THE SECOND MANDALORIAN WAR STORY
DAWN OF THE PLASMA WARS | NARRATIVE CONCLUSION
The conflict for Naboo concluded with a pyrrhic victory for the Royal Naboo Republic, if it could even be termed as such, given the widespread destruction of homes, the influx of refugees into the remaining secure areas, and the palace left in ruins following the brutal assault by the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders, who sought to seize the valuable plasma resources contained within.
They had managed to obtain some of the plasma reserves for the Great Crusade, which was the only outcome that was acceptable to Field Marshal VREEGAN FETT. Commanding a tactical withdrawal from his flagship, the MNV INDOMITABLE, after a brief but deadly confrontation with BRIANA SAL-SOREN, where both proved to be evenly matched.
As the Republic began the arduous process of recovery from the shock of the attack, the Mandalorian warships entered hyperspace, embarking on their lengthy return journey to Mandalore and Concordia for resupply.
However, they would not remain idle for long, as reports emerged through backwater channels of the Holonet that the Sith Empire had launched an invasion of Woostri, with the Galactic Alliance moving to defend their member-world at any cost from this resurgent threat.
Kuat, known as the Shipyard of Shipyards, had become vulnerable, though not entirely defenseless. Nevertheless, this was of little concern to the Mandalorians, who were resolute in their belief that "There shall be no peace, just war."
