss"].

Another would come to her mind. A woman. Dusky of skin. Olive. Hair a deep chestnut brown. She was at the root of something going on with the archives.

Ahhhh but where... She would continue to seek, guiding and directing those going to the archives what their goal was. Put a stop to the physical removal of items.

It would take a bit more focus to flesh out a percentage --- a number. In her mind. Fifteen percent.

What did this mean? She could only contemplate, but this was important. Something that had to do with the woman.

 

[Caulder Dune]

LOCATION: NEAR THE UNIVERSITY
OBJECTIVE: DISABLE AA EMPLACEMENTS, MAKE WAY TO UNIVERSITY

Darth Janus had masked and armored himself, as was the most prudent thing to do when engaging in wanton violence. Somehow the Republic had the incredible foresight to fortify University of Alderaan. It was rather peculiar they had chosen to do so. It was not a conventional military target. Indeed, the protocols of sane governments did not involve dispatching troops to the local college in the event of an invasion. This was because universities were typically not high-profile military targets. A flagrant waste of resources, to be frank. Hundreds of civilians would now perish because the Royal Guard were valorously evacuating books on tax law when instead they could be engaged in the banal acts of defending the citizenry.

Someone, somewhere had to get their priorities straight.

Inversely, Darth Janus had his priorities right where he wanted them. Because the Republic had opted to set up AA turrets around a non-strategic location (thus denying resources to actually strategically viable areas), it would fall on Janus to disable them. Tyrin now led a platoon of soldiers through the streets to do just this. Or rather, they took point and he snuck around through the alleyways in order to flank. They kept the soldiers occupying one of the AA positions distracted with concentrated fire. It was enough of a diversion that they were caught completely unawares when a Sith Lord seemingly blinked into existence behind them.

Janus never struck too deeply or stabbed, as it messed up his ability to move swiftly. His lightsaber snapped to life, scarring a line across the back of one soldier before he swiftly decapitated the second. The first one dropped, wounded and paralyzed from pain, at around the same time the second one did. To the third man's credit, he had managed a half turn before a lightsaber stroke took his left forearm off. The fourth managed to turn around in time to fire a single shot at Tyrin, which the Umbaran deftly deflected into the face of the fifth. Panicked, the soldier fired again, only to meet a similar fate.

The defenders dead, the Stormtroopers under his command advanced, destroying the AA gun behind them with a timed explosive before moving further ahead. One down, several more to go.

The battle began to pick up in intensity. Darth Junra and her allies now had to deal with a barrage of anti-infantry fire from the capital. Yet as the Sith had charged toward the guards of the palace and Jedi began to emerge to confront the Sith, such fire had to slow down or friendly fire would ensue.

The ground quaked as the bridge to the palace began to collapse due to explosives. Standing at the steps before the palace’s entrance, Darth Junra remained within reach. Even after the explosion, Sith troops still made their way to the palace via dropships and gunships that buzzed all over the palace. One ship was shot down by anti-aircraft fire and crashed near the steps that Darth Junra stood on.

The army engineers would also begin to construct impromptu means of crossing the bridge due to the anticipation of the Republic resulting to self-sabotage and scorched earth tactics.

Just before rushing up with the rest of the Sith and troopers, Darth Junra turned to Darth Venatos, [member="Cale Gunderson"], and told him, “Clear the way into the palace, comrade.”

Nearby would have been [member="Darth Nexus"], whom Darth Junra had spotted having come from the transport that was just shot down. His assistance in dealing with the Jedi on the steps would have brought any conflict to a swift end.

Then, Darth Junra looked at [member="Ryan Korr"] as he emerged from within the Royal Palace. He only had one word to say to the Sith Lord before lashing out against her. Darth Junra reacted first by positioning herself in a fighting stance. She took a step to the side with her left foot as Ryan flew towards her with his lightsaber extended.

Gripping her lightsaber with both hands, Darth Junra swung up and to her right in order to parry the attempted stab. Rather than fight against Ryan Korr’s strength, she simply sought to redirect his blade so that it would pass through air just to the right of Darth Junra.

Upon successfully defending herself, Darth Junra took a few steps away from Ryan. He now stood among several Sith. Despite her psych being unassailable to all but the Dark Lord and immensely powerful beings such as Akala, Darth Junra might have seemed like a familiar presence to the jaded Jedi - something like a certain Sith Lady he had met not too long ago.

“A Jedi does not abide by absolutes,” claimed Darth Junra, “Have you forsaken their teachings simply to strike me down?”

 

[Akanias]

Location: University of Aldera
Objective: Take the Archives and it's Information.
Allies: One Sith.
Enemies: Galactic Republic

His jetpack had activated just as molten slag and his former shuttle had crashed through the roof. His force leap had pushed him to even greater heights when he had left his beloved ship.

At this point however, he was falling straight down to the University below, only dozens of feet above it. His jetpack was on of course, slowing his descent, but from the sheer speed of the projectile that had become his ship, and it's single living occupant, Astraios, it had pulled him down with it, a lot faster than he had ever planned it to do.

The Force slowed his descent as well. There was nothing stopping else he could use to stop it, except well, his Yuuzhan Vong Draxus armour. It guided him quickly down to the planet below, the jetpacko nly had short bursts in it, only made so it can slow his descent just enough. Unfortunately it didn't have enough juice in it and he was descending faster than he could have anticipated.

The Force was strong in him he figured, no one had told him so, it was assumptions. But at this point it was going to help him either, which was why he had come prepared.

Vonduun Skerr Draxus.

It's tentacles guided him with the wind to bring him down to the University.

Why are we even destroying knowledge, he questioned. Shouldn't we use it to piece the past together? Shouldn't this source of knowledge be kept standing? Obviously he wasn't helping that fact by destroying it's roof and most likely the several floors below, but it was too late to question that.

He crashed into the roof hard.

His armoured form bouncing up and then down into the hole that he had created and into a group of several Republic troopers who were rushing around the hole.

Once he was up to his feet, his lightsaber was in his hand but before striking he paused.

I've killed people, in this crash. But I've never done it personally have I? I'm fierce enough in combat, but when it comes to do the actual... Action of killing someone... I've never been there yet...

Before he could even swing, he blinked as he looked to the trio that he had landed upon. One of their heads was crushed on the ground, he was clearly dead, the other two were laying on the ground scrambling to get their blasters. One clearly older than the other, but he only watched the one who seemed to be a... Private it was called, right?

He blinked, confused, unsure as to what to do. Then the Sergeant he presumed fired at him, and he blocked the first few shots while several pattered against his chest, but he was backing up to gain distance, to further the range. But he saw something on the floor, shimmering, and he called it to him in the Force, and then he was falling.

House Panteer

Ana was running from room to room Sith forces were every where. She did not know the first thing to do. Stopping she wondered was this a moment. Her bid for Queen had been taken away by the treacherous Organa family. She narrowed her eyes in thought perhaps there was something to be gained.

She ordered the guards to protect the house while news of movement of troops funneled in. They were at the palace and headed to the university.

Was there a way to negotiate? She had to consider a move.

The Force would shoot through the Zabrak's body as she Force Sped in front of Boolon. There was a certain fire in her eyes, a determination within the Iridonian woman's lavender tattoo'd face, intense concentration flaring in her meditation.

Hands would rest at her sides, palms slightly lifted, as the woman would instantly summon up a Force bubble that would protect the Jedi Master from the spit, the result sliding down the iridescent sphere safely to the ground.

Malphas's lightsaber cut through the hole in the roof easily enough. It was made out of duracrete presumably, so the crimson beam cut through the Star Wars concrete and he glanced to the side as [member="November Sinclair"] engaged the Chistori.

Well that was unexpected.

The beast had covered his position with his body, probably unintentionally, and he glanced down into the hole below. Before leaping into it, he force pulled Mantorok, the giant Chistori to him, hopefully gauging the distance well enough so that when he leapt in, the scary monster will roll into the wide hole below with him.
