Creepypastas (Could get graphic and/or horrifying)

I find this is one of the creepiest: http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/The_Russian_Sleep_Experiment
First time I watched a video that mentioned it was at 2 AM, but perhaps I shouldn't have been watching that video at the time anyway. But yea, I like the concept and all, and it's always creepy when I read it :p

Another one is: http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Ted_the_Caver, it's very creepy, and I was creeped out at every part of it, great read.

The last one is: http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Psychosis, made me stay up a bit later every night, very, very creepy story, I definitely suggest you guys to read it.

[member="Adenn Gra'tua"], that's what I meant by classic horror.

Ted's Mystery Cave had unfamilliar surroundings (caves make great horror settings as they're rarely used. Underground, surrounded by seemingly supernatural darkness. Tight spaces. Et cetera. Look at The Descent. Bloody good horror movie.) The monster was never seen, which is brilliant.

To quote Michael Swaim, "Horror movies lose their appeal after the money shot. Much like porn." Keeping the creature out of sight, but represented by the other senses is delightful. It's why implied gore is so much better than shown gore.

Everything in my head is 20x scarier than anything you can show me in a picture or movie.

And, finally, cliffhanger ending. Always keep your audience guessing. So, yes. Very well written.

As for the other story, I felt like that was a well written homage to Twilight Zone-esque horror. It was all atmosphere. For me, that whole "subconscious fear of looking out a dark window for there's something terrible out there peering in on you" is very relatable. Which leads him to go mad. Only for his delusions to be rewarded as legitimate.

[member="Maria Natalja"], Psychosis is so wonderfully written. I think that's why I like it... I used to have it memorized and would recite parts to freak my friends out who had read it. (Having a photographic memory is fun.)

I once wrote a little bit of a creepypasta about a little girl who wasn't all she seemed. It was pretty cliche though and I scrapped it into the void of lost data, but it wasn't bad. Just not good.

[member="Bridgin Sky"] and [member="Maria Natalja"], I agree. Psychosis had great atmosphere. It was almost a modern edition to classic Twilight Zone-esque horror.

[member="Atretes Rhoujen"], that gives me an idea. Why don't we make new creepypastas"

Could be interesting. On a less-strict site I used to write on, I had made some pretty gruesome instances with a Sith hydra in a... terrific atmosphere.

Psychosis is good... But my favorite has to be Jeff the killer, with the Russian sleep experiment as a close second. Russian sleep experiment had me until the lame (IMHO) ending, and besides, the freakin picture of Jeff the killer just makes me cringe every time I see it.

Russian Sleep Experiment was good, but nowhere near Psychosis in my opinion. Most of the other creepypastas I've read/listened to are just kind of lame and stupid, RSE was quite good, but Psychosis is not even near the quality of the normal ones. It's so perfect. The ending of it, however, was quite strange and mystical, not quite easily understandable. At least to me.
