A blank look captured Raijan's features, watching as he set about to firing his non-lethal carbine. Arms crossed over his chest as he leaned back on the bike, he watched bodies collapse, incapacitated on the ground. Still the ritual went on, the chantings got louder, and still, Raijan watched on. As he'd move on to new targets, fallen bodies would rise again, bewildered and confused before being caught back up in the midst of their ritual.
The range and the weaker state of fire made it easier to resist unconsciousness. Barely a minute, and no matter how much he lined up the perfect shot, it was only a matter of seconds before the Sith would rise up again.
Glancing to the chronometer on his wrist, he saw the time continuing to tick down. "Time to wrap this up," he said, eyeing a single story structure nearby. The mystical energies of the Force swirled around it, firing up into the sky. It was not as powerful as he expected it to be, perhaps the reason why he had not initially sensed it. Nose twitching, he raised up, shooting a glance to find Varian before he took off on foot, propelled by the Force to the building.
There's more than just the Force at play here.
