Crystal Harvest [Horde Dominion of Aurum]

Back at the command center Dredge could hear the explosions and fighting in the distance, was it too much to ask for a little peice and quiet when it came to murdering a few peeps and putting them to the stake? Obviously the answer was yes but it didn't matter anymore. The enemy was severely outnumbered and they would be destroyed like everyone else on this planet. Standing over a map that was plotted from orbit dredge began to command his troops and resources. "I want tunnels to be dug here and here for the Gruag, we know how they like their holes. As for the the factories for Subach I want them set up on the crystal caves. Lets get this done with." Giving the orders ships in orbit began to move and coordinate with the overlords wishes

Seven droids. Four metres tall. Down with the trees. Metal tentacles errywhere.

Spencer was, for the moment, good to go. So was Sio -- not like anything could hold HER back. The shell gun barked again, twice, and three of the Collector droids took EMP bursts hard enough to fuzz Jorus's shielded cybernetic eyes for a second. He was already moving through crashing metal tentacles, some controlled, others less so.

Spencer and Siobhan could take care of themselves, definitely. He ran with the Force as his ally, though that wasn't really something he did as such -- more a side-effect of his focus on FOrce-enhanced hand-to-hand. Finding a small clearing, he threw himself through a hibridium cloaking field and into the Gypsymoth.

"Take off, Beyyr. Keep the cloak up, keep us low. Miktik, prep the Connor nets." As the cloaked ship rose above the treeline, Jorus took the pilot's seat from the Wookiee and, by instinct, headed back to where Spencer and Sio were fighting.

An immense electrified net, half a square mile in size, settled over the forest, the dropships, the droids...Spencer and Sio would have their work cut out for them.

“Oh boy this isn’t good…”

Spencer watched as things started to descend upon them. The plant life that was at every turn continued to grow rampant. This would hopefully play a part in slowing down whatever decided to come at them. Spencer continued to pour every ounce of the Force into the vines, shrubs and trees. As they continued to grow, even the roots of the trees ripped from the ground and started to sprout thick and new tree trunks. Once the droids and collectors landed, they would come face to face with a green mess. Vines shot out towards the descending collectors diving into the mechanical orifices to clog and overwhelm it.

The shrubbery scattered along the ground growing thicker and thicker making it nearly impossible to walk through. Spencer hoped that the droids would get tangled in it until they figured out a way to stop the woman from continuing to fuel the jungle with life. There was a life form nearby, she couldn’t sense him through the force, but she had given up on trying to sense the force dead through the force. Here she was nearly blind and realizing she needed to learn to rely on her senses instead of the Force. Before she could do anything else, Jorus released the electro nets towards the forest. Seeing this, she was able to catch a glimpse of the life form that had shot something towards her.
Not knowing what it was entirely, she moved her arm in an arching fashion, this caused the growth of the shrubs and a tree trunk to fall covering and shielding her from whatever it was. Doing this also created a barrier that protected her from the advancing Vong. The last thing she needed was to get up close and personal with one of these ugly buggers. Returning to the focus of the Plant Surge, she continued hoping to stall and eventually overwhelm the oncoming force.

Staying away from the enemy, gun shots could be heard, and growth of the vegetation could be observed, Incubus' duty? Observe. They were almost done, and though a itching to challenge things greater in power than he itched at him, he was commanded, watch. The construction was going on behind him, Dredge was maybe a few meters away.

"My Lord, I believe we are winning." He said. As he took a few steps back, he observed the construction behind him, turning his head, not his body. Vongs drilled, dug, and constructed. Like ants building a nest, quickly, effectively. He knew soon it would be over, and the planet, technically theirs. @[member="Supreme Overlord Dredge"]

As the collector droids were pushed lower and lower onto the ground it made moving for them a lot more difficult obviously. Thousands of droids pushed to the ground trapped in the growing vegetation, so there was only one option to break free. Burn it all to the ground. In unison the droids activated their plasma torches and began to cut through the masters overthrow forest cutting vines and trees down alike so the could make room for themselves. Creating pathways through the vines and thick brush it would be another post or two until they actuall freed themselves to swarm whatever it was causing the disturbance. They wouldn't be able to see the cloaked ship but they would certainly hear it with the high powered listening device. @[member="Incubus"] @[member="Spencer Jacobs"] @[member="Jorus Merrill"]

Break touched down and began his hunt
" @[member="Supreme Overlord Dredge"] shall I find the threat and provide friendly assistance to our allies?"
He immediately took to the shadows his legs carrying him faster than any organic could hope to outrun. He saw as the collectors scorched the landscape. The strength of the droids like himself was that nothing would stop them from reaching their goals especially not some stupid lone jedi. ((just what he thinks of jedi nothing personal))
he charged his plasma canon in preparation of a fight.

Dagon watched with passive satisfaction as the artificial abominations were countered and destroyed by the enemies of the Horde.
Dagon understood the value of the constructs...
Dagon understood why the Vong needed to tolerate such things...
But Dagon still reveled in their destruction.

Watching from a thousand eyes, Dagon observed the fighting.
Dagon orchestrated young ones in their combat...
Dagon gave them unity and understanding.
Dagon gave them purpose.
Dagon made them fight as one.

All of the young ones... fighting as one.

Yet the enemies of the Horde continued to resist.

Dagon knew how to deal with such resistance.

Red eyes glowed menacingly from within the shadowy confines of the liquid container the Yammosk resided in.
Dagon reached out to the few biological warships that were bringing new young ones to the planet...
Dagon reached out to the young ones...
The shaped ones...
And the great ones.

Dagon gave the new young ones purpose and unity.
Dagon gave the young ones a target.
Dagon willed the new beasts of war into the combat.

Three Fire Breather's stepped from the shadowy confines of their drop ship...
And began making their way towards the animated forests that were molesting the young soldiers of the Horde.

"The forest burns fast. I hope you are pleased my Lord." He spoke to [member="Supreme Overlord Dredge"]
He stood by the master now, looking at the digging. "My Lord, the holes would go faster if I assisted the workers." He offered help.

A Chiss lady walked out of a narrow and dark hallway, as she shielded her eyes from the glaring sunlight. She walked through the torn up dirt, and began scanning the area. She pressed a couple of buttons on her wrist comm, and began speaking into it, to speak with her fellow Horde members. "Hello? This Sokrai Ronaro, report in your position and status." She said into the comm, as she walked through the grimy paths.

Looking over at the woman coming out from the shadows dredge smiled and called them over. "Come my friend, I will not bite" well not much at least. He did just finish crucifying and burning down a temple of force users and two villages. Yup all and all it was a pretty good day for dredge. "Incubus see to it that cruisers are brought down on the crystal areas. We need to start mining as soon as possible. Also if you get the time KILL THE GROD DAMB FORCE USERS DESTROYING OUR ALLIES!!" Screaming into a comm unit he sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I swear you can't get good help these days. I hope you are not as incompetent as the others?" He said sighing afterwards [member="Sokrai Ronaro"] [member="Incubus"]

Break heard the call knowing it wasnt aimed at him but took slight offense anyway..."Time to prove him wrong..."

He ran forward through the fire and flames he ran onward. He located [member="Spencer Jacobs"] and boy who was about 3 posts away and boy was he going to have fun here. Jis position was hidden the fire, doing no damage to him it would provide excellent cover until he made his attack. His charge began to sing with power he could feel the energy swelling as it came to full power. He would make this a scout mission to remember.

[member="Supreme Overlord Dredge"]'s Collector droids would, right now, be running into problems with their cutters, auditory sensors, and continued operation. A Connor net was heavily electrified, suitable for disabling full-sized warships.

By gut instinct, the core of his power, Jorus steered for [member="Spencer Jacobs"] and a pickup.

And then ran right into one of the Fire Breathers. Force instincts didn't do crap against Vong biots. The Gypsymoth was hundreds of tons of flying brick, but all his concentration went right out the window as the featureless blackness of the hibridium cloaking bubble suddenly included part of an aerial flamethrower beast.

The Gypsymoth's turbolasers flared, point blank, and the cloud of anti-blaster aerosol blew away with the force of the Gypsymoth's passing. The YV-929 homed in on Spencer's location, trailing chunks of Fire Breather. The ramp began to lower.

Spencer realizing quickly that this wasn't going to end well in her favor, she quickly used whatever that was nearby and used it to quickly create a firey barrier between her and anyone who would try and stop her from what she was about to do next. Seeing that Jorus was coming towards her with the ship, she used the force to help her leap into the lowering ramp. Hanging on, she pushed herself finally into the ship and rolled a bit till she was safe.

"We're popular eh? Where's Siobhan?"

Break watched as the Force user leaped away he had a clear shot with both of his blasters but thought it wiser to let her escape noting that a fight just leads to a death, something he didnt want to be on either side of the blade.

"The Jedi is retreating it looks to be a high ranking one too, my lord I have been cut off from pursuit by fire i will move to the next target.

Using the flames as cover he kept on the pursuit of another target perhaps some other jedi....

As far as it seemed, re cruisers landed fine near the cave entrance, a few yards away. Now was time to attack, rushing through the fire, not feeling it through his armor, and began to back away the vegetation like it was hollow. Cutting a path straight to btw Collectors. Eventually he got to them, and saw nets covering them.

Unaware of the nature of the nets, he hacked away at the nets, electricity surged through his body, white pain flashing through his vision. The pain was great, but he kept going, releasing the droids of their bondage. In the back of his mind he was screaming, his insides burned, his nerves twitched. Releasing the final one, andbthe pain resided as he no longer touched the net.

He did this all in time to see re ship, and a woman jump in it. "My Lord, a ship is attempting to leave." He informed the overlord. [member="Supreme Overlord Dredge"]

"We have just about the entire army here and you are worried about the one little ship?! SHOOT IT DOWN!!" The nearby cruisers in which the collectors had come out of turned to face the dangling woman who was attached to a cloaked ship. Normally it was pretty much impossible to see a stealthed ship and target it, but seeing a woman dangling out of an open loading ramp kind of gave them away. "FIRE NOW!!" As the ships moved into position to take aim they couldn't lock on to the cloaked ship but instead they would have to free fire so that would take some more time before the could confidently let off a shot they know would hit. So for now they simply continued to aim at the ship and ready their turbo lasers to blow it out of the sky. The collectors were pretty much under the the net tripping massive balls which left them out of the game for now. So the only things left were the ships in atmosphere to target the Gypsy's Mouth

Other Space Kaiden

Better than other-other space Kaiden
[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"]

The Dark Lord slowly rose from his nicely dug crater in the ground, his arm felt like it had been completely forced out of place and he could barely move it. It was nothing a medic couldn't fix with a good shove, but right now it was simply causing him a searing pain. The Space Orc looked up towards the sky and saw that his storm of glass had been somewhat deflected by his opponent and that she was now being latched onto by some of the Vong's collector droids. Good, the heating of the ground had used quite a bit of Krag's energy and he needed a moment to breath. Well, that was when the force gust from Kerrigan blew through the open plains and smacked Krag like a ton of bricks.

The Dark Lord went flying backwards, his body protected from cuts by the armor but was still being blown across the desolate surface like a rag doll. Finally, Krag came to a stop only to witness lightening begin to whip about the air crazily and he stood to get a better view. This force user was not what Krag had expected at all, she was much more powerful than he first anticipated. As Sibohan's lightening began to scorch the Earth, a collector swooped down from the sky and attempted to wrap its tentacles around Vulcanus's already wounded arm.

"Get off me, damn machine!" Krag roared, grabbing the droid with his good arm and forcing it to the ground so that he could give it one good stomp with his foot. The droid's face plate was caved in rather easily by the Dark Lord's slight force enhanced curbstomp and that only left that pesky force user to deal with. Vulcanus was in no shape to chase after her all willy nilly, but he was going to give her one last show if anything. Fueling his body with what current reserve of force energy he had, Krag sent a coursing pulse of dark energy through his good arm and then thrust his fist forward while stomping his right leg one step forward. The movements of his body were something Krag had learned to do in order to amplify his usage of the physical force much like the Shapers of Kro Var did. The dark energies he had built up then released themselves into the air just above Vulcanus's knuckles, taking the form of a searing purple and black ball of flame that was manifested of the darkside. The ball burned much hotter than any natural flame and using it had taken what Vulcanus had left to fight, at least for a short while. With any luck, he would kill or seriously injure Sibohan with this attempt.

Taking a step back, painting heavily, Krag watched his ball of flame zoom off into the sky. That is when the lightening hit. A lightening bolt of the force struck his armor and sent a coursing flow of electricity through him. If it weren't for his Sith Armor and its force capability, he'd probably be dead. The Dark Lord was throne back and his prosthetic eye exploded into a flurry of electric bolts that scorched his face and made him roar in pain. The Dark Lord soon found himself a dozen feet from where he once stood, his one eye looking up at the sky and his whole body aching.

Space ork hordes, Vong, fire breathing, walker-sized Leviathans and now cruisers! Our three intrepid adventurers could certainly not complain about a lack of popularity. Rather it seemed like everyone wanted a piece of them, but then that was no cause for complaint. After all, it was nice to be wanted!

The fully electrified Connor net spread across the sky, fully capable of disabling even full-sized war ships. It also would, if she was caught inside it, have a rather detrimental effect on Siobhan, who happened to be half machine, something that could have been avoided if she thought more and death charged less, which would have prevented several maimings. Unfortunately, that was not the case and so she frankly had to get the hell out. Sparks flew from her bionics and smoke coiled from her already strongly damaged and partially melted armour as she shot up into the sky like, as Vulcanus had put it in, an organic rocket ship. The Connor net had not fully set over her yet, with a blast she could punch a holet hrough it and fly out to safety before the discharge crippled her, something that would probably send her tumbling down out of her lofty heights in the sky.

Her lightning blast ceased as all as the Collector droids seemed to be experiencing difficulties with the whole collect the organics for processing operation. Needless to say this affected her as well and her vision suffered as sparks flew from her bionic eye, burning her already damaged face, though she narrowly managed to avoid crashing into one of the Collectors. In a rage she lashed out with a force blast and that hit two of the Collectors and sent them flying down to the ground, into the trajectory of the ball of flame, instantly exploding in a blast of burnt circuits, wreckage and burnt electronics as they were vaporised by the fireball.

Siobhan grit her teeth as she was peppered by wreckage and thrust through the air by the powerful blast. One piece of Collector droid embedded herself in her flesh hand, the armoured glove having been fully melted by the flames of the Dark Lord, meaning that the shard pierced her flesh, heat surging through her hand and blood seeping out. She did not have the focus to remove it, as a flow of electricity began to spread through her body, her bionic eye was going haywire, all sorts of interference playing up to mess with her vision, while the now fully exposed bionic leg seemed on fire. Through the hole in the net that had been created by her blast she shot through, droid wreckage and fire scorching her face, making her cry out in pain as it coursed through her.

In the distance as she shot through the net she could see the three Fire Breathers approaching them, like flying leviathans of death that would undoubtedly be the sort of thing Maelion Liates and Moira Skaldi would come up with - if Siobhan had heard about certain events on Seoul, she would have been happy about the latter being thrown off the roof, but as it is she had bigger problems to deal with. Like...not getting consumed by the flames of the leviathans as they made their way to the animated forest to extinguish all life with the cleansing fires. With her telekinesis Siobhan could throw a walker with sufficient focus - and had actually done so before - but three at the same time was another question, not the least after the energy she had expended with throwing dropships, unleashing omnidirectional force blasts and all that.

Her body aching she simply flew, willing the Force to give her the strength, letting it guide and amplify her as she shot through the sky at super speed, a barrier wrapping itself around her in its protective embrace to hopefully shield her from the flames when they would come as she sped towards the direction of the Gypsymoth, which seemed to have just picked up Spencer judging by the ramp. If [member="Tegaea Alcori"] were here she would have been able to get a rather good view of her wife's body, given that a good chunk of her armour had been melted.

Her Force senses prickled and as she flew she gazed upward, perceiving the distant forms of the cruisers taking up position, obviously readying their weapons. "You know...Jorus. It's been a while since I threw a battleship." That was totally the first thing that would spring to the mind of any remotely sane person.

Sokrai watched Dredge yell into his comm with mild amusement, taking some amusement in his rage. This is going to be lots of fun, She thought, as she walked over to Dredge. "Hello, my lord. I am Sokrai Ronaro. I assume your Supreme Overlord Dredge?" She greeted him, as she kneeled when she said "My lord." Her eyes gazed upwards waiting for a response.

[member="Spencer Jacobs"] and [member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] were now happily and thoroughly aboard the Gypsymoth, which streaked for space, still sheltered by its hibridium cloak. Everything outside the windows was pure darkness. A little extending sensor node gave him the general idea of the Vong fleet's location; instinct wouldn't do.

"Hope you can chuck something you can't see, Sio," said Cap'n Merrill grimly. The battered old YV-929 was bound for clear space, though the fleet was immense. That required an angled course and a slow rise, so that escape velocity's fire wouldn't extend out past the cloaking bubble. Basically, he was running a Hohmann transfer orbit off the ground, which meant the main body of the fleet was getting farther away, but there were still plenty of ships around.
