Coruscant Nights (Ask before you join)

Glyph stretched as he walked down the streets of coruscant, having left Felicity to her own devices for now as he had his own thinking to do and at the moment that included ticking of some low lifes... Sith for those who need specification. Normally he was targeting apprentices, something he could mess with without putting his life in danger... but now he was trailing a knight, interested by this one that he was looking at. Infact so much so he smiled as he moved forward and ran into her by accident, grabbing her credit pouch without even causing too much of a movement that could be noticed. "Sorry miss, i got pushed by someone into you."

Taeli was still feeling the after-effects of what she just put herself through, her nerves still extremely sensitive to touch after the scouring they had taken from the slave seed she had in her chest now to commune with Vong tech. A nice relaxing bath in her quarters would be just what she needed to soothe the nerves, that is once she got away from the people that called the Undercity home. It might be a perfect place for a lab, but the route was never easy and today apparently people without manners were everywhere.

"Sorry miss, I got pushed by someone into you," a young man apologized before moving away. That push had made her twinge internally as it was a very tender spot, but she only gotten another few steps when she noticed her money pouch was not brushing against her leg as no twinges were coming from it.

'That shabuir just stole my credit pouch,' she seethed, whipping around and backhanding one Quarren into a group of slashvines accidentally.

"Stop right there thief!" she yelled, starting to chase after the now fleeing young man. She was going to break every bone in his hand for that little stunt.

He was laughing, in plain site and simply laughing as he pulled the tip of his hood before bolting and laughing as he launched his body down an alley. He had lived on Coruscant before, hell he loved this place and the Sith were simply a minor nuisance. Sure they were better peace keepers than the Republic ever was, but could be just as stupid or even worse if you get in the path of a Graug or Sith... speaking of which. "Sorry, can't hear you." He was jumping now, and in a moment showed exactly what he was as he pushed the air under his feet to give him the extra boost he needed to get onto the metal siding of a fire escape of some kind, looking down at her. "Hows it going down there?"

Taeli looked up at the man. He was gloating, the little shabuir was karking gloating at her. Her annoyance level spiked for a moment before her mind reasserted itself and recognized he had essentially Force Leapt up to fire escape. Well two could play that game, but now knowing he was a Force user, and clearly not a Sith, she wouldn't be content just letting him have a broken hand. She Force Leapt up to his level, landing gracefully on her feet and allowing her Mark of Darkness to appear around her eyes.

"You shouldn't gloat until you know you're safe," she whispered even as he bolted up the fire escape with her in hot pursuit. It wasn't about credits anymore, she was either going to kill him or . . . well possibly make him her first apprentice. The idea had promise, possibly.

"Are you getting annoyed, better stop that or you might trip up." Smiling his saber activated for half a second as he spun then shot upwards, the stairwell he had been standing on (And soon Taeli would be) Began to collapse as he smiled down at her, landing two levels upwards before starting his path up the way to the roof again, keeping an eye on her was something that he knew would be needed. Sure his empathy told him how she was thinking on a primal level, and he could tell if she caught him and considering she was a Sith this was not going to end well... how fun.

'How clever,' she thought as he shot upwards to another level of the fire escape as the part she was standing on started to collapse. Thinking quickly, she Force Leapt from piece to piece until she was on stable footing and took off after him again, pulling her lightsaber out from her robe. The half circle guard that contained the hilt was comforting to see as she had finally finished the lightsaber. Her thief would be in for quite a shock when he saw what it could do, she was quite proud of it. Chasing him up to the roof, the nearest speeders whizzing by overhead, she smiled.

"Looks like you ran out of places to run, my slippery friend," she said slowly stepping forward, not igniting her blade yet.

Nyx growled slightly as she glanced over at the window of her small apartment. Some idiots were screwing around the fire escape, again. She guessed they were a few floors below her, so the Shi'ido walked over and openned her window. She climbed out on the fire escape and leaned against the railing, watching the two people below her. She growled again as she saw part of the stairs collapse and the boy racing up them. She grinned a bit. They had disturbed her nap, maybe she could mess with them. She closed her eyes and focused a bit, morphing her own features into and exact copy of the idiot who had caused the stairs to collapse. All she had to do now was wait for him to reach her. @Glyph @Darth Arcanix

Glyph ran right past Nyx, though the site of himself certainly caught him off guard as he tripped over his own feet to the top of the roof, actually rolling as his back slammed down hard onto the roof and his breath escaping him. "Ouch, damn that hurt, what the kark did i ju-" Then he heard the voice and looked up before groaning and sitting up as he rubbed the back of his head. "I could always run for another roof if i wanted, you have seen my abilities with the force and something like that should be simple enough."

"Just try it," Taeli whispered, her crimson blade igniting and she was fully prepared to use a Force Grip if he tried to jump for another roof. This thief needed to be taught a lesson, and as he had a lightsaber, she knew just the lesson to teach. It was time to fully test out her blade, but she would give the man one chance to walk away regardless. After all, it was good form.

"Hand back my credits, and I'll let you walk away with just a broken hand and your hurt dignity," she said, noting that they seemed to have someone watching their little encounter. She had noticed the doppelgänger of her prey on the stairwell, but hadn't paid whoever they were much mind . . . yet. She suspected a shapeshifter as the odds of a person having an exact twin were very low.

"Mind if I join your little party? You interrupted my nap, and sleep is hard to come by in my line of work," Nyx called, joining them on the roof. She was still an exact clone of Glyph. She turned to him and smirked, the look was almost sinister. "Hope you don't mind me borrowing your good looks? They may just make my job a bit easier. Get some idiots off my tail if you know what I mean?" she explained as she stared at the boy on the roof. She judged him to be about sixteen. She turned her gaze to Taeli next. The woman intrigued her, something seemed different about her. She wondered just how much people would be willing to pay for information on the strange raven haired Sith. "Orr, you take your money back and we have a nice civil chat... and a drink, rounds on me. Maybe you can be a bit looser with a drink, im sure it works on most people and Sith included." Glyph smiled and tossed over the credit chip bag, though his saber shut off he was not about ready to clip it back to his waist until the threat was minimized... now onto the copy cat. "Uh who ever you are, i suggest you leave incase miss Sithy there still wants to break my hand, getting in the way would be bad for your health."

"Oh if you want a date with the pretty Sith, I can be a suitable substitute if she says no," Nyx replied, shifting into Taeli now. She turned the other girl and smirked. "Your form is too similar to my normal one to be of use to me, don't worry I won't borrow it for long," Nyx assured, giving Taeli a cocky smirk. Her hand drifted down to rest on the hilt of one of her daggers. She didn't intend to join the fight, but she'd be prepared if a blow ended up coming her way. She sat on the edge of the roof, still smirking at the two of them. @Glyph @Nyx Saranei

"I don't drink," Taeli stated flatly. She could never stand alcohol, and would only drink wine if absolutely forced to if there was nothing else around. A habit from her university days that had held over and she felt it was good habit to keep. Being a Sith meant being cautious of your fellows, and she wasn't going to give anyone any extra chances to poison her.

"I would scurry away if I were you," she said to the copy of the thief. Her lightsaber was still out and glowing. She found it amusing that he wanted to talk his way out of a situation he started. He had to learn consequences occurred when you bit off more than one could chew. "The person you're copying tried to steal from a Sith Knight, that has consequences attached to it."

Internally, as she appraised the copy's attention to detail, she was sure that they were a Shi'ido. That could prove to be very useful.

"Now draw your blade and allow me to give you a lesson," Taeli said to the thief, whipping her lightsaber up in a salute before bring it down to her side, one hand behind her back to start.

"Well, if i must, though i do warn you that if you plan to continue this fight im going to get bored in the end." He craned his neck and yawned as he powered on his saber, as if not even taking the threat of his life hanging in the balance seriously, his eyes coming down and focusing in on her though now. And in that moment his face was devoid of emotion, as was the air around him, he was absolutely lost now in a void that showed on his face and a smile soon appeared. It was an eerie smile, one that while it continued to grow held no joy or humor in it. "After you, sith."

Taeli smiled to herself. It was a lovely mask he portrayed to the world, so calm and collected. But still, a fight was a fight, and she didn't intend to kill him . . . yet if the situation demanded. She didn't bother to give him a reply except to feint to his left before thrusting her blade right, twirling away to trail slash across his chest if he didn't guard right

Nyx watched the fight with alot of fascination. At some point she morphed back to her usual from. Her long black hair fell to her waist and her piercing blood red eyes absorbed every detail of the scene before her. She paid close attention to Taeli, making mental notes of the way she moved and her weapon. She could make money off of this if she could find the right person to speak too. Nyx was pretty good at finding people to sell what information she collected too. Everyone wanted to know about someone, and alot of them were willing to pay for it. People also had a tendency to bribe her to keep their secrets. She took the money, but most of the time she didn't keep her promise to stay quiet. [member="Darth Arcanix"]

Glyph smiled and his hands moved with his body as her feint came in, a common move and he expected none the less that the Sith would still be smart enough to try and trick her opponent before going for an open strike. A good but over used starting manuver and he was more than ready for it as the blade burnt through the air and missed him, his own blade now active and placed between his body and her blade to keep her from side swiping him. Then she pulled back and brought the saber in a more direct move, the blade humming and then crackling as it slammed into his and he worked to stabilize himself now. "Good..." He said this as if it were a training session, not a duel that could end his life, as if the thought didn't even register that she would kill him if he did not cooperate.

Her opponent had training she realized as she threw a series of attacks at him, and he blocked each one. His calm exterior gave nothing away, even as she blocked a counter-stroke and then another. She hadn't had such a good sword duel since her time at the university, her more recent fights not counting in her opinion as they weren't true blade duels. She dodged one slash, and redirected another into the ground, throwing a high slash that her opponent was able to block and their blades were locked for a moment before she spun away again as her opponent cautiously continued his careful approach.

Ducking a sweep of his blade, she unleashed a small amount of Force Lightning, just to force him to reposition his blade to block it or risk being thrown off kilter and allow an opening in his defenses.

Nyx continued to watch, smiling a bit. She enjoyed a good fight, especially when she wasn't one of the ones involved. She shifted a bit on her perch on the roof's ledge, starting to get uncomfortable. She knew the woman was a Sith, but she wondered what exactly the boy was. He obviously had some training judging by the way he blocked Taeli's swipes at him. She'd have to see if she would pry the information out of him later. [member="Darth Arcanix"] [member="Glyph"]

He watched her hand as the lightning shot out and slammed into his blade, pushing the burning blade into the bolts until they were gone as he let his eyes remain on her. He wasn't sure what she was doing though, Sith did not give up a duel this easily and soon he was going to have a bit of confusion accompanying his thoughts as he watched her and her blade, waiting for the next force power or the next strike.
