[member=Lady Kay] Arenais, High Queen of the Commenor Systems Alliance and before that, a breaker of chains for whom constantly found herself on the bad side of Slaving cartels and criminal enterprises; a frequent concern of her husband, he of whom often found himself skeptical when he would watch her head off on an adventure of her own, worried for the attention she might bring upon herself having dealt with past bounties and assassination attempts etc.
Finally deciding to take things a bit more into his own hands where the protection of her life came into play, rather than relying on their security personnel, Veiere sought to create her a better, all purpose attire for which would do her justice in all sorts of negative and life threatening situations. Following the threat of the Iron Contingency and Kay having witnessed the results of what these Iron Knights could force upon others, reluctantly agreed despite that her typical wardrobe encompassed all fashions closer to her political position, accepted Veiere's insistence, if not only for the sake of shutting him up.
The general make of this attire is considered light, all-purpose reconnaissance armor catering best to Kay's build and general preference and aversion to violence. Rather than focusing on what one could do against the opposition, this attire has been designed to capitalize upon her need for evasion and retreat in times of high risk scenarios. The materials used are all non-alloy materials for which offer the lightest of weight when compared to other armor sets, both Armor-weave and Plasteel allowing for ease of mobility and full flight in evasive tactics when required.
Beneath the exterior, a Faraday cage and Anti-Ion Mesh underlay has been included in the overall design so to resist the effects of stun guns and other inhibiting electrical currents or immobilizing energy attacks. Force lightning for example, would too be absorbed by such technology however the armor itself only absorbs so much kinetic impact and thus resistance to the Force as a whole is not considered a strength.
The most prominent piece of note in this attire however is the Personal Cloaking Device, a handy little device that will conceal Kay from the sight of others when required. The device however cannot protect her from the sensory abilities of Force users, something that Veiere has warned her of and will otherwise take confidence in the fact that Kay has forever kept her force sensitivity a secret from public knowledge.
Strengths:
- Resistance to physical/kinetic impacts or blows of force from the likes of environmental falls or hand to hand combat.
- Internal Faraday Cage - Used to counteract the offense of EMP's, Ion Charges and Force Lightening etc (Energy Displacement).
- Personal Cloaking Device - Aids in the reconnaissance, infiltration or evasion of combatant scenarios for which Lady Kay may avoid detection from phsyical sight and security recording devices.
- Light Armor enables the best of mobility across the battlefield at the expense of general defense and damages one might take.
- Low resistance to Lightsabers, Blasters and most weaponry.
- Ranged Weakness - Designed for hand to hand combat, it's defense against blasters is minimal compared to it's ability to protect the wearer from kinetic impacts.
- Heavy Ordinance damage - Will render all protection void, this light armor is not equipped to stand against explosive/high impact attacks.
- Personal Cloaking Device - Does not keep her hidden from Force Users and their ability to sense her presence nearby without Kay employing practice of the Force herself to dampen her aura.
