Crown of Midnight

She looked at her old saber. Modified. Made to be better. She activated it. The yellow light made the room glow with light. She brought her dark side saber to her hands and activated it as well. Both blades gave a soft hum and the room darkened as the red blade shown almost as dark as her yellow blade was light. She slowly twirled both blades holding them in her hands and swinging them in a pattern she had learned years ago. Slow became faster and faster became quick and suddenly Lia was twirling and striking at the air with both blades at a speed that astonished her. All those years as a dancer had built muscle. Muscle that she could finally use for herself... She paused suddenly. Not for herself. She deactivated both blades and hung them on her belt. For her child. For Nomira.

The sith lord felt it and grinned to herself as she walked standing tall and within the ship. They had a section down towards the surface of Jakku with a nod of her head. "We are here." She said it and the sith lord moved through the ship holding her lightsaber on her hip and an axe. Alchemically enhanced and useful beforeshe slid it on her back. Where the sith lord could look and opened the ramp leading down as she started to walk and the artificial mountain was built with a facility under the sands and rock. Where they had checked it all out, where they could move with the firebirds who were lining the path down towards it.

She could tell that they had landed. She gave a half smile. Finally, she could show her master the new weapons that she had built. Weapons she hoped would be enough to save her daughter.. and in the worst cases.. defend herself against her master. She opened a footlocker at the end of the room by the door. Inside she found a few things. A belt with some supplies and resources to survive a planet like this. And the other thing she took out was a cloak to protect herself from the heat. She exited the room and made her way to the docking bay.

Once there she looked up at the line of cloaked firebirds were lining down the path for her master. She took a heavy breath and followed feeling the heat of the sun and the dry air filling her lungs.

She looked at the woman when she came near and opened her arm to pull her in closer. The desert was cooler this far down, less exposed to the sun as the doors opened with the force itself. Making it a stronger moment as the sith lord stepped into the lift that would head down into the ship. A look upon her face though as the firebirds looked at them but remained standing there stiffly. They were well trained and professional in heir nature as darkside fighters. Their leader wasn't balaya.. she just made their equipment and their priestess was a speaker of the darkside and farseer who sought to restore the ancient codex.

"Where are we going master? Also.. have you seen? My weapons are ready." She took them both off her belt and activated the red one showing off its bright light with a few swings and brandishes. She looked out at the guards and then into the sand dunes. This planet was a strange one. It made her feel.. a stronger connection to the force. Whatever side of the force it was she was unsure. The line between dark and light had become blurred for Lia over the years. And now that she was in service to a dark side powerhouse she felt less and less comfortable in the light. But.. she knew that when the choice came between them what one she would chose.

She looked at her and nodded her head looking at the weapons. "THey are impressive and shall serve you well." There was a grin on her face though as the lioft went down and it was massive and designed to observe the unknown regions but it had full galaxy maps and information centers they should be able to use. "We will have to see if we can find anything. The empire kept a powerful database and it has been being updated through drones and sliced systems in the galaxy. Wherever your child is we should be able to find her since you don't have much information to go on."

With all due respect master... The person who stole her wasn't with the empire. I had seen her once before.. taking a bounty from my master" She deactivated her red saber and hung it under her poncho. She put a hand to her chest as she began to walk down the ramp side by side with her master. She caught a whiff of the pheromones and grinned. "If this is an imperial database it might be out of date? How reliable do you believe this info is? If it was put into place when the empire was at its peak the drones could be an unreliable source." She counseled. She had to admit, this part of the planet was much cooler then the other side. However, it was still hotter then any planet Lia had ever been too.

This was.. exciting. looking in old files. Going to planets she had never seen before. It was the life she believe she had always wanted as a jedi. But this time she was with a massive dark side wielding zeltron with enough musculus in her body she could flex almost anywhere and have it become harder then a rock. Her master was a necessary evil if she wanted to find Nomira. It was only a mater of time before she did. It was hard keeping her own thoughts from the dark woman [member="Balaya Praelior"] let alone something physical. Either way. She looked forward to the adventure ahead.

She looked at her. "This facility was designed to maintain itself and self update as needed so it has remained up to date by slicing into droids with secondary background programs so they could send information through channels without being noticed." She looked at it and down below like this where there were some artifacts and even more. These facilities were scattered around the unknown regions and others in the galaxy like Tantiss which housed one of the largest cloning facilities outside of Kamino. The sith lord checked over some ofthe things that they had as she walked around.

Lia'ssa looked at her situation.. She needed this to work. She needed her master. If not then Nomira was surly lost. To a dark side that she could never overcome. But.. if Lia found her.. how much different would her life be? She knew she could save her. She had to.. and if she used the dark woman to do this then it was a necessary evil so to speak. However, she didn't know what to do know. She would be sent off, searching systems for and with her master for what? Weeks? Months? Years? Force forbid decades. It was all starting to work in a strange.. yet.. interesting way. She focused hard as she thought this, using her force power to hide her thoughts.

"Yes mistress. I understand. So this will be our base of information then? Our headquarters for the time being when we are not on the ship looking? It.. is kinda messy but we will make due. I know we will find her. With your power there is no doubt. But that is not what I am worried about. When we find this dark side.. bounty hunter.. assassin woman.. how do we know if she is not alone? She could have an army at her back.. Are you willing to fight a war for me? " She asked looking up at the pink muscular woman [member="Balaya Praelior"]

She didn't even need to nod. The grin growing across her face had said it all. It wasn't about finding Nomira. It was about gaining victory over others.. Lia remembered the sith code.. through victory.. my chains.. are broken.

She was looking at her and found a seat. "You are misunderstanding a few things.. this is to find her. I have little intention of launching a campaign for you." She grinned to herself though and brought a hand up to her chin bringing up a holographic display that would let her searchthroughout the galaxy and try to find them She didn't need to launch a thousand ships and she had seen armies... she had seen wars. The firebirds were handcrafted and faithful to their darkside origins. They wouldn't fall to something as simple as some of these creatures with a grin on her face.
