Coruscant Nights (Ask before you join)

Taeli smiled as she activated the second blade of her lightsaber, and she slowly started turning it hand over hand before rushing in. It was a completely different style than from she had just been using, as she unleashed several fast slashes, pivoting the blades up and down. Her opponent seemed to stumble just a bit at the sudden switch, and Taeli used it as an opening to catch him, just a small nick, in his thigh before spinning out. She launched another assault, an almost endless barrage of attacks to keep her opponent off balance on the defensive. If he did continue to hold out though, she would have to unveil the last mode of her lightsaber. Oh what a delight it would be.

Nyx smiled widely when she saw Taeli's little lightsaber trick. 'This'll be good to know,' The Shi'ido thought as she observed Taeli's style change completely. She thoroughly enjoyed this battle. It was much better than the fight she witnessed in the sketchy cantinas and drug houses that she was often found in. She leaned forward a bit, resting her head on the palm of her hand with her elbow sitting on her knee. [member="Darth Arcanix"] [member="Glyph"]

Glyph stares at the woman and a tinge of humor returns to his face, mixed with a bit more confidence before smiling wider and wider before he caught her blade's strikes one for one, though this would not last of course. After all he was still the lesser trained here, and it was that that he was scarred by was that cut on his thigh. While his Jung-jii fiber armor did reduce a tenth of the energy, the blade still seared through flesh like it was butter. Luckily though the cut was not deep enough and soon he reacted quickly as he needed a bit of distance between them and with such his hand glowed bright for a moment before a small wave of flames erupted right into Arcanix's face and out of his free hand.

Taeli was able to dodge having her face burned away, but she was blinking away spots from her vision and being forced to back up as her opponent took the offensive. He could throw streams of fire out of his hand, that was just wonderful. She had never encountered that technique yet, and it had her flummoxed and it took all she had to hold him off with her twin blades while she thought of a counter to such a technique.

She gritted her teeth as his blade grazed her shoulder, and she could tell he was trying to disable her enough so she couldn't fight anymore.

"Enough!" she yelled, projecting her voice as a Force Scream and sending him skidding backwards. Her eyes were blazing yellow now, her Mandalorian side taking over as she thought only of one thing. Break him. She began to stalk forward, swinging her lightsaber around her.

"I think ive overstayed my welcome, to which i bid you both adieu, sorry about the mess miss Sithy." He grinned wide as he stepped back twice before reaching the edge and smiling wider with a grand old bow. Right before dropping a grenade that for several moments would just sit there, while his entire body fell backwards and off the side. IF Taeli would try and get over to the edge, she would be greeted with the effects of the grenade, a small forcebreaker that would deny her the ability to grab ahold of him while he fell two stories before impacting on another roof, his body pausing for a moment after landing to look up.

Taeli looked at the grenade, picked it up with the Force and threw it over her shoulder as she leapt after him, landing behind him in a crouch. Standing up as he did, she held her lightsaber out in front of her, twisting the handle.

"You have no idea what you're in for," she hissed, the mag-locks on her blade emitters unlocking and her blades started to spin until all that was in front of her was a spinning wheel of energy. She rushed forward, her blade acting like a buzzsaw as she cut through part of the roof, her opponent being force to block for his life now. She could tell he had never even heard of such a weapon, not many had, and it showed as she knocked his blade aside and scored several small hits on his limbs. Not even to maim or anything, but he wouldn't be running away so easily.

"Ready to die?" she whispered.

"Shit." He looked behind him as she appeared. "Shit." His eyes watched as the blade spin like a saw, cutting apart everything it touched and he brought his hands up trying to block the blade. His own getting caught up in it in a moment before losing the blade. "Shit..." His words escaped as the blade cut him, small shallow cuts but searing painful cuts as the plasma blade tore apart his flesh and clothing. "No..." With that he curled his hand and reached out with the force, sending a blast of force energy. This was but a distraction though as his other hand came around and sent another more potent blast of flames to get her back before he lost his head in this. Of course though he would guard his hands, making sure she didn't remove them with that spinning demon of a blade.

She skidded back as his Force blast pushed back, but she blocked the follow through of flames by spinning her blade and dispersing the flames around her. His fire wasn't going to work this time, her blade coming close to taking his entire right arm off but he dodged just in time to avoid losing the limb. Scowling she spun on her heels, her blade chewing through more of the roof as she cutting into part of his foot before Force gripping him and lifting him into the air, disengaging the spinning blades so it was a normal double-bladed lightsaber again.

"Like it?" she asked, smashing him into the roof and lifting him up again. "It took me quite awhile to build, but its worth it don't you think?" into the roof again and up.

"Now, I hope you learned your lesson about stealing from an actual Sith not just an apprentice," she whispered, calling his blade over to her and cutting it in half. "Oh, before I forget. . ."

She focused her Force Grip on his hand and broke every bone in his right hand, and she tossed him aside, walking away.

Nyx had followed them and watched the rest of the battle. She stuck to the edges of the roof to avoid that wicked looking spinning blade. That was certainly going to make her a lot of money. She rushed over to Glyph when the battle had ended.

"Are you okay? If you come with me I can take care of your cuts some what. You may still want to see an actual healer, and I can exactly fix your hand," Nyx offed as she stood next to him. Most people would be surprised by her response. She wasn't exactly viewed as 'kind' by most people, but hey someone had to help him. [member="Darth Arcanix"] [member="Glyph"]

He groaned, suppressing the overly painful wounds, especially the part about his karking hand. That one hurt bad as he laid there and groaned before rolling over and seeing the face of the copycat doppleganger. "W-" Oh kark, no breath. A Lung is definitely punctured and he wasn't all too sure about that, forcing every single ounce of his energy left to keep his body alive and fixing the singular puncture, though this left him extremely drained as he lay there.

Taeli leapt back up to where the Shi'ido had first appeared during her chase of the thief, and she let herself into the apartment. It was a rather dingy affair, and clearly the girl didn't have much in the way of credits. Taking a step, she heard a glass crack under her boot and looking down she saw a random deathstick amongst a pile of clothing.

"Guess that's where your credits go," she muttered to herself. A Shi'ido almost always worked as a spy or assassin, even information brokering in a pinch, and that interested her. Expecting the shapeshifter to come back ehre eventually, Taeli left a small message with the offer of a job, payment up front for every assignment if it decided to take her up on the offer. If not, well, she could always track her down later. Her master would appreciate studying a Shi'ido's physiology she suspected. Leaving the apartment the way she had come in, she made her way back up to the surface of Coruscant and to the Sith palace.

Nyx helped Glyph up off the ground and slung one of his arms across her shoulders. She dragged him back to her dingy apartment and sat him down on her couch. She noticed a few deathsticks laying on the ground and attempted to subtly kick them under the couch. She also noticed the broken one and the note. She sighed as she picked up the shards of glass and threw a shirt over the spot to soak up the liquid. She threw the glass away and retrieved some bandages and a first aid kid from her room. She came back and sat next to Glyph.

"Want me to take a look at some of those cuts?" The Shi'ido asked as she took her seat. She'd worry about the note later. [member="Darth Arcanix"] [member="Glyph"]

Glyph groaned as she moved him into the room, eyes drifting shut for the moment while she dressed his cuts or atleast the ones she could. With that he opened his eyes and looked at her with the same kind expression that he did to everyone he met. "Who are you?"

Nyx smiled at him as she finished wrapping the bandages around the last of his cuts. She was still using her favored appearance, long waist length black hair, red eyes, and simple black clothing. She laughed a bit at the question, shifting back into a copy of Glyph for a few minutes before changing back.

"I'm your doppleganger silly! Name's Nyx," she replied as she got up. "I'll be right back."

Nyx entered her bedroom and grabbed a syringe off the dresser. It was already filled. She wrapped one of her belts around her arm tightly and found a vein. When she was done she swayed slightly at first, trying to adjust to the fact that her floor was moving. When she was sure she could walk she returned to her living room and sat next to Glyph again. A slight mark could be seen where the belt was and there was a bit of blood from where the needle went in. @[member="Glyph"]

Glyph knew something was wrong immediately as he suddenly felt something very different in which his head turned to where he could sense her feelings or rather just a primal feeling. It was when she emerged that he realized just what it was that he had felt and soon looked around the room, noticing this. "W-.... uh miss, are those..." He looked at the vials he had seen before.

"That's nothing!" Nyx replied hurriedly, snatching the deathstick off the floor and putting it in her pocket. She tried to think of something to change the subject too so they wouldn't have to discuss her addiction. She also struggled to ignore the fact that the room appear to melting around her. She sat back down on the couch and glanced over at Glyph.

"So you know my name now. Can I have yours?" The Shi'ido asked as her hair changed to a light blue color. She had a habit of changing her hair and eye color when bored. She also changed her eye color to a darker shade of blue to match her hair. @[member="Glyph"]

He started to lean back and lift his arms to put them behind his head, until his chest and hand sent a sharp pain up and into his body. "Karking... sorry, name is Glyph, i would shake your hand but i can't really move at the moment. And you know those are going to kill you, not to mention are illegal in most places... that includes Coruscant."

"My job could technically be considered illegal as well but it's a living. And it's not that bad... I can stop using them anytime I'd like," The Shi'ido replied, tucking her feet up under her as she sat down. She glanced around the trashed apartment. She really needed to clean.

"You can stay here for a bit and rest if you'd like. My rooms back there if you wanna take a nap. Just don't touch anything important," Nyx explained. If he smashed her deathsticks he'd be in some trouble. [member="Glyph"]

[member="Nyx Saranei"]

"Thanks, im going to need that nap." He yawned and gave her a short bow as he made his way to the room, rubbing his forehead with his free hand. He had no idea how he was going to get healed up right, lots of credits no doubt which meant there went everything he had saved up.

Nyx retrieved her pile of deathsticks from under the couch. By the time she was done with them there was only two left in the pile that had once consisted of four. She yawned, feeling a bit sleepy. She wanted to go take a nap. Without thinking she got up and walked to her room. She stripped off her clothing, leaving her in just her underwear and slide under the blankets on her bed. She then realized that Glyph was there, but he was asleep and she really didn't care. Instead she fell asleep, eventually cuddling up to the sleeping man next to her. [member="Glyph"]
