I am getting mixed signals. On one hand people decide draws because their fight were not finished and others seem to decide on the ruel that it is decided on where the fight is at the end of the invasion.....

In very simple terms, the rules give us a choice..

1. A clear win/loss - like someone dies or is captured or can't fight on

2. An outcome decided and agreed by both parties

Posts after the Invasion ends officially should not be counted. But how you were doing up to that point should.

And now...I'm going to get cross. Something I rarely do!

If people ask for advice, please share it. If people don't - then let them call their own fights.

And all this talk of cheating is quite frankly distasteful. This is a site for people to enjoy themselves. I can't believe people would rig a fight just to see the Republic fail. And if they do? They deserve our pity, not our condemnation.

And for the record. I do not believe anyone that has posted has in any way cheated an outcome. Not even 1%.

FACT: I was accused on Skype of fixing a fight in the current Invasions. If this wasn't so laughable, it would be insulting. My record in Invasions is poor at best (I have never won a duel in PvP). If I was so competitive, I would have jumped into fights that the GR might lose. I would have expected to have landed more saber strikes in my time here.

The current score? 0 in 5,500 posts. My first hit of any type was against Braith's writer in the last OS Invasion - where I landed a kick. Don't worry, she hit me back

So please...stick to facts. If you have a duel to call, please post - and keep opinions on other writers to yourself. I for one would rather quit the GR than continue to read this stuff. As much as it would sadden me, I would.

My fight was a loss because I was attacked by 3 amphistaffs, got amphistaff poison in me, was being lanced by a 4th amphistaff that hit me on the shoulder, then Force drained at the same time.

All on a char who has never fought Yuuzhan Vong technology.

I'm still rping it though, because I want to see what happens icly. There was no way that would have been a draw. Had I had some help like I kept asking for? Then yes could have been a draw or maybe a win.

What frustrates me is that I had told the OS admins that I would not post my results until my fight was done. They respected that. I asked for help to help me get this turned around, but I was told to post the results by a Republic FA instead of finishing my fight. To which end, there was no conceivable way of me getting out of it by myself. My dueling partner vanished, leaving me on a 2 vs 1 fight on my own.

That is why it was a loss.

There was no provision to finish the fights in the invasion terms and this instance was not communicated to us by OS staff. Please do not pin this on the GR FAs.

On top of that, I'm sure you're aware of how the invasion judging is expedited and we can't wait around for ten people to finish their duels that they might actually never finish.

But next time at least tell the person you're dueling with that you're bowing out?
