Freedom is the ultimate goal of the Crimson Dawn, but wresting it from the hands of the powers that be requires tact and conviction. Like any enterprise worth its weight in credits, the Dawn imposes an organizational scheme that keeps its underlings in line and the vision of its leadership alive. Membership is treated very intentionally and is only offered to trusted associates of the Dawn after a strong rapport is established. Agents may offer recruitment to well-traveled contractors as a reward for completing particularly dangerous missions for the syndicate, an advance in lieu of credits that is far more valuable than typical payment.

Once an individual joins Crimson Dawn, they are a member for life.

While technically not made-members of Crimson Dawn, Contractors are considered the bottom rung of the syndicate's power structure. Contractors are independent agents completing missions ranging from one-off jobs to small time chains of work. They are typically freelancers who bounce between the underworld's criminal enterprises, taking work from whoever will give it without truly committing to one syndicate or another.

Recruiters in the Dawn often keep an eye on prospective Contractors in hopes of bringing them into the fold, though they are wary - a miscalculated investment in a disappointing recruit is often met with harsh repercussions.

Fresh meat and the bulk of Crimson Dawn's forces. Underlings are the lowest level of made members in the syndicate and are often referred to as soldiers or troopers. Cruel higher-ups may use them as cannon fodder against the Dawn's enemies, but good leaders know the value of their inferiors. Keeping Underlings well-paid and well-connected is vital to ensuring their loyalty, especially when hostile governments and competing syndicates are on the prowl for turncoats.

Underlings are afforded a standard kit of equipment, typically including a signature blaster pistol, body armor, slicing kit, and access to syndicate stock from black market vendors.

A coveted role and often the end of the line for most members, Enforcers are the eyes and ears of the Crimson Dawn. They maintain order within their respective cells, reporting directly to the Lieutenants above them. Enforcers are given certain powers over Underlings and often lead squads during missions or encounters with enemy forces.

Much like their Underlings, Enforcers are endowed with impressive equipment. Blaster rifles, advanced combat armor, cybernetic implants, and access to specialized black market goods are just some of the perks of reaching this tier in the organization.

In larger cells, entire city districts or space stations may fall under total control of the Dawn. These large territories are under the jurisdiction of Lieutenants, who maintain the Dawn's presence on behalf of their Underbosses. Lieutenants are powerful individuals with large spheres of influence. They tend to have connections in various industries and political arenas - pocketed officials and corporate officers who turn blind eyes or even support Crimson Dawn behind closed doors.

It is not uncommon for Lieutenants to reside in Crimson Dawn safehouses or aboard personal starships.

Keepers of entire planets, or in rare cases, systems and sectors, Underlords are penultimate only to the Crimson Dawn's leader himself. These powerful individuals are the heads of their respective cells and command hundreds or even thousands of operators. Their hands guide invisible markets, pull the strings in galactic senates, and squeeze the trigger of Imperial legions. Their influence spreads far and wide. If the galaxy is like a web, the Underlords are predatory spiders just waiting for opportunity to catch itself in their periphery.

Underlords are granted access to the Dawn's finest assets and most elite equipment. Experimental tech, starship fleets, and legions of Crimson Dawn soldiers are at their disposal, so long as they execute the will of the Dawnbringer.

*OOC Note: Underlords are established via active RP and contribution to the faction. This rank is earned.

At the center of it all, commanding a galactic network of intrigue and criminality, is the illusive Dawnbringer. There can be only one; all who came before and will come after must do so through clever usurpation. The vision of the Dawnbringer guides the actions of the syndicate and necessitates Crimson Dawn's actions. Some have wrought self-inflicted wounds, nearing the organization to collapse. Others have brought about "golden ages" of influence and prosperity. Crimson Dawn is experiencing a season of the latter.

The current Dawnbringer is Thayne Tameron Thayne Tameron of Dromund Kaas.

*OOC Note: Dawnbringer is a rank reserved for faction staff only.
