- Infiltration, Spec Ops and Reconnaissance - These men are among the elite of infiltration units under the First Order Military regime, trained to enter undetected to sabotage and eliminate hostile influences within their given mission zone as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Explosives and Heavy Ordinance - Accompanied by a heavy weapons and high ordnance specialist in case their cover is blown or the mission calls for less than subtle tactics, the Unit can prioritize the use and highly effective practice of heavy weapons fire and anti-armor assault.
- Special Forces Training - These men and women don't just use weapons, they are weapons; trained not just in the practice of firearms but highly skilled in hand to hand combat and military drills for which hone the physical body for grueling encounters, they are able and ready to bleed for their mission objective; after all, no pain, no gain as they say.
- Non-Force Users - As highly trained as these Soldiers come, they are at a disadvantage when combating Force Users due to their lack of sensitivity and ability to wield such powers outside of their comprehension.
- Specialized Infantry Unit (Ground Combat Only) - These good men and woman are not Pilots nor Commanders of grand Starships, they are good solid grounds forces risking their lives out on the front-lines of combat or behind enemy lines as a deterrent to foreign powers. While commandeering a vehicle may be necessary for ex-filtration, situation dependent, these men are the up close and personal sort with no armored support to bail them out of a grind.
- Six Man Army - What you see of this unit is all there is; any covert ops undertaken by this special forces squad is done under the recognition that there will be no back-up to pull them out of the fire. They are solely dependent upon themselves and their CO (Commanding Officer) for entry and exfil from a Hostile Zone.
- Plausible Deniability - As an extension to service of the Knights of Ren, these Soldiers are off the books and sanctioned only by high priority FOSB (First Order Security Bureau) Clearance. Any man or woman stepping into the field within this unit knows well and clear that in the chance of capture and likely interrogation, the First Order will ensure all steps to deny their existence and connection to the Imperial Machine.
- Commander, Alia Fedahkin.
Enlisted and taken into the 414th Light Infantry Regiment of the First Order Imperial Stormtrooper Corps, Alia Fedahkin started her service within the Supreme Leaders grand army as a grunt of the armed forces. A Private within Aurek Company, she was tasked to the front lines alongside her Squad in the early days of the war against the Ssi-Ruuvi.
Over the years that followed, the war against the Ssi-Ruuvi would be hard won by the First Order and Alia's military career seeing her rising up through the ranks to one day reach Sergeant and take command of her own Stormtrooper Squadron.
During the battle of Skor II against the rhetoric and antagonistic, self-righteous regime of the Galactic Alliance; Alia's Squad was assigned to the capital city during the First Order's invasion. Their mission perimeters were to sabotage a military anti-air installation in the hope of ensuring the successful landing of the First Order's ground forces.
While the mission was successful, heavy losses were taken and Sergeant Fedahkin and her few men left standing were pulled from the battle by the ranking Commander of the 221st Stormtrooper Legion, Lieutenant General Drenna Delaroux and his armada.
For her continued dedicated service to the First Order, Alia Fedahkin was assigned Commander to the Special Forces unit, Iron Mantle.
- Sergeant, Kulon Otheym.
Kulon Otheym was another recruit fresh into the Stormtrooper Forces of the First Order during the end days of the war against the Ssi-Ruuvi. Younger than Alia Fedahkin by a mere couple years yet no less stern and steadfast to his duty, he initially started out his military career under the command of Field Marshal, van der Layen; Commander, of the Core Sector's StormTrooper corps.
For a number of years following the Ssi-Ruuvian Crisis, Kulon was drafted to serve aboard the "Red Death", a Marauder-class Cruiser of the First Order Navy under the authority of Commander Ferris Rellard.
This would see Kulon gaining significant experience serving among the Red Fleet and would later elevate his career during the battle against the Galactic Alliance, during which he, along with the Task Group 'Swift Sword' (now decommisioned), boarded and destabilized an Alliance Gunship holding a number of First Order Prisoners of War.
Kulon Otheym was later hand picked by Alia Fedahkin due to his extensive military profile supplied to her through the FIrst Order Security Bureau; he now resides as her second in command over the Covert Forces of Iron Mantle.
- 1st Lieutenant, Naraj Fremen.
1st Lieutenant was hand picked for the Iron Mantle Special Forces due to her exemplary career as a Scout Sniper within the 7th Division, Ryoone Planetary Army.
Having undertaken missions from high profile assassinations of military officials and high ranking enemy personnel, to the sabotage and demolition of key military facilities under the cover of black ops protocols, Naraj Fremen is a ghost within the field utilizing a combination of technology and stealth reconnaissance to eliminate her assigned targets.
Armed with the S-42R Sniper Rifle and a Silenced Comet OSM-10, she is proficient in both long and close rang combat; severely disadvantaged against automatic firearms however, without the support of Iron Mantle, she is prone to keeping to the shadows and employing the best of her ability in evading and choosing her battles wisely.
With this one, every shot counts.
- Specialist, Sietch Tabr.
Sietch Tabr is built like a tank, staunch as they come, he is the demolitions and heavy ordinance expert within the Iron Mantle Special Forces Squad. Tasked with the upkeep of upper tier weapons and ammunition for the Squad, not only does he handle the explosive but so too carries additional magazines and ammunition should his comrades fall short due to extensive combat.
As it is with Warefare, grounds troops cannot forever avoid coming upon armored opposition, whether that be ground forces such as a tank division or air to ground assault craft such as military air speeders; frankly he has a fond attention to detail when it comes to eliminating them all. His most recent found new love is the MPL-23, a long range heat seeking missile launcher capable of delivering heavy explosives damages upon impact with armored vehicles.
Within the field of battle, Sietch has proven himself more than worthy of carrying the Iron Mantle's military patch. Over the months since their draft to the new Special Forces Squad, he has since eliminated a number of facilities suspected in sharing propaganda against the First Order and their continued fight to restore peace and Order within the Galaxy.
- Agent, Mira Scytale.
A former combat medic of the 414th “Pathfinders” Light Infantry Regiment, Mira Scytale originally studied and graduated in her medical studies upon Avalonia, later going into a career in health before being drafted into military ranks during the war against the Galactic Alliance.
Initially, combat was not at all her forte, anxious and clumsy in her first year of service of the 414th, she later become hardened in mind and body through the horrors she faced and the men whom she managed to save thanks to her expertise in first aid.
She now serves the Iron Mantle as their medical professional, carrying a fire-arm in hand hand and her medical bag slung over her shoulder, her primary job is to keep her comrades alive and healthy during which there is rarely any shortage of violence to contest her work.
- Agent, Gara Harken.
Recruited straight out of the First Order Security Bureau, Agent Gara Harken is a prominent tech engineer and Iron Mantle's designated back door into any backwater security system. His knowledge of hacking and reworking electronic systems is above that of his peers and he is often responsible for the acquisition of crucial knowledge before their given mission is carried out.
With the assistance of Naraj Fremen, mission briefings have been astonishingly accurate, always scouting their target before proceeding to their objective, Gara Harken is a pivitol tool to which has often kept Iron Mantle from being detected.
While he is skilled in the use of small to medium Firearms, his most effective tool is that strapped to his right forearm, the SB-U01 Wrist Datapad for which displays a great deal of information critical to mission success as well as consistent communication through to the FOSB and High Command doubling as the Squads Communications Officer on the ground.
