Little kids are creepy enough as is. Especially after they carve a permanent smile on their face and cut off their eyelids.
It's atleast better than Eyeless Jack. A lot of the creepypastas lose a lot of their appeal when the characters involved play by horror movie rules instead of acting like normal people. I remember reading Eyeless Jack and, the reactions of the protagonist really just made me shake my head. "Well, I woke up without a kidney. So, cops didn't find anything, so I crashed once again at the house where my kidney was removed. In my sleep. And then, omg. I was attacked by the Eyeless Jack. Ran out of the house into the woods. Slipped and hit my head on a rock. Woke up in the hospital. Doctor was all like, "Oh hey. We got good news and bad. Good news is you're going to be okay. Bad news is your brother is missing." So, parents took me to my brother's house so I could collect my things. Well, found my kidney and my brother. He was dead. So, I packed a bag and went to my parent's car without saying anything to them."
Lolwut?
"The kidney had a bite out of it. Some black bile on it."
Oh. Good thing you didn't call the cops so they could try to pull dental records and/or DNA. Process that black bile, see what it's all about. Or maybe there's some evidence on your brother's body. It'll atleast keep you out of jail.

While not exactly a "creepypasta", we Germans are known for our dark and morose folk tales. My favorite is the Krampus, the evil sidekick to Santa Claus. If you're a good boy or girl, Santa Claus brings you gifts on Christmas. If you're a bad boy or girl, instead you get a visit from the Krampus, who drags you to his dungeon lair and kills and eats you.
The tale has inspired various "Krampuslaufen" (literally: Krampus runs), large parade festivals which give grown adults a perfectly good reason to dress up as demonic monsters and scare the living shit out of small children.
